Goen Dining + Bar

Great restaurant with live music. Food was excellent. Typical prices. Didn’t have cocktails so I can’t speak to the quality. Atmosphere was nice; music a tiny bit too loud to have conversation. Views of parking lot but it was okay. Servers very friendly!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I send EVERYONE here. Best service, best food, best place for dates, family, friends, ladies night, etc. The menu does not have single bad item and they have been doing specialty nights where you can try a special menu with drink pairing. Always prompt and friendly service. My favorite place in town and I bring all my visitors here.

We've been to Goen a few times and the food and service has always been great. Recently we hosted our bridal shower there for 25 people and the Goen staff really went above and beyond. They brought out custom menus, and decked out the place with white linens and chairs. They really made it feel like an Event! Thanks so much to the Goen staff for making our day feel special.

Visited Goen to meet a friend and had a great experience. The space is open, big, and really inviting. A nice place to hang out and catch up. We ordered the beef with mashed potatoes, some sushi, and the fish and chips. Everything tasted good and came out nicely prepared. We also had a few drinks, and the overall vibe was relaxed and comfortable. There’s parking available, and we didn’t have to wait for a table, which made it even better. Solid spot for a casual meal, drinks, and good conversation. Would return.

Love the open air, laid back atmosphere & Food was excellent. Filet Mignon with truffle was so soft & flavors went well. They also were able to switch out the mashed potatoes for the polenta which was so creamy. It might have been busy when I went so service was a little slow, but their servers are awesome & friendly. Highly Recommend

This place has a great atmosphere that perfectly complements the food. The dishes were flavorful and satisfying—exactly what you want while enjoying a few drinks with good company. Whether you’re out for a casual night or a relaxed date, this spot hits the mark with its combination of delicious food, inviting ambiance, and a laid-back vibe. Definitely worth a visit!

It is located on the parking lot side. Look for the umbrellas. I was seated quickly and we ordered appetizers to share. The brussel sprouts were pleasant, as well as fried mushrooms. Nurrata was also enjoyable. We didn’t care so much for the salmon spread.

Food was excellent. Our server was meh. She wasn't mean or mad or anything, but she was very short in her tone and simply not friendly. Just felt like she didn't want to be there or she thought we were going to stiff her or something. Others came to do table touch and were very friendly. Giving a 4 star because of food, and not rating service because I know servers are hit and miss at restaurants. HK style ribs, brussel sprouts, fry basket, shrimp tempura roll, shishitos, and ravioli were delicious!

Came here 3x on our trip. The first time was exceptional; great food and service. The other two times, despite having the same server, we were very disappointed. Our last visit was Christmas Eve and we were given attitude when asked for keiki menus for our oldest two (11 & 12yo). The server said “are they under 10?” … no mam. The keiki menu clearly states 12 and under and they are under that. Did she not know the ages on the menu? We ordered the fixed price 3 course meal. Very bleh. Aranaci balls (appetizer) were cold and inedible. Worst I have ever eaten. The dessert was a sugary disaster, even our kids didn’t eat it. Our mains were just ok. Not worth the price and the lackluster service. I should also mentioned it took us 15 mins for our server to approach us and take our drink orders. I suspect maybe they were understaffed. All in all, I guess your experience may differ based on the date you visit.

Customer service and hospitality needs improvement definitely. We asked the hostess if we could be seated in the shade as it was not busy and plenty of different seating options were empty and she replied " that section was just cleaned for dinner and is unavailable " I was hungry so I didn't say anything. Never been told I couldn't have more favorable seating in a place that was almost empty. This place has decent food but the staff needs a pick me upper and some enthusiasm. We were rushed to order and reminded that lunch was soon ending. Over priced food for understated dishes. Hire people with personality.
