A coffee shop where you can taste the coffee and nothing else. First time here as I'm always here for work next door at Sprouts. I was impressed. I can recommend the Caramel Blondie Chiller and a bagel. I opted in for a bagel with cream cheese, and I was expecting a little container of cream cheese for me to spread, but the bagel already had cream cheese on it. Let me tell you, they jam-packed it full of cream cheese. 10/10.

Mikayla (sorry if i spelt it wrong) made me and my friend two of her favorite drinks and was so sweet and excited to serve us! They were so nice, and the coffee was delicious ☺️

I don’t love chain coffee shops, but this location always has super friendly staff and they make a drink however you want! They will even help you customize anything to make it taste delicious! I haven’t had a bad experience at this location and they give the cutest pup cups with a little treat for your furry friends!

Best coffee around! Great customer service. Of course I wish it was a dollar or so cheaper, that would make it more in my price range, but it is a custom coffee drink so I get it.

I like to try different coffee spots in the midcities area and decided to try Black Rock simply because it’s convenient. This place is BRIGHT - tons of natural light from all of the windows - yet warm because of the wood and brick walls. I also loved the mural. The coffee was great. I got my go to cortado. It wasn’t on the menu but they hooked me up. Service was great. Environment great. I’ll be back!

They have soy , almond and oat alternatives to milk. Lots of flavors , usually pretty quick. Lattes are good, iced drinks and frozen fuels are great. Only complaint is sometimes I have to get nitro cold brew instead of regular. Which isn't an issue. Staff is friendly and nice. Solid coffee bar

But coffee is made with 2% and seems like their machine needs some calibration to tighten up the pulls.

I only had a matcha as I met up with a friend to talk and then do schoolwork. I think this spot is great for meetups, but if you have to read or do other focused activities, no. It was too loud with other people’s conversations and the music. My matcha was good. I cleaned my own table, no big deal, I’m sure if I told someone who worked there, they would have done it. I only saw 2 people behind the counter and they were busy helping other customers. Someone did come out as I was leaving with a cloth to wipe down tables. Overall, I’d return to hang out.

Dropped in for the first time to check it out yesterday and although the staff were kind, my drink was cold. The gentlemen working appeared to be having fun screaming Taylor Swift songs, but just not paying attention. My assumption is that's why my drink was cold. The drink tasted good but it being cold sort of ruined my experience.

I got the xl matcha latte. clearly was just milk with a sprinkle of matcha because it was basically white. I ordered it with oatmilk. I did not receive oatmilk. I thought it tasted funny, but just chalked it up to it being mostly milk and not matcha at all. It was definitely cows milk. I sat down at the couches and my head started hurting so bad it felt like i was just gonna fall over and pass out. I packed up and as soon as i made it back to my car i started projectile vomiting in the parking lot. Funny but also not. I threw up everything. Went home and threw up some more. I haven’t drank cows milk in probably 10 years. I haven’t consumed dairy at all in the last 4. 0/5 honestly but 2 stars for a honest mistake and bonus point for the size being xl. Should definitely actually put a good amount of matcha in there though, and the right milk of course.

I would always add an extra shot of espresso because otherwise the drinks taste too watered down and milky, and a medium would come out to $8. Happy hour was only saving me $2 certain days/times of the week but I justified it and now I’m not. Idk if y’all think cancelling deals will increase your sales but you’re just going to lose customers imo
