Great BBQ. Got baby back and pork ribs. Sauce was very good. Baby back fell off the bone and had good bark. Got the potato all the way, and it was a good size. They give you a good portion size. Would recommend. The dinner rolls were very good as well. Atmosphere is fine

The ribs were out of this world! I had brisket a couple of weeks ago. It was not the (fantastic) quality I am typically used to when I get to enjoy my favorite kind of beef, slow cooked & tasty like you only can get in the Lone Star State! (Maybe I just got a bad cut.😬) If you are not starving before you show up, you will once you walk through the door and notice the heavenly smell coming from the pit! A fantastic real Texas barbecue place! It is a local chain in this area but do not let that scare you. It is very fine food. I like the cracked black pepper sausage and brisket. The people there are over-the-top friendly and polite. I go every time that I am in town for training.

The smell of great barbecue greats you as you step out of car like the welcome home hug from your spouse. You know from your first whiff that pleasure waits just inside the doors. At Spring Creek Barbecue you walk in, grab a tray, choose your meat from ribs, brisket, or chicken and then choose your sides. This was my first time at Spring Creek Barbecue and I went with ribs with sauce on the side, mustard potato salad and a dinner roll. The food was great. I loved the ribs and the potato salad. The next time I'm in Dallas I'm eating at Spring Creek Barbecue.

I come here only when I have coupons. If you don't get them in the mail, you can sign up for their loyalty rewards and they sent them all the time. I also get free meals quite often. I love their fresh bread they serve you at your table. The staff is friendly and everything is already made so there is no wait time.

We have been here many times, Me and my wife usually get the sliced brisket dinner. She got the loaded baked potato that counted as 2 sides but was huge and delicious. I got the green beans and coleslaw. Both were tasty. There was and issue with using my points to pay for the meal but the manager handled it there instead of referring me to the number on the contact for the points as many restaurants do.

I’ve had a lot of ribs in my life and today I had some of the best ribs ever. They were perfectly tasty without any BBQ sauce and each rib was full of meat. Portions were plenty as well. I also had a brisket sandwich on another occasion and that was slamming as well. Great tasting BBQ for a very reasonable price.

We created a massive feast by getting a full plate of signature ribs and a three-meat combination plate of black pepper sausage, brisket, and white chicken. Quarantine Mother’s Day, was a good day with great food from Spring Creek! The food as always is excellent, the people were all very friendly, even though they were just robbed:( . Still the people were so nice, my wife worked at spring creek and she said these rolls were cooked to perfection, so she was super impressed! All in all the food is always good, the service is great, and we will always return to eat at this Spring Creek! The pictures are the sides they give for free (pickles, jalapeños, onions), then the perfect rolls, and finally we got turkey, sausages and lean sliced brisket. Awesome!

I'm always impressed by their bbq. I'm pretty good at cooking my own but their baby back ribs i can't beat. Their brisket is pretty good also. The portions are not stingy and the sides are good, the ladies coming around with free rolls is a nice touch although I don't usually have room for another. If you want good BBQ at a fair price I would give them a try.

Visited Texas many of times and not found the bbq to be that great until now. This place was awesome. Great food, service, and atmosphere! Ordered a two meat combo of brisket and baby back ribs, their specialties. Both were moist and tasted very good. Had a side of pinto beans - tender in a tangy tomato sauce - plus mac n’ cheese. Unexpected bonus was the waitress who brought another warm roll to my table every few minutes.

During my first visit to this Spring Creek Barbeque, I was greeted, they sliced the meats for my brisket sandwich right in front of me. The potato salad, beans and brisket burger we're all delicious and perfectly portioned to their price. All the staff I interacted with we're super friendly. I would definitely be back again.

I had the baby back ribs plate for around $19. The ribs were more sweeter than what I had expected. The rolls were baked fresh and unlimited.

I ordered turkey but they gave me chicken. I just went with it and didn't say anything but definitely regret it. My friends ordered pulled pork and they recommended it. Best part of the meal was the bread and we got a free cobbler and ice cream. Food was pricey and taste was nothing special(at least the chicken) but service was really great. Hadn't been in several years. The meats were tasty, but the selection of veggies was VERY limited. The macaroni and cheese was cold, but when warmed up was pretty good. Really disappointed that the fried okra is now a "Premium" vegetable. The rolls were hot from the basket, but the ones served on the plate were not.

