Delicious tacos, salsas and aguas frescas!!! update: 11/15/2024 We had dinner here tonight and everything was as good as the last time we came. My wife had the 6 taquito special with bistek and she said it was delicious! I had the enchiladas de pollo con crema and it was really good. The chips and salsa they bring you is so good that we kept getting refills of chips. I also had the Agua de Horchata and it was done perfectly, too bad they charge for a refill since it's $4.50 to begin with! The rice and beans were not that good this time, beans were just basic and bland and the rice was a bit hard. The server took a while to come get our order after they sat us down, had to ask 3 times for more chips. We will definitely come back since overall it was a good experience because of the atmosphere and the overall taste of the food. Give them a try and see what you think!

This has to be Pflugerville's best Mexican food restaurant. They have limited seating, and the place gets pretty packed during rush hours. I would recommend the bistec tacos and the different margaritas they have to try out. You can buy meat by the pound and share with your friends and family.

This place offers a vast array of delicious food. Service is always great and the plates are fresh and hot. Its a great spot for breakfast or lunch, but lunch is our favorite.

El Taquito was an amazing local surprise that I just did not expect. Without a doubt, the tacos were some of the best I have had in awhile. The chilaquiles took me back to what I remember having in Nicaragua years ago. The pastor with chorizo was moist and full of flavor. Service may have been bad in the past, but the new GM Pam is amazing, and ensured that we had the absolute best service possible. All the servers were extremely friendly and helpful. Im excited to have a new local favorite because we intend on frequenting this restaurant for years to come.

The tacos originalis are excellent. Really great shrimp cocktail and ceviche . Mexican martinis are great. Service can some times take a while if the restaurant is busy and most the time it is busy. The bartenders are always super nice even though they are going 90 miles an hour. We have been longtime customers, back when they were located next to the corner gas station. The prices are somewhat high, but it’s a great treat.

Tacos are really good! Didn’t really care for the red enchiladas but the green sauce was good. We’ve dined in and order take out, service is always friendly and prompt. Overall a nice place with good vibes.

Went for a late lunch and while we enjoyed the overall meal, we left with some favorite items and wishing for more from others. The fajita taco, vaquero beans, and gringa were great. Pastor was okay. Service was good but they did forget pineapple on the pastor tacos. We felt the prices were $3-5 more per meal than we would have liked to pay. We would go again and just ordered the items we really liked.

Pretty busy on a Sunday but friendly, patient staff. Food was good, Tex-Mex flavors. ( Not too spicy). Food needed to be warmer, but flavors were there. Refried beans flavor were something a bit different. (Cuba Libres were awesome!) Maybe my new go to for a quick local bite???

Food was ok.. but I was more disappointed with them forgetting my coffee..

My wife and I used to frequent this restaurant, and during COVID (2020) would go pickup meals and their Mango Margarita to go. Today - I ordered food and Margaritas online for me to pickup. When I got home with the food and drinks I find that the "bistek taco" is only a single taco... (but the picture shows 2 tacos) so I got home and find we were 2 tacos short since I placed an order of one with flour and one with corn. The description does not say that it is a single taco... my mistake in believing $5 was for only a single taco. These tacos are small and certainly not worth $5 each... and the picture or text should spell that out. Then on top of it all - there was an automatic charge of 20% tip (and I picked up - there was no delivery). This will be the last time here.... We like their Mango Margaritas but it is not worth what we are paying...

The food is always delicious. The service is not so good. Our server forgot one of our orders, didnt acknowledge it nor apologize for it. When it came time to pay, he input the full amount and included the tip, instead of allowing me to input the tip myself. I believe that to be a bit presumptuous. I tried to edit it, and I wasnt able to. Although the food is delicious, we will not be back. This is the second time we've had issues with our check when it came time to pay. The atmosphere is decent, although the music is a bit louder than I'd like.

Just based on the food and service it was okay. Nice, cute, clean, little restaurant. After being greeted and taking our order kind of got ignored. Food was nothing to brag about looked good but was missing flavor.

I ordered a large quesadilla with chicken, I got chicken and beef and was not a fan of the flavour - it was not what I wanted. I also got chips queso. I asked for some red salsa and the lady running to go orders said I would have to pay extra for a container. I told her my tacos come with salsa can I just do half half instead of the 5 containers of green she gave me. She refused. I mentioned that dine in gets free salsa so I’m confused about why I can’t get an extra little red salsa or switch it out?? She was not helpful and I do NOT recommend this place at all! Experience was a 0/10. Do not go here, they do not want to take care of their customers.

We were so excited to try this place but it was just okay…. Taste like all store bought ingredients (tortillas, chips, rice, beans, queso etc.) the atmosphere was cool though. Our server was very nice though!
