This place is amazing if you really want Korean food. They provide not only BBQ, but also Kimchi Bulgogi fries, Korean fried chicken, cheese hot dogs, etc. They fry the food after you order. If you want seafood, you have to go to the S tier. I only went for the A tier, yet I'm impressed by the quality of their meats. The side dishes are also tasty. They have tons of Korean decorations that make you feel like you are in Korea in person. Their tofu soup is spectacular. I did smell steam egg in the store but I didn't find it on the menu. Wonder they provide it or not. This is really a good place for dining with a group of friends and family.
The best Korean restaurant in Houston! My husband and I are both Koreans and all kinds of ban-chan(side dishes) are so good and it tastes like genuine Korean food. Vegetables are so fresh and main dish-grilled mackerel and grilled pork was also very good. What we liked most is that all foods in here were perfectly seasoned, not too salty or too sweet. The stone pot rice is also amazing!! And for the final sikhye-sweet drink for dessert-was also perfect. If anyone wants to try real Korean food, this is the one you should visit!
The food was very delicious, the service was attentive, and both the owner and the staff were very friendly. They even gave me rice juice to take home 🥰
I can’t express how great of a time we had here. The atmosphere is nice and the area is clean. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food quality is amazing and the portions were definitely worth the price. For two people it was a lot of fun, but this would also be a good place for large groups. I recommend and I’d go again.
Great place! Everything from the food to the servers was very good. Waitress were very attentive and nice. I ate the Yukgaejang and it was a huge portion and delicious. I hear the Gamjatang is good also so will have to come back to try. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We ordered gamjatang and seafood pancake, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous, and the meat in the gamjatang was especially plentiful and tender. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal, highly recommend!
The food was amazing and the quality of the meat was excellent. Everything was fresh and well seasoned, and the banchan were all delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a great spot for Korean BBQ .I’ll be coming back!
Speaking as a Korean American, the BBQ at Korea House is almost exactly like what you’d find in Korea, which makes it really special. Houston has a lot of Korean restaurants, but many of them are fusion-style. Every time I come to this restaurant, it feels like going back home. From the atmosphere and the food to the staff, everything reminds me of what I experienced in Korea.
Hands down the best AYCE Korean BBQ and Authentic Korean dishes in Houston! I’ve been coming here for 19 years, and the most impressive thing is how they’ve kept the same amazing quality and consistency all these years. The selection of meats and sides is always incredible, fresh, flavorful, and so many great options to choose from. The service is truly the best, with staff that are attentive, fast, and always welcoming. One of the biggest perks is that they also have a private room, which makes it perfect for large parties, celebrations, or group dinners. The atmosphere is fun, and everyone always has a great time. If you want the ultimate all you can eat KBBQ experience in Houston, this is the place. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely keep coming back!
We drove over an hour to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Food and service was amazing. It gives a very cozy and relaxing vibe. The owner was extremely nice.. we will definitely be coming back.
Outstanding Korean Food & Authentic Experience If you’re looking for authentic Korean cuisine in Houston, Korea House absolutely delivers. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels traditional and welcoming—no gimmicks, just the real deal. The banchan alone set the tone: fresh, flavorful, and clearly made in-house, with the perfect balance of spice, fermentation, and crunch. Every dish we ordered was excellent, but the standouts were the BBQ meats (tender and well-marinated), the kimchi jjigae (deep, rich flavor with just the right heat), and the pork belly was the stand out, which was beautifully balanced and comforting. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff was happy to explain dishes and make recommendations—especially helpful if you’re new to Korean food. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the quality punches well above what you’d expect. This is the kind of place you keep coming back to, whether for a casual dinner or to introduce friends to real Korean cuisine.
We just celebrated our daughter's first birthday party at Korea House. We reserved the large banquet room for our 30 guests to enjoy their AYCE menu. Mr. Do (Owner/Manager) and the staff were top notch. Starting from the set up of the event until the end, they provided excellent service and accommodated all of our needs. Everyone at the party enjoyed all of the food and beverages and left with a smile on their face. I would highly recommend reserving the banquet room or any of the smaller rooms inside the restaurant for larger parties that can seat up to 10 people. The food tastes great and the service is awesome, what more could you ask for?
This is a Korean restaurant I always visit whenever I travel to Houston for business. The food is incredibly authentic and reminds me of home in Korea. The BBQ and various soups are absolutely top-notch. Excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere make the experience even better. Without a doubt, this is my favorite Korean restaurant in Houston. I always miss it when I’m away.
Korea House is a beautiful restaurant with nice ambience. The restaurant is great to accommodate any size of group. Party of 2, 4 or 8+. You name it. They can sit you. Many open tables in the hall and private rooms with door. They even have a banquet room for huge party. Korea House provides an authentic atmosphere & experience with amazing Korean dishes. Their sides (banchans) are all very yummy and the abundance of it makes you wonder how they keep bringing more & better dishes! I love their AYCE bbq as much as a variety of lunch specials. Korean restaurant is not just about galbi or bulgogi. Try their soups or ssambab set which includes a choice of meat, stone pot rice, a humongous amount of fresh lettuce/leaves/herbs/cabbage with soup & many sides. Ssambab set will shock you with amount of food they serve and impress you with wonderful tastes!
This place, I have known for years and years. They offer best Korean real authentic food in Houston. I love their side dishes (just like my mom’s) as well main dishes. You can enjoy all you can eat meats however my best choice is lunch menus. They have best healthy meals ever including town. If you have a chance to visit this place, try lunch and dinner, you never regret it!
