I’ve been a Snap customer for a while but I never tried their meal plans until now. The app makes it easy to choose your meals and schedule pick up! They also added Bison Shepherds Pie, Barbacoa & corn and kept my favs like Naked beef and Naked Salmon. I will admit that sometimes I used to suffer through a few of their meals but now I can’t find one I don’t like!
Very pleased with this gluten-free facility. Passing through on a road trip and this place was a great find for my celiac spouse. The whole family found healthy and delicious options, even mac and cheese for the kiddo! Everything is packed and ready to grab and go but there are also microwaves and tables if you want to eat in.

I've been going to this Snap location since 2020. Everyone working there is incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. All of the meals in my weekly pickup order last the entire week and taste delicious!
I have to applaud them because their meals used to be…not the best. But in recent months, they have gotten SO delicious! Way tastier than any other meal service I’ve tried in Houston. The flavors are on point now and I love how they have more options inspired by different types of cuisines.

Love this revamped menu. It’s been a few years since I’ve checked this place out as there is so much premade-meals competition out there but judging by their new menu I am certain I will be stopping by here more often. Plus they have friendly and helpful staff (say hi to Jess for me!) - perfect for hermits like me who forget to recharge thru human-to-human interaction.
I love Snap Kitchen! The meals have tons of flavor, and my husband and I love that we don’t have to ever think about what to make for dinner. We have meals delivered Monday mornings and have them for dinner during the work week. It’s also a great way to stay healthy without meal prepping.

Delicious! I love the variety of the meals and that they are good for me. Not having to cook makes me very happy! Just a little feedback...1. sometimes the meals are too spicy for me 2. the parsley garnish is posh, but I seem to get more parsely stems than leaves, and that is not posh at all. thanks Snap!
We love almost everything about snap kitchen! The food is amazing, convenient, and brought straight to our door. We only wish the portions were slightly bigger but typically add a side like avocado, more veggies, or a post dinner fruit and yogurt to feel satiated.

It’s a decent place to pick up quick lunch meal during work hours. It’s a light meal but even after heating it, it did not look fresh, looked like it was refrigerated for a while.The burrito chicken bowl was okay. It’s alright but not something to go back to! Not too many options and the salad bowl did not look too fresh.

I have been a loyal customer of snap kitchen for over a year now. I live in Beaumont so I do meal delivery every week. I relay on this service for healthy food for myself and my boyfriend who has health issues. I pay over $500 a month for this. And this is what I get. An absolute joke of a company. Not only is the delivery 5 days late, the ice packs are completely melted and the food has been sloppily tossed in the box. This isn’t the first time this has happened. It’s not even the second time. The delivery speed and packaging has been a constant issue. Food quality has gone down too. I have tried multiple times to bring this issue to their attention and I’m told the same thing every time. My boyfriend has spoken to them as well. They say they can’t control the delivery speed. Okay…. So if I set the delivery date for a certain time and I’m paying $130 every week for this I expect it arrive on time. And if not, I expect to at least receive an email telling me to expect a delay. Has that ever happened? Nope. They don’t care. They even increased prices sometime last year, can’t remember when exactly. They have terrible customer service. Oh, btw they only gave us 11 meals… not 12. Not sure what to do for food now. As a loyal, paying customer I really expect better.

If you like doing business with robots then go ahead. I contacted them way before my order even shipped asking them to please move my order to the following week due to the fact that I had to go out of town to deal with a family medical emergency. Things happen in life and they are stressful enough to deal with. I did not want a box full of food to be left to rot in front of my door in Houston’s summer heat for 5 days. I simply asked as a one time thing to move my order to next week due to extra ordinary circumstances… this is the first time I have ever felt with such a heartless company. They absolutely did not care about the situation and told me that even though the food was not going to be shipped for days it didn’t matter they wouldn’t budge and won’t move the delivery date. I’m a business owner as well and I always try to help my customers and be understanding. Snap kitchen is all about hiding behind certain policies and they do not care of their customers need a little help in case something unexpected happens to them. I did not ask for a refund, simply to ship it later. I was told a categoric NO! So I cancel my subscription and a box of food will rot in front of my door for the next 5 days while I’m in the hospital with a family member … thanks Snap kitchen , I will NEVER give them my business again.
They have a good variety of foods and are on the right track however, 95% of all meals are extremely high in sodium. They say it’s so the food can have a longer shelf life because salt is a natural preservative. However, when most of your meals have over 1000 mg of sodium each I would trade a shorter shelf life for a healthier, lower sodium meal. A diet high in sodium can lead to a host of health problems. Sadly, someone who has high blood pressure cannot enjoy these meals. MyFitFoods has figured this balance out. My hope is that snap kitchen can learn from MyFitFoods because it would be nice to have more places to choose healthy meals from.
Last week 2 of my meals were spoiled before the expiration date. The food smelled when you opened the container. I called and they gave me a credit for the 2 meals. Went back today to give it a second try. Here I am up at 3am sick to my stomach from another meal spoiled before the expiration date. I’m done with SNAP kitchen.
So disappointed in this location. I purchased my meal prep through their third party service called Too good to go; got there before closing and one of the employees had my food in his hand and said I missed the pick up time and said I’ll have to dispute it with Too Good To Go. He was taking MY FOOD that I PAID for simply because I missed the time window but made it before closing. Very bad business practice and poor customer service.
My family has been a customer for over 3 years and we order meal almost every day. Over the years we spent a lot of money here . It was good in the past but I believe for the last couple of months something happened in management or they might change the kitchen . I really don’t know. I am saying this because since the beginning of the pandemic in March, I experienced on few occasions ‘foreign items ‘ in my meals. I contact Snap Kitchen manager from the location that I purchased the weekly meal. The manager was very polite and nice and offered to refund the meal and cancel the weekly plan. I also had questions about : where is the food processed , washed , cooked, is the meat organic, where Is the place where it is cooked ( as on Snap kitchen website there is no information about that ). The store manager didn’t have info about all above but referred me to the general kitchen operation manager. I never spoke with him directly but he left me a voicemail saying that he closed the investigation case and found out the ‘ foreign item ‘ was a cleaning product from their kitchen and they took measures so that will not happen again. I had far more questions but I didn’t get any answers. I still don’t know how the meat is washed, cooked, the location of the kitchen and the cleaning process overall. I am very disappointed and I lost my faith in snap kitchen. I don’t trust to buy another cooked meal since I don’t know what I will find in these meals. For the expensive price I paid I had some expectations to know what exactly I am eating. The operation manager doesn’t seem to care or be concerned to much to give explanations to customers.
