Always a great experience here. Fabulous fresh bagels and amazing cream cheese options. They also have an entire menu of sandwiches and many other options. This place rocks!

Look, it's a place that sells bagels. They're some of the best I've ever had and the owner seems like a nice chap. We've been here a few times & we'll be coming back for more.

Best bagels in the world. The staff are all very nice, except for one lady who is in a perpetual bad mood. When I see her at the register, I just leave rather than listen to whatever is bothering her that day about her life, her coworkers, etc. I suggest putting her on the makeline instead of up front.

It was a lively place. Go early, we did and a huge line grew after us. They have a huge selection of bagels and cream cheeses and some sandwiches. I had the best iced Americano there too! I had a pumpernickel bagel with plain cream cheese, the perfect amount too. I wish I could've eaten more. It's a little small and noisy inside but not overwhelming. They people at the counter work fast and love cash.

Love the variety of bagels that they have. I had the westerner with the Asiago bagel. I really want to try that jalapeño cheddar but it’s always sold out!😭The staff is very nice and helpful! I will have to say tho, they need to crank the AC in there cause it does get pretty hot. But overall bagels are very fresh. Definitely recommend.🙏

I highly recommend the Bagel Cafe! I’m from New Jersey and the only bagels we will eat are from here since we moved to Houston. They are made fresh everyday, they have a wide selection of items on the menu, the pricing is great, and the atmosphere feels like family. Joe is absolutely the most amazing guy! You can tell how much he cares and loves what he does. He never fails to make me laugh when I go in to get whatever I’m wanting that day. I highly recommend making this your new breakfast or lunch spot. My favorites are the freshly made cream cheese, bagel sandwiches and the chicken breast focaccia on ciabatta instead. If you like coffee they also have really good iced coffee and coffee beans you can buy. Definitely worth trying out!

Vibes are great and bagel was also great. I got the bagel melt and added an egg and also got a cappuccino with oat milk (no extra charge). Can’t recommend the hash brown but bagel was excellent

My first time visiting this place. Very good fresh bagels. I will definitely be back to try some of the other food they provide.

Friend: "The guy's from Brooklyn, you should try them." Try #1 - half dozen (dang, they're good!) Try #2 - dozen (Husband: "I only want one." Plot spoiler, it wasn't true.) Try #3 - half dozen for me half for him (gone too fast!) Try #4 - dozen for me - learned that Cash is King so... Try #5 won't be long!

The bagels were so fresh, soft, and a good crunch. Service was amazing, staff was friendly and attentive. They have fresh OJ. Def coming back

Delicious bagels,great selection of flavors of bagels and cream cheese! My go to is egg bagel with chive cream cheese or French toast with cinnamon almond cream cheese.

Their sandwiches are SO GOOD! We had the French dip and the raspberry turkey. They came with some schmear and their in house bagel chips on the side which were delicious. We also had a cinnamon crunch bagel with the maple-walnut-raisin spread for dessert. Bagels and schmear were so good, we bought some more to take home for later.

1st time ordering from here this past Friday for a weekend girls trip! Got a random selection of bagels, 4 muffins and cream cheese (plain and jalapeño). Soooooo good! The ladies were impressed and loved the jalapeño cream cheese the most. My favorite was the cinnamon crumb muffin because it had a jam of some kind in the bottom center of the muffin. Yum! Definitely coming back to try out their lunch soon!

Let me preface this by saying that I am by no means a bagel girl. OK, now that we got that out-of-the-way let’s get started. I was running errands and looking for a coffee shop when my GPS led me to this hidden little bagel shop. I looked at the menu and I was like “you know what? I could go for a bagel right now. I haven’t had one in years.” Boy oh boy did I get my mind blown! There were so many options of in-house baked bagels and so many options of cream cheese that I didn’t even know where to start. I ended up getting the spinach and feta bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, baked, and oooweeee!! Literally the best bagel I’ve ever had in my life! I seriously do think their secret ingredient is love. The woman that helped me through this transaction was so patient and encouraging, and she even made some suggestions for next time, because I will be back! Now it’s time to order my coffee. A young gentleman helped me and he suggested that I used half-and-half in my coffee to make it creamier and he was right! I had an iced brown sugar latte and every sip feels like a dream come true. I’ll definitely be back tomorrow to try the cranberry orange bagel or maybe I’ll get an egg sandwich? Who knows the possibilities or endless! All I can say is that everyone at this establishment was extremely helpful and sweet and I cannot recommend this place enough.

From tossing your bagel to always remembering your name and blowing the famous whistle when you pay with cash, this place has great food and even better atmosphere especially nice and early in the morning.

