The food was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent too. Everything looked amazing. Our server was Marquest he recommended basically all our plates and we feel in love with all of it. Our other two servers were very nice too! We had a minor inconvenience and the servers were very hospitable as well as generous in helping to solve it. We will definitely be coming again! Thank you so much! Oh and I love how their plates are super hot to keep the food hot

My newly formed team at work had a holiday dinner here and the experience was very pleasant. The portions were generous and all of the food was cooked as expected. For me, the service was exquisite! Fine dining done well. The atmosphere was pleasant and upbeat but not over the top. This would be a nice place to splurge for an anniversary dinner. I enjoyed the experience overall, though personally would not spend the kind of money that the company spent for this, especially in this economy.

Flawless dinning experience, the steak was worlds best Texas selection. Every plate we ordered was delicious, dessert was rich and delicate. Service was second to none, well executed and throughly knowledgeable. Only downside was getting sized up by the security or doormen, didn’t feel welcomed outside the entrance felt a little hostile and sized up. Otherwise inside the experience was top notch.

We dined at Steak 48 for our Thanksgiving. We had a lovely experience. The ambience is so luxurious and warm. The waiter was very thorough on explaining the menu and specials. The options for steak is the largest selection you will find in Texas. We went all out and ordered h the 46oz bone-in wagu tomahawk. It was easily shareable with 4 people after the rolls and a couple sides. We ordered the macaroni and it was amazingly cheesy. We would definitely visit again and try their dry aged ribeye. My husband and I visit Texas restaurants with dry aged steaks and like to compare. I'd love to see how Steak 48 ranks!

This place had some of the best steak I have ever had in Houston! When I was here it was busy, and I know that can sometimes affect the quality of service, but the service can be better at the bar and both of the hostess were really good. They accommodated my party even though we didn’t have a reservation.

Visited this place celebrating my wife and I 36th wedding Anniversary also had our friends who were celebrating their 28th wedding anniversary. The atmosphere here was awesome, the food was 5* star plus. I had stake when I tell you it was cooked perfect and the rest of our party felt the same about their food selection. Our waiter Ms Tiara, I can't say enough about this young lady's service ( the best I've ever had ) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!! Her knowledge not only of the menu but also the food preparation you can't ask for better. Very attentive and welcoming never missed a beat. She and her crew also deserve 5* plus. Thanks for a Great night. Your service made our day even more special. Yes we'll be back and we'll be asking for her prior to our next visit

Had a fantastic anniversary dinner! Pork belly was delightful and rich. Filet mignon, ribeye were some of the best steaks in my experience! The sides were all so good and I had the Sashimi peppers too. Great atmosphere! The place was packed but service was impressive. The entire staff was attentive and drinks were never empty. They prepped affogato for us(not on menu) and we got key lime and chocolate cake to go. Absolutely delicious! If you order smartly you can get luxury for a great price. We chose instead to order everything and it was well worth the price!

Excellent restaurant and good value for the money spent. The menu is more pricey than other steakhouses in the area, however the quality and service were impeccable and made the dinner a wonderful experience. Great restaurant for a business dinner or celebrating and anniversary. Would recommend.

I absolutely love Steak 48! The ambiance is always a so calming and the service is top of the line! We come here all the time no occasion needed. The food is spectacular you cannot go wrong with the numerous options. If it is your first time i highly recommend the creme brûlée corn as a side you won’t regret it! And the drinks well we all can make our choices but the lemons drop and passion fruit marg are my go to all the time

Our waitstaff was Amazing!! The food was exceptional. High end prices, but I would return for special occasions. The chicken fried Lobster was moist and tender with a crunchy flavorful coating. I tasted the sauce, but it was not needed.

What an excellent experience! We were there to celebrate a birthday and they were very nice about acknowledging it every step of the way. Megan was our server and she did a great job explaining the menu and catering to our needs. All the food was absolutely superb, no comment. From the appetizers to the dessert. One thing I have to mention: they bring the plates where we’re going to eat HOT and you might think “so what?” But it makes a HUGE difference because it keeps your meat warm even after you start slicing it. What a clever idea! We came in early but left late, the vibe of the restaurant completely changes it too, looking way more party like, so if you’re coming with kids, I’d say come early.

I hadn’t been back here in years and was very surprised by the amazing service. I don’t think I’ve been to a restaurant in Houston with this level of hospitality. The service was amazing, I got a hand written bday note which was a nice touch, complimentary bday dessert (not pre decided, you can choose anything you want), and consistent management attention. When we waited for valet we got cold water, great for the Houston heat. Honestly this is an OG Houston steakhouse many people have forgotten but I was pleasantly surprised with the amazing service. The food is always so good so overall 10/10. Only thing I didn’t like was the music I wish they had classier music playing

My husband surprised me for our 35 wedding anniversary and our experience here was amazing! The ambience was great, our steaks were made to perfection! Our waiter was so nice, he suggested the , Ultimate Warm Vanilla Caramel Cake and we were not disappointed. It was the best desert I have ever had. Had an unforgettable dinner at Steak 48 on 7/20/25, and I have to say—this was hands down one of the best service experiences I’ve ever had. 💯 Even though I forgot our server’s name, I’ll never forget how professional, funny, and passionate he was. He clearly took pride in working at Steak 48 and knew the menu like the back of his hand. He patiently answered all our questions, made great recommendations, and made the whole ordering process super enjoyable. We told him we were sharing everything, and he thoughtfully brought each of us a giant hot plate for every dish—such a sweet touch! We ended up chatting for a long time, but thanks to those hot plates, nothing ever went cold. That level of attention to detail really impressed us. Now the food—wow. 🥩 The steak was insanely tender, juicy, and flavorful. Just the right amount of fat left on for that perfect balance. Definitely one of the best steaks I’ve had in Houston. The surprise birthday dessert was such a highlight too—fresh mini donuts beautifully presented on a silver “tree,” with a birthday message written on the plate. Simple, elegant, and so memorable. 🍩🎉 Everything from start to finish was flawless. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a work event at Steak 48, and it ended up being a great choice. The place is classy, elegant, and spotless. I got there a little early to set up at the bar, and the staff welcomed me right away. Drinks were made perfectly, and the service stayed solid even as the rest of my group showed up. Once we sat down, our waiter took things to another level. He walked us through the whole menu step by step, breaking down ingredients, cooking styles, and specials like he was giving us a guided tour. I couldn’t have asked for better service. We ordered appetizers, entrées, and desserts—pretty much one of everything so we could try it all. Every dish was excellent, and everyone at the table felt the same way. This is the kind of place that works well for a professional event, but it’s also perfect if you’re trying to impress someone or planning a nice date night. After dinner, I stopped by the restroom, and it was clean, spacious, and stocked with the good napkins… the ones that actually absorb, not smear. Parking can be a little tricky, but they offer valet. Just make sure you get it validated or it’ll cost you. Other than that, everything was on point. I’m already looking forward to going back.
