Service off the charts; family environment. It's not drive-thru thru folks, so be prepared for a wait if you want the food cooked right. We tried Straganoff and the Rotisserie Chicken and both were perfect! Fresh steaks and meat case at counter on entrance side. Excellent experience -> family friendly dining, set in a clean, refreshing wholesome environment 👌
When I heard there was a new butcher/meat market close to home I was very excited to check it out. I stopped in today to grab some steaks to grill on my weber kettle. As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted by the hostess. Brandon was at the meat counter and was very friendly and helpful making sure I got exactly what I wanted. It’s was refreshing to hear that all their meat comes directly from their own ranch and isn’t sourced from somewhere else. The prices are extremely reasonable considering you’re getting it straight from the source. I am looking forward to dining in sometime soon at their restaurant and I’ll definitely won’t be buying my meat anywhere else!
Food was fantastic! Service was fast & staff was very friendly. I tried one of the burgers previously & it was so good!! 10/10 recommend.
Drove out this past weekend for a late lunch and cannot recommend B&B enough! I heard about the restaurant from a Gluten Free Dallas page on Facebook and had been waiting to try it out since it’s about 1.5 hours drive from us but we WILL be back! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable on their products as well as their cross contamination procedures. Our waitress told us that out of the entire menu, only three items contained gluten and were prepped in a separate area, but that all three options had gluten free substitutes. We got the calamari(not pictured) and fried pickles to start, both of which were gluten free since their fryer is dedicated 100% gluten free. My husband isn’t gluten free and said both appetizers were so good, and the pickles were some of the best fried pickles he’d ever had. For our mains, I ordered the chicken fried steak and he had the steak frites. My husband said his steak was “the closest he’s ever had to cutting it off the cow and throwing it onto the grill”, and EVERYTHING tasted incredibly fresh. Absolutely love that everything is locally sourced, and that the frier uses beef tallow rather than seed oils. As a celiac, this is the most comfortable I’ve been eating at a restaurant since being diagnosed and it’s such a treat to be able to eat items that I’d normally only feel comfortable eating at home. Price is comparable to most restaurants and chain steak houses in my opinion, but the quality is a thousand times better. Pickles were so good I even took another order to go and they reheat beautifully in the oven! We 100% plan on coming back regularly and will be bringing some of our other gluten free friends with us to spread the word!
We were greeted immediately upon arrival, which set the tone for a great experience. This family owned restaurant had exactly the warm, welcoming atmosphere we were hoping for. The food was fantastic. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with a house salad and sweet potato, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was incredibly juicy and seasoned perfectly. Overall, I give B & B Steakhouse a 10/10 and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a comfortable, hometown atmosphere.
We had an amazing lunch amazing gluten free food! My husband, who is not gluten free, thought it was incredible as well. Don't miss it and we'll be back for sure!
First time visiting B&B Steakhouse and everything was FANTASTIC! From the ranch to the fried pickles, mashed potatoes, gravy, every single bite had so much flavor. We also tried a mocktail and it was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, and both the restaurant and restrooms were spotless. We will definitely be back!
B&B Steakhouse and Market was very welcoming, spacious, and had an upscale feel. The food was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of fat, and the flavor really stood out. The mashed potatoes were rich and delicious, and the meal came with a fresh side salad. Overall, everything was flavorful and satisfying. I will definitely be coming back!
The service was great and the food was pretty good but I couldn't give it a 5 star because I ordered a medium rare ribeye and unfortunately, it came out pretty close to medium well. The restaurant was not busy and the server offered to take the steak back to recook it but I didn't want to waste the steak. It wasn't bad, it was well seasoned but for a show afternoon, there's really no excuse for an over cooked $46 steak. I'd love to give them another chance the next time that we are in town. Is recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area!
We were wow'd from the get-go! Met the hostess first -> she PROMPTLY greeted us on arrival, stopped what she was doing, inquired about number of guests, and escorted us to our seats, making sure she sat us in a nice location. Ample seating.... ample waiting area, and the seating and tables are not shoved on top of each other. Met Denise [our server] and the Baumgartner family tonight. Denise was the best server ever. We are so thankful we took the opportunity to drive to Kaufman and look around. Tucked away on a little side street, we found the PERFECT LOCAL DINER! Listed as B&B Steakhouse, consider it your new favorite local diner because it has all the warm and fuzzy feels of a diner! Except think swanky cloth napkins and a lovely view of the square and remodeling of the Kaufman County Courthouse on the square! I selected the Beef Straganoff, homemade 😋 and the chunk of meat was a good portion of short rib, seemed about 4 to 6 oz. My significant other selected the Rotisserie Chicken, and said it was both tender and moist, the green beans were flavorful and delicious, and the potatoes were good, not bland. We did not have room for dessert, but do check out that menu as we noted there was a large dessert selection. If paying by CARD, pay at your table. Cash check with your server WHERE to pay. On exit, we signed up for a raffle, and Mr. Dwayne invited us to view the meat case and meat market products. Do make it a point to go see the MEAT DISPLAY CASE ON THE ENTRANCE SIDE OF THE RESTAURANT BECAUSE the case displays the food you may select to eat. Chris Baumgartner told us he bred and raised the cattle, which was FORK TENDER. Do yourself a favor, GO! We will go back. 🚶♂️ 🚶♀️ Loved it. Thanks ya'll 😊!

Amazing! Gluten free selections are phenomenal. The staff was amazing, both for service provided and for meaningful engagement at the table. Couldn't try it all, so I'm forced to go back; and I can't wait. 😉
My favorite steakhouse. The steaks are cooked perfectly. This place has the unusual distinction of being VERY friendly towards people who are Gluten intolerant/Celiac which is VERY rare for a small town establishment but appreciated. I HIGHLY recommed the steaks, Brussels Sprouts, really everything.
