I am so glad that Jacksonville, Tx now has this wonderful restaurant. The owner is awesome! He has made me an off the menu salad many times. They always aim to please.

You know since this place has been open i never went until today i was like ehh ill give it a try and whoa did not expect that the food was good and surprisingly very well prepared i dont know why people dont talk about this place but if you never been there before u should try it very good 🙌👐

I visited the Jacksonville store at 5:30pm. The store was very clean. The employees were friendly and helpful. I think this store is the cleanest store I have been to recently.

Alway greeted when you walk in the door... Very polite employees...always ready to serve you... Great food.. Haven't ordered anything that was bad or I didn't like and yes I am a very picky eater.... This location is very clean... Someone is always there to help if you need anything.. I would recommend this location... Like any news business that first opens there will always be new training so be patient show some respect have some mercy on them.. These are teens trying to serve this community... We go here after church a lot and have a great time of fellowship..

The employee, Bailee was great! Went in around 6 last night and had no clue what i wanted. She gave me a great reccomendatiom of angus beef & cheese and it was the best thing i've had! Props to her for managing to know what i would like!!

Good food, good service, clean atmosphere. Very friendly staff, always keeping the customers satisfaction in mind. I eat there at least once a week, sometimes more often. Use "Lotz4Me" to earn free stuff or money off my meals.

The 2 Gentleman that waited on us were professionals, the bread was baked to profession, and made just right and "FRESH", I've been in a lot of Schlotzsky's and the one in Jacksonville,Texas is by far the best ever👍, way to go when visiting there if you want a good sandwich guys👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟..

Didn't rate atmosphere because I use the drive thru and mobile ordering. But as for the food, always great. I don't think I've ever been disappointed with Schlotzsky's, or orders something from there and thought afterwards, "I've had better"... It's just really good

I have always loved eating at Schlotzsky's. When we were told there was one coming to Jacksonville I couldn't wait. The first week they opened, I am sure that I ate lunch there 4 out of the 5 days I was at work. I have not been disappointed yet. The staff are super nice and really take the time to listen and will also recommend a sandwich when the choice gets too hard. They are adding and changing the menu often, so the choice of something new or stick with a classic is sometimes difficult. I love their chips, they burst with flavor..my favorite is Cracked pepper. Oh and get the app....makes it worth it if you eat there often. Free sandwich every 7th visit. Enjoy!!!

I was enjoying my sandwich when I realized my car was being stolen, so instantly I began to panic. (Manic) I informed the staff and they instantly took off on foot and one in their vehicle in pursuit after the thief. They ended up calling for back up and had a 7 hour car chase that I of course was a part of. My car was gained back after one of the managers dove out of a moving car and gained control of mine which lead to a 20 car pile up with many casualties. After that my car was totally destroyed but after the whole situation was over they handed me a set of keys and said, “Take the reigns kid” and they proceeded to give me the Schlotzky’s mobile, I will forever be great full to this establishment. Best staff EVER

We decided to stop by this location on the way to Palestine. We were so glad we did! Taste and quality was exactly like the 90s sandwich we always got at Schlotzkys. We no longer go to the Henderson location. It's terrible. We will definitely be back!

If you're looking for a quick meal, friendly service, clean place, and of course a great tasting sandwich. SCHLOTZSKY'S IS THE PLACE.

The General Manager of this store location in Jacksonville, Tx was so friendly to deal with. She worked professionally with me until we could figure out a missing credit charged on my credit card. It turned out that I was not charged twice on a purchase and everything cleared. I wanted to mention the professionalism and kindness of the General Manager, Melissa, as she worked with me to figure things out. The store was also, clean, the service, and food were great!

This particular schlotskys has really gone down hill and in no way in comparison to the schlotskys ive been too. The potatoe soup was mashed potatoes the greenonions looked like huge pieces of spinach. I asked for the original to be extra toasted , it was wet literally couldnt pick it up, the guy taking the order acted like he didnt know what he was doing. Umm im so dissapointes right now

This was my first time eating at a Schlotzsky's. Yummy! I had an Italian Calzon it was hugh and delicious! I brought half home! I had to get a Cinnabon for dessert! The staff were amazing.

We have tried to eat at this particular location several times, but we're met with rude employees. We actually left, twice, without buying anything because of it! We haven't been back in over a year. Today, however, was darn near perfect! Everyone was so nice and helpful. The food was delicious! We had one little hiccup...the Cesar salad dressing got mixed up with the honey mustard dressing. Not a big deal though. It could happen to anyone. We were most impressed by the fact that the manager was in the back washing dishes. You don't see a lot of that these days. He was definitely teaching by example. Love that work ethic!

