Every return to Texas involves a 1st stop at Whataburger. This Irving location was fantastic! Food was well-prepared & fresh. Staff is great! It's clear everyone here takes pride in their roles. Well done & thank you!! If you haven't incorporated a Jr & fries into your breakfast menu, fix that!

Please hire more people at this location for the night shift. The food is very good and made fresh to order and the service is honestly pretty reasonable for only having two people around juggling drive thru, online orders, and the lobby. I imagine they get a lot of upset customers, though, especially being so close to the airport. The workers don't deserve to suffer because of management's lack of consideration.

Tried ordering my food on the intercom no one would assist I pulled to the window the lady was very polite and nice and took my order with no disruptive behavior, she was very professional and helpful through a different situation. Thank you Whataburger God Bless 🙏🏾✨️

Best Whataburger I ever been too. I am a nurse, so I work a hectic schedule from 12-18 hour shifts and it does not matter what time I come here 8pm or 3am. The staff is always friendly and the drive through is always fast. Only place were I have confidence what I order is actually in the bag.

Clean outside and inside. Parking lot well maintained. That makes a difference when choosing a place it says alot about the company, and management. It was crowded but able to place my order and received my order fairly quickly. And the person that took my order and gave me my order was nice and gave me a smile. That doesn't sound like a big deal but these days it is!

Late night dinner with my husband Clean counter top,clean fountain drink area,tables were clean. Love that I didn’t have to clean my own table or ask them to clean it for me. The cashier was very friendly. And she was very pregnant and was working very well. Her name was Kimberly. We love that this location has 24hr indoor eating after 12pm. Every offer Whataburger dine in is closed. Me and my husband live in oak cliff area and we drive all the way here. At 1:30am

My favorite hamburger place by far. Had breakfast taquitos this time. Are till I was full. So much good food. Was here the night before and had burgers, and there's no better burger. I'm definitely in the Whataburger camp of best burgers. Helpful hint, get the chicken gravy to dip your fries. Omgoodness.

It has been a VERY long time since I have been to a place that has hard working staff who work in unison and who pay attention to detail and are also hard at work cleaning. (Nowadays all you see are young people hanging out on their phones, goofing off, and usually things are not clean.) This crew works together as a team to get your order out and keep the place clean also - our food was GREAT and we will be back!

Excellent service from drive through lady didn’t catch her name. she went above and beyond for me on something I wanted and didn’t stop until she completed her mission to satisfy my “need” also shout out to her manager for assisting her to get what I wanted. It is always a great hamburger and with jalapeños, fresh bread, fresh meat, crunchy, lettuce, all fresh man great fries and they get that spicy ketchup. Awesome always a good experience at Whataburger now pretty much the same.

This has been my go to Whataburger for over 15 years. My last few visits were awful. Long waits and staff not courteous. Had to give 1 star. Gave it another go at 12:30 pm lunch on a Sunday. Long drive through line and thought here we go again. One car must have ordered a big order which is a big pet peeve of mine. Go inside if.you have a large order. After 1 car moved the line was moving much quicker as it should. Good job today! Friendly staff too. Keep it up! Well deserved edited rating 5 stars

Great service regardless of the location. This location inside the Dallas Airport always has a line. Person after person the cashier didn’t even fail to make me laugh. Food was hot. Tea was nicely sweet and the coffee, yummmmm🖤🤘🏼

Stopped here thinking I was gonna get a cold brick for a burger and guess what? It was hot and fresh including the french fries!!!!!!!! The only thing I would ask management to work on is when they serve customers in the dining area please don't act so stingy with the condiments. Overall still a good experience :)

We've had good experiences with employees and service definitely. The food is great, so far-I haven't sampled all of the menu. If I could change one thing about this location it would be ability to move traffic a little better. They have a great location next to 183 and are far enough from an exit to not have lots of slowdown and cross-traffic shenanigans, so it's completely understandable and the amount of traffic is out of their control. I will say that we've had more than one visit where we've gone into the shop to order, because of the line. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I've seen vehicles (plural) that arrived at the same time we did, be done and on their way long before we were. If that could be addressed, that would be good to see. These are my experiences, so your mileage may vary. Overall, great store :)

No complaints. Everything was good. Food was hot. Not sure why they stopped bringing the tray of ketchup and napkins. I wanted spicy ketchup but they handed me the regular and walked off. Never bothered to ask if I preferred the spicy. A little irritating. They need to start bringing the tray out so we can make the selection ourselves.

