I really recommend this place if u haven't been here yet u need to check it out. And if u have been here before and you don't like it. Go ahead and kick rocks cause this place is not for you. Bye!!!

ANGELA is GREAT the VIBES are immaculate. Met the owner on my first visit she was very hands on with her staff I over heard her talking. It's a great place thus far, I'm new the community and everyone has been so welcoming .. Oh Angela also told me the ins and out of the establishment including where patio is located... Also. . She told me about the steak night plate featuring Ribeye as well as Pork Chop. I'm so glad I found a neighborhood bar. Thank you Hunters Pub.

I would give this place 10 Stars if it would allow me to. I can't say enough good things about this bar. I don't go to many pubs. So, I'm reviewing this on slim experiential knowledge. Yes Thursday night the stakes are to die for. If I stop right here that's still reason for four stars. Add to it that the drinks are affordable. Not to mention, karaoke night is so much fun.(I don't sing. But I do dance if the right song is on). As for the people that come here, they give it a Texas "Cheers" vibe without the accent. So stop through and introduce yourself. Try to remember names, cause 2 things are for sure. 1). You will be back 2) You will see someone you met the first time you came. Whether you're playing shuffleboard, shooting a game of pool, or trying to get famous on the karaoke mic, you can have you an affordable bucket of dos Equis dressed or naked(the beer comes dressed or naked)Please wear clothes. I suggest dress casual with a cowboy hat. 🤠

Great neighborhood bar. It's small and out of the way. I lived 0.75 miles away for decades and had no idea it was there until recently. Bartenders are friendly and there are always several regulars. Nearly every night they hold an event of some kind, with karaoke Thursday-Saturday, steak on Thursdays, free pool or pool tournaments on other days, etc. The place is close enough for me to walk to, so I do and I love the smell as I approach if I go on Thursdays. :) I don't drink much besides Coke and Bourbon, so I can't tell you if they're any good at mixing drinks. I'm never disappointed, but it would be hard to disappoint me given how simple the drink is. :) Anywho, I definitely recommend giving it a try. It's one of those places that you just want to keep returning to because of the community.

Dropped in by random on a Monday night for a quick drink. What a great little hole in the wall! Super atmosphere, good music, generous drinks and Esmy behind the bar was just great! Need to come back to Houston for a couple of appointments in the future and will definitively spend some time here again!!!

Small cozy bar with welcoming bartender/staff and nice customers. Clean with a pretty good outdoor deck in the back. I can imagine the place packed on weekends and during sporting events. Probably go back on a Thursday to try their rib eyes during steak night! Regular shuffleboard & pool tournaments as well!

Thursday is steak night! Be prepared to order your steak more cooked than you're used to. While the steaks are well seasoned and a great size, the two we ordered were way rarer than we expected. The steak, potato,and salad were enough to keep me fed for a two meals. The atmosphere is that of Hollywood bar that can only be compared to Cheers. The staff is very friendly and the customers are almost all regulars. If you're looking for a neighborhood bar, look no further; this is the bar for you!

While they don't have munchies on a regular basis,, they have steaks(2 cuts) OR 2 pork chops. On top.of that, with your meat you get a baked potato and a salad. I believe the price is 20.00 for the steak and 18.00 or so for the pork chops.

I've been coming here for years, spent more money at the owner's other locations than most average patrons, and the quality of service had fallen drastically. Waited an hour tonight for a rare steak that never came, and the waitress never came back to check on us after we first ordered. Received only an argument from the staff with no apology. Won't be back.
