Good fish place. Their fish taste great. I tried their Cajun catfish and it was good. The service was excellent as well. It didn’t take long to get the food. All the food tasted great. We’ll definitely come back here.

I had y'all's chicken plate this past Friday the food was good except the beans that come with it didn't have a one speck of salt on them y'all really need to work on salt in your beans

No grilled or baked fish available here, as they are at other Catfish Kings in TX. (Looking at you, Mt. Pleasant) Everything is fried. Fries and hush puppies were only okay. Cole slaw is awful. That said, the fried catfish is good, better than the sides and next time, it's the only thing I will order.

Pretty good but the coleslaw is always hot, this is a cold food , it is not at the proper temp. For this type of slaw. Fish was very good ! Service was okay nothing outstanding or above average, like if the person taking your money and order is bothered by you they probably need a new job. Atmosphere very very quiet,

I wasn’t impressed. My Oklahoma Fried Channel-Cat has never been matched. I’m sure the fish is frozen then thawed. The shrimp appeared to have been the same. My expectations were likely too high as I noticed this place has been here forever. I also didn’t expect NOT to have table service. They delivered the meal but when I asked for cutlery I was directed to the counter in the front where the packages of plastic-ware was. I also managed to fetch my beverage refills. So, if this is what you’re into, give em a try. This little watery just didn’t matchup to the rest of my super friendly experiences at all of the other businesses I visited while on my short overnight trip to Jacksonville, Texas. Yeehaw. Love the folks here. It reminds me so much of Sulphur, Oklahoma!

Me and my wife ate there today it started out good but then she found a brown hair in her food it wasn't ours for sure because im bald and her hair is black. Just be careful and check your food. This was October 22 time was 210 pm. Had to edit this it was the Jacksonville Tx restaurant.

Friend talked me into going even though I do fast food. Pressed chicken, hash puppies are horrible even if not burnt, and drinks are way to small.

Honestly really disappointed with this place. I found it by chance while Im on a road trip and decided to stop and grab some dinner. The front desk worker was pretty friendly and hyped up the place saying people drive "a hundred miles to come by". I was pretty excited for some good catfish and got the 4 piece plate. The wait was pretty long for how empty it was. Once I get the order and open it up I find 4 tiny fillets and they are blander than plain oatmeal. Literally not a speck of flavor at all. Not even 2 packets of lemon juice saved that catfish. The only thing that even came close to saving the plate were the beans and they were also the most seasoned thing there. Honestly, I cant reccommend this place unless you are looking for tasteless catfish to cleanse your pallet for a different meal. French fries were ok I guess

I went thru the drive thru and ordered 2 super catches which I always do with a small side of okra... Each super catch is supposed to have 9 pieces of fish. I did not check my order because I have never had an issue, however to my surprise when I got home I only had 4 pieces of fish in each dinner. So.i called back immediately and their response was we are closed ... no apologies, we will fix this tomorrow, instead they acted like it was my fault...

Drove 40 miles one way to get mothers day meal. Ordered 2 4piece fish meal special catch and one regular catch with 3 extra Cole slaw to go. When I got home order I received was 2 orders of shrimp and chicken strip basket with no Xtra Cole slaw. I was first customer at 11 am. If get to go order suggest you check before you leave restaurant

I ordered something simple, the special catch which went up on price I believe from 4.95 to $13... No complaints I paid, the fish was so thin I literally was served mostly batter. Attempted to call and the manager refused to speak to me, I heard him all who's calling I said a customer of course and he said tell them he's not there. I didn't have an attitude I just wanted to give feedback.
