I don’t usually review, but they totally deserve this! Can’t wait to dine in and try all their varieties! 😍🙌

An Authentic Nepalese Gem – A Must-Visit! I can confidently say Momo Houses is the real deal. The flavours are rich, authentic, and bursting with traditional spices. Portions are big, and the staff are incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. It truly feels like a home away from home. I recently took my host along, and she absolutely fell in love with the place. It was a joy to see someone new experience such genuine hospitality and incredible food. One important note: please respect the kitchen hours. Calling ahead is basic courtesy, and turning up at 9:25 PM with 10 guests unannounced is unacceptable. If it were up to me, I’d turn you away in a heartbeat! A place this special deserves to be treated with the same respect it offers every guest.

Just tried the Chicken Kothey Momo at Momo House, and wow – absolutely amazing! 🔥 Crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside – it had that perfect authentic Nepali taste I’ve been craving. The spices were just right, and the dipping sauce took it to the next level. If you’re a momo lover, this place is a must-try. 🥟💯 Highly recommend for anyone looking for real, authentic momos!

I had the soup momo and mixed chowmein here, and both were absolutely amazing—especially the soup momo! The flavors were rich, and the broth was incredibly comforting. If you’re dining in, this is a must-try. Highly recommend

I along with my husband recently visited Momo house during our vacation. As we live in Vancouver Canada its almost impossible to get water buffalo momo. We really loved the momo and other foods here. They have the authentic taste from Nepal. Staffs were very welcoming and friendly. Loved their service and humbleness. Also the ambience gave us the vibes of Nepali culture that we miss here. Overall, we loved everything here hands down. 🫶 If you are around Houston then you must not skip this place for Best Nepalese food.

Fuego alert 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 The waitress was super helpful and sweet. She guided this Nepalese food newbie to an awesome lunch. The water buffalo steamed momos were packed with spices and bursting with flavor. They're served with an orange momo sauce that complements well but they go even better with the spicy sauce if you can handle it. (Not "american spicy") lol The pan fried chili chicken momos are packed with a similar spice blend and imo pair better with the creamier momo sauce. The meal was rounded out with a nice creamy and slightly sweet matar paneer curry chock full of lush green peas. Highly recommend this spot and will be back to try out the rest of the menu.

Highly recommended! Their Momos are amazing! I had never had Nepalese specialty food, momos, which are sort of like dumplings but I had heard good reviews and got multiple recommendations from Nepalese friends. We ordered Vegetarian momos with spicy chilli flavour and pan fried chicken momos. Additionally, we ordered vegetarian and chicken thaalis/platters. The momos were amazing. I am not a big chicken eater but i really enjoyed the chicken momos with spicy sauces.

Truly authentic Nepali food and feel. The look from the outside and the decor inside also gave a homely feel. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was just too good. They have a stage setup for live music, open mike and is also karaoke available. 👍👍👌👌

We went on Christmas Day. Some items were not available. There were only a few vegetarian options, but more non-vegetarian ones. The place was good. The veg momos could have been better, but they weren’t bad. The service wasn’t too bad either. The soya added on Chowmein was the best in taste. Need to go again another day. Overall, the food was good.

Tried the Steam Momos and they were amazing with the Awsome spicy sauce, also tried Chicken choila (made with spices from himalayas) had a different and nice flavour. Amazing service and explained us about the dish and asked our preference on spice level.

Had a lunch of momos and fried rice. Of all really liked the lemonade. It was specially made not by just pouring in syrups and juices, but was fresh, frothy and with good tones of herbs blended into it. The fried rice is also good. It had some soy/bamboo ingredient which was different from tofu, it was almost meaty/chewy for a plant based ingredient.

Unfortunately, my experience at Momo House didn't meet the expectations set by the recommendations I received. The (buff) momo was noticeably dry (28 Oct) and aloo tama seemed to lack the authentic flavours I was hoping for. it appeared more like a simple tomato soup with (lots of) chilies and few tama slices rather than the anticipated dish. The staff was courteous but the food quality was disappointing. I believe with some adjustments Momo House can live up to the great recommemdations it receives.

I tried the their steam chicken momo..I don’t know what watery transparent liquid was in there, it ruined the entire taste. This was my first and last order. I threw it off. Wasted my money. See in the picture, what is this watery thing bitter in taste, may be vinegar?