Everything was amazing! Drove over an hour to try the chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken since they use gluten free ingredients. Well worth the trip! Also enjoyed a gluten free brownie sundae that was perfect. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Staff was friendly and responsive. We came in with a large group and they handled us with top notch service. The food was excellent and very large portions. First time here but definitely not the last. Great Job!
I'm celiac. And had been craving a chicken fried steak. Man ol man, they did not disappoint. That chicken fried steak was the best I've had in my 50 years of life.
Let me just tell.you the steaks are butter! Pricey yes but worth the trip. We have eaten there several times and I always buy steaks, ha.burger meat and brisket to take home. Im serious when I say there meat market is the bomb. Tonight I cooked 3 ribeyes and they tasted like butter. Steaks are aged and the best I've ever eaten. 27 bucks a lb for ribeye is worth it!
The food was fantastic. It is so nice to find a place that I can have almost everything on the menu, being a celiac diagnosed person.

We had an amazing experience at B&B Steakhouse! We started with the Cowboy Caviar—it was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick things off. The Flat Iron Steak with chimichurri had incredible flavor and was so tender, it felt like we were eating a filet. The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We also bought a brisket from the meat counter, took it home and cooked it—the smoke ring on it was amazing, and it was hands down the best brisket we’ve ever had. With so many great options on the menu, we’ll definitely be back soon!
Amazing experience! Began with a beautiful smile from Ricki and she delivered great service during our dining experience. Steak cooked to perfection as ordered! Brussels sprouts are absolutely delicious!! Clean relaxing, atmosphere with background music at the right level to have conversation at the table. Will be back
My wife and I both really enjoyed the food here. We both had the ribeye steak and they were cooked exactly how we asked. We also tried two different appetizers the shrimp cocktail and the bacon wrapped peppers both were very good. The atmosphere was great and the service was above and beyond. Kaufman really needed something like this and we look forward to eating here on a regular basis. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Food was great and the small issue that we had was fixed in a few minutes while they offered their sincerest apologies. Me and my girl went for the Valentine's Day dinner and they were a tad behind but got us seated as soon as possible. I would highly recommend and even spoke to the owner and he was very nice and made us feel very welcomed!
Steak was average. Seemed dry and stale. No roll. You pay extra. Never heard of that. Potatoes were good. Good tea. Good service. Way overpriced.
First of all, we had reservations got there in the table wasn’t ready. The lady sitting us kinda laughed it off and said oh I’ve been busy trying to clean. I’ll get it set up now. Well, we had reservations for a surprise birthday that got busted! The food was far below mediocre for the price. The steaks were grey not seared at all. I got the shrimp and sausage grits. I believe is what it was. The shrimp was cold and the grits you had to literally cut with a fork. They were so stiff. Ordered meatball appetizer would have been good, but it was so salty. You couldn’t eat it. Also a salmon dish was ordered and it was very good, but also very very salty. That was just the people sitting around me I believe the best thing about the meal was first of all the young lady that waited on us was very, very nice and was a great waitress! Secondly, the bread that we purchased that doesn’t come with a meal lol was very, very good and hot! I’d like to say we would go back, but I’m not sure if that will happen for an upscale steakhouse. They need an upscale front of the house and back of the house. I wish them all the luck and hope they do well.🥵
Always excited for a new restaurant in the area, especially something different like a steakhouse.... Cowboy dip was very tasty, sweet tea, mashed potatoes and the CFS was very, very good. Freshness is key. My wife and I thought the green beans were canned but according to owner responses, they are homemade. She had the salmon which was small, dry, and uninspiring along with the green beans and a grilled lemon as garnish (underwhelming for the price, maybe add rice or another fresh side for value?). Not a pass, but i get it, it is a steakhouse not seafood. Maybe if additional sides were mentioned tableside we would have been swayed to try different options. Overall, nice new clean dining areas and staff was pleasant. Hopefully suggestions don't go unnoticed and they stick around for a while. Ill be back for an actual steak.
We are all about supporting local, small family and businesses. Let me start by sharing that our service was excellent. Places, sparkling, new and well-maintained and definitely has a great family atmosphere. Steak was average and comparable to Outback but not even salt grass. Mac n cheese was 2stars I asked if the desserts were made in house?! Our server said they were. Brownie ice cream, dessert was awful. The vanilla ice cream had zero flavor and the brownie was definitely not homemade. We will try it again sometime and just choose some more simple options to help support a local business, but they’re definitely needs to be some tweaks. We paid Four Winds prices tonight and we did not get Four Winds quality of food.
Value is simply not there. Portions were just very small for the amount of money spent. The bread was the best part of the experience, sadly.. and even that felt costly as an appetizer. Place is mad expensive.
We had reservations for Valentine's evening. We showed up early, and waited for our turn. We were seated, with no menu. We waited over 20 minutes, no waiter approached our table. We watch other people seated after us and we're served drinks, orders taken for food. I feel they over booked their evening. If you don't have the staff to take care of all your customer you're losing money and will continue to in the future because we will not be back. It's too bad, my wife wanted to try your restaurant, in the end she was the one that said we need to leave.
We went on our anniversary. I ordered tenderloin and it smelt and tasted spoilt rotten. The waitress took it back lady came to table and said it did smell funny in one breath then said did i want anither one that was cut fresh that day. So how old was the steak they gave me first. Then she ask would i like a chicken fried stead or something. I said no so she took it off tge bill. Will we go back? I'm gonna say nope.