Update: I still frequent this location. I still go inside to pick up my order because it's faster than sitting in the drive through line. It's not fast but it's good. Original review: The food is good and the people are nice but on my visit on Friday night I had to wait 30 minutes to receive the food I placed an online order for. The app started it would be ready by 7:50pm but I didn't get my order until 8:20 and if I hadn't checked the contents I would've missed out on getting several items from my order. Next time I will skip ordering in advance and just go through the drive thru.

This was one of strangest Whataburger experiences I’ve ever experienced. I placed my order and asked for a cup of water. The lady said she needed to know what size cup so she knew how much to charge me. Usually they don’t charge for water. I then told her that I just wanted a small courtesy cup. She then gave me a large cup and didn’t say a word. Next I went to some napkins, but didn’t see any; anywhere. I asked an employee where the napkins were. They said that they were completely out. I thought they were joking, but they said that they were being serious. When they brought my order over, it came with a bunch of napkins. Go figure lol! The burger was good as usual.

I asked for fresh cooked cheeseburger and a reheated cheeseburger was brought to me first. I rejected the cheeseburger and the manager had their sandwich remade. This sandwich was delicious and the meat was cooked fresh. I was satisfied!

I always get mad when they blow it but I keep coming back. All I can say is make sure you get what you pay for BEFORE driving away from the window or you will have to go inside and wait a VERY long time. If you dine in there isn’t much you can do but roll with it. My girlfriend got a salad that tasted like soap today. They made it right but it still spoils your dinner.

Normally, I have decent to great experiences at this place. I use curb side pick up. Today, I waited more than 45 minutes, before I finally went in to the restaurant to check on my order. They gave it to me. I thought I saw them put the fresh fries into the bag. It must have been for someone else because when I got back to car the fries were luke warm as well as the burgers. By this time, I was late and I didn't have time to take the food back it. The food had to be microwave.... not the best tasting food and not what I paid for. Not even an apology for being late or for me to have to come in to check on my order. Too bad this facility doesn't appreciate their customers more.

The person who took my order was polite, however, the person at the person at the drive thru window handing over the food seemed annoyed. I received spilled and not full drinks. I was handed my food in a rushed manner and good thing I checked bc I was missing 2 items. When I asked for missing items they were handed over in spilled container as well. I am a paying customer and I cannot fully trust when it seems like a problem to request missing items. I’ve had better experiences at the neighboring stores.

I order a 3pc chicken strip meal for my kid and i literally just got one chicken strip and a very soggy piece of bread highly disappointed and not worth paying almost 20 dollars. Will never order from this location again and want my money back.

We waited 45 minutes for 5 burgers with fries and when we finally got our order, we were missing 2 burgers, 2 fries and sauces. Most of the food was cooked alright and when made aware of the problem there was no hassle and we received the rest of our food about 5-10 mins later.

They couldn’t get our delivery order correct ie add ons. It was disappointment bc clearly what we ordered is on the receipt attached to the bag. Two stars bc at least they didn’t totally mess up our orders for a group of four. What’s worse to me is the total cost of a meal that I couldn’t enjoy (delivery fee and tips for a meal adds up!)

Online order, curbside pickup. Promised at 12:59pm. At 1:14pm I went inside to inquire about my order. 10 min later received order. Missing entire meal. Let staff know, they brought out a bag, still missing items. Left and once I was able to open up bags… burgers missing cheese, wrong condiments, no gravy in chicken meal. Unfortunate.

Normally love this location because even with a long drive thru line they get your order right but today since we know the drive thru order is long we decided to order curbside pick up.. arrived at designated time and the worker brought out our drinks but said the food wasn’t ready. 20 minutes pass and the worker never came back with an update.. decided to go inside only to find our food sitting there bc the worker went on break. Communication needs to be better.

