To start off with Kaitlynn was our server and she was amazing, she was really busy all night but made it a point to come check on us regularly. Our drinks were never empty and she answered all of our questions we had. She was very knowledgeable and fantastic. Plus she remembered that it was our anniversary and made sure that she told us happy anniversary before we left. The food was amazing as well. Great atmosphere
Brought our heathen children with us to celebrate our 17th anniversary... and everything was awesome. Big thanks to Sam for perfect wine pairing, quick service despite me being way too focused on the food, and knocking it out of the park with the final cocktail recommendation. Can't wait to come back
We had a great evening! Our server Erik was so kind, he provided great service and was very attentive! The food was delicious and we were provide more than our fare share of helpings. Towards the end our dinner the manager Paul stopped by our table to check on us! Thank you all for excellent service. We will be returning.
I had such a wonderful time recently! The food was truly excellent, and I found myself savoring every bite. Beyond the delicious meal, the atmosphere of the place was so pleasant and welcoming. It really contributed to a truly enjoyable experience for everyone involved. I also really cherished the company of my friends who were there. We had such great conversations and shared a lot of laughs. It was a perfect evening all around. I'm already looking forward to the next opportunity to go back.
Went there for a work Christmas party. The food was delicious, and they came around with all the favorite cuts often. All the servers helping were great. Ended the night with a bananas foster cake and that just sealed the deal... Ended up ordering one to go! Overall a beautiful evening and I would definitely return!
Everything about our dinner at Texas de Brazil was amazing. From the moment we sat down, the experience was top-tier. Our server, Jonathan, was hands down the best server I’ve ever had at a Brazilian steakhouse. His drink recommendations were pure perfection and elevated the entire meal. Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, he suggested an incredible dessert drink that truly was the icing on the cake. We made it a point to let the manager, Paul, know what a hidden gem Jonathan is because service like that deserves recognition. If you’re looking for top-notch service paired with genuine care and a kind smile, ask for Jonathan. You’ll thank me later.
I am writing to share my truly amazing experience at your restaurant. The food and atmosphere were exceptional. Everything we ordered was delicious, from the quality of the meat selection to the expertly prepared sides. I especially want to commend our server, Alexia, for her outstanding service. She was incredibly accommodating and attentive throughout our dinner, ensuring our glasses never went empty. I highly recommend both Alexia and your beautiful restaurant.
The food and service here is amazing! The meat is sooo tasty and juicy. Take a seat and then just…..eat! There is a large salad bar with an extensive range to choose from, but the large range of different meat is where it’s at. Beef, chicken, sausages, pork, rare medium rare, you make your choice. Then finish with dessert! Key Lime Pie!
I had an unforgettable date night at Texas de Brazil-Houston with my sugar daddy. The experience was truly luxurious, with impeccable service and an amazing selection of meats. The salad bar was fresh and diverse, and the ambiance was perfect for an elegant evening. Though it was an expensive night, every detail was worth it. The food was delicious, and we felt well taken care of. A memorable dining experience that I highly recommend for a special occasion!
My wife and I came here to eat for our 1st year anniversary as she has never been to a Brazilian steakhouse. I’ve come here once before for a friends bachelor party and thought it was really good. What I can say is that the service is really good. Those people walking around with the different meats can almost spot the green side of your card a mile away. We did try all the different meats that they were giving us along with a few drinks. The drinks were alittle strong for our liking but weren’t too terrible. Overall, we really liked coming here. Nice place on the insides including clean bathrooms and great food and salad bar. I would definitely recommend anyone to come to eat here if you’re in the mood for great Brazilian food.

I wanted to give this place five stars because the food was impeccable! My friend and I arrived and was sat down in the back, which is fine. We chatted and waited for our server. Ten minutes had gone by and no one had come to greet us at our table or get our drinks, so we got up and was going to leave but I saw the manager and he sat us down to a different table and made sure that our experience was not a negative one from that moment forward. The restaurant it self was very nice and clean, the salad bad had many options but of course we are there for the meat. There was several meats rotating through we tried almost all of them and they were all very juicy, and delicious, I personally did not have any dry meats. You get served Brazilian bread, potatoes, plantains, and mashed potato, all were very delicious. Food wise 5 ⭐️ Loved the food so much! Delicious meats!

I got the salad bar only option. The salad and fixings were good but everything else was just ok. My husband got the meat option and he said it was ok as well. At first the meat servers barely came to our table but went to other tables frequently. After we mentioned it to a manger this improved greatly. The place was very busy ( Saturday night). We don't live nearby so we probably won't return. The best food to me was the mashed potatoes and potatoes au gratin. Its expensive and food just ok.
