Neils moved. Downtown is lost. Notsuoh charges 15 a drink. Montrose is dead. We survive as we can. We stay open. The drinks stay cheap. We meet in whatever bar welcomes us The nerd became the hipster who became industry then had to move because the hipsters jacked up rent. Yes some things are lost. They don't karaoke punk songs anymore just aha and flyleaf. The ping pong table is gone. At the end of the day some things are lost and some remain. Neils managed to remember what should remain: cheap drinks, good people, acceptance and bartenders who remember your drink and name.

A Houston legend! Always heard amazing stories about this place. Was biking in the area and was showing my sons where it was, and some of stories about the place. Neil himself came out, and welcomed us in for cold beverages. While I don't drink any more, he hooked us up with Red Bulls and a Sprite and we got to enjoy the amazing atmosphere. Amazing folks, truly hospitable. A slice of Americana circa 1975-1995 ish. Come check this place out and support these amazing folks.

Nerds unite! This bar has it all - The Simpson’s, a wall of Comics, and great tunes! The staff is very friendly and it feels very welcoming. The taco truck outside is also ffffantastic. ( so yummy)

This was our first time at the new location and all i can say is WOW. Ive been an on and off regular for ages now, yall had only been open maybe 2 years the first time. The new location is perfect! Can't wait to go back!

Neil's always has been and always will be a nerd staple. I've been going since they first opened the old location, and it has always been one of the few "go to" bars for me. The new building is much cleaner and longer/roomier, but it DID lose some of the "homey" feeling that the old location had. Another thing is that it's literally right next to active train tracks. So be prepared for trains to go by from time to time. Also, unlike the old location, it's not within walking distance to any other cool bars or restaurants. But there IS a really good food truck in the parking lot most of the time, so that helps. Parking overall is better than at the old location. It still fills up if you get there too late, but it's not as bad as before.

When my wife, my friend and I were doing research in places to go in Houston especially with my wife and I being huge gamers and huge nerds Neil's Bahr was one of the places that was recommended to us. We were definitely not disappointed . My wife and I are not really bar people but the the biggest thing I do appreciate about the place is how much it felt like being at a really great house party at a friends house. There are plenty of things to do with regards to your personal interests. There are plenty of video games to play and board games to indulge in. There is definitely something in the bar that will cater to your nostalgia. More importantly, it was nice to be in a place where you could have a conversation and everybody that seemed to be there was genuinely positive and incredibly welcoming. Major respect to the bar staff for being incredibly friendly and accommodating and giving great recommendations for a bunch of Canadians that have little to no experience when it comes to American alcohol. They were even nice enough to give us a list of great places to visit in Houston during the rest of our vacation there. Hope to visit one last time before our vacation ends.

This place was great across the board. I mean this bar is unique in that. The second you step into it. It feels like you got invited to your friend's basement party where everyone is cool with each other. If you grew up in the 80's or 90's in the States you will get a feel of nostalgia and if you aren't American it looks like a set from a movie in that era. The bartenders are approachable and helpful. The entire atmosphere feels chill and friendly. If I'm ever in EADO I will def pass through there.

Once we walked into the bar we were greeted by a bartender that goes by the name grandpa. Such a nice gentleman. He had us laughing once we met him. Great atmosphere and highly recommend this place for a good drink

Great bar with a great selection of drinks! Very unique artwork on the wall and lots of cool vintage video games/comics. They have cool events occasionally as well!

One of my only go-to bars in the city. Very chilled out atmosphere with a friendly and skilled staff behind the counter. They offer good specials throughout the week, and be it the food on the patio or the food truck in their lot, they always have good eating options. Quiz nights and movie nights are fun too. Great place to go play old consoles, arcade games or even a 3D game of ping pong. Great for fellow nerds.

Online order- everything was accurate, order was ready on time, the top is slightly burnt but for $3 can't really complain

Ordered a simple pepperoni and it was ready relatively quick. The staff are nice and polite and the pizza was nice and hot when given to me.

The pizza was ridiculous, it felt like a frozen Pizza was heated up. I usually order from Pizza Hut & they have a distinct pizza taste and style. This branch was NOT IT. Very bad. I’d honestly never write the review if it wasn’t as bad as I’m saying.

I ordered a stuff crust pepperoni pizza and wings. The pizza was half cut and the wings tasted burnt. I tried to eat it but it was extra chewy. My dig didn’t even want it I called the store several times that day but didn't get an answer. I called again the next day just to be told it was nothing they could because it was yesterday. I asked to speak to the manger and was told they were gone on a bank run. The lady took my name and number for the manager to call me back when they got back. No phone call back I tried calling the store back but was hung up on when I ask to speak to the manager.

I honestly wish i could have given this place zero stars. I’ll let them have the 1 star because they did try to make it right. I ordered a pizza with extra meat and extra cheese and it didn’t come with either! The manager was kind and gave me a store credit for my order. Fast forward to a week after and ordered again and unsurprisingly it was not correct either. First of all i ordered a $12 pizza that was $20 and was made incorrectly AGAIN. It had the extra cheeese but not the extra meat and i didn’t get my garlic dip. Also, this order was delivered by a door dash driver who had her boyfriend or whoever he was driving her and my food wasn’t sealed. Needless to say i didn’t even eat it. Money down the drain. Do not waste your money here. The incompetence is at an all time high in this store. The pic is from the first pizza they messed up. The second one went in the trash

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! I’m so Disappointed. I waited close to 2 hours for ONE pizza. I live just 9 minutes away from this store! Dried out and Luke warm pizza. There are a lot of reviews stating the service and delivery time is atrocious. Isn’t corporate or the store going to do anything about this? You’re charging customers for a service and food that is absolutely not worth it. If you’re short staffed then reduce the radius for delivery to get deliveries in time or cross train people while hiring. I hope the store gets better, but for me I’m never going to order from Pizza Hut again.

The delivery person called us and asked us to come to her car. She said she was short staffed and had a lot of deliveries to make and didn't feel like getting out their car. When I got back home, our pizza was under distress to say the least. The picture is exactly how the pizza looked when we first opened the box. We've ordered from here a few times. It's been the same poor service. This will be the last time we order from here again.

Yolanda was very rude. The other manager was helpful. She instantly got an attitude with me over the phone. I spoke with another manager that was willing to help fix the issue with my order. Yolanda basically called me a liar and was very rude over the phone.

ordered two pizzas, wings, Diet Coke breadsticks. Delivery was made. Pizza was so soggy. bread sticks were not delivered. They sent a regular Pepsi instead of a diet. This is a terrible service.

Bar itself is really cool. As far as customer service, trash. They just know how to take orders and make drinks; no hospitality whatsoever.

The lady at the bar was very rude soon as she asked for ID. After we were inside and settled in, a friend in my group wanted a soda and was asked for ID(I understand it's protocol) and told us the bouncer was outside to check ID's. After we explained their was no bouncer she told us he would be here in 10 minutes. We all just decided to leave and afterwards she kept saying rude comments to my friends about the situation like it was their fault.
