Walking to the restroom and over heard a table say "jack allens never disappoints" and they are so right! Each one we have been to is great. This one is the best. Suzanne is a seasoned server and if shows. Great suggestions and service, outstanding!
Jack Allen's Kitchen, you do not disappoint! My aunt and uncle were here from out of town and although I had not dined at the Hutto location before, everything was as expected base on your other locations- great food, friendly and timely service (Thank you Nicole L.), clean and comfortable atmosphere, friendly reservationist (Thank you, Landon) and reception staff!! Personally, my favorite dishes are the Grilled Ruby Trout dinner, Smashed Guacamole and Crunchy Catfish and Slaw. Additionally, everyone (8 of us) liked their entrees. Thank you, Jack Allen's Kitchen for being dependable and a place that I can recommend with confidence! So happy to see your expansion to many locations and maintaining superior quality!
Great pulled pork sandwich with a side of potato salad for $9.99! I swapped the salad for their awesome sweet potato fries! Great service, gorgeous location but no signage that parking is free in the multi-storied garage next door. Water feature just outside the front door! Beautiful new building and another great location for farm to table cuisine at Jack Allen’s. Try it!
Such a stellar experience at Jack Allen's 🤤👌 Our waiter Sal was excellent. 5 stars all the way around ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I got the fried yard bird 🐔 fried to a cispity-crunchety perfection 👌 smothered in some kinda green chili gravy 🤤 complimented with garlic mashed taterz 🤩 accompanied by pristinely seasoned grilled veggies. The post-Jack Allen's food coma was well worth it.
5 stars all around! Shout out to our server LK (sorry if thats not correct) she was awesome. Really impressed by the menu, great variety and price range.
We had a lovely time celebrating my husband's birthday at Jack Allen's in Hutto. The private dining area was perfect for our group. We had 2 dedicated servers. They were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and we all had a great time. It was a perfect celebration.
Great great place to eat!! My wife and I have been a few times now. Lately I have been coming for the burger deal buy one for 14.99 and get the 2nd meal for free awesome value and deal!! I came Sunday night 10/26/25 Landon working up front was really cool and nice Also our waitress Suzann was really nice and helpful!! Came back Monday night 10/27/25 with my son Nicole was really good and helpful and nice as well!! Then tonight 10/28/25 I sat at the bar solo and Matt was really good and nice and helpful as well!! Great service all 3 days in a row!!
First time here Thursday evening and one of the BEST experiences we’ve had in a restaurant. LEX, our server, was AMAZING. He was knowledgeable, professional, easygoing, and made excellent meal recommendations! The fried Pork Chop really surprised me with its flavor and juicy tenderness! One of the best I’ve ever had in my lifetime 🤤. Drinks were top notch as well! Thank you LEX. Can’t wait to see you next time!
Susanne did incredible, Thank you! Food came out timely and correct, drinks spot on. And the dessert absolutely perfect. Seriously ordered too much to each. Restaurant was great, patrons all kept modest and social level level of conversation, even with the rams bears game on. Staff didn't seem overly rushed, normally when too many things are going wrong you feel it. Staff had time to pause and watch tables. Clear sign management doing it right.
I don’t plan on returning to Jack’s because they removed the Gorgonzola Ravioli from their menu. Been going for years between the RR and CP location and always get the same things. Black Cherry Frozen, Gorgonzola Ravioli, and 13 Spice Pasta. It’s a shame because I can’t imagine it was for lack of sales as it was a popular item. I’m guessing the prep or cost wasn’t conducive with their expansion plans. But in fairness, the Hutto location was a 5/5 experience. What I did have was excellent, from the drinks to the food. The service was fantastic. The location is gorgeous. Highly recommend if my issue doesn’t apply to you.
Absolutely loved everything! My mom I dish was amazing! My Husband didn’t care for his dish as much, but it wasn’t the quality of the food it was just that he tried something different. As soon as we shared our concern, a waiter Jennifer, and the manager came over right away. Jennifer was so nice and friendly. We truly felt like we were having dinner at a family member house. My new happy place. We will be back soon. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience.
Jack Allen's in Hutto is a beautiful restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bar is impressive, both in how it looks and in the quality of the drinks. The food is consistently outstanding and the service is always on point. Every visit feels easy and enjoyable because the staff truly knows how to take care of their guests. It is one of the best dining spots in the area and always worth the stop.
