People are friendly, beer is cold, plenty of TVs to watch sports and tons of music on the digital jukebox. One of my favorite spots tucked away in a neighborhood.

Classic ice house. Tucked into residential area and there's just an open air concept that with fans providing a breeze. Pool tables and TV sets. Nothing fancy, just the way an ice house soups be. Friendly server. Parking can be tight. Cool spot to grab a beer and hangout.

Great place! Free pool EVERY DAY!! Where do they do that at? Lol!! Got a flat tire at 1am leaving and the owner actually got down on the ground and helped me change my tire in the humid heat!! He did everything he could to make sure I got home! Much appreciated!!

Great little dive bar in the Garden Oaks/Oak Forest neighborhood. Cheap beers every hour that its open and a great patio outside with horseshoes. Free pool, cold beer and a stacked jukebox make this place a must for the dive bar fan.

Had a issue with my bike don't normally do bars anymore but the bartender was an absolute sweetheart and very helpful. Dunno her name but Sunday at 5pm. Tell whoever's running this place she needs a raise.

We crossed the road from a craft brewery. So glad we did! It's a great ice house! Spent a while here. Prices were great. Pours and service was unmatched!

Cheap beer and not the crowd that visits the Crow Bar. This is more of a laid back local bar.

You know that, unwelcomed... while trying to relax and enjoy a beer feeling.... Yeah that's here... Very prejudice crowd. Its a shame because it's always been a secret treasure. The upscale of the area really has changed that.

Nothing write home about, but horseshoes pool and (fake) darts. Gives you the authentic feel of a dive bar, that takes credit which is a plus.

If you like to sit in the heat with lackadaisical bartenders this is your place....

A fight broke out, someone pulled out a knife then the other person busted out with nunchuks. I wish I was joking. All of this came to an end when someone threaten to pull out a gun. The gun was never pulled out

I went here and they serve FAKE fireball for the same price of the regular stuff, that's so messed up and they don't even disclose it, I'm pretty sure this is against TABC rules, only reason I gave them a second star was for the free pool other than that nope won't recommend ever!

$4 for a regular can (not a tall boy) of Lone Star is high.

This place is VERY low budget. NOT even the cash register is not up to date. The lady was keeping notes and records of payments in a notebook and could not even give me five cents back in change. SHe told me she was going to have to give me a token for when I came the next time.......WHICH I WILL NOT!!

No respect for the neighbors. This place is open 7 days a week and until 2 am! On Monday they had music playing passed 1am in the morning. Since it’s an open bar you can hear every lyric and it’s loud! How do people pay outrageous money for homes in close proximity to this place!

I’ve only have visited this place 3-4 times in 3 years & I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. I was there with my husband & other friends, & note I was only drinking water. The manager or owner just came up to me & said my bartender said you left your syringe in the last stall toilet. I was like what are you talking about? I was in the first stall. When I went in the restroom, the bartender was at the sink, she saw me go into the first stall. When I came out of the stall she was not in the restroom anymore. When I was air drying my hands, she walked back in & jumped & went straight to the last stall & shut the door. I was mortified, shocked & embarrassed that he came up to me & accused me of this. And NO, it wasn’t mine!!! I don’t recommend this place if you want to be accused of something you didn’t do!!

Yes it is a VERY PREJUDICE bar. The bartenders will ignore you completely unless you are a regular drunk. The bartenders over serve all the time. The other patrons make snarky remarks, as well. Too many awesome and similar places to go within a short walk to put up with the attitude at this dive.
