Came here on a Thursday evening with my wife, there are a few tables but its not too busy. Ordered 4 items and paid at the counter, water is self serve and the food came out very fast. Everything tasted amazing, the beef with rice and tripe in red chili oil tasted just like my aunts cooking in China. My wife liked the beef noodle soup and curry beef too.

I had the beef curry it was so delicious. Everything here is self service but the staffs are friendly. Tips are not required in here but I definitely would be back and willing to give tips because of their food and their nice service.

Really a hidden gem at Bellaire. The restaurant is of good vibe, got sweet light and decors. The beef fried rice is truly what should be called a fried rice. It’s firm and tasty. Also my friend’s signature braised beef noodles is phenomenal. The beef is super tender and the broth is rice. A little bit spicy but should be fine for most people. Would definitely come back again

I’m so excited to see a new restaurant opened at Metropole Center. I have been waiting for Qilu Beef Soup for few months since I saw the sign on the building. It’s right next to Jusgo Supermarket. I like this location because it has plenty of parking and convenient to get in. The entrance is on the side, not facing the parking lot. Front of the house has logical layout. I particularly like the counter order because it gives me a street-food vendor feel. I ordered Mixed Beef Offal Soup 牛杂汤 and Flatbread 火烧 for my first time because I was craving for clear beef soup. The soup was very tasty and there were plenty of meats. I like the different textures in the soup. I’ll be sure to try the noodle soup and hot pot next time.

Dec 2024: came here for a simple light dinner. Both braised stew noodle 🍜 and delight beef soup are light. clean neat environment, feels as the nowadays modern noodle house in Asia. The food is quite authentic, the price is quite reasonable as well. The competition in this stripe mall is getting fierce!

good. don't know exactly what to say, but I am pretty sure they use no SMG and such, beef hot pot is okey, beef soup is more than okey, beef meat pie is great. pricing feels like their local space time is 2 years behind on inflation not many vege, that's worth mentioning for a bit

The beef noodle soup is excellent. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the beef is tender. Definitely one of the best I’ve had.

Came here for the supermarket next door and saw this place. Very authentic taste, great prices. Will definitely be back to try there other items. The curry beef rice and there beef noodles are definitely a good choice

I ordered the Signature Braised Beef Noodle soup and the braised pig ear; both were delicious, with large portion size. The beef was tender and in large chunks, the broth was flavorsome and filling without being too oily, the noodles were fresh and bouncy, and the pig ear was perfectly cooked and the sauce was great. I usually prefer the Taiwanese version of niu rou mian because of the pickled mustard greens, but the soup here is hongshao/mainland Chinese style, and honestly I liked it just as much as my favorite Taiwanese version. Will definitely be frequenting this place in the future, especially on chilly days when I'm craving my favorite dish.

Chinese style beef noodle soup. The food is fresh and delicious; the beef is tender, the soup is very tasty. The price is reasonable, great value. The double beef platter is a little too salty. The restaurant is clean and the parking is easy. I will definitely come back soon.

I enjoyed this place! It’s kind of fast casual style where you order up front and then grab a seat. This was our order: -Baked Flatbread (pork bc they were out of beef). Not a lot of meat. Wanted it to be either more toasted or flakey. Bread was more just chewy and a little mushy in parts. -Mixed cold dish: spicy shredded potato, fried peanuts, cold cabbage. Really good. Recommend getting this to add some veggies to the meal. -Signature Braised Beef Noodles: this was really big serving. We each got a whole order. I would consider next time mixing up and sharing one bowl together because it is so large. Great beefy flavor with umami, soy flavor, and spices. You can taste the star anise and the mix if earthy spices. It’s not spicy, but if you want you can add chili oil from the table. The noodles were perfectly cooked and very QQ. Overall, fun place. Some inconsistencies, but honestly am excited to go back and try the other offerings.

The menu is also has enough variety to keep you coming back to try new dishes. Normally, I would give this overall rating for food alone a three star, but considering the value, ambiance and authentic experience, I bumped it up to a four.

I like the soup but nothing special comparing to Pho soup. The beef stew taste ok but the rice is too rough. The price is cheap, I would recommend if you want to have a simple lunch or dinner. When I went there they were still in soft opening so it's not organized very well. I had waited for 20min and there was no seats😆

The noodles and meat were pretty good and a solid amount. The issue I had was the flavor itself I just wasn't a fan of.

Anyway the mean focus was food, the Mixed beef offal soup tasted quite nice, good amount of content, flavourful soup, overall nice! but the good thing stopped there. My wife got the signatured braised beef noodles, the soup is flavorless, the beef was tough, and the noodles lack flavour and texture. beef backed flatbread is too doughy and not enough fillings. cold beef salad didnt tast like anything, too much raw onion and not enough meat. shredded potato and cabbage is too salty. Pickled garlic is just so so, not worth $5. So overall, the offal soup is good, but everything else missed the mark. not recommended.

So we actually drink all the soup but didn’t touch the beef. Beef pancakes are fine. Beef fried rice is a okay dish, no big difference as any other restaurants. My husband took the curry beef and throw out 3 hours later and got stomach pain all night long. Don’t recommend

First time here and got disappointed. We ordered their signature beef soup but was nasty, the soup itself it’s salty water, nothing special, but the beef smells and tastes old, not fresh. So we actually drink all the soup but didn’t touch the beef. Beef pancakes are fine. Beef fried rice is a okay dish, no big difference as any other restaurants. My husband took the curry beef and throw out 3 hours later and got stomach pain all night long. Don’t recommend

The soup lacked the richness of real meat and tasted more like diluted beef broth. My friends and I found ourselves drinking a lot of water afterward, which really says something about how salty the meal was. It’s disappointing to see the quality decline so noticeably. I definitely will not recommend this restaurant anymore.