This whataburger has always been our go- to whataburger place but lately, the wait just to get your order has been long. I can understand if it's busy but most of the time when we do dine in, it's not busy and it takes a while just to get our orders out to us and my food is usually cold by that time. I don't complain because I'm just not that type of person. I just don't understand why we keep going back for more disappointments. I guess I keep hoping it will get to what it used to be but no luck so far and the kids at the counters act like they don't even want to work.

2 days later. I order for pick up. I trust them to t Do the order right and well I opt out for mustard and replace it with mayo. Again there's no one in the drive through. No pressure of any orders. In my burger there's mustard. I didn't want mustard. I opted for mayo and ketchup. So only mustard in in my burger. Like cmon. Is their a language barrier through the computer. Can they not read the order right. There is no pressure from a busy drive through. Owner please. Me as a costumer am I doing something wrong? Why am I getting the wrong order. What will you do to make it right, please? I haven't done anything wrong g to get the wrong order. I'm always polite.

Ordered at the counter at 2135. Order in hand at 2155 with a pink burger and lukewarm fries. 2 stars for the gentleman that was on his break who apologized for the wait. There were a good amount of employees working at the time. The system may need a refresh. Whataburger is known to have a longer wait time because it's made fresh, but this time around they dropped the ball.

Late dinner: We arrived about 10:45, and our meals were not ready until about 11:25. And even then our meals were incomplete and made in error (wrong items). Everybody else had the same problems. 5 employees on duty. We will not return to this location. UPDATE: I knew I'd give them another chance so I just did...the very nice cashier didn't know the difference between a shake and a malt. Insisted they were the same thing. Probably nothing the grill cook or the fryer cook needs to worry about, but the cashier???? She entered it as a shake and wouldn't change it because she insisted they were the same things. Sad. Obviously Management has some work to do. So I went to Subway which was more crowded with happy customers. Subway had more business than that Whataburger location...you know something's way off base when that happens!

the experience i had was not very good. the service was very bad. i was waiting in line over 20 minutes to get some food. the restaurant was not even full. there was only one couple in front of me and they were waiting tho. and when i was finally getting help they were not very friendly. and they where even giving attitude just for asking for ketchup. but over all after waiting long the food was good. but not worth it if you have to wait over 40 minutes.

Ordered 3 burgers 2 of them where spicy chicken sandwiches one of them was fresh and one was all dry y understand that it can happen, so I took the bad one with one bite to the counter and told the cashier that it wasn't fresh , she just answered that it just came out of the fryer , didn't even say anything else , told her I didn't want it and left it on the counter, no one approach us to ask us for a refund or at least say sorry, I did pay for something I didn't eat and it's not fair, hope manager can instruct better their employees, just to be more comprehensive of the situations and give better answers , it was clear that I could compare 2 sandwiches one was cold and one was hot , and her answer really pissed me off , didn't got the cashiers name but it's a girl with a really small jaw

We stopped at this Whataburger location on our way back home from a vacation in Mexico. Unfortunately, it was the worst Whataburger experience I've ever had in Texas. The burgers were lukewarm and almost room temperature, and the fries were soggy and cold. It took us nearly 10 minutes to get the ranch dressing we ordered with one of the meals. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but the service was slow, and the trash cans were overflowing. The tables were dirty, and most of the employees seemed indifferent and uninterested. I would suggest trying a different Whataburger location. This particular one does not reflect well on the brand, and it seems like they don't care about the quality of the food they are serving.

I had originally given this restaurant a 5 star review. Had to change it to all ones after the incredibly awful service I received tonight. I waited for 30 minutes over my mobile order. This is the worst experience I’ve ever received here and I come almost every single day. Louis if you’re reading this look into who was the manger/working mobile orders on 1/7/2024 at 7:00 PM and fire them. I will never come back to this location again and I’m a regular here. This is the most stressed I’ve ever been in a restaurant. Do not come here!