The sandwiches are excellent but can be pricey. I've always had good service and the few times that things have been wrong they corrected the issue to the best of their abilities.

I tried the new extra meat original and it had lettuce and tomato added, no, just no! The original is my favorite and lettuce and tomato did not improve it's perfection. I will know better next time. Lol.

I felt very rushed. I was the only person in there and I was trying to see what I wanted and the counter person kept asking me was I ready. After the 6th time I said I was trying to decide she then started giving me a hard sell on her favorite sandwich. I couldn't even concentrate on the menu. I gave up and got the sandwich she was yapping about. I won't be going back unless I have a order that I called in.

I always forget about Schlotzsky's in J'ville, and I don't know why. Their food is better than Subway. Might be the location and the difficulty exiting the drive through.

This is a nice and clean Deli. Service by staff extremely helpful and friendly. I am happy that they finally opened a store in this area. For a gluten free lunch 🤗 this is the place to go. I always get my deluxe and soup for lunch. Also, weather permitting, outside seating is available.

The food is unique and not bad. I recommend the Shrimply the Best Mac. The Tomato Basil soup is also surprisingly good. However, the prices are high. Expect to pay $11 each at least for an entree and a medium drink. The service is not bad.

I really wanted to give all five stars for this location. From the staff taking my order at the drive thru menu board to receiving our order, it was a good experience! But the actual sandwich (which I order every time I visit Schlotsky's) wasn't the best because I don't like so much roast beef, but that is personal preference. It was fresh and had the signature cut in the middle since I ordered a medium. Also, the entrance has a huge upward dip. So when you are crossing traffic from the opposite side your vehicle will bottom out. Same with exiting although it wasn't as dramatic of a bump. Just be aware of potential damage!

Good tasting fresh sandwich bread was crispy and soft . Only reason a 4 instead of 5 was they were short of my horseradish sauce .. But service was spot on young man was great ... Will come back when in town

I went for a fiesta chicken sandwich from here. It wasn’t a long wait. The service was good. The food tasted good.

Placed order via mobile app, meaning I paid with card. Got there amd half of what we ordered they were out of. Very disappointed.

It was your typical Schlotzsky's. The restaurant was clean, inside and out. The people were friendly. And the sandwich was good.

The manager's children where in the dining area, jumping up and down in the booths, sprawled out on the table, and just having themselves a grand time. I understand that it is Christmas Eve and finding a sitter would be impossible. Having been a single mother for a decade, I understand the struggle. But to allow them to run amuck and to put their dirty shoes where people place their hands was really irresponsible. The food was ok but, like everyone else, the portions have become noticably smaller.

Experience? Not good! Ordered the chicken bacon smokecheesy sandwich, small, off the hip chick trio display ($5.99), was told I couldn't have that; had to be a medium ($7.99). Advertised one way, sold another. Won't be back anytime soon. Subway! Here I come!

If they could get the orders right, it would probably have more stars, but repeating same order multiple times (like 6) and still not getting whole order, correct order, or even correct drink sizes- with nobody else in line to confuse things with- I'm guessing was just a bad day. Will try again another time and see if it's same or better. Whatever that was that replaced our orders was pretty good but I'll stick with what we want. Lol.

I think it was understaffed, but water was all over the floor in front of dribk machine, i think the employees were too busy with drive thru to clean it up...maybe they need extra staff

This place was great when it opened, then that team left and it is pitiful. Three times in a row there has been issues. Missing ingredients, skimping on ingredients. I'm so stupid I gave them another chance. I'll just go to Tyler from now on.

Food wasn't as good as it should of been. Employees seemed to stand around a lot. Took 20 min to get our food and it wasn't even busy. Watched a customer have an issue with her order, then watched an employee go behind the counter and talk bad about her. I wouldn't suggest this location.

Order traditional sandwich. Said wanted mayo and got mustard. Bread was falling a part and crumbling while trying to eat the sandwich. Wasn’t please with the food.

Old, brown lettuce on the sandwich. Potato soup was cold and just had an all around bad flavor. What they charge, the food should be on point. The white chocolate macadamia nut cookie was delicious though.

Every table in the dining room was dirty. The floor had not been swept or mopped in several days. Dirty dishes piled up with food dried and stuck to them in the area where you place them when you are finished eating. Pretty sure this store is like this daily. I can honestly say that it would be shut down if they were ever audited .

