My husband loves coming here. He comes almost every week to get the pork sandwiches. Today we had pho — I didn’t want a whole bowl for myself, so I just shared his. We also got the pork sandwich. It’s very good! It’s just not my personal favorite, but I still highly recommend it. If you’re looking for authentic flavor and a real taste of the culture, this is the place. When you see the people cooking the food eating it themselves, you know you can trust it. That says a lot. And the drinks — I always come here for the drinks. They’re so good!
We had a very good food in V Bistro. As it says on the wall of the restaurant, “ nothing brings people together as it does by good food”, we found it real in this restaurant. My daughter left her Laika astronaut dog (doll), they came quickly outside the door and gave back her doll. The price of the food was average compared to other asian restaurant. They were courteous and attentive to the customers.
We got there a little after 7 (they close at 8) and we were greeted fairly quickly. The waiter took my order while my honey went to wash his hands. I told him I wanted to wait but he said “I take it now, it ok.” My honey comes back & he places his order, then boom. 2 min later I get my order but not his. They took forever to bring his pho. Needless to say my food was cold & his was hot. I blame myself for not saying no & just wait to place our orders together. I knew it was near closing time, but this was not a good experience for being our first time.
Juicy, flavorful steak cubes stole the show, pho hit the spot, smoothies were creamy and fresh. Warm, fast service. Definitely 5 stars.
Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, quick refills, friendly recommendations, and genuine smiles. Their fresh spring rolls were another highlight, tightly wrapped, crunchy veggies, succulent shrimp, and that addictive peanut-hoisin dipping sauce. Light yet so satisfying!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ V Bistro – Humble, TX Today I stopped by V Bistro in Humble and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and came out fast. You can tell everything is made with care. The portions were solid, the ingredients tasted high-quality, and the flavors were on point from the first bite. The service was just as good friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being over the top. The place has a clean, relaxing vibe that makes you want to sit and enjoy your meal instead of rushing out. Whether you’re craving something comforting or trying it for the first time, V Bistro is definitely worth the stop. Humble has a lot of spots, but this one stands out. I’ll definitely be back.
My friends and I had such a great time here! There were 8 of us, and the total bill was only about $150 — and the food completely filled up the whole table. The staff were super kind, patient, and made us feel really welcome. _ The food was fresh, delicious, and honestly way better than we expected for the price. ***Highly recomment for everyone who wants to come with the big family or friends.
Perfect lunch spot! Can be a bit crowded at times, but that is always a good sign. Highly recommend their sandwiches, the price cannot be beat! Overall, a good place, with award winning dishes that anyone traveling into Houston should try right off the plane.
Pretty great service, felt nice and cool inside. Pho was nice and fresh, the spicy pho was incredibly delicious. My husband and son and myself loved the food here, the servers are very attentive. They don’t mean to make you feel rushed it’s just their hospitality is on point don’t take it as they are rushing. They are very attentive. My son also loved his strawberry boba smoothie!! We will be back!
I absolutely love this place! Pho is my go-to comfort food, and their beef bone broth completely met my expectations—aromatic yet perfectly balanced without being overpowering. I also tried the vermicelli combo, which was delicious. The meat had a great charcoal-grilled flavor, and the dish also came with shrimp, making it even more satisfying. Will definitely visit this place again in my next Houston visit.
I’ve tried this place and they take care of their customers. They were attentive, accommodating and listened well. I’ll try it again. The food was pretty good. I tried the egg rolls, grilled pork spring rolls, beef and shrimp fried rice and the beef pho. The egg rolls were regular size and crispy. The spring rolls were ok. The broth on the pho was natural and delicious. The fried rice was good and well cooked. Overall an 8/10. Try this place!
Decided to try pho place since they have an awesome deal on pho combo for lunch. You get noodle or rice combo with egg roll or spring roll and drink for a decent price. Everything we ordered were amazingly delicious. I got the round steak and tendon pho with my steak on the side. I like my meat medium rare that’s why I asked for it to be on the side. It’s a fairly small restaurant but cozy and the service is pretty fast. Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a must try.
Aside from the overly loud new age music blaring over the speakers, the food was fairly good. Only complaint is I wish when I ask for extra meat in my pho that there would of been extra meat, and that it wouldnt of been overcooked. I was expecting rare beef. But what made up mainly for that is they have pretty good Springrolls and blended drinks.
Wish I could rate this place better but honestly 3 stars is being generous. I am a vegetarian and I got the tofu bahn mi. The sandwich was pretty dry and the ratio of tofu to bread was pretty off (i know that the bread is normally very thick). I also got the taro milk tea and there isn’t a lot of flavor to the taro. Overall this was an okay experience. I did have this to go if that makes any difference. I would come again but not come very often as there are other, better tofu bahn mi places that I would pick over this one.
This place was very quaint, clean, and welcoming. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. My waitress was being hassled by the table next to me, and I felt so badly for her. She was very sweet and was trying her best to make them happy. That being said, the food was just okay. I've never had pho as bland as this before. There was absolutely zero flavor. It tasted like salt water. Worse yet, they only have sambal and plum sauce(?) on the table. No hot oil, soy sauce, or even sriracha!! The soup needed a lot of everything to make it have flavor. It's also the first time I've ever eaten pho with a fork, as they don't have chopsticks on the table, and I felt silly asking. I don't know... The service was fantastic, the food was disappointing.
I have been coming here since 2012. The food has gone down in flavor since. It used to be one of my favorite Vietnamese spots, but I don’t think they hold up well with the competition now. I will say that the food comes out fast so if you’re looking for a quick bite, thats your spot.
Bahn mi was unseasoned tasteless tofu- untoasted bread and the carrots were shredded while the cucumber came in half inch thick chunks and the avocado was going bad. There was no sauce on the side nor in the sandwich. I wish I had anything good to say about the sandwich other than the cilantro was fresh
I ordered the chicken noodle soup and was pretty disappointed. The flavor was off, and both the noodles and chicken had a strange texture that just didn’t seem right. Overall, it wasn’t an enjoyable experience, and I probably wouldn’t come back unless there were major changes, possibly even new ownership.
I ordered the beef pho and it was just okay. The broth didn't have much flavor. I placed a pick-up order right before closing, so maybe that’s why the portion was so small. The noodles and veggies were minimal, I only received a few slices of beef. For what I got, it felt ridiculously overpriced. I asked the guy for sauces thats provided while dining in. He assured me that it was in the bag. Well that was un-true one pack of hoisin sauce and sriracha. No soy sauce, chili paste, or chili oil. The restaurant was small, I'm not sure I’d return.
The service is what I didn't like. They got annoyed because I asked for more sauces since the bottles were empty and they didn't bring water to the table. The person who brought the bill got really angry. She asked me if I wanted my change, and I said yes. She got upset and said that I had bothered them so much with my requests and then didn't leave a tip. As far as I know, and as I've always done, I pay and then leave the tip. But this person got angry, gave me my change, and said, "Take your change."
Very disappointed. The “gluten free” egg rolls are cooked in the same fryer as everything else and the waiter did not seem to understand why that made the egg rolls not truly gluten free. We ordered two drinks and one came out within a couple minutes and the other took 20 minutes to come out when there was only like 5 tables in the whole restaurant. It was supposed to be a fruit slushy but it came out more like a smoothie consistency. We both got the pho and it was very bland. The broth barely had any flavor and the beef (beef meatballs, steak, and brisket) was also bland. The most flavorful thing in the whole bowl was the purple onion. Overall we were very disappointed with our experience and won’t be going back.
