I thank the woman at the register because my eyes were bigger than my stomach. This place was jumping and I was craving a lot as I got a ham and bacon omelet with a single order of hot cakes. My goodness, the amount of food I and my mom had was amazing and the cost was a lot better than most. The quality was wonderful and the staff was amazing as well the atmosphere had the perfect comfy type of vibes to enjoy this meal, just to leave with plenty of leftovers.

What a super fun breakfast and brunch spot! The portions are beyond huge! No way can you finish a regular order of hotcakes. The blueberry pancakes were so fresh, tons of blueberries and the hot syrup is a truly gourmet touch. No reservations, you order at the counter and get your own utensils, drinks and condiments at your own table. The kitchen and staff are efficient and work quickly. The food comes out hot and made well. Excellent hashbrowns, giant biscuits, snappy sausage links, tender sausage Patties, generous portions of everything. Certainly a crowd pleaser and perfect place for a cheat day meal. Thanks!

My bf brought me here and idk how I never knew of this place before. Super friendly staff. Great prices and omg the food, drool! We ordered buffalo burger, sausage red beans & rice and fruit salad.

This is one of those hometown staples where if you know you know. Buffalo Grille has been around for years because of their good food, good service, and no muss no fuss type of vibe. You order your food at a counter after waiting in line so you have plenty of time to decide between yummy options. I was split between the French toast and huevos rancheros, but decided I wanted something savory and not sweet so I went with the huevos rancheros. After you order your food you get your silverware, drinks, condiments, and coffee from another counter and serve yourself. I loved how they have pecan and toasted cinnamon coffee in addition to regular and decaf. I went with the toasted cinnamon. They play the top country hits over the speakers and you’ll hear your name announced to pick your food up at the counter. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, in front of the restaurant and the patio out back.

I kinda liked this option for today's lunch. Basically counter service but effective with a good selection available. I had the catfish, green beans & mashed potatoes w/some jalapeno bread but I'd like to go back and try a few other items on their expansive menu board

Food is always good... Employees are friendly and helpful.. will not leave hungry.. the portions of food are very generous. The breakfast is served all day... My favorite.. I also enjoy the setting.... Comfortable and clean.. As of 4/9/22 I can definitely tell the cook has changed.... The food isn't prepared the same. Totally different taste. You use to ask for crispy hash browns.. now they all are almost burned.. the omelette wasn't an omelette.. more like scrambled eggs. And the beacon is also over cooked. Please get a better cook..

I’ve come here several times for lunch working in this area. The service is good and the people are nice, but I’ve continued to be disappointed time and time again by the food. I’ve tried several items from the menu for both breakfast and lunch and have always left dissatisfied. Service is good, food… mediocre at best.

Pancakes were doughy. My wife liked the French toast and the build your own tacos. The scrambled eggs had some parts runny. I didn't care for the coffee much. The staff was courteous and were interested in providing a good experience.

Had a fairly decent overall experience, but nothing too special. All of our egg-based dishes were fine, including my omelette. The peppered bacon we ordered was far too crispy for how thick it was. I wish it was either a little thinner or a little softer to enjoy more of the flavor. The hash browns weren't that great either, as they really lacked flavor in general. The pancakes were fine, but rather than get a short stack with both chocolate chips and pecans, we received a pancake with chocolate chips and two with pecans (none with both). The main highlight of the meal was the different types of coffee (especially the toasted cinnamon).

We are so disappointed. We are long time customers of BG. Recently moved back and we’re excited to eat our Sunday AM breakfast here. We were so sad to learn you could no longer order huevos rellenos, even off menu. The cinnamon coffee they were famous far is sub par. They put an American cheese slice in the breakfast taco. Just a sad experience and we understand why there is no line waiting to get in.

This place used to be great, but new ownership has absolutely ruined it. They used to have a menu my family of 5 could eat from, now everything is, "we can't do that." Now they serve DINKS. Well, Best of luck because I know my family of 5 and occasional grandparents spent more per visit than the rich DINKS they want to visit, because they definitely don't want families anymore.

I am 3 mins walking distance from here I decided to give it a try today, ordered my food and started walking over since they said 10 mins I figured I could wait there. I get it fresh walk 3 mins back and the burger was unbelievably soggy they need to do better about to-go so much moisture in the buns and I immediately picked it up as it came out of the kitchen. And please do better with the lettuce shredded lettuce on a burger?

I’ve been coming to BG Houston for 25+ years. I haven’t visited in a while and today was surprised at the change in menu and atmosphere. My favorite menu items were gone and “fancy” replacements were on the menu instead. The interior did look nice but it wasn’t the mom and pop feel anymore. It was more of a Houston vibe. I’ll miss you Buffalo Grille. You were awesome.
