I have been going here for years and now my kids love it. The food is on point every time and everything we have tried so far has met expectations. Service is great, they are always friendly. The food comes out quick and is also fresh.
Great food. Always friendly service. Not expensive. Perfect spot!
The owners are very friendly. They definently appreciate the community that supports them. Everyone gets greeted warmly. The food is delicious. Its about to start getting cooler so I'm excited for the pho
It is my first time and the experience was amazing. This is a family-owned business and everyone is very cute here. The waitress lady is very sweet and attentive. The Bun Bo Hue was alright. Spring Roll was good. Soda Chanh Muoi was very tasty and refreshing. It is my first meal of the day and everything was beautiful.
Had the best experience here! the owner/server greeted everyone while I was there, complimented and made sure we were familiar with everything! Aside from the service the food was also phenomenal. I tried the salty lemonade which was amazing both sweet and tangy, the pho with every meat, the broth was rich and flavorful not requiring any additions besides the sprouts and jalapeños. Lastly, the com ta which was delicious, the rice was both sweet and savory delivering an amazing flavor, the vegetables were fresh, and the meat was incredibly well seasoned.
Again, pho-addict here… this one blew my mind… very good Pho! Authentic flavor, rich, dense and well balanced! 100% recommended, so far I only had the combination beef pho, with flank, brisket and a 3rd option i didn’t remember atm… need to come back to try the Bahn Mi and the Spring Rolls, also the vegan or veggie pho. This pho is a 8.9 on my scale! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
My Fav spot in Bellaire Tx . Good food options, fast service! Food taste so amazing their prices are reasonable for the food. I always get the shrimp pho with a side of beef spring rolls & an iced tea . Great combination. Lunch is busy but service & staff are amazing ppl! I come here very often 😋
We ordered the tofu spring rolls which had a yummy spicy peanut sauce. I had tofu vermicelli which had this blackened tofu and fresh veggies (not on the menu but they made it for me). My uncle had the curry chicken vermicelli which he also loved. Got a Vietnamese coffee for the road which was the perfect combo of sweet and rich coffee flavor. I’d def come here again! Enjoy full pics of the menus. Good value for the price!
Pho Vn 21 is a phenomenal restaurant with fast takeout, good portion sizes, great prices, and generous servings of protein. I ordered the large #18 pho which included eye round steak, soft tendon, fatty brisket, and well done flank. The hostess was very kind. Food came out in about 10 minutes nicely wrapped. When I opened the to-go box, I was excited to see big portions of each of the meats that were included. My pet peeve in pho is when they don't give you a good ratio of noodles and meat, or when they give you a very uneven portion of each of the included proteins so that you're left wishing there was just a little more of one of them. They did a great job of including a healthy helping of each! They also included a generous amount of Thai basil, cilantro, onions, green onion, jalapeño, bean sprouts, and the premixed hoisin/Sriracha sauce. I could tell that each of the ingredients were very fresh, especially the vegetables - slightly surprising too given that I had ordered near closing time. Although the broth in the container was still too hot to handle, I opted to bring it to a boil in a pot anyway to ensure everything was heated well in the bowl. After pouring, I started with a spoonful of broth - it was very smooth and packed with flavor, but also still nice and light at the same time. I think this may have been because the majority of the flavor came from the robust aromatics and oil that were infused in the broth, which complemented the depth and savoriness of the clear beef broth very well. Interestingly, the broth was also sweeter than most other broths I have had, but in a good balanced way that combined well with the other flavors. I ended up liking the broth so much that I didn't bother adding anything else in it. The jalapeños added a nice mild spicy kick, which I loved as I prefer things spicy Overall, this was an amazing bowl of pho packed with flavor and served in a generous portion, especially for takeout. And for only $8? It's almost too good to be true. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try.
It was a nice restaurant with vegetarian menu! Vegetarian soup can be improved a bit more but I enjoyed the food there! Keep up your good work! :)
Small comfortable place for excellent Pho. I had the #1 combo which is a small pho soup and 2 spring rolls and a drink. I was fast and hot and delicious. The only problem we had was that our server did not write anything down and one of our orders was wrong, however it was quickly corrected. Nothing fancy but the place is clean and homey. Great place to relax and enjoy good food. It was so good I forgot to take picture before I started so all I have is the evidence of my meal.
This place has became one of our family go to's. We used to get our Bánh mìs in China Town, but our spot got closed down. We found this spot and have been eating here for years. Their Bánh mì, Pho, and Spring Rolls are delicious!!! There is only one little con for me: I wish their bread was toasted and crispy, but they are really really good regardless.
This was our first time here, the waiters were okay not the best. The price of the combo we ordered was a perfect meal for one person. Overall i wouldn't really recommend to someone because of service.
Small cozy restaurant. Gets packed during lunch even the parking. The menu was bilingual had English, Viet, and Spanish on it. They make their own bread in house for the banh mi. I got the Che and I don’t think it was the best I’ve ever had. It had too much ice in it for me to enjoy the jelly in it, felt like I was chewing on crushed ice the whole time with coconut milk. The banh mi was ok it wasn’t memorable. I also got the yellow curry with bread. It wasn’t what I expected but it wasn’t terrible. It wasnt as rich as other yellow curries I’ve had before. I will say the chicken and carrots were tender and tasty. At the end you do go up front to pay when they give you your bill.
I really love pho, and I've been here a couple times and it was just okay but this time; and I really hate saying this- it was just bad. The flavor was all wrong, bland but strangely sweet in an unpleasant way, and they only gave me one hoisin and one Sriracha for a large soup, with an additional bowl of broth on the side; which is just annoying and clearly a cheapskate move. Very disappointed to spend $20 on that I something took 2 bites of and poured down the sink. The man there however was very polite, but politeness doesn't make poorly food taste any better...
A Disappointing Change at a Place We Once Loved For almost a year, Pho Vn 21 was one of our favorite places to eat. We came here regularly, enjoyed the food, and even recommended it to friends. The staff had always been warm and welcoming until our most recent visit. We arrived well before closing, yet were reminded three separate times constantly, that they closed at 9:00pm. At first, we brushed it off and assured them we would be mindful. By the third time, it no longer felt like a friendly reminder, it felt like we were being rushed out repeatedly. What made it worse was seeing other families still enjoying their meals without the same pressure. The repeated rushing ruined the experience for my partner, who decided not to eat her meal at all. When we explained this, we were initially told we still had to pay for it, even though it was untouched. Only after some back-and-forth was the charge removed. It’s sad when a place you’ve supported for so long makes you feel unwelcome. I truly hope this review encourages the team to reflect, so no other loyal customer leaves feeling the way we did. Unfortunately, this visit was our last.
I never expected to leave Pho Vn 21 feeling unwelcome. We’ve had so many good meals here that it had become a comfort spot for us. But this last visit left me wondering if the place I loved is the same place I walked into tonight. The moment we sat down, we were “greeted” by the waitress that they were closing soon. No big deal, we told them we understood and we’d already planned to eat quickly. But the reminders didn’t stop. By the time the same point was made for the third time, it was impossible to ignore. The food was on the table, but our appetite wasn’t there anymore. My meal stayed untouched. That led to an awkward conversation about whether it still needed to be paid for, which only made things feel worse. They eventually let it go, but the easy, relaxed energy I used to associate with this restaurant was gone. What stings even more is learning afterward that other diners have experienced similar treatment near closing time. It’s disheartening to see this might be part of a larger pattern. I hope they change it, because it’s sad to lose trust in a place you once recommended so often. Unfortunately, I won’t be recommending this place anymore.
