We just randomly chose this place while in town. Best decision ever. I had the creamy pesto with chicken and my coworker had the salmon in lemon basil. Both were amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Rivas Italian Restaurant was a great way to begin my NYE!!! Located in the Montrose area, this restaurant is known for having tons of Christmas lights throughout the entire restaurant. With its popularity on TikTok and other platforms, I am so glad I gave them a try! The owners and servers are so nice, they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. This was my second time visiting the restaurant since the food is so delicious! They do Italian the right way, flavors are on point with every bite. I have not been disappointed from their holiday menu because everything is so good! The portions served are enough for two. I highly recommend this spot for home style Italian cooking and festive lighting, it’s perfect for a date with someone special or even just for your friends and family. Thank you Rivas for a fantastic NYE dinner! I look forward to dinning again this year!

My husband and I visited here for 1st time for Sunday brunch. Loved the Christmas Decorations! The Eggs Benefit was delish and the service was great. We'll have to visit more often. A++ *Note as per their phone message says they don't accept children under 13 and parties bigger than 6 people will have split tables.

Very unique place. Cool to visit one time. We went during the holidays so decorated adorable. Not pricey at all just surprised at the reversed way the meal came. I'm Italian and cook all the time. Was craving chicken franchise. Very surprised at what I got. I wanted classic style and in the pic is what I got. Tasted ok. Not bad but different. Sauce on the side as well. 3 stars. Nothing to rave about.

I was recommended this place by friends and it was a worthwhile visit. We were able to order our meal pretty easily, the decision was difficult to make as there are so many appetizing entrees but we managed to narrow down our choices and ordered the Beef Ravioli and Veal San Pietro. All entrees come with a soup and salad and garlic bread. The soup for the day was a vegetable soup and was so delicious, I almost picked up the bowl and drank it. I didn't ask what the salad was but it came with ranch and an in house sauce which were both delicious with the salad. I'd say the garlic bread has a little too much of whatever makes plain bread turn into garlic bread but that didn't stop me from eating more than 3 pieces of it, dipping it in my entree's sauce and whatnot. The entrees were great. I wouldn't have been able to eat them on my own entirely. The ravioli was everything I could have wanted and more. The veal San Pietro didn't hit for me as it did for others (3 people ordered it at our table) and that's fine. I'd still recommend trying it because everyone else said it was pretty good. The food filled us up and left us satisfied. I'd come back and try more when I can. As for customer service, overall pretty decent. I didn't notice anything out of place about it. The food arrived in a timely manner and they checked on us enough. One of the employees came over and doused our food in cheese and followed it with some innuendos which was fine since we're all adults. It added to the vibe.

This place is a bit big for a hole in the wall. A neighborhood gem for sure. It could use a bit of a cleanup. The service is outstanding. The food is very good. We ordered the Shrimp Scampi (sautéed) 5/5, Chicken Picatta 5/5, Cannelloni 4.5/5, and crème brûlée cheese cake 5/5. The prices are great too.

We love Rivas. It’s a cute little homey restaurant that I believe is family owned. The main guy is always cool and sweet and always makes my Baha. We love because you get a lot of food for your money. I don’t believe anything is over $25 if that. You get Sam’s and soup and unlimited garlic bread with your entree. I also like that they don’t list it but they have vegan options. I definitely recommend this place for vegans. This is always great for a last minute or random date night when your in the car and decide you don’t feel like cooking. All together with both entrees and a drink and tip I spent $70

Dinner at this festively decorated traditional Italian eatery! Very warming and welcoming! Dirty Martinis are🤌🏽 Entees come with Souo & Sald. Lentil soup 🍲 delicious! I wish they would do Italion Seasonings on plate with Olive oil, but garlic butter toast was tasty. Baked Ziti so cheesy!

Food war great, but service was not the best. Took 15 to get it waiter, when we ordered our drink, it took almost 20 minutes. We got our salad before we got our drink. Also be ready for other parts that will tell you in the menu.

Came here last night because I heard they put Christmas decor. They did have some stuff but not everything the guy was even working to put up the decor! So it’s coming I will definitely be back! I got the véal piccata and my friend got cheese pasta with bacon everything was delicious and the service was very friendly and will definitely be back later in Dec for all the Christmas decor!

It has its own decent-sized parking lot. When we went it we were immediately greeted and sat down. Had multiple staff ask if we needed help with anything off the menu so we never had to wait for assistance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. That’s honestly one of the reasons why I would come back. The food was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had fettuccine that delicious. I had strawberry lemonade and it was also very good. I’m excited to come back to this restaurant. The only thing I would say is that I wish they gave regular napkins instead of the thick black ones.

Very very overrated and over priced. $70 for two large bowls of noodles with sauce. Bland salad. Watery sauce and for sure not home made noodles. Charging such high prices is for the quality of food is actually criminal. They also don’t allow sharing of entrees despite not even being an all you can eat place. Also an automatic 20% gratuity for a party larger than 5 which is a high percentage on already over priced food. I would not recommend this place to anyone to be honest. Even Olive Garden is much better for the money than this place.

Told me I wasn’t allowed to eat there because of my shellfish allergy. When I asked about salad the owner said “no we won’t serve any food” and walked away and never came back. What kind of restaurant doesn’t accommodate to allergies? Maybe if the people there were kind or personable I wouldn’t have rated one star. Oh well!! Be kind.

I had my hopes high for this place. The Christmas decor was very nice and festive! We were seated quick and the drinks and food came pretty fast. The menu says only 90 minutes is allowed for guests to stay on their table and that's fine. I came here with my 5 girlfriends to celebrate birthdays for two of my friends. This was mentioned to our wait staff and other staff that works there. There was NO acknowledgment from any of the staff! The worst part was we were literally asked to leave because there were people waiting, (exact words from the manager, I believe). The way it was said was so hastened! We were only there for only 10 mins passed the 90 minutes that this place required of their customers. And this is not a cheap place either! Well, needless to say, my girlfriends and I will not be going back and I'll make sure to let everyone I know about Riva's!