The Thing I Like the most is ...The Hot Rolls - & as many as you want, which is something you can't find at other Bar B Que places. the one I am reviewing has been in business at that same spot for a Very Long Time. At least 15 or so years. So it's nice to see them still in business and going strong. I don't get to dine there very often, but when I do. I know I will have a good experience. The Food is freshly served and Always delicious. The staff there is always friendly and helpful. More than enough Parking spaces. Well lit and a warm atmosphere. Lots of families and some people that are dating tend to dine there. So it's a real pleasure to experience. OKAY so I'm going to add one last thought to this review. I Really miss the excitement and enthusiasm that the staff at Spring Creek used to exhibit. Now days it feels more like a lubys cafeteria or a funeral home. I'm not sure which one. Believe me. I've dined at Spring Creek off and on since at least 2000 and it's just not the same. Not to mention that I spent almost 70.00s for just myself and my girlfriend for two meals. I am seriously thinking about going back to and staying with Hard Eights BBQ, at least there they doesn't feel so.....Dead.

Great meat case to select your meats from. I chose brisket mix & sausage. You can choose between lean, marbled or mix for brisket. There is regular or black pepper sausage. Sides were also tasty. Green beans reminded me of my grandmother's. They continued to bring bread to the table. Excellent place for a quick lunch.

This is chain BBQ but that actually use real wood to smoke their meats. You can smell the smoke when you walk in. There is nothing special about their food. It’s not great but it’s not bad either. If you want BBQ and this is your only option, it will get the job done.

The service was excellent, the brisket was divine... the pepper sausage I didn't really like very much and the Mac and cheese was lacking the main ingredient cheese! When I think of BBQ and sides, I think they should be almost decadent with flavor. The Mac and cheese was lacking the coating that I personally prefer, along with being pretty bland. They did have a nice assortment of peppers, onions, and pickles. I was also missing a spicy BBQ sauce option. They do have a seperate station just for cobbler and ice cream which added a nice touch.

The meat is amazing! Smoke flavor and tender. But if this is what a loaded potato is for $8.95 then don’t order it. The Dasher obviously didn’t bring it or the person putting to go orders together missed it. Other than that it is amazing food.

Decided to try this place on a whim. It wasn't far from our hotel. We checked out the Google reviews & they were all decent. We were eager to try their pulled pork, but they were out! It was going to be about 45 minutes, so I chose the two item combo with brisket & peppered sausage instead. Both were delicious! The brisket was so tender! The sides (mac & cheese and potato salad) were ok. This was a nice place to try at least once.

The sides were okay in flavor. Meats were really tender and delicious! Bread rolls are nice and warm and more come around in a basket. I've been coming here, to this location, for over 30 years. The floors in the backroom are still creaky. (Note: the floor need fixing before someone gets hurt or sues this location.) The BBQ is decent. Not the best I've had and definitely not the worst I've had. The guy at the meat counter was not helpful. He mumbled and I couldn't understand him. I resorted to pointing. The other staff members were extremely friendly. This wouldn't be the first place I would recommend, but it is an option. I got a one meat plate and a kids plate and my meal came out to $31. My ribs were really really dry.

I don't know if it was because of the winter storm the day before and there were really no customers, but my ribs were not fresh. They were dry. The brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage were tasty, but didn't stick out. The person cutting the meat ignored me when I asked for bbq sauce. Apparently you get the sauce from the guy serving the sides. The highlight of this place was the guy making the fresh bread. He was super friendly and the bread was soooo tasty. I wanted to like this a lot more than I actually did.... About 2 months prior, I ordered takeout from this location and it was phenomenal! This visit was dine in and the food was no where near as tasty. Both of the side items tasted like they were prepared the day before abd stored overnight. The flavor was really good, but freshness was not optimal. The servers were top notch!!!

When asked to correct it I was given the option for a side of meat. When I went to the line to get the meat, I noticed the potatoes being made were larger than the one I received. I paid a lot of money and I wish had went elsewhere. The brisket wasn’t warm, it was dry and looked like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp for hours ! I feel like I wasted 15$ and I’m still hungry cause I couldn’t eat it. I love BBQ and this wasn’t real BBQ to me. The staff was very nice but that doesn’t make up for poor quality food. bBQ should be freshly cooked and ready to serve. Hutchins, pecan lodge, Mike Anderson you won’t have this problem like I did today. I won’t be back and I recommend everyone to test and look at your food before you leave the restaurant. That was my mistake and I wish I had checked before I left with my take out but should we as customers have to do that just to make sure we are getting quality food. I guess so

This is probably the worst service I've ever had at any restaurant. The food was dry and tasted like it was sitting for a long time. I asked for help and was told someone would be with me. I waited over 20 min and still nothing! I left the establishment with no acknowledgement after telling an employee that i never got assistance. I am from out of town and next time I'm in town I will not come here again.

