My family’s favorite Indian restaurant in Houston!! AMAZING food every time, super fresh, and the prices are all great. The ambience is classy and service is phenomenal. All staff are so welcoming and take care of us very well!! We love all of their appetizers mostly grilled items which are simple but taste amazing: manty, chooza, tawa paneer, and their seekh kebabs For mains i love their lamb bhuna and their malai kofta so much you must try!! And of course their chicken tikka masala is a classic. All of their naans are delicious but try the paneer kulcha if you want something different it's so good!! For dessert I love everything they have: mango lassi, gulab jamun, kheer and kulfi! 10/10 recommend this place, it will always be my favorite Indian food in Houston!!

I've been wanting to stop in here for years and finally had an opportunity yesterday evening. It was a nice treat to be served complimentary poppadum and chutney, very few restaurants seem to do that anymore. Chicken Korma is my very favorite dish out of any in the world, and their version is lovely (the only thing I'll do differently is order the higher spice level next time). You honestly get quite a lot of food for the price, too - naan, rice, and kachumber salad are included. They are also one of the few Indian restaurants in Houston that serve my favorite beer, Taj Mahal. All that and a delicious bowl of kheer for dessert made for an excellent dinner. Our waiter was wonderful and gave us the perfect amount of attention. I look forward to trying the buffet next. If you're new to Houston or to this area of town, be sure to catch the famous and long-standing "sign battle" between Khyber and the Pappas restaurant just west on Richmond. Khyber's sense of humor has been keeping rush-hour drivers entertained for as long as I can remember.

Such a wonderful experience.. Our service was beyond expectations. I had the Lamb and was delighted by the taste.. but the portion size was equally impressive. Thank you for a fantastic experience. Excellent Indian Restaurant with delicious food and fantastic service. My server was extremely attentive, made excellent recommendations, and made the meal an excellent experience. I had the Lamb Korma (hot) and a beer he recommended. The Korma was delicious and the beer recommended paired perfectly with it. I highly recommend this as it is a great meal at a fair price.

Delicious dinner (and dessert) paired with amazing service! We got garlic naan, mughali korma and butter chicken which were excellent pairings if you’re sharing. For dessert got a mango sorbet which was so flavorful and refreshing, I’d love to go back just for that. The staff was friendly and attentive, but the shining star was our waiter (wish I had gotten his name to give recognition) was personable and helpful. Would love to explore and try more of their dishes. Bummed don’t live in town, but definitely will stop back by when returning to Houston.

This is an absolutely hidden gem of Houston! The curries, daal, veggies tastes like true Indian food! Their lamb curry is to die for.. it tastes like back home.. authentic and finger licking. Fully recommend their buffet (its same menu every day). They have rice pudding (Kheer/phirni) with pistachio topping and delicious gulab jamuns included in their buffet. They also serve pure wheat tandoori roti which is quite rare to find in restaurants. Service is amazing. Mr. Khanna has always been very welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to go back.

Reliable, good Indian buffet. Not the cheapest at $22 per person but certainly in a more upscale atmosphere than the usual Hillcroft restaurants. Food on par with any other place. No better, but certainly no worse. Love the fact that they make their naan bread fresh and brought it out often. Very good service. We were a party of 5 (one person did not eat at all) and there was a service charge tacked on already. A little weird but not sure if that is their standard practice.

Very nice atmosphere and not so spicy or oily food. American will enjoy the food. They use good quality Olive oil for food. No a typical noisy and noisy Indian restaurant in town. Good collection of wine and beer. Never forget the location. It is is mid-town Kirby and River Oaks area. Expensive and upscale neighborhood. Still the food is affordable. I will highly recommend to our American friends. About 8-9 tables were occupied, we were the only Desi family.

🫕I recently visited Khyber North Indian Grill for my birthday and I must say that it was a wonderful experience. I chose this restaurant because I was craving some authentic Indian cuisine and the pictures on their website looked very inviting. I was pleased to find that the restaurant was easy to locate and had ample parking, which made my Sunday lunch outing hassle-free. The restaurant décor was impressive and complemented the cuisine perfectly. What really stood out for me was the attention to detail . The restaurant provided fans that made the dining experience comfortable. I have visited several Indian restaurants in the past and have tried a variety of dishes, so I was excited to sample the Butter Chicken and Spicy Chicken Tikka Masala at Khyber North Indian Grill. I must say that the food was pretty good and I would rate it a 7/10. However, what really made my experience memorable was the hospitality and service provided by the waiter. He was very attentive and friendly, making sure that our needs were met and even offering some excellent recommendations. I would rate his service a perfect 10/10. Overall, if you are a fan of Indian food and great service, I highly recommend that you visit Khyber North Indian Grill. It was a fantastic experience and I am sure you will not be disappointed. Wine was available bottle or glass, the economical choice would be to just get a bottle its only a few more dollars than a glass. They add gratuity to your bill, so tipping is taken care of. The chicken curry was delicious and the naan bread was in abundance. It was a nice meal and decent atmosphere.

Khyber Indian restaurant ambiance was really good. Lot of local people visits and enjoy Indian food here. I tried chicken vindaloo and found over-rated on the reviews front and I personally did not like it. I like garlic naan and veg platter option though. It is little costlier side. You can definitely try Indian Masala tea if you enjoy having tea. Overall it was good experience.

Please don't eat buffet here. They say it's 24$ but after gratuity and service charge it will cost 30$. This is extremely costly given such a small menu in their buffet. I shall prefer Naga's buffet anyday. If naga's is 10, this is 2.