I absolutely love this place, it always gives me home cooked meal vibes. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, the managers always come to check to make sure everything is going good. They value you the opinion of there guest so they can improve and it’s a people business so I love that. Anytime i’m able to go and enjoy a good meal I come here and I recommend it for anyone else who’s looking for just good vibes and great food. I love the crab dip, and the Barbacoa stackers also the catfish is beyond me I literally will get it to go if I don’t eat it there because it’s just that good.
This was my first time visiting Jack Allen’s, and it definitely won’t be my last! We started with the Barbacoa Stackers, and wow they were absolutely fantastic. I was hesitant about the coleslaw on top, but it actually made the dish even better. The service was phenomenal. Our waitress was so sweet and took the time to walk us through the entire brunch menu. She was attentive, friendly, and really made the experience enjoyable. I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla, and it was delicious. The inside was eggs were slightly overcooked and the sauce was packed with flavor without it, the dish might have been a bit bland, but they nailed it. One of my friends got the Chicken and Biscuits, which looked amazing, and another friends had the Fish and Soup, which they said had great flavor. Overall, the portion sizes were generous for brunch, and everything we tried was full of flavor. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
Maybe it's just me but I think this is a bit better than the other locations. So fresh and bigger servings! I had the barbacoa stackers and avacado toast. The coffee is hot and the pomegranate sangria adds the perfect spirit to Sunday fun-day.. We just had to try the banana toffee pie, seasonal treat. 😋
A family member has been here several times and has talked highly about the food so we thought we’d finally try this location. We arrived at a about 4 o clock on a Monday so there was very many customers present. When our waitress came to the table she provided an excellent description of that days specials and when asked provided a good variety of the meals she’d recommend for a first time customer. We ordered the Texas Coast Crispy Shrimp, Chicken Fried Pork Chop and Pesto Marinated Crab Stuffed Chicken. For having very few customers at the time we considered it a long wait for our food to come to the table. (Our family member who had recommended this location had boosted about how quick service had been during his visits). The wait was clearly worth it, the food quality was exceptional. Didn’t have drinks this time but next time it will be get a drink, chill, have a conversation and wait for the food to arrive. We will return.
My family took me to this restaurant for a birthday dinner. I got the pork chop. It was really tender and juicy but it looked pinkish so I was a bit afraid that it was undercooked. The chicken Mac and cheese was delicious. The barbacoa enchiladas were delicious. I also tried a dessert and it did not disappoint.
I had the fried shrimp and barbacoa enchiladas, and both were full of flavor and cooked just right. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and everything tasted fresh. I ended the meal with dessert topped with ice cream, and it was the perfect sweet finish. Service was very friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made it an easy spot to relax and enjoy dinner. 10\10 I definitely recommend and will be back 🫶🏾
Amazing Veteran’s Day lunch! We had chicken fried chicken and barbacoa enchiladas. Both were excellent! Tim is an awesome server! Knowledgable about the menu, attentive, personable, and friendly. He rocks! Thank you, Jack Allen’s for honoring veterans! We appreciate the hospitality.
**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Experience at Jack Allen's Kitchen!** I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jack Allen's, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfectly captures that cozy Texas charm with a touch of sophistication. The food was the real star—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. I highly recommend the Breakfast Sandwich Scrambled farm eggs & crispy potato birds nest, applewood smoked bacon & jack cheese, brioche bun, chipotle hollandaise, jalapeno mayo, JAK’d up breakfast potatoes -absolutely delicious! Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. The staff overall went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Whether you're visiting for brunch, lunch, or dinner, Jack Allen’s delivers on every level. It's the kind of place you want to return to again and again. Highly recommend!
I had my first visit to Jack Allen’s, and I can confidently say it won’t be my last! The staff was so warm and welcoming, and our server really stood out with their knowledge and spot-on recommendations. We started with the Barbacoa Stacker appetizer—such a perfect combination of flavors. For my entrée, I tried the seasonal Blue Crab Ravioli, which was light yet wonderfully satisfying. And dessert? You absolutely must try the Blondie Pie topped with vanilla ice cream—it was the perfect sweet ending. What impressed me most was learning that every ingredient is locally sourced, which makes the experience even more special. Next time I have friends visiting from out of town, Jack Allen’s will definitely be at the top of my list to share with them!
