Margarita and her mother have everything orchestrated perfectly- from your arrival, the grounds, atmosphere, decor, cooking experience, feast and departure. You feel like you are in another world. You experience and learn their core values from generations passed down, fresh ingredients and just their awesomeness! I can’t wait to recreate the recipes and instill their beliefs into my daily life. They have truly touch our lives in so many ways. Our experience will go down as one of the best on our Italy adventure. Thank you so much!

I had the joy of visiting during a 50th birthday trip with a group of 7 close friends and what we experienced there was nothing short of magical. I have visited once before with my family and decided for this girl trip to encourage my friends that it was worth the return. It was not until we all left that everyone fully understood exactly why… I guess it’s the saying you have to experience it to understand. From the moment we arrived, Margherita and Veronica — a radiant mother-daughter duo — welcomed us into their serene world with open arms. Their warmth, authenticity, and deeply rooted connection to the land set the tone for an unforgettable day. Nestled in the most peaceful, Eden-like setting, we stepped into their kitchen and into a rhythm of life that felt both timeless and deeply grounding. Together, we prepared what I can only describe as the most delicious, soul-nourishing Italian meal I’ve ever had — using fresh, seasonal ingredients, many of which they grew or foraged themselves. The dishes we created together rivaled (and often surpassed) meals we’d had in restaurants throughout Italy — no small feat in a country renowned for its cuisine. But what truly set this experience apart was the intangible magic: the sense of presence, the reverence for simplicity, and the way these two women infused every moment with care, intention, and love. Margherita and Veronica live with a kind of Zen grace, reminding us that beauty and happiness are found in nature, in food, in connection — and most of all, in the present moment. We left La Quercia not just with full hearts and satisfied palates, but with a deep sense of peace and a desire to carry pieces of that experience home with us — the reminder that life’s truest pleasures are often the simplest: good food, good people, and being fully present. We had the most amazing cooking experience! Mother and daughter team of Veronica and Margherita expertly and effortlessly prepared a bountiful meal from the fruits of the harvest from the gardens on their stunning 20 acre estate. The well appointed and comfortable cooking studio (sofa, if you must sit during extravaganza) is next to the stunning villa and grounds where you can reserve a stay. All your senses will awaken as you witness and assist in the preparation of a meal that is simply elegant. The colors of the vegetables are vibrant, the smells aromatic, and the tastes delectable. You are then seated on their gorgeous veranda to enjoy the courses of meal served with wine and olive oil made on property. Let the time while away as you immerse yourself in this unique opportunity.

Our time at La Quercia Estate was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the countryside, this cooking class offered not only a hands-on culinary experience, but also a personal and soulful connection to the land, the ingredients, and the people who tend to them. Maghertia, our host and guide, welcomed us with warmth and generosity, making us feel like old friends returning home. Alongside her was her lovely mother, Veronica, whose calm presence and knowledge of traditional Italian cooking enriched the day. Together, they created an atmosphere that was both joyful and thoughtful, where laughter mingled with the aromas of onion, herbs, and fresh dough rising in the kitchen. We prepared handmade pasta, focaccia with sage and olive oil from their grove, and a rustic omelette that tasted like the essence of the season. As we cooked, we talked about life, about family, about change, and living life with less stress. Veronica spoke about the ingredients and the importance of choosing what is local and fresh. Her words and advice carried a kind of reverence that stayed with us long after the meal was done. Maghertia shared stories of her upbringing and her passion for simple, nourishing food. The day was not just about cooking but about being present, about connecting over shared work and shared meals. We left La Quercia with full hearts, full bellies, and a renewed appreciation for the magic of homegrown hospitality. I can’t recommend it enough.

La Quercia Estate exceed my wildest dreams of staying in Tuscany. The villa is absolutely breathtaking and well loved and taken care of. Upon arriving I could not believe the beauty of the property (even better than the pictures if you can imagine). Our group had a wonderful time here. Margarita, the hospitality manager is so sweet, welcoming, and accommodating. She was able to help us with anything and everything we needed. She was an absolute joy and we didn’t want to leave the villa! Highly recommend staying here to experience a taste of Impruneta.

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience at La Quercia! The estate is just gorgeous. I could’ve stayed there forever! Margherita made us feel welcome from the very beginning. She went above and beyond so many times during our time in Italy. She was truly amazing! We booked a cooking class with Veronica and we absolutely loved it. She was so warm and kind and fiercely passionate about cooking. We learned so much and cooked a delicious meal together. Great teacher and amazing food! I definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Tuscany. We cannot wait to come back for an even longer stay next time!

Our day at La Quercia Estate was the highlight of our trip to Italy. We did the cooking class and the mother and daughter team who own the estate and run this experience are amazing. We spent a full day learning to make fresh pasta and sauces, along with focaccia bread and chocolate cake. Many of the ingredients are grown on the estate. Many of the ingredients were being picked as we went along with the class and used in the dishes we helped prepare. We also enjoyed the amazing wine they make. After we enjoyed the day of cooking and learning we sat outside overlooking this amazing property enjoying an incredible meal we all had a hand in making. Our most enjoyable part of this experience was the time spent with the owners of this property. They make you feel so welcome and at home. The service they provide from the cooking techniques to the amazing meal they set up is second to none. We left this experience with knowledge of making the dishes we eat, but more importantly with new friends in this amazing family we had the pleasure of spending this incredible day with. If you are looking for a hands on cooking experience and a wonderful day in the hills of Tuscany, I can’t imagine you will find a better experience than this. Our family will hopefully spend a week at this amazing property in the future, because we certainly did not want to leave when the day was complete. This experience is worth every penny! Thank you both for making our trip to Tuscany and Florence perfect. The Villa and the grounds were beautiful. The cooking class was wonderful, maybe the best dinner we had all week! It is rare in life that a vacation destination/experience is what you can call life-changing but for me and my family staying at La Quercia estate was exactly that. We are well traveled, and came on this trip in pursuit of checking our bucket list for all of Italy’s best. Little did we expect that in hindsight our highlight would be our time spent at this villa. Even my sons (ages 20 and 24) agreed. Specifically, we all felt the cooking class was nothing short of a religious experience. These women have a gift which they share at the soul level in everything that they do - from sights, sounds and tastes. They enveloped all of our senses by sharing their beautiful appreciation of art/food and community by inviting us to share in a bonding, creative process that we didn’t expect to “feel.” We are forever grateful to have found this estate and moreover to have shared the time spent with these two inspiring women. The food was the best we tasted in all of Italy and the views are more than the eyes can take in. If you are coming to Tuscany for wine, food and beauty - you will get the best of all that here but be prepared to leave with what you might not have expected to find. For us it is a new understanding of “La Dolce Vita” which is less about chasing plans and more about living in a heightened state of presence where love and enjoyment come rushing . Margherita and Veronica will invite you to find that special place inside of you - and the entirety will leave you simply breathless. Just wow!!!!!