I'm a Schlotzsky's fan, have been for a long time. Not this time. They had a special, so I ordered the special (it had bacon - for to try anything with bacon, at least once). The young lady must have been new because she struggled the ordering. Once I thought I had what I ordered, we went to sit down and wait for the food. A shirt time later, here it comes. Completely wrong order. I'm thinking maybe they made it wrong. Nope, she entered it wrong. Exactly what she entered is what I got, but it was NOT want I said or asked for, even being very explicit and detailed. Was it a wrong button? Who knows. My wife said take it back. I ate it - that was my second mistake. Yuck! Sorry Jacksonville, TX Schlotzsky's - you missed the mark on this one. You'll get another try, just one.

Sorriest location to eat in Texas...I’m from Dallas and came out here to visit someone and ate at this sorry establishment that serves cold Cinnabon’s..... No location in Dallas sales cold Cinnabon’s the employees should be fired

Walked in at 823pm no one acknowledged us until 835pm. The girl saw us and just pretended like she didn't. Cinnabon were horrible.

The sandwich was literally thrown together and the bread was not cooked .to make a bad situation worse the manager refused to give me his bosses name and number. I Will Not be going back.

Amatuer hour. Very disapointing. Sometimes, this place can be great. Other times, we've had an employee using the place as a babysitter to watch their kids, who run around the resturant. One kid even tried to take my order behind the cash register. Today I went, and was asked not to order, but to come back later. They weren't taking orders at that time. They were trying to "catch up" on their orders. Asked not to order? Seriously? Drive to Tyler.

Updated review:: After speaking with the manager and assured that I would not be faced with the same rudeness and poorly made food again we decided to give them another try. HUGE mistake. Order was wrong again. Every time we ever go it's always wrong which is a huge problem especially for people with any type of food allergies. Will not be back. ....... P.S. Bot just the Original Small sandwich, and small drink, at the Drive Thru, and when I paid for it was charged $8.52! When I asked about the bill, the girl had the nerve to tell me Don't worry, I gave you chips and a large drink and medium sandwich! I said that's not the point, that's not what I ordered or wanted! When I left with it, I discovered there weren't any chips!!!!

It’s New Years and you close at 8. Doesn’t mean you have to serve me ice cold soup. I was in drive at 730 pm. The soup could of been heated. First and last time I will ever get food at this establishment, I’ll take my money down the road to a different place.

Two visits in two weeks. Both horrible. My wife brought me a LARGE Reuben home most recently and they didn't put dressing or sauerkraut on it. Ordered the Brisket Mac N Cheese the time before that and it was a grainy tasting hot mess. How the Jacksonville location could be this bad when the Tyler stores are always on point is beyond me. Don't waste your time going here IMO.

Food is good, HOWEVER, on 3 different occasions I have driven here (from Rusk and Frankston) and they would not serve me because they said they were "closing". The problem with that was that one of the instances it was 8:30pm, which is an hour and a 1/2 B4 their posted closing time and the other 2 times it was 9pm. Again, an HOUR b4 they are scheduled to be closing. RIDICULOUS!!! Now, had it been 10, even 15 minutes to closing, ok, I MIGHT understand their not wanting to "re-dirty" the kitchen. Although, if you are posted OPEN until 10:00pm, you are serving customers until 10:00pm! PERIODS. AMEN. It is normal for the public to assume you are going to be OPEN when you say you are! My irritation is that not only did I waste my time driving here, bwasted gas and therefore money, but they didntvwvwn offer me anything on any of the 3 visits. Like, O, I dont know... a discount on my next trip OR a FREE meal For my inconvenience!! They were just like... Too bad, So sad, sucks to be you!!! Additionally, I was actually already talking to the manager (who was at the drive thru) So when i asked for owners contact info, I was told "He doesnt deal with the public!" Seriously? Just horrible customer service all around. I will NOT be patronizing this "restaurant" again!

The music is very off putting and the employees are not empowered to change the station or just turn the offensive music off. I definitely won’t be dining in again. I might just go down the street to Jersey Mike’s.

Had the barbecue chicken pizza and it was terrible. Crust too soft large chunk of chicken and lots of blank spots on the pizza. This used to be a good pizza but wasn't tonight.

