As a local Hollister resident, my wife and I always look forward to visiting Smashburger whenever we’re in the mood for a great burger. The Smash Tots are always a favorite—crispy, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The food is always served hot, and the staff is friendly and welcoming every time we stop by. I’ve never had a single complaint about this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty, quick lunch or a satisfying meal on the go.

Blanca is the best!! Serves food with a smile and makes you want to come back for more. The food is fresh and tastes great. All the employees are top notch. If you are hungry and want to enjoy your burger with friendly staff. Come here!!

Good customer service, always. The first time I ordered from here they did a wonderful job customizing my burger since I am on a diet restriction. Their food is great, but I couldn't give it 5 stars only because of the fries. As great as the fries are they aren't as good once they cool off. I can't really describe it ...the texture just seems different. Alot of fast food fries are like that anyway, but what makes fries is when I can still eat cold or can revive when cold.

The atmosphere and people are great. The food is good and cooked well and hot when it comes out. The fries are ok, the first time I went I think I got some special fries and they are were a lot better than the regular fries. I also have gotten the Jalapeño Spicy burger which is pretty good but could use a little something, cant tell you exactly what it needs but definitely needs a little more flavor, also the burger is not spicy, but I havent really found much things to be spicy here in California moving from San Antonio, Texas. We also got the chicken tenders which were hot and fresh and with the smash sauce was really good.

I got a bacon protein burger. The bacon was chewy, greasy, and left the whole plate covered in grease—it was nasty. I also ordered a shake that was supposed to have chocolate, but all I got was vanilla with cookie dough. My guest got a chicken sandwich, and the chicken was dry and just plain bad. Honestly, a very disappointing experience.

The breakfast sandwich was okay. Tasted like I made it at home with the authentic cheddar flavor and nice yoke. The star was the hot chicken sandwich which tasted like more! It was at first crispy, then juicy and then a nice warm heat so amazing. So good I know why they limit it to 4 per order.

I'm Still Hangry

I got a bacon protein burger. The bacon was chewy, greasy, and left the whole plate covered in grease—it was nasty. I also ordered a shake that was supposed to have chocolate, but all I got was vanilla with cookie dough. My guest got a chicken sandwich, and the chicken was dry and just plain bad. Honestly, a very disappointing experience.

Understaffed at lunch but good was delicious. Also there Booth seats are not very clean. Overall would still recommend.

Food is good, no issues with that. However! I ordered 2 orders of chicken strips (both 5 piece) we did get 5 in each order but 2 of them were very small! Maybe they could equal 1 normal tender....but I don't think so! The kid that was cashier today near noon was kind and friendly. Takes a LONG time to order. They seem to keep the front for only 1 person when they need at least 3. Be aware smashburger, people who pay $10 for an order of chicken strips should be getting the full serving and not the bottom of the basket tidbits!

After waiting a little over 20 minutes for 2 burgers and an order of Haystack Onions I hear my name called. I walk up to the same employee who took my order with my receipt and she tells me "But that guy said it was his order" as she looked at another man that by this point was going out the door. I gave her my receipt and after a few moments I was told me they would make the order over again. Luckily the second time making the order only took about 10 minutes but when I asked for my receipt back it had been lost in those 10 minutes. To their credit throughout everything the staff was very pleasant and apologetic about the mishaps. As for the food, I had a Double Bacon Smashburger and it was good but not great. Both the burgers and the fried onions were very greasy. The bag actually stained one of my work shirts in my car on the way home. I may have just visited at a bad time but I probably won't be going back and to be very clear the kitchen staff seemed to be on top of things.

I would rate it better if I had got ice with my drink. Apparently it’s been out since yesterday and it’s supposed to get fixed, really?! It’s not that hard to buy some bags of ice and have it for your drinks, especially since you charge $3.69 per drink.

Firstly I will say I’m a food enthusiast, I love good quality food and smashburgers has that quality, but the service and atmosphere my husband experienced while picking up our order today was unprofessional and unnecessary, firstly the girl running the counter completely ignored him and when he explained he was picking up an order she miss heard the name, no biggie but was completely rude to him because it seemed to inconvenience her, secondly we had ordered a 30oz fountain drink with our order and when he asked about it she said there was no drink with order, I’m sorry but I spend good money for food and when a drink is $3.99 I expect what I pay for especially when each burger is $16 a piece. If your going to have someone at the front counter make sure that their customer service ability matches the quality of food, because bad customer service will take away from the quality and quantity of customers you receive, especially being in such a small town and all. Just saying.

The service here is consistently bad! I am reminded ever time! The service is slow, I paid $8.99 and received two chicken tenders. The cushion seats are extremely dirty and looks unsanitary.