Second time visiting in one week! This place is amazing, beautiful restaurant, delicious food! I got the crab stuffed chicken last time, I definitely recommend, today I got the smoked beer can chicken. It was so juicy and full of flavor, we finished it off with some pumpkin cheese cake. 5 star service! We will definitely be back
My family and I came here for dinner and our experience was amazing. Our wait was 15 to 20 minutes. We were able to sit outside in the patio and enjoy the nice weather and the view of the pond and water fountain. The weather wasn’t too hot or chilly. We arrived here during happy hour and had like an hour left to enjoy the half off prices on drinks and appetizers. All of our drinks were amazing and were made just right. We ordered the nachochitos for our appetizer and it was delicious. My wife ordered the chorizo pork chops, my daughter and I ordered hamburgers. Everything was tasting delicious and amazingly fresh. For the burger the meat is normally cooked to medium but our waitress let us know and asked it was okay for us. So be aware and if medium cooked is not your thing then let them know when ordering your burger. Parking is a breeze because there is a huge parking garage right next to the restaurant. It has both elevator and stairs. Also, if you use Google maps, be aware it will misguide you towards the front of the COOP. Just make sure to the parking garage for parking.
This was my first time at Jack Allen’s Kitchen. Brittany was our server. She was nothing short of amazing. I can't say enough about the outstanding customer service. She knew the food, drinks, and smiled the whole time. She made my bonus mom’s birthday extra special. She brought out a dessert with ice cream and a candle. I could go on and on about this experience. I will definitely ask for Brittany when we come back.
The perfect spot for good food and good drinks! We sat outside in the evening, and it was great! We enjoyed our food with the sound of the water right outside the restaurant. Prices were reasonable and great portions. Our server Laura was great! She was very attentive and answered all our questions. Jacob, the manager ,also made sure all his guests were satisfied with their meals and service on more than one occasion. Thank you Jacob for providing such a great experience from the minute we sat down, until the minute we left. Good service is hard to find. We will DEF be back!
Stopped in for my Birthday dinner. Our server, Nicole was wonderful. We ordered the Queso, Steak and Arugula Salad, Grilled Riblet? (Fish) (Husband believes that was it's name.) And the fudge pie to share. The queso was good. The others were great. Absolutely recommend! Classy atmosphere with great food and service!
Absolutely fantastic dining experience! The food was incredible—everything came out hot, fresh, and fast. Our server Sam was amazing—super personable and knowledgeable. He walked us through the menu, made great recommendations, and invited us back for happy hour (which we definitely plan on doing!). The desserts looked mouthwatering, but we were just too full to indulge this time. Without a doubt, we’ll be returning. Highly recommend!
Came here for my Birthday dinner with my wife. Hutto and Jack Allen knocked it out the park! Hutto built a new lovely space where people can congregate and walk around an amenities pond. Well-lit , has water fountains and is viewable from Jack Allen's patio. Parking is simple thanks to the free, large, covered, and multi-level garage next door. The food at Jack Allen's was great. I wish there were just a few more seafood/fish options; they only offered one Ruby Trout and two Salmon plates at the time we went. But there was a seasonal short rib and it was amazing. The server was outstanding, the drinks were great and matched her descriptions and recommendations. The food came much faster than expected (granted they were not super busy), and everything looked and tasted great. We live in Pflugerville, but having a nice place in Hutto to go to instead of traveling farther west will be much appreciated!

I had lunch with some friends yesterday. The food was so DELICIOUS! Appetizers, Entrees and desserts! Our waitress was Jennifer. She was AMAZING. She knows the menu and explained it in great detail! She was so gracious to us!
Five of my closest friends dined at Jack Allen's in Hutto on Monday! It was a great experience! Our waitress Jennifer was the best I've ever had any where! She went above and beyond!! She helped with items from the menu, drinks, especially help with my friend with allergies to shrimp and being diabetic! What an awesome waitress and restaurant! Can't wait to dine there again!
We have been here once before and the food was just as delicious as I remember it! Our waitress was Jasmine and she was amazing!!! Had the pimento cheese, sooo Good, and chips with salsa! Yummy!! The crusted pecan salad was ugh soooooo yummy! Then we had the buttermilk pie and the Blondie brownie!! Drooling over here just thinking about it again!
