We had a dinner for two “par excellence” here last month. The Houston Restaurant weeks menu got us to try this fine dining place at a discounted price. Our steaks (filet mignon) were excellent and so were our scallops appetizer and the sides. The desserts were simply delicious! The glass of red wine I picked (Saint Cosme red blend) was a wonderful accompaniment for my steak at a reasonable price.

Had a super evening a Vic's. We discovered the hard that no shorts were allowed on men. Quick trip back to our room solved that issue. Front door staff were very thoughtful in their approach. Bat was friendly and very fast with drinks. Excellent espresso martinis. Once seated we had very sharp service by Oliver. He was attentive yet not overly in our face. Oysters scallops were good. Crab cakes were amazing. Overall excellent experience.

Amazing steak dinner here at V&A. We had Andres serving and he was phenomenal- absolutely enhanced the evening. We tried the bone in ribeye, NY strip, creamed spinach, whipped potatoes, lobster bisque and ended with cheesecake topped with blueberries. Everything was delicious; perfected seared steak cooked to the temp ordered, and the sides were equally tantalizing. The cheesecake slice was huge- one to share is plenty. We can’t wait to come back.

It was my anniversary and we walked in gave the name and the hostess congratulated us on our anniversary! As we walked through to our tables EVERYONE we walked past said welcome in ! Very inviting! Our waiter DOMINIQUE (hope I spelled his name right)was 1000/10 the best waiter! I have never been to a steakhouse and the service was as good as his! We probably waited 15-20 mins for our food to come out after we ordered! The food was worth every penny and then some! Thank you Vic and Anthony we will be back!!

Vic and Anthony's is a standout among my favorite steakhouses, offering a sophisticated and enjoyable experience. During our wait for the table, we enjoyed a drink at the bar, treated to a musical performance by a duo. The old fashioned and Manhattan cocktails were expertly crafted. The Jumbo Lump Crab Cake appetizer was a highlight, featuring a mouthwatering sauce paired with generous portions of crab meat, resulting in a truly exceptional taste experience. For the main course, the A5 Filet Mignon was expertly seasoned and cooked to medium perfection, boasting a tender and flavorful texture. Accompanied by mashed potatoes, asparagus, and shrimp, the dish was elevated by a delightful sauce. The A4 Ribeye was equally impressive, showcasing remarkable tenderness and flavor. The mac and cheese and mashed potatoes sides were outstanding. To round off our meal, the croissant bread pudding and caramel chocolate cake provided a satisfying conclusion, offering rich and decadent flavors. Brent, our waiter, delivered outstanding service, making our experience truly memorable. Will be returning soon.

7.5/10 Experience Vic & Anthony’s is a great spot for a first date, birthday dinner, or even a family night out. They offer valet parking and there was live music when we walked in, which set a really nice vibe. The lighting is very dim and definitely gives a romantic atmosphere, although the bathrooms could use a little more lighting. The portions are pretty huge, so sharing sides or even a main dish works well. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and potatoes and split them with someone — both were really good. The red wine was also excellent. The only downsides were the bread and the tap water. The bread was a bit overcooked (almost too hard), and the tap water didn’t taste great. Overall, I’d rate it 7.5/10. Good food and atmosphere, but a few small details could be improved.

We went to Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse for Valentine’s Day, and honestly, it was a bit chaotic at first. The line to valet was insane — we waited almost an hour just to park. For special occasions like that, I would definitely recommend arriving extra early or being prepared for delays. Even though we were late to our reservation because of the parking situation, they still seated us, which we really appreciated. Our server was very polite, and once we were settled, the experience improved. We started with the lobster bisque, and for our main courses we had the ribeye and the NY strip, with mac and cheese on the side. The food was good and satisfying. The drinks were solid — nothing extraordinary, but enjoyable. We skipped dessert because we were completely full.They had live music downstairs, but unfortunately it couldn’t be heard upstairs, which was a bit disappointing because the singer sounded lovely from a distance. Overall, despite the parking situation, the service and food made it a pleasant Valentine’s experience.

