This was a truly fantastic dining experience in every way. The owners are involved in all parts of the restaurant, and came to guide us through the menu, and worked to understand our tastes in order to best recommend a dish. Everything was INCREDIBLE - highly recommend the #70 and #94, and the wonton soup. The avocado coffee dessert is also not to be missed.

This place was phenomenal! I’ve not had much Vietnamese food before and I have allergies and AFRID. They were patient and explained the menu and ingredients when asked. I rarely sub items unless allergies and they were able to accommodate the one I asked for. Very attentive service without pestering you and I loved seeing the employees eat their own specially curated, very large meals on break from there. Some places won’t even give their employees discounts to eat there during work.

Huynh Restaurant consistently delivers great food and great service, which is why it’s always a standout when we’re in Houston. Everything we’ve had has been flavorful and well prepared, and the experience feels personal in the best way. One thing that really sets this place apart is that the owner actively walks the floor, checking in with guests and offering thoughtful menu suggestions. That level of involvement shows in both the quality of the food and the overall experience. They’re also very strong when it comes to gluten-free options. The staff is knowledgeable, comfortable answering questions, and clearly understands how to guide diners with dietary needs. That confidence makes dining here easy and enjoyable. Huynh is a place we trust and one I’m always happy to recommend.

Freaking love this place! I was in town for a convention with a friend who is Vietnamese and wanted to take me out. This place is SO GOOD we came back the next day for more. The rice and noodle dishes are amazing, but the coconut and avocado coffee drinks are to die for. In the span of 2 meals we were served and welcomed by the whole family that works here. We were given personal recommendations based on what we liked and they challenged me to try new things, which I am glad I did. 5 stars from me!

They were so accommodating to our party. Gave great suggestions, helped us split our pho so we could all get a portion. Also very attentive to allergies. Food was delicious! Never felt rushed and sound was a good level that we could hold a conversation. 10 min walk from convention center, and located in a small strip mall.

The Truth

The food here is pretty delicious. I had Bun Bo Hue and some spring rolls. Very happy with the flavor of both. The service is also great, kind and attentive staff. I recommend!

Food is great. There's a lot of seats and servers. But one thing affected my experience is that me and my friend got a seat beside the wall at the end of an isle, a lot of different servers will walk by us and look at us. Though it make sense they are just trying to see if anyone needs to be served, it was a little bit awkward and my friend had to look outside the window to avoid eye contact with the server passing by.

Huynh Restaurant delivers on flavor but fell short on service during our visit. We started with the fresh spring rolls with shrimp — oh my, they were light, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The peanut sauce had just the right kick of spice. For mains, I had the pho with ribeye beef. The portion was perfect, the broth amazingly fresh, and the beef was tender and flavorful. My wife ordered the vermicelli bowl with strip-fried lemongrass beef, which was fragrant, well-seasoned, and refreshing. Both dishes really impressed us. The downside was our waiter, Brian. He came across as rude and dismissive. When my wife asked about a Banh Mi, he replied, “This is not a sandwich shop.” On top of that, while I was deciding between pho and vermicelli, he made it seem like I didn’t know Vietnamese cuisine at all. Those kinds of comments felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Thankfully, the rest of the staff stepped in and saved the evening. They kept our drinks full, quickly fixed our spring roll order, and treated us warmly. Their attentiveness helped balance out the poor impression Brian left. Came here for a work lunch before noon and the restaurant was almost packed. This place has been around for more than 30 years at its current location, which was the original Chinatown in Houston before the area got gentrified. Got the bun mang vit, which means noodles , bamboo and duck. I usually get the Hieu Tieu but a colleague ordered for me and didn’t disappoint. The duck was moist and came with a sweet ginger dipping sauce.

Stopped in for dinner while in town for game, Huynh did not disappoint! We were served promptly and politely. I think every waiter touched our table at some point, including the owner, either dropping something off, picking up finished plates, or checking on us. Food was stellar, fresh and tasty, some of the best Vietnamese food I've had, and I have 30 years of exposure. The feeling that everyone working in the restaurant was working together as a team however, impacted my impression the most. I will definitely be back to enjoy another meal here.

Great food. I had spring rolls and the phoenix chicken. Spring rolls had nice big shrimp. The chicken was super crispy and tasty. Service was very friendly. I overheard them helping several people unfamiliar with Vietnamese food. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

The best Pho I’ve had in Houston. It had an incredible amount of depth in the broth and the ability to add up to four types of meat (for no extra cost) was amazing. I would also highly recommend the #82 particularly if you’re a vegetarian. I was skeptical when I first pulled up but the inside is actually quite nice and has a great ambiance. Excellent service as well.