Last Night my family and I arrived but only had an hour before another engagement. The hostess was very helpful in seating us quickly. The wait staff took our order and our food as served promptly. Our meal was very good.

We hit up happy hour and the appetizers were half price. Great deal. Drinks were impressive and the service was professional, informative and friendly. Seats, oddly felt to low to the ground....very nice atmosphere for Hutto. Will be back
The food was delicious and the service was great. The only downfall was that the steamed veggies were cold and still very firm when I received my plate. The order came out fairly quickly so I wouldn't think they would have been cold. My mom received her plate and hers were warm so maybe it was a small mistake but overall everything was good. I didn't ask to return them or reheat them and I'm sure they would have if I asked but I was hungry and decided it wasn't worth it at the time.
Food was very good. The redfish with crab and 5 cheese Mac with chicken were good. The appetizer of pimento cheese was not worth it. Give that a pass.

They charge a take out "packaging" fee... Overall I say my experience here was okay..... I called in to place an order for one. The woman on the phone was really nice and gave me pricing as well as told me where to go to pick it up once I got there. As someone more familiar with the Round Rock Pflugerville area as opposed to Hutto the parking here was a little annoying you had to park in the garage. Once I parked there weren't a ton of people there so I was able to go right up to the bar and get my food this was on a Sunday in mid-afternoon early evening. Paying for my check is when I noticed they charge a 5% take out packaging fee. Just low enough that people won't make a stink about it but still annoying. Do they also charge a fee if you dine in and ask for a to go box? I must say I've never seen anything like this before and it was a little bit agitating. Ignoring that I brought the food home and it wasn't bad at all. I got the chicken fried steak meal and everything was as described. All in all it wasn't a bad experience but I most likely won't be going back, the little annoyances and extra fees aren't worth it. Especially since the take out packaging was fine but not high quality enough to reuse or warrant a packaging fee.
Our first time at this new location. The restaurant is beautiful. The evening was a bit cooler and we sat on the patio. It is right next to the water and we enjoyed that. Unfortunately the food was not at it's usual level. 3 of the 6 in our party had the Mac and cheese with chicken and as my wife the chicken was more like croutons. My fat jack burger was good.
My wife had Chicken Fried Chicken, and I had the Black Bean Burger. They were both good. With the CFC, the gravy was good, but the veggies were soggy, over cooked. The BBB was good, but to me, it needed a little kick of spiciness. Maybe Adobo Pepper. We ordered $10.99 carrot cake expecting a 3 layerish wedge of a cake but instead received a mini bundt cake, which, in my opinion, was cheaply made. No texture and it appeared to be made out of a box mixture. Carrot cake has texture with bits of shredded carrots, but this method was like a regular cake texture. To get their texture, you blend carrots into the batter which makes it smooth. No way is this worth ~$11.00. Couldn't complain nor return because we got the carrot cake to go. Found this place to be too expensive for their food quality/taste. Overpriced food doesn't mean you'll get a Michelin star. Just found out that the green topping on top of the cake, get ready for this..., is a candy coated chocolate covered peanut. Like an M&M.
This is one of those places that you go to once and never go back to again. Went with a party of 8, took over 30 minutes to seat us and they weren’t even busy. The server was slow on refilling drinks and messed up on our order. We got some appetizers, one tiny scoop of pimento and 3 chips per plate nearly made me bust out laughing. Wish I had taken a pic of it. The food was presentable but not worth the wait or the price.

Me and my wife drove two hours to have dinner with my family. This place is really nice on the inside, the fireplace adds an awesome touch to the atmosphere that’s on the patio which is very spacious as well. Now the inside is another story, very crowded and some of the tables could be removed to make room for guests to move to their seats without bumping into the person at the table next to them. Let’s talk about the food, which was ok at best. I had what they call chicken niches, or nachos. Some Chips were burnt, and the chicken portion was small. The biggest problem that we had was our WAITRESS! She seemed frustrated and in a hurry to move us out of her area. I do respect the waiters, but this lady was RUDE! She would often deliberately avoided us to check on other tables. I can’t remember her name but it’s the taller, older lady, brown hair, kind of slim , with tattoos. She seemed to smile at the other guests but didn’t seem pleasant to me or my family. Didn’t want to make a scene. So we paid and left. Oh and we still tipped . Maybe she’ll be nicer to other people in the future.