This was my first time visiting with my wife celebrating my birthday. We did make reservations. They have paid valet parking. Right away the atmosphere was inviting/warm. Date night for sure! We were seated quickly and greeted by our server. He took our drink orders and brought bread for the table. Service was amazing! Its what you would expect from such a nicely laid out steakhouse. I had the lobster bisque for as a starter and it was delicious. Very flavorful and creamy. I ordered a bone in ribeye with a pepper corn crust cooked medium. My wife ordered the chicken. The steak was just ok. It lack flavor. I would recommend pairing one of the steak toppings with your preferred cut. My wife felt the same for the chicken. Overall I gave it 4/5! The atmosphere and service alone is worth a retry.

Vic & Anthony’s in Houston delivered an excellent dining experience overall. The food was phenomenal, perfectly cooked steak and red snapper, rich sides, and great wine and cocktail selection. Service was equally outstanding: attentive, professional, and seamless throughout the evening. On food and service alone, this restaurant is a clear 5/5. Where the experience fell short was the ambience. The dining room was much noisier than expected for an upscale steakhouse, which made it harder to fully enjoy the evening. Additionally, many guests were dressed very casually, which distracted from the refined atmosphere the restaurant aims for. These factors made the overall value feel closer to a 3/5. Taking everything into account, I’d give Vic & Anthony’s a solid 4/5. It’s absolutely worth visiting for the food and service, but know that the environment may not always match the upscale price point.

The food and waiter staff service were a 10 out of 10 however I experienced a rude valet person last night after my friend and I both paid the $13 parking fee. It is my hope that a message can be passed on to the Valet service to avoid directing cars in Daikin parks direction on busy event nights. Valet staff person pulled my car into the front area of the restaurant facing the direction of many pedestrians whom were walking from the near by stadium . I noticed that several streets were blocked at the exit of the restaurant. One valet person was rude informing me that I needed to move my vehicle out of the driveway area although many pedestrians were walking and several streets were barricaded. The valet driver stated that I was blocking the driveway although cars were able to bypass me. The situation could have been easily resolved if valet pulled my car in facing away from pedestrians. In the future I plan to only continue to visit Landry's restaurants that are located in less chaotic areas due to this experience.

My husband like to take me to New places, her picked here for Valentine's. It was super busy no where to sit and wait. Go our table within 5 min of our reservation. Our table was under a vent and we physically had to scout it over as we were being dripped on. Told 3 different people and not one did anything. 2 tables beside us had problems also one had the wrong cook on her steak and they never got the replacement her husband finished his food as she ate nothing but half the baked potato. The other table they lost their food literally I heard the manager telling them they would cook more but they wanted it to go at that point. My steak the 8oz filet was perfectly cooked The hubby's chicken was juicy and flavorful He got a Cesar salad and it was drenched in the strongest dressing I have ever seen he couldn't even finish it. I got the au graten potatoes they tasted fine but had no salt or seasoning to them just cheese and potato? With a touch of salt they were fine. Overall for a fine dining experience with a high cost, 6 out of 10 for me the meat was the only saving grace. Edit* we waited over an hour in the rain to get our car from valet. To be precise 1 hour 17 minutes and we me them on the road.

First time here. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The bread they give to tables had a hard crust and was chewy inside. I ordered the crab cake, seared scallops, Gold Coast cocktail, and chocolate cake. The cocktail was the only good thing here. The crab cakes were the same as any other Landry's restaurant. I understand they have the same owner, but I expected a bit more from a premier, award-winning steakhouse. The scallops were better, but I felt like they were missing something. The chocolate cake was dry, like it had been in the fridge for a day or two. The waiter was nice and professional but kept pushing the $100+ steak plates.

I had been craving their croissant bread pudding my whole pregnancy. I finally decided to order it through uber eats since I couldn’t drive at almost 38 weeks pregnant. Got here for 9:30pm reservation. They kept pushing late for dinner specially on New Year’s, where people would want to head out for fireworks. Plus, the receptionist was arrogant as well instead of apologizing. I have added the picture. It was horrible a lot of people waiting even after reservation. At least, minimum 40 mins wait even after reservation. I would never recommend to visit this restaurant.
