First time dinner here. By the time we got there it was late and we were able to order right away. We had the ST Louis Ribs and the smoked chicken. Both had a nice smokey taste and were tender. The meats were cooked slow enough so most the fat was rendered out. Due to personal preference, I like my BBQ wet, so the sauce was a little skimpy for me. The Cole slaw and mac-n-cheese were decent. I liked to selection of condiments. A few rings of raw red onion, pickle slices, and a couple pickled jalapenos went well with the meat. We sat next to where they were making the bread. The odor of fresh bread with the smokers for the meats was awesome. I come from west Texas and the only thing missing here is Beef Ribs. I would take a couple beef ribs over pork any day.

We ordered Baby back ribs, pulled pork and ham the second time after a family member introduced us to this restaurant. What I love the most is the baby back ribs, potato salad and the “Rolls” freshly baked from the mini oven in one side of the restaurant. The rolls are to die for. Definitely we’ll be back for more.

My only real complaint was the lack of recognition and communication from the staff. There was no helpful direction or even speaking to me while I stood there. Then, when I got to the register area, there were no cups for drinks, and no one was working the register. The manager, I assume that was who he was, was busy talking to the staff and on the phone. I even asked for a glass, he mumbled, yeah, but proceeded to not produce one. The service once I was seated was good, offering fresh rolls. Sad that a place could have easily received five stars had they been more engaging with their customers.

I visited this location just before dinner time so my review will reflect that. The wait staff at the food counter were very friendly and nice. The wait staff at the dinner area not so much. The brisket and chicken I got was very dry like it wasn't fresh and I know fresh because I make my own bbq. Beans not great and the bread was very generic and not flavorful. Maybe it you arrive for lunch you get the fresh bbq experience but mine wasn't

BBQ was just ok, nothing to write home to Mom about. They ran out of pickles at 6:20 PM! Poor management, no staff to refill drinks. Bread rolls came when we were finishing our meal. Go to Red River BBQ on Mason Road instead. 1000% better.

Chicken was good...beef was fatty. Sausage was ok. The potato salad was gross. Green beans were not that great either. It was cold in the building. The table felt sticky and so did the floor.

Uhm... yeah no, this chain is definitely the fast food version of Texas BBQ. I just want to leave my rating here and be done with it honestly. The "slow smoke" tasted more like chemicals than actual slow smokers, but overall it's just pretty disappointing in a non-descript way. Edible and will do in a pinch, but still. The fried okra is also dry as heck. Peach cobbler is like, okay. Serviceable. Still somehow the best dish here just by virtue of it being actually sweet. Honestly could've had a better rating if they weren't in Houston of all places.

Came in around 7 not to late for closing ive always wanted to try it. Very dissapointed. Food was lukewarm border line cold the brisket was super super dry and I even got the fatty brisket. Coleslaw was ok. The beans were cold. The bread was just bread. The little extra fixings looked sad. On the bright side the bbq sauce is really good. The people and service very good. But I cant help but feel i was robbed by paying 60 bucks for 2 people.

I was very very disappointed... the meat was dry!!!! The potato was not done all the way!! I had to send it back then I asked for extra butter that didn't happen PAPAS BBQ is still the BEST!!!!!! A bunch of kids running the place.... the cold items on a potatoe goes on the heated part .. instead they put it on the top!!!!! Won't eat here again!!!!!!!!! Their brisket does not compare to PAPPAS BBQ at all.. this is the one on Katy freeway ..

We haven't been in Texas long, and today we decided to give BBQ a try, given its good reputation here. We ordered food through Uber Eats and it was truly disappointing. The brisket was very dry and almost flavorless, the ribs were tough, and the sausage was the best of the three meats we ordered. The sides were average. We also added corn on the cob, which tasted absolutely nothing; when you bit into it, it was watery and tasteless. Our experience was totally disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Disappointed in Spring Creek BBQ (Katy), I went today to pick up a slice beef sandwich which I have done so many other times. I asked the general manager who was bagging my order if I could have a roll with my food since I’ve always been given a roll in the past. He said we don’t give rolls on sandwiches; I explained to him I have always had a roll in my bag when I pick up my order. On my way back to the office, I called the general manager, mentioned if “I walk thru the line they give me a roll and if I’m sitting in the restaurant, they give me a roll”, so what’s the difference? He said we don’t give rolls on a sandwich because you have bread with your sandwich. Seriously? Plus, their french fries were over seasoned with salt and pepper, I couldn’t eat the fries and mentioned it to the general manager, he had nothing to say other than we normally don’t put seasoning. Seriously? Spring Creek needs to do better with their customers I’m done… going to Rudy’s BBQ for better service and bbq

I went to Spring Creek today with close family members for a post-funeral meal. We were a group of about 30–40 people and spent over $800. We had booked the room in advance for 1 pm. My husband and I arrived early to check in and make sure things were ready. The cashier who greeted us was very kind and helpful, but unfortunately, the room was not set up for our group. I politely asked if someone could assist with moving tables so that the rest of the family wouldn’t have to worry after coming straight from the service. The cashier asked a tall man in a green shirt (who seemed to be the manager), but he refused to help, repeating several times that “they don’t set up tables.” This was surprising since I’ve attended family gatherings here before where tables were prepared. I explained the circumstances, hoping for some empathy, but he continued to dismiss me. My husband eventually came inside to help after seeing me struggle with the tables. He asked the same manager for advice on the best way to arrange them, but the manager was rude, gave the same response, and eventually walked away, leaving us to handle everything on our own. It was extremely disappointing—not only because of the lack of support and empathy during a difficult time, but also because the food did not meet expectations. After this experience, I will not be returning.
