I was surprised that I wasn't to fond of some of the food that I ordered. The food was just mediocre. If you order food here, the best option is ALWAYS going to be their nachos.... anything else, pass on it. Very bland and wasn't impressed at ALL! Customer service was decent! I would recommend a different Mexican restaurant.

2nd time I came at 7;30 am to get breakfast and no one took my order. Waited For 10 minutes at drive through this is ridiculous. Why say open 24/7 if you’re not going to take breakfast orders ?

I went to Chachos because I had a taste for some nachos. It took me 25 minutes to get there and 25 minutes to get home. I was so excited to get my nachos and I couldn't wait to get home to enjoy them. I noticed when I took them out the bag there was nachos cheese in the bag. So I just wiped the bottom of the to go box and began putting on my Pico, jalapeños, etc. I picked up the box and had to wipe it again. The cheese had made it's way back out of the box. I finally got the nachos prepped the way I liked and headed to my patio to have lunch. I grabbed a few napkins and put them in my hand underneath the togo box. Thank God I did, I finally realized why I can't remove the cheese from the bottom of the box. The box was split all the way to the bottom so the cheese was slipping out. So now I decided to tilt the box backwards so the cheese wouldn't run out. I finally got to my first bite and was so disappointed that the chips were stale. I am not traveling another 25min to return this. It is just sad that a Houston staple is now off the list. Also, nobody answered the phone. I tried calling, but there was no answer. So I decided to add to all of the other negative reports.

Don’t not go to this location…. Service is HORRIBLE, no one speaks English. Cooks do not wear gloves. I waited a whole hour to get nachos to go. Condiment bar is very dirty. Restrooms are nasty. No one cleans the dining area. Complete crappy place

First of all I want to start by saying I am a faithful customer, but the day was different when I came to chachos Febuary 24,2026 and there was slow service And they are supposed to have dine in open it’s closed . And literally one lane open which is making customers angry I’m watching them arrive out there cars only to find out dine inn is closed . The staff won’t answer calls so u don’t drive here for no reason if dining is closed . And the worst part is only one lane and second lane is blocked off for lunch rush . This is unacceptable and every one is either leaving or waiting and angry by time we get food . These past two times has not been a pleasant experience. Hair at the salsa bar and horrible service long wait times staff have affinity willing to wait on customers at front counter making them wait there is enough staff one person could always be available for front and drive thru . John Burke needs new staff or more organized crew . Please fix these issues I love chachos but I’m not liking this service and wait times work on this .

Extremely rude. I passed the establishment en route to work noticing a vehicle in the drive thru at the window. I was stopped at a signal light and had to wait. I eventually made a u-turn and placed an order for two breakfast burritos. While waiting, I finished watching one show and started another, noticing that quite a few minutes had passed. I backed up to inquire about the order and because the lady couldn't hear me, came outside and proceeded to yell at me that she deleted my order bc she didn't see me. "Ma'am, I sat behind this man for 10 minutes before I backed up and you just said my order was first bc it was only burritos. If it was prepared and it was first, how is it is now deleted and I just backed up? You know what, never mind. I don't want it." It is the best $6.50 I never spent. NEVER WILL I EVER GO BACK.

I am very disappointed in this establishment here in HOUSTON, Texas. The food was not even cooked. ( corn tortillas). I ordered cheese enchilada with raw onions on top. My cheese was not melted, they put hamburger meat inside instead of more cheese inside. That's the way I like it. No meat! When you cut into the uncooked corn tortilla, you can tell it's not even warmed up.... Being a woman who cooks enchiladas at home, come on now. I'm not expecting perfection; just do it right. Oh, then I wanted to report it, guess what? LINE BUSY.... I've been on the road for a few hours and thought why not stop here and eat something hot and good. Nope, I pray they get better at listening to the customers who pay their wages. Close this place down if they don't.

We were overcharged and asked about it. They then tried to refuse the refund. Once they agreed we were only refunded for a part of our purchase and then double charged. It was ridiculous and a waste of time. Not to mention the restaurant was gross. All the tables were dirty and the floor was sticky, and the bathrooms wreaked of sewage. Don’t come here unless you’d like to be over charged, and don’t forget to check your receipts.

Just left drive-through, I tried to order two medium fajita nachos. Once my order was placed, I was given a price and I realize that I ordered them wrong fajita meat so I switched to the cheap one only for them to tell me that they ran out of The House beef because they didn’t want to remake my order. They always have attitudes and always take forever for your food to be done.

At 1:00 AM on a Monday morning, the weather was 40° outside.I went through the drive-thru at Chacho’s on 45N. Freeway 45 and Tidwell. The drive-through black guy guy with a red hoodie on was very rude. I sat at the speaker for 8 minutes, and no one even acknowledged me… not even to ask me to hold. The guy working the drive thru stepped outside and said, “you can’t order at the window… you’re going to have to get back in line!” - In his SUPER RUDE voice. The car behind me a (sweet young lady) asked if I could give her my order and she would pay - so I would not have to get back in the line again. Long story short… Customer service was at it worst!

I will NEVER order from here again! The food was HORRIBLE, chips stale, charro beans under cooked (nice flavor at least), cheese gritty, meat an odd texture, my ranch was in a styrofoam cup that appeared to have been bitten through (assuming mice/rats) and particles of styrofoam were actually in the ranch!!!! I live too far to have turned around and demand a refund in person. I will not be a returning customer!

The food is good. The drinks are good however, the restaurant management and staff choose whenever they want to be open. They choose whenever they want to accept cash. They choose whenever they want to only accept card. It’s whenever they feel like it and that’s not good for the community and it’s definitely not good for business.