An extremely underrated spot that you need to go to as soon as possible! I honestly thought I had already tried all the best bagels out there, but The Bagel Cafe seriously impressed me. I'll start by saying that hopping in here on an early Sunday morning is quite the experience. The inside is modest and cozy, and really embodied the kind of New York-deli vibe that you don't get in many places. The staff was jovial, and they were laughing and joking and having fun at 7AM on a Sunday. That was AWESOME. So needless to say, the service was amazing. But of course, the bagels speak for themselves. Texture and taste-wise, these bagels may be the best I've ever had. Not to mention they're extremely photogenic. Flavors of the bagels themselves and the cream cheese were unmatched, I got a salt/plain cream cheese bagel and a jalapeño cheddar/chive cream cheese bagel. I will say, if you're a fan of the chewier type of bagel—this is your place! This place was absolutely amazing, and I'm already counting the days until I can come here again on a Sunday morning.

We get to pick from a lot of bagels (I prefer onion, while The Mister likes jalapeño) and then they add eggs and cheese and whatever other goodies. They toast it and bring it to you, and you fall in love. They also sell a bunch of takeaway snacks. I love picking up one of the flavored cream cheeses (I'm a huge fan of the classic Chive cream cheese) and bagel chips for snacking at home. The cinnamon rolls are also wonderful, and they have cookies and muffins too. The best thing, though, is how friendly and fast the service is. Even though on our last visit the line wrapped around the side of the restaurant, we were up to the front in no time, and never felt rushed at all.

Every imaginable bagel in cream cheese, butter, cheese, peanut butter, bacon, and egg sandwich. The owner is a delight coming to greet costumers with a "little" gimmick. Staff were lovely and pleasant throughout. Smiles all around when we were there. Thank you for the wonderful breakfast experience.

I’ve been craving a bagel and found this place by searching on Google maps. So happy I did. I got the Signature Lox Sandwich and it was very good. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. They also didn’t spare on the cream cheese which is always my favorite part. Would definitely return!

The prices are fair. The ingredients are fresh. I eat a sandwich here (not a bagel sandwich... normal bread) on a regular basis. The menu is very limited, but the sandwiches are great. Their coffee options are also great (I'm a black coffee drinker, so my expectations are just a good bean). They do get quite a 'coffee shop' crowd during the week... but I highly recommend you check this place out if you're in the area.

I must say this is one of the BEST bagel sandwiches I have had. I’m giving them 4 instead of 5 stars due to the attitude and atmosphere the morning I ordered my sandwich. The vibe was down for some reason. Maybe something had happened some morning (I get it). It’s a busy morning before they would be closed on a holiday (Easter). However, the spirit needed a major face lift. As I interacted with 3 employees, only one actually had a smile on her face. Thank you for that. You don’t want to come across as grumpy Christians. With that said, my bagel sandwich was REALLY delicious and fresh. Just add a side of HAPPY with that toasted goodness.

Decent for Houston. A bit lighter (less dense/chewy) than you get in NY/NJ, but they do have pork roll!

When people say that service is half of the experience it is absolutely true. I went today to get 4 bagels and a smoothie and the cashier was so rude that I wouldn’t go back, she refused to accept a 50$ bill for a 64.73$ check, there was another lady next to her that told her to accept it. The food was good and it is really busy on Sundays. Note: they charge a take out fee.

Friendly staff. I had a breakfast everything bagel with egg, cheese, and bacon as well as a sugar-free vanilla and caramel oatmilk latte. Food was good and latte was delicious. Enjoyed the latte so much I forgot to take a pic of it.

The bagels here are just fine. Everyone in my family enjoys the flavors they pick, and the food itself is perfectly acceptable. Unfortunately, that is where my enjoyment ends. The staff consistently comes across as unfriendly, unhelpful, and at times snappy. I can see how regulars might understand the unwritten rules of how this place operates, but for occasional customers, any small misstep is met with impatience rather than guidance. The overall vibe feels cold and unwelcoming, which makes the experience uncomfortable. The saving grace for Katy is that we now have more bagel options nearby, so customers are no longer stuck tolerating poor service just to get a decent bagel. Food matters, but so does how you treat people.

Ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese…bagel taste more like a bolillo roll with everything seasoning on it! Cream cheese was barely there! Might as well have given it to me plain! Maybe I’m biased because I’m a New Yorker and use to the real thing…

Typically good but on 3/8/26 found 4 hairs in my food ...Gagged..definitely not my hair ..found hair in both our orders..I put the hair on the top of container so you could see...so gross. please wear hair net or put hair up..so unsanitary!

It used to be a good place however the service has gone down the drain. This is second time when I have found less number of bagels in the bag. Do I really have to count now in the bag how many they put in ? May not be intentional but the carelessness tells the story. Prices have been increased quite a bit … are the bagels imported from some country with tariff or is it just dip the toes because the country is going through this situation?

I usually don't give one star to any business that I visit. But this one is exceptional. Around 11 am me and my friend can't you have brunch we've been craving for bagels. So we came here we ordered our bagels. My friend order coffee. When she took the coffee, it was not hard enough and other coffee pot was empty. I asked the lady to give us a hot coffee. And this girl named Katie she was loud enough where we can hear her that she was telling her co-worker that she's not going to be making any more coffee for us. But it's a bagel and coffee place. And we paid for the coffee that we couldn't enjoy. It was very rude for her to make a comment out loud to a paid customer. I would not come back here again.