This was the worst turkey sandwich I have ever had from Schlotzsky’s In my whole life. Your bread has always been consistent. Please tell me they have not changed the recipe. Today it was flat and tasted old with a bad texture . . I asked had they changed recipe. All I got was some people make it different. Wrong answer! I have never had the bun be this horrific. I should have asked for a refund. And she should have at least offered a coupon. This is what makes yall stand out as a good different. So if I were yall I would see what happened or has happened to the bread. I won’t come to this location ever again. And I pray this was a fluke. But as I look at photos here they look different as well. Wow. I hope I’m wrong.

Never eat at this location! The customer service is horrendous, this store always takes forever when making orders ( even when not busy) and they will mess up your complete order. Yesterday I ordered the chicken club flatbread (which does not even come avocado). When I received my order, it was totally wrong, I received a California flatbread which has avocado. I was so furious that I wasn’t even hungry anymore. I am unsure how the cook got California out of chicken …. When I returned my ordered the manager asked if she could remake it for me because “ my DM was not going to be in until Monday and I wouldn’t be able to do the refund until then. I agreed to let them remake my food. Just for the cooks to be making fun of my allergy in the back, once receiving the remade item, there was still a little avocado on the food. I don’t understand how you mess up the order twice. This location needs to be closed or they need better workers and they need to be allowed to give refunds. I will NEVER eat at this location again.

There was brown slime in the soda machine that the overflow catches nd it was extremely dirty. I told the guys there nd one of them handed ME a dry towel to clean it. I made him give me a wet one which was cold. I cleaned it took pics of the slime which I did not touch nd submitted it with a complaint. Neither employee cared one bit nd just walked to the back.

I'm really done being disappointed by this location. Seems like every time we've come in here, it's been one thing or the other. This time, we were overcharged and weren't given a refund, they forgot 2 of the items we paid for, not to mention it was way overpriced. If it's up to me, I won't be back.

Paid over $30 and used a coupon I had in the app to get a free Pick 2 when ordering another entree (did a giant Original and also ordered 2 cinnabons). My Pick 2 were the chicken tortilla soup and mac and cheese. Really the only thing they make that I'll eat since I hate sourdough. My husband goes to pick up the order and they're out of both my soup AND the mac and cheese. They offered to replace it with something else, we declined due to me not liking anything else they have. Instead of offering a raincheck on them where I could stop by at a later date when they do have them in stock to get them, he just voided it off the ticket and said he refunded it. Refunded what? When asked about the app coupon used for it, his answer was he didn't even know if it would go back on the app. Which even if he did, expires in 2 days. It's Good Friday. If they don't have the stuff now, they're not gonna have it tomorrow, definitely not having it by Easter Sunday when it expires. So it wouldn't do me any good anyway. Seriously though, is Schlotzsky's the only restaurant that won't give you an item later on if it was part of your order that's already paid and they aren't able to fulfill it? It's just really irritating when you get your hopes up on something and they try to make it sound like they're doing you a favor when really you're being charged the exact same amount, just getting less than what you ordered.

I pulled up at 7:55pm and I was told they were closed. Well in that case change the time on the door and google to 7:55. It says 8 which means you still have 5 minutes to serve your customers!

We arrived at 7:29pm on Friday, September 13th, and as we parked, the young man working looked at us and locked the door. I understand it was a bit last minute; however, their hours state they close at 8pm. Clearly, the owner may not be aware of their employees' business practices or maybe they are and need to change their operating hours to close at 7:30pm. Do not recommend this particular location.

Did not ring up order correctly. Was told so when receipt was provided. They made it wrong anyway. Remake sill did not have tomato. When remaking sandwich, the guy tired to take one layer at a time off to salvage the meat. Problem is I cannot have mayo. He saw me watching him and finally threw it away and started a new sandwich. Bread did not meet Sholtzsky's standards (see picture). Missing something in the recipe. Hope corporate sends a mystery shopper. Advice; Go to the Subway down the street. I've never been screwed over by them.

I ordered the Cinnabon. The cashier warmed it up, it looked a little burnt. I sat inside to eat my Cinnabon. It was hard & dry. I was so disappointed because I was looking forward to a good warm Cinnabon. I would not recommend this Schlotzsky's for Cinnabon's.

Just got home with food from Schlotzsky's in Jacksonville, TX. This will be my first & last time going there. I thought it would be better than the other fast food restaurants in Jacksonville, but unfortunately it's just as disappointing. Avocado sandwich had a quarter-sized smear of avocado on it. Bowl of soup was 3/4 empty. Would take it back for a refund if it wasn't so far away. Very disappointed...this is the exact reason that I hardly ever get fast food, but really thought that Schlotsky's was different.