Online order- everything was accurate, order was ready on time, the top is slightly burnt but for $3 can't really complain

Stopped by for lunch with a friend on a Friday afternoon. She ordered the pan fried rice cake noodle dish with grilled chicken, beef, pork and seafood. I ordered the chargrilled beef short ribs with shrimp and fried egg over rice. My first time here but I was really impressed with the food! The ribs are seasoned well and there’s a hint of lemongrass in the dish. I tried my friend’s dish and it tasted even better than mine. I definitely think the Hu Tieu rice noodles are the most popular menu items. We arrived around 1:30pm and the dining room was filled to the brim with patrons. Service is attentive nothing to complain about. Parking is a real struggle here, there are very few spots available in front.

A fantastic Vietnamese restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and genuinely friendly, helpful staff. The food was consistently flavorful and above average across the board. A great spot for authentic Vietnamese cuisine—I’ll definitely return next time I’m in town.

The staff are so polite and and they take you to a table as soon as you enter. While we were going through the menu there were 3 waiters who came and checked if we had been reached out by any waiter and if we ordered our drinks to start with. It was good. I ordered a stuff crust pepperoni pizza and wings. The pizza was half cut and the wings tasted burnt. I tried to eat it but it was extra chewy. My dig didn’t even want it I called the store several times that day but didn't get an answer. I called again the next day just to be told it was nothing they could because it was yesterday. I asked to speak to the manger and was told they were gone on a bank run. The lady took my name and number for the manager to call me back when they got back. No phone call back I tried calling the store back but was hung up on when I ask to speak to the manager.

I honestly wish i could have given this place zero stars. I’ll let them have the 1 star because they did try to make it right. I ordered a pizza with extra meat and extra cheese and it didn’t come with either! The manager was kind and gave me a store credit for my order. Fast forward to a week after and ordered again and unsurprisingly it was not correct either. First of all i ordered a $12 pizza that was $20 and was made incorrectly AGAIN. It had the extra cheeese but not the extra meat and i didn’t get my garlic dip. Also, this order was delivered by a door dash driver who had her boyfriend or whoever he was driving her and my food wasn’t sealed. Needless to say i didn’t even eat it. Money down the drain. Do not waste your money here. The incompetence is at an all time high in this store. The pic is from the first pizza they messed up. The second one went in the trash

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! I’m so Disappointed. I waited close to 2 hours for ONE pizza. I live just 9 minutes away from this store! Dried out and Luke warm pizza. There are a lot of reviews stating the service and delivery time is atrocious. Isn’t corporate or the store going to do anything about this? You’re charging customers for a service and food that is absolutely not worth it. If you’re short staffed then reduce the radius for delivery to get deliveries in time or cross train people while hiring. I hope the store gets better, but for me I’m never going to order from Pizza Hut again.

The delivery person called us and asked us to come to her car. She said she was short staffed and had a lot of deliveries to make and didn't feel like getting out their car. When I got back home, our pizza was under distress to say the least. The picture is exactly how the pizza looked when we first opened the box. We've ordered from here a few times. It's been the same poor service. This will be the last time we order from here again.

Yolanda was very rude. The other manager was helpful. She instantly got an attitude with me over the phone. I spoke with another manager that was willing to help fix the issue with my order. Yolanda basically called me a liar and was very rude over the phone.

ordered two pizzas, wings, Diet Coke breadsticks. Delivery was made. Pizza was so soggy. bread sticks were not delivered. They sent a regular Pepsi instead of a diet. This is a terrible service.

Ordered bun Bo but Togo and got a small order with no veggies. Please don’t even try to specify extra veggies or pay for extra sauce and veggies, they’re going to give you the standard small regular bowl no matter what and it’s very disappointing. I decided to try this place, because I was desperate in the area of downtown. The price is really not worth it one bit. Tax and tip came out to $30 for one bowl of bun Bo hue with no sauce and veggies whatsoever all for a Togo order. As a Vietnamese person, we know the sauce and the veggies makes the dish but wow…no sauces (shrimp paste/chili oil/veggies) they’ll fool anyone. It’s pretty unbelievable the service and packaging on Togo orders. I get more from ordering pho anywhere than this place. How do you sell BBH without giving customers specific sauce or veggies for this and to be in the higher end of BBH price. Extremely disappointed and disgusted. How it looks after I empty my large bowl of BBH into a bowl after boiling the broth. Provided no sauces or veggies that normally comes with it especially how this place gauges the crap of the normal cost of BBH typically. The bowl looked so sad it was asking for a hug and some clothes cause it looked so naked without garnishes. Bruh….so pitiful
