Everything was as usual, and I enjoyed my meal very much. I tried the beef fajita, which was incredibly delicious. My only concern is that they no longer serve crab nachos. However, everything else was fantastic. The waitress was also very professional and attentive. She even tried to ask the chef if it was possible to make crab nachos, even though they couldn’t. It was very nice of her to bother herself asking the chef.

I was raised in the hospitality industry. My grandparents owned and ran a very successful Mexican restaurant, so great service is something I notice immediately and honestly do not see very often anymore. I can say without hesitation that the level of service here reminded me of my grandmother’s restaurant. Every single staff member went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. They checked on our table six or seven times, not in an intrusive way, but in a way that showed real attentiveness and pride in what they do. When it was time to leave, we asked to box up the rest of my daughter’s fajitas. Not only did they do that without hesitation, but they also asked if there was anything else we needed, offered water to go, and even asked if we would like chips and salsa to take with us. Since we were traveling out of town, that extra thoughtfulness meant a lot. And if there’s a way into my heart, it’s salsa and queso. The food was excellent and very well prepared, but the service is what truly stood out. It was easily the best service I’ve experienced in at least 20 years. Now I completely understand why they have thousands of reviews and a 4.9 rating. They do hospitality the right way, and it shows. This was a genuinely great experience, and it was appreciated.

5/5 - Outstanding Service! I visited Cyclone Anaya's recently and had the best experience thanks to our server, Saidi. She was incredibly polite, patient, and genuinely kind from the moment we sat down. Her professionalism and respectful attitude made the whole meal even better. Saidi checked on us at the perfect times, made great recommendations, and made sure everything came out just right. You can really tell she cares about her guests and takes pride in her work. If you're going to Cyclone Anaya's, I highly recommend asking for Saidi -- she truly made our visit exceptional. Easily one of the best servers l've ever had!

Stopped in for brunch, & it did not disappoint. All of the staff were friendly, & Janiya provided excellent service. She shared some of her personal picks, made sure we had full drinks & received our food promptly, & checked on us regularly. The Eggchiladas & Migas were both very tasty, & the $10 mimosa with penny refills was an added bonus. Great service, great food, & a great aesthetic!

my partner and i stopped by here after on a day trip to houston and we were not disappointed. our server janiya was so sweet and welcoming and so was the owner. we got the chili poblano and the enchilada trio for entrees and the tres leches for dessert. the food was so wonderful and so was the atmosphere, i can’t recommend it enough.

What a night! Came into the restaurant with some friends to enjoy food, drinks and get out of the rain. Janiya was our server, and she took care of us! She was knowledgeable, kind, and prompt! I had the marisco enchiladas and they were yummy. I do wish they were stuffed with a bit more seafood but they were great! A blast 10/10

I had an almost private dining experience as I seemed to miss the lunch rush. Janiya took really good care of me - service with a smile, a couple of totally appropriate jokes and checking periodically to be sure I was satisfied. It was second time dining at this Cyclone Anaya’s location and because the service was great, I’ll definitely be back.

This place is really cool. The vibe is happening and fun. The food was out of this world. Jess was a pleasure. We were looking for something new and different in H town and we definitely found it. We will be back. Highly recommend Cyclone Anaya’s for a friends outing or date night.

Let me tell you!!!! This place was amazing!! My sister and I stumbled upon this location (River Oak) while looking for food before her flight. When we walked in, we were amazed by the ambience. It was giving authentic, yet modern. Our waiter Javier was amazing and extremely attentive. He answered all of our questions about food and drinks!!! He provided excellent service!! Naim gave us a history lesson of the restaurant and its locations. Which was super informative! He was so kind and kept making sure we were good. He also gave us a coupon for our next visit! Now to the food! We both ordered Chicken and waffles! It was amazing! The waffle batter was sweet and creamy, and the chicken was seasoned to perfection. The jalapeño honey was a taste I didn’t know that I ever needed 😍 and the chicken was seasoned to perfection as well as the homemade whipped cream. Chef’s kiss!!! Our experience was delightful and we will definitely be back!!! Thank you Cyclone Anaya River Oaks!!! See you guys soon!

We had the pleasure of performing at their 1 year anniversary. We had lots of fun performing here. Clients were having a good time and clapping. All the staff is very friendly. At the end we were given dinner; which was courtesy of the restaurant. We are extremely grateful not only for hiring us to perform but for being so good to us. Please visit you won’t regret it.

We reserved the room for big groups that has a big screen TV. It worked out great. Victor and other staff provided great service. The food and drink were very good. Lots of parking.

Great and clean atmosphere. Very attentive service (almost a bit too “attentive”). There has to be a better balance how often i will be asked by the waiter “if everything is alright”… This is more annoying than helpful. Restaurant has a fantastic, modern atmosphere! The interior design is truly a highlight with an intricate, warm red-orange lighting. The setting is definitely chic and perfect for a night out. The meal itself was good and delivered on classic comfort food expectations. We enjoyed the chips and salsa—the salsa had a nice, rustic texture. For the main course, the tacos were hearty and came with all the expected fixings. The plate was filling, complete with sides of Mexican rice, refried beans, and some well-charred roasted brussels sprouts. The cocktails refreshing and were well-made. While the food wasn't necessarily a stand-out culinary experience, it was satisfying and hit the spot. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a super stylish setting and solid.

We were surprised to see that very few tables were occupied even though it was a Fri evening. We ordered the Tortilla soup and Fried Mahi tacos with rice and tamarind glazed brussel sprouts. We enjoyed the food, especially the soup and the brussel sprouts.

This whole visit was a mess. But a delightful mess. Somehow the table by ours had a platter hit the ground and shattered all over the place. Shards flew to our table and into the booth with us. Nobody was hurt, no lawsuits - but definitely jarring. We ordered margaritas and split the appetizer. The chips and salsa were Good! And the little snacks were great. Our server - I don’t remember her name, but I think she was Ethiopian - was fantastic. Personable, knowledgeable and attentive. (She was not the plate tosser)