Went inside after waiting outside for 15 min and not moving. No one in front of me and still took over 20 min to get my order wrong. Food was missing, and received attitude when I asked for the items I ordered, when asked for ketchup, it was thrown in the bag while my hand was ready to receive it. Poor attitudes, wish I would have had read the reviews that all tell me they are slow and honestly don’t seem to care if you wait. Whataburger is normally a must go to for myself and my family, maybe it was a bad day, maybe it’s just a bad location.

Today on 1-25-24 at 6:52pm I visited this location. I pulled up to the drive thru & a young girl kept saying hello very low toned. She said it a few times before I realized she was talking to me because I've always been greeted ! I thought she was on the phone talking about hello . Anyway I waited in line for 15mins only to receive cold fries 🍟 and I mean Cold . HIGHLY OFFENDED BY THAT I ordered mayonnaise only on my chicken sandwich Not unless it evaporated..I had none . Last time I visited here I ordered a chicken salad only to leave with a plain salad because they forgot the chicken NEVER AGAIN, WILL I BRING MY HARD EARNED MONEY HERE

UPDATE They have made improvements I think. I was disappointed recently because you can’t review the order before paying since they got new credit card terminals that do not display the order but so far they haven’t messed up my order and they also pay attention so you don’t have to or repeat yourself So we’ll see. I can’t speak for the drive through as I haven’t used it [PREVIOUS] You better eat here because the drive through will certainly get your order wrong since 2010 and probably day 1. Even if you order online. I got home and and took back and got a refund last time. It’s not me either, I order the simplest possible item to help them not mess up. Number one with cheese, nope too hard for them and this is the place where they train managers.

Ordered food through Uber eats. Uber eats service was excellent, and the reasturant wasn't. Did not serve drink or milkshake with order but charged anyway. It's a huge disappointment by whataburger standards.

7/27/2023... usually have a great experience with great service. This particular morning, I had to wait over 25 minutes in the drive-thru. Seems way too long for just a tequito and breakfast bowl. Had to park and go inside to wait more for my order. Then, after I get to my destination, the entire order was wrong.

Please don’t come here. I was double charged for my order, I go inside to be told they can’t refund and I have to call the office whatever that means. I’m in there and I ask for my drinks and the manager still has the audacity to question if I got my drinks or not. Which I hadn’t received after receiving my drinks, and after being double charged they refused to give me any more than 2 spicy ketchups. After being charged $80 for 4 meals I will never consider this location again and please do yourself a favor and don’t come here.

Waited 30 minutes total at an empty drive thru line on a Sunday night. I was asked to hold to order despite there only being one car in front of me and at least 4 people working visibly in the front of restaurant. I know things being made to order can take a bit longer but I can’t make sense of why it took 15 minutes alone to do so. And then another 16 to pay and get my order at the window with no offer of apology nor explanation. Really disappointed and frustrated with the lack of communication and poor customer service.

I’ve now completed my 5th mobile order at this location and they have gotten my order wrong for the 3rd time in a row. They missed everything from simply adding my requested sauces to forgetting full meals and drinks. They are decent at best in person and absolutely worthless when doing a mobile order. They even got a salad wrong once. I absolutely love Wataburger and this location is a bad representation of what Wataburger truly is.

This is our go-to Whataburger, but wait times are ridiculously long lately and today we came home with the totally wrong order. We had the correct number of sandwiches, but not even close to what was ordered. Now driving back to get our food. Really?

Strawberry shakes taste bland. It’s usually a vibrant pink from other locations. This location is almost a pale white… and my food was cold and they didn’t label which order was extra onions…if they even added extra at all. They gave us whatever they wanted and sent us on our way.

The drive through is extremely slow! Bad bad bad service , no one wants to wait 45 minutes on “fast” food especially when there are other fast food joints that are actually fast. Whataburger is going downhill if it doesn’t get its act together and make their service faster!

They name it right, WHATABURGER 😲😲 A burger/sandwich with bun on one side 😂 Order 4 spicy chicken sandwich waited for 15-20 min and still didnt get a fresh output and one of the sandwich with one side bun... this was my first time in whataburger and it will be the last.