My wife and I came in for Valentine’s lunch, so going in, we understand that today’s restaurants will be overloaded to a certain degree, but they didn’t seem to do themselves any favors in making it smoother. The cost for lunch was advertised as dinner cost, which is fine, but the speed or service for the meats was extremely slow. Anyone who frequents Brazilian steakhouses knows that normally your plate is so full of meat, you have to flip your card to red to catch up. At no point were our plates ever close to full, so for the price, that’s the most disheartening part. Additionally on the holiday demand front, they were seating some couples (2 people only, for fairness) at normal sized tables and some couples at very tiny tables. My wife and I were at one of those very small tables, so not only were we unable to fit a side plate from the salad bar for extras/goodies, but we got bumped by other patrons passing by as the aisle ways were laughably small. Credit should go to our waiter though, as he was certainly trying his best to maintain the normal service standard while having a ton of tables, but the restaurant didn’t make it easy on him or the customers. My wife and I have come plenty of times, and we will probably come back in the future, but we will be giving it a break to visit other Brazilian steakhouses as our go-to spot.
This was our second time here came a day before Valentine’s Day to beat the crowd. Most of the Food I had was good I think. I had to be extra picky though. We did lose some of the thrill of trying a new place which might account for our impatience of waiting for the meats we enjoyed. Our rolls were hard and hollow and the mashed potatoes hit the table cold. I enjoyed the lamb the first time but the second time they came around (we had to ask because it never came back around on its own and then it took a while to come even then) but the second time the guy seemed rushed and cut the pieces really thick and we didn’t like that. The lamb leg was TERRIBLE. Some parts Raw even. I asked for medium and got raw meat I kid you not. I would t have even called it rare the tendons looked like I just got read to season it for cooking. My guy got a plate of sirloin that was nothing but fat. Ordered a cocktail and it was 14 dollars….barely anything in the glass. We would have ordered more if not for that. The tables were way too close together. I think the salad bar saved the dinner for me! Likely will go back to Fogo before trying here again.

Compared to other Brazilian steakhouses, this Texas de Brazil location ranked the lowest for me. The meat service was noticeably slow. They didn’t come around as often, and we had to repeatedly ask our server to bring more meat. There were times when it took 10+ minutes between rounds of offerings. The salad bar was also underwhelming. The selection of cheeses, greens, vegetables, and fruit was very limited compared to other steakhouses. The most disappointing part happened after dessert. Our server brought “after-dinner” drinks and presented them in a way that made it seem like they were complimentary. When the bill came, we were charged $10 per shot. When we asked why it wasn’t clearly explained up front, he said he was doing what his manager asked him to do. Finally, the ambience didn’t feel upscale—tables were very close together, which made it feel crowded rather than “classy.” Overall, I wish management would focus more on quality and transparency rather than upselling.
Ordered the bacon wrapped chicken, ribs, & garlic picanha. As you can see, the ribs arrived DRY & the picanha looks and TASTED disgusting. My first impression of this restaurant and what a horrible one it was. The ribs were dry but had the best taste of all the proteins. The chicken wasn’t the best, literally had to dip it in ranch for it to taste better. As for the picanha: it also had a weird smell so, my partner did not want to try it. I did and I couldn’t even swallow it, instantly spit it out and tossed the container. Worst steak I’ve ever tasted. Maybeee a dine in experience is better but idk.. not returning nor do I recommend.

We visited Texas de Brazil for the first time today with a 6:30 PM reservation and waited over an hour to be seated. For a restaurant that charges premium prices, that’s unacceptable. The only bright spot was our waiter, Venny. He was attentive, polite, and kept checking on us the whole time and he really did everything he could to make up for the experience. Unfortunately, the rest of the service was disappointing. After finally being seated, it took about 20 minutes before any meat was offered, and even then the meat cutters kept skipping our table and several others around us even though our cards were green. We had to ask Venny to intervene before anyone finally came to our side. Once he mentioned it, suddenly all the previously ignored tables were attended to, which shows the issue was with the floor service, not timing. The food itself was just okay, nothing special enough to justify the long wait and poor attention. For the price and the occasion, this was very disappointing. We won’t be coming back and would rather spend our money at Fogo de Chão or Gauchos Do Sul, where we’ve had much better service.