Went in shortly before the 'lunch break' time. Person taking order at the front of the line very uninterested in his job; barely repeated order back to everyone in my party (3 of us). I asked for a Military discount from the cashier; who totally ignored my request; just handed me myy bill (OVER $40 for 2 chopped beef sandwiches and 1 baked potato). The ONLY bright star of the day was the server, who was walikng about, with the FRESH, HOT rolls! I will not recommend this eatery to anyone; instead, tell them to find a "SOUL MAN'S" barbecue place. I have been here in the past, as a guest at a 'sales meeting' where someone else paid the tab. It has gone steadily downhill. Rethink ANY trips here!

I love Spring Creek! I am a Silver loyalty member and our to go Spring Creek is Lake Worth area, today unfortunately we were around this area so we stopped at the Irving location and our experience there was completely horrible! The food was over cooked, all of it from the sausage was dry, the chicken was burnt and not juicy at all, Mac n cheese was so dry, even the okra was over cooked, they all seemed days old! The sweet tea tasted old and was foggy with a weird taste! I asked them if they could please make new tea and the girl looked at me like I was crazy, and started mocking me with her friend as I stepped away (yes I saw her) and yet they never made new tea! The girl with the bread only went to the new tables skipping everyone else around that’s been there. Overall the Irving Speing Creek has been the worst location I been to and I will not be going back. Also, the manager was already fed up with another customers as I heard him tell one of the workers to hurry on the order because “she’s super pissed off” as we were trying to order our food. I can only imagine why. Spring Creek is delicious but not all locations operate the same and Irving location is not worth going to!!

The BBQ ribs was burnt. I don’t even think they serve burnt ends. The ribs wasn’t juicy like the picture. I basically ate one rib that was in the middle of the cut and stopped eating. I hate to throw money away like that. I have pictures if proof is needed. The macaroni noodles was yellow dry not creamy and the potato salad was not loved on. The bread was good and warm even though Door Dash just left it on the porch claiming “no contact policy”!

First, all I wanted and paid for was a tiny sandwich and a small amount of fries. My issue here this time was the fact that I saw a very young-appeared to be high school student make my sandwich and wrap with his bare hands. I immediately asked if it could be remade with gloves. Also, while I was waiting. The young girl that was going around asking ppl if they wanted fresh rolls only asked “certain ppl”, including those who were there for the same reason if they wanted fresh rolls, but clearly ignored the black and brown ppl that were sitting and waiting in the lobby as well. I hate I had to observe this, but I’m VERY attentive, and this bothered me… They’ve even also ALWAYS asked me if I wanted a drink while I wait for my food. The “other ppl” had drinks while they waited. I spent over $17 for a sandwich and a small amount of fries!! A drink would’ve been nice I’ve been coming here for years, but I’ll NEVER be back… Please train your youth workers real customer service without discrimination! Otherwise your store will start losing customers and money…

I’m so pissed when you go to this place never order to go with out checking your order. They literally messed up my order gave me all wrong sides. I told them potato salad and baked beans. They gave me corn and green beans. Then the 3 meat combo looked like a kids plate. I’m so pissed 😡 if I could have brought this plate back for a full refund I would have.

What can I say. I guess I got spoiled by the legendary Terry Black's and Pecan Lodge in Deep Ellum and my local favorite Big Al's on Inwood next to Planet Ford. I got the hankering to try Spring Creek as I always get their buy one get one free rib dinner in the ValPak envelope every month. What a huge mistake!! Upon entering this restaurant, we were promptly greeted and welcomed by staff behind the counter. They advised that both dinners did not need to be ribs, so I opted for the baby back ribs, and my dining partner chose the brisket. We both chose the bbq beans, and for my second side, I chose the potato salad, and my partner chose the cole slaw. The beans tasted like they came straight out of can, and they didn't seem like they were cooked as they were hard, and the sauce they were in was extremely watery. The potato salad was the shining star of the meal. The rolls on our plate were hard and old, and eventually, they came around with hot, fresh ones towards the end of our meal. The cole slaw had no flavor at all. The brisket also was bland, and dipping it on the bbq sauce only elevated the flavor slightly. The ribs were extremely fatty, tough, and greasy. They were old as they were not tender and did not fall off the bone like I expected them to. I will not be visiting this chain restaurant ever again.