Only 2 cars in front of me took almost 20+ minutes to get my order. When I paid and was given a receipt, I noticed it said grilled jalapenos. The burgers should have been plain. I advised them of the error and was assured my order did not have grilled jalapenos on it. Instead of making a new correct sandwich. They just took the jalapenos off. You could still taste it and it made me Ill within minutes. I would have called and made a complaint but they took my receipt and never gave it back. I will never return to this location.

I love the food at this place, but the service is getting worse every day. Now it takes almost an hour to get a burger and some fries. There was no line at the drive-thru, nor were there any people inside (about 3 people, and they already had their food).

Took forever waiting in the drive through line. Got told to pull forward. 2 cars left while we still waited. All I ordered was 1 combo meal. Went in and asked about my order. Looked at the receipt checked and they hadn't even started my order. Got my money back. Sorry service no excuse they had plenty of people.

This is my last time coming here. I can deal with the wait but they always mess up my order. They messed up my order twice today & then proceeded to give me two dry patties with no cheese. Don't bother with this one unless you just want tenders or fries.

I had to do an edit guys and gals. So yeah they have high schoolers working there but thats not a reason for me to pull up to the window and they not have my order at all. Yes at all. She asks if I had a crispy comething but I had to stop her and I told her no I had a double patty patty melt meal. Long story short it took almost 20 minutes and I got this.

I was overcharged and after I brought it up, the person seemed bothered and just said I'm sorry about that I can't do anything. The manager was there and I asked about the overcharge and she she seemed really bothered and said well thats what you asked for. I tried explaining the overcharge and she seemed so annoyed. At first, I began writing this review as the normal "bad customer service and unfriendly atmosphere" review, but after typing out my thoughts I have found a much more prudent line of thought to give. A line of thought, not to the public to read but for management to read. One that will soon be sent to their franchise owner, and corporate, so they can handle this issue with swift and decisive movements. Management. Your building's drive through line is made in a dangerous manner. The first and second windows are properly placed, but for the purpose of moving a car forwards from the second window to the third paying customers will find themselves in a precarious situation. It is reasonable to say that a majority of drivers drive sedans, yet this is Irving Texas. People have families, businesses, and trades to which they drive large SUVs, Light to Midsized Trucks, and Delivery Vans. For a sedan to sit at the third window, and any of the above listed that is NOT a sedan to sit at the second window finds themselves unable to leave if the SUV, Truck, or Van at the second window obtains their food before the sedan at the third window. A paying customer sitting at the third window should not be made to feel the pressure to move forwards from that window to let a truck behind them past, nor should it be the responsibility of the next vehicle to know that the sedan exists so that an accident does not occur as the hypothetical sedan reverses back to the third window. IF a truck, SUV, or van is sitting at the third window, NO other vehicle will make it to the second window. There is not enough room. This is, as you should know by now as Whataburger has done business in this building many years now, an uncomfortable situation. Management. Corporate. Franchise Owner. YOU are NOT paying these high school and early college aged employees enough for them to feel pressure when they cannot take orders, or handle business when your Drive Thru policy is failing to be a comfortable situation for paying customers to obtain the food they ordered. The fact that they cop attitudes, stress, and groan when customers decline to move, are agitated by the instructions they were given, and are not getting their food in a timely manner is not their fault. It is MANAGEMENT'S FAULT for pressuring them to do business in a substandard setting, while MANAGEMENT moves paying customers around their drive thru lane or even into the parking lot in order to send corporate false numbers on how quickly an order was completed. This did not happen with me. I stayed in the second window as the car ahead of me was moved to the third window, and then forward more towards the door as the truck between myself and them turned right to drive around them, and then once more when they were asked to move. I sat. I let the sensor record how long it took me to obtain my food as your staff complained about being unable to do their job and worry about getting into trouble for it. Minimum wage employees are not to be blamed for the failures of their management. With this review, you are on notice, and I hope that is helpful to all who read it.

Ordered a #1 combo with cheese. Got home 10 min later & the fries are tough, chewy and taste like they were cooked hours ago. The burger had zero veggies and the thinnest smearing of mustard I've ever seen & on only 1 bun. Should be zero stars for zero quality.