Texas de Brazil - CityCentre location should be embarrassed to call itself “fine dining.” We chose this place for our wedding anniversary. What we got was tough, rubbery, over-salted meat that felt mass-produced and careless. Multiple cuts were chewy and unpleasant. Nothing tasted fresh. Nothing felt premium. For the outrageous price they charge, the quality is honestly insulting. This isn’t luxury. It’s a money grab dressed up with dim lighting and branding. But the worst part isn’t even the food — it’s how they treat customers once they’ve taken your money. I filed a formal complaint and specifically requested to be contacted by a manager or owner. I asked for a direct email to discuss a resolution. Instead, they posted a lazy, copy-and-paste apology — the same robotic response they leave under every negative review. No actual outreach. No accountability. No effort to fix what they ruined. It has now been over 50 days. No call. No email. No follow-up. No responsibility. That level of disregard says everything. This business does not care about quality. It does not care about customer experience. It does not care about making things right. It cares about collecting your money and hiding behind corporate scripts when something goes wrong. They didn’t just disappoint us — they ruined what was supposed to be a special anniversary dinner and then completely ignored us for nearly two months. If you are thinking about celebrating anything important here — birthday, anniversary, milestone — do not risk it. There are too many excellent restaurants in Houston that actually value their guests. This place relies on branding and reputation, not substance. Consider this your warning.
I was honestly disappointed with my visit today. First, the prices have gone up dramatically. This restaurant used to cost around $90–$110 for two people, including everything. Today, for a quick 45-minute visit, the total came out to $199, which feels excessive for the same experience. Second, charging extra for an additional tea bag is not a good look. When a customer is already paying close to $200, basic courtesy matters. Charging extra tea cup simply because I took two tea bags instead of one felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. I understand prices increase over time, but value and customer experience should increase as well. Unfortunately, today’s visit did not reflect that.
Horrible experience would rate 0 stars if possible. My wife a friend and myself went to celebrate my birthday and ended with being the worst experience and time I ever had. I would say that even though the food wasn't bad the service was terrible as well as the way we were treated. We had reservations for 7:30 and arrived at 7:20. We got sat at our table around 8pm with little to no service the whole time. Once we finished with our dinner we had asked for our check it took roughly 20 minutes before our waitress brought it to us. Since it was my birthday I had a discount for my dinner and when I asked the waitress about it she had a attitude as if it was a problem because she had to get the manager to handle it. Once the manager came and checked my information he gave me my discount handed me the check and just walked away without saying anything. Once we reviewed the check my wife had noticed as some issues. It took 10 to 15 minutes before we could find help to discuss the check because our waitress was not around nor came back but we finally was able to speak to a different manager and the lady just smiled told me there was nothing she could do. I had explained the problem and the experience we were told the check was correct for there location and said she didn't know what the problem was. She then said sorry and just walked away. I then waited for my waitress to return she asked if the check was ready so we handed her the check the our credit card but explained we would like to speak to the head manager to explain what had went on. Then the waitresses took out check with our credit card handed with the the GM on duty briefly spoke with him before they walked to our table. The gentleman had asked how everything was and how was the experience. Once we started explaining the check issues with him and all the other problems plus how we were being treated especially for being a disabled vet trying to enjoy a nice birthday dinner with my wife and a friend he told us that he would take care of everything noth to worry about anything and to have a good night. Then he handed us our check back with our credit card and walked away. We thought we how nice and and felt very appreciated but that didn't last long. Right after we got up and left the waitress came running outside telling us that we never paid but once we explained to her the conversation with the GM she apologized. Soon as the waitress apologized out came the same GM that told us he would take care of the bill screaming that he was calling the cops because we ran out without paying. At that moment we were confused and angered at the fact the this was happening. He spoke with the waitress and she was just as confused. We tried speaking to him but he refused so we wanted inside the restaurant for the cops because we never tried to run out without paying and needed to get everything resolved. We waited for hours and eventually the GM came over and said we could leave and didn't need to pay once again but by that point we were afraid of leaving without speaking to the cops. We waited 4 hours before finally speaking to the cops but never was able to speak with the GM. The cops did speak to us as well as the GM as and the GM had admitted to the officers that he did tell us that he take car of the bill and he made a mistake and once the officers reviewed the video footage that showed Prof we gave our credit cards to pay and audio provided evidence of the conversation they said we were not in the wrong and did nothing wrong but because the GM couldn't force us to pay he told the officer he was to press trespassing charges and we got warnings and were told we could not return in which we felt was unjust and illegal to be able to do that. I have never felt so embarrassed and disrespected. This establishment needs some proper training on how to treat customers and etiquets?
Be careful ordering through DoorDash with them. They do not check your order before sending it out. Calling them is pointless as well since they blame DoorDash, yet they are the ones who packed the bag. I literally received one item of what I ordered and a mystery meat, no sides or anything else. While I understand DoorDash delivers the meal, they don’t pack it. It was sealed so it was restaurant error.
First time and last time, one of the worst experiences. We’ve tried almost every single Brazilian stake house in Houston, this one the service was horrible , had to wait for over 30 min to get my Filet-mignon, And never got it 🥺. Overall food quality wasn’t the best, and the meat wasn’t cooked right “You order medium, you get rare 😩” . And they don’t re-fill the salad bar. Asked for the manager and she didn’t show up. 👎👎👎👎👎👎 if service and quality matters to you, don’t even think about this place.