This place has become a must do for our family. Relaxed atmosphere to hang out. The staff is always super friendl; The only issue is that sometimes they take a long time to come to the table (especially when we need the check). The food is always good. We have tried several dishes and they never dissapoint.
Beautifully decorated interior. There is so much to look at when first stepping inside. Our party of five was put into a party room and the server was attentive with our orders. The ribeye, brisket, and steak were the best tasting although truly every meat dish was seasoned well and x2 portions fed our table of five well for each round. Hope to visit again!
Amazing first experience at Korea house. We went and ordered off the normal menu and literally everything was delicious. I highly recommend the japgae, the sweet and sour spicy chicken, and the spicy pork belly. The service was amazing and everyone we interacted with was so nice. We also got our own little room which made it even more comfortable. We will definitely be back again soon to try more! The all you can eat menu definitely looked yummy and was very tempting!
Is a good AYCE Korean bbq place, they have 3 different menus and each of them has different prices, the more you pay the more meat options you get, but even if you get the cheapest menu the food taste good! Love this place from the inside We went during lunch time so it was cheaper, food was amazing service was okay; but we would still definitely be back!
Korea House is an all you can eat Korean bbq, where you have a choice from the menus as to which meats you want for the all you can eat special. They have decent choices as far as the meats go, but as far as seafood, do not bother with paying the extra for the S menu option, the shrimp was mushy, no amount of cooking could fix that shrimp, it was basically paste, which means it was way too old, the baby octopus was ok, but the squid wasn’t worth it either. The beef and pork options were spot on with flavor, quality and quantity. The appetizer wasn’t so good though, the corn was over cooked, and the rest is bland. The best of the vegetables was the cucumber. The restaurant itself is spacious and very nice, the tables give you plenty of room, and when you ring the bell, they are quick to the table to make sure you have what you need. The employees are very nice and this is very family friendly place to eat. Overall I’m very pleased with the experience.
When u first step in you will see how beautiful the decorations are in the interior. We were greeted right away from a male hostess and kindly showed us to our table. We waited a while until our waitress came. There were many menus with different prices which kinda confused me. I had to ask the waitress the difference. It would of been nice if she would explained in the beginning. The difference is the higher the price the more meat options. I could get that at another Korean BBQ with lower pricing. I believe we were suppose to be offered soup and nothing. Our order came out and it was ok, but they did provide good amount of meat. The waitress never came around and ask if we wanted more meat or refills etc. We always had to stop her and ask. The meat had no flavor even though it said marinated etc. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. This restaurant was ok, but not coming back.
Do not go here!!!!!!!!! Here’s my story !!! I went there on Monday 3/2/26. I’m not saying we didn’t waste any food , I know we did with few pieces of the meat but let’s be honest which AYCE you go to that we don’t order something we never have before in my case ( beef intestine and tripe ) we place a order of each to try it out and we find out that’s not something we like and we didn’t finish the rest as you can see in the picture probably like 3-4 pieces of each . Personally I think it’s responsible. The server we have was have a bad day or something he’s like you have to finish everything we order if not we gonna be charge extra not to say I never seen the sign like that in other ayce place but as long as the waste is reasonable, there won’t be any charge like that actually being charged to any of the clients. But idk what this server of the place is thinking saying that we wasted too much that we have to pay extra money . Don’t waste your money or time to go here I will definitely put 0 stars if there’s a option for it 😡😡😡😡😡 Edit in response to the owner’s comment: I am actually a manager at A Japanese barbecue restaurant in Houston. Each day I witness and deal with the same situation and never had had this experience mishandled inappropriately. I asked to speak to a manager when I was there because the 4-5 pieces wouldn’t be considered wasteful at any restaurants I’ve encountered in the past. I was told the manager was a Korean older lady that doesn’t speak English. I was told by the server while I was taking photos to make sure to take photos of the menu bottom that have the little print saying if we waste “any food we will be charged extra” . This was so unprofessional and disrespectful. The owner is now saying this is a misunderstanding and they want me to come back to spend another $100? No thank you! Good luck running this business with unprofessional servers and overcharging your clients.
Had high expectations for this establishment based off the reviews and the photos of the interior. Got greeted and seated quickly by the nice older gentleman, and well it went downhill from there. The older lady who was our sever was right down passive aggressive at times. She made us feel like we were inconvenience to eat there. My whole family left hungry cause at one point we were waiting 10+ mins for refills. The worst of it all? The lady snapped at my husband for a tip! He had to get up and look for her to pay and she had the nerve to get upset and ask for a tip! Insane!!
The scenery and atmosphere when you first arrive are great—definitely a nice first impression. However, the experience quickly went downhill. For a Saturday night, I was surprised that they closed at 11PM but announced last call at 9:30PM. I could understand if my table had been there for hours, but I didn’t even arrive until 8:00PM—that’s just arrival, not waiting or ordering. Our waitress, who was older, seemed rushed and disengaged. She would drop off food without checking in or asking if we needed anything. We had to ask several times just to get refills of water. When it came time for the check, she brought only one bill without asking if we wanted to split it, even though it was clear that everyone came separately. The food itself was pretty underwhelming for the price. The Korean BBQ was just okay—I’ve had better at other locations—and the boneless wings were disappointing, more like dry chicken tenders than actual wings. On top of that, the prices didn’t match what was shown on the menu, which made the whole experience feel overpriced for the quality and service. Also, a heads-up: if you don’t like one of the meats, you’re still required to finish it before ordering something else, which feels unnecessary and takes away from the dining experience. Overall, the setting was nice, but the service, pricing, and food quality didn’t live up to expectations. I wouldn’t recommend this location, especially with so many better Korean BBQ spots around.
