Stopped by for lunch a week ago with a party of 10 and everything was great!! Our waiters were super quick to serve and very attentive even though it was busy and there were a lot of us. I ordered eggs Benedict and they were top notch. Menu has a great variety of classic diner fare. I'll be back if I'm ever in the area again :)

Everyone was so accommodating and kind. Our server Denise was so genuinely joyful and went above and beyond especially knowing it was my sisters birthday. She had a smile on her face the whole time and the owner Elenie was so sweet she made sure we were comfortable and treated us with such hospitality! We will definitely be back!

Stopped here for dinner on the way back from a long trip. The food is like every diner you've ever been to and the waitresses/staff were really nice to my kids and that's worth a lot more than anything else in my book.

We called in our dinner order close to closing time, and the staff couldn’t have been more gracious. The server on the phone kindly declined to take my credit card information, simply trusting that we’d make it there—and they’d still be there—by pickup. That kind of warmth and trust is rare these days. After a long day and drive, the food was ready to pick up and exactly what we needed, and the kindness made the food even tastier. We’ll definitely be back!

I love diners and Dietz Stadium is one of the best. Been here at least 10 times and it always delivers. Food is a click or two above regular diner fare, made from quality ingredients and very tasty. Good service. Nice vibe. Great place

Excellent service, excellent menu options, delicious food :) I got a garden salad, cream of asparagus soup and potato wedges. Generous proportions - the potato wedges was a full potato quartered and generously garnished 💫 Hats off to the cooks and servers. Will be back again!

Briana rocks, she is a gem! I always wanted to eat here but was always in a hurry to catch a bus so, would only get coffee to go. Today, I had a some time before my bus and thought I had enough time to eat. I sat at the counter and told Briana I was in a hurry needed to catch a bus. Briana was professional, friendly and without rushing got me my food quickly. Most of all I found Briana to be a good listener. When I told her what I wanted she said let me get you the iced coffee right away. When she delivered my food she said I can take your payment now to get you out quick. It is nice to be listened to especially when in a hurry. I had tuna salad on toasted rye. Many places do not fully toast the bread. I thought that would be the case given my short amount of time. The toast was done to perfection and the tuna salad was delicious. Might be the best tuna salad I have had. Just the right amount of mayo, perfectly toasted, simply amazing! Lastly, when I asked Briana what her name was she said what is yours. Many people do not ask back when you ask their name. Place is clean and I am a clean freak, staff always friendly and courteous. Can’t wait to have dinner here!

We stopped in Kingston looking for another diner that we dined at in the past and as we got lost, we stumbled upon this diner. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the price was on point. I highly recommend Dietz Stadium Diner for your next diner food eats!

Sometimes servers don't seem the friendliest. However the bus people are always fantastic and seem to be enjoying their day at work. The food is always fantastic. Been going here for as long as I can remember, 30+ years and never once had anything less than delicious meals.

Stumbled gratefully into this joint during a layover at the Trailways bus station next door. Such a wonderful place. Its been in the same family for three generations, Cypriot Greeks if I recall right. I'd post pix but google is broken, maybe later. Suffice it to say the breakfast was huge and delicious I could not finish it. And the owner, a lovely woman and everyone there was standout. Kingston's all purpose treasure. People w/ kids (nice ones and brats) locals, guys shooting thr breeze, little old ladies, familes and me. Top shelf.

We sat outside on a beautiful morning ans enjoyed their garden omelette and Eggs Benedict. The potatoes were seasoned well and so delicious. The omelet had a lot of veggies packed in. Sunday afternoon lunch crowd. Busy but plenty of seating. Building is old but everything spotless. Hostess and server could not have been nicer. We ordered a Cob Salad which was gigantic, fresh and delicious as was the Deitz's Chicken Sandwich. Prices were excellent. We drove 45 miles to try it and it was worth the effort.

Most amazing waitresses outside Sunday morning, really good coffee. The stuffed French toast with the strawberry cream cheese looks super sweet but it isn't it was just perfect and delicious. Very generous with the sausage on the egg sandwich as well.

I've eaten here many, many times over the years. The service is efficient and "nice". The food is always well prepared and tasty. They make a fabulous chicken salad sandwich, as well as a really good BLT, tasty soups, and excellent omelets.

Considering we were on a tight schedule, the Dietz Stadium Diner fit the bill. The service was super swift and our breakfast was prepared the way we ordered it.

Came by because we needed a late lunch and was looking for a place with outdoor seating and that was dog-friendly. The hostess and waitress were super nice! Solid menu and bites. Got the French toast, turkey sausage and burger. Easy parking.

We dine at Dietz’s almost every time we visit my in-laws. Super friendly staff and clean. They have an extensive menu with glorious diner staples, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Tonight I had chicken marsala with a romaine lettuce salad, chicken noodle soup and chocolate cake for dessert. My wife had a salad, cheese ravioli parmigiana and delicious cheese cake for dessert. We highly suggest Dietz’s Stadium Diner if you are in the area.

This place is exactly what one pictures when you say classic diner! I had a Cobb salad that was fresh and well put together that included, among other things, nicely cooked grilled chicken, bacon and olives. Our server was outstanding; very friendly and attentive. I stopped into this diner for a quick bite, and the highlight was definitely the staff. Everyone was so sweet, friendly, and talkative in the best way they made me feel really welcomed the moment I walked in. The service alone gives this place such a warm vibe. The food itself was a bit on the bland side but it wasn’t terrible, especially for a quick stop. If you’re looking for somewhere with genuinely kind people and an easy, casual meal, it’s still worth checking out.

We like to stop here on our way downstate. Even early in the morning I am able to get a fresh chopped Greek salad with grilled chicken. The service is excellent and the facility is always clean. Also, there is ample parking for our truck and trailer. Cute outdoor patio seating available too. Highly recommend this place.

Just got back from Canada with the wife … so on a long road trip … was looking for anything yummy and found this gem! Walked in at 8:30 (they close at 9) they didn’t even bat an eyelash. Super nice and welcoming along with Delicious food (salmon, meatloaf, crab cakes)!

Was a bit weary coming to this place due to mixed reviews on here. But this place had a bit higher rating than the other diners in Kingston. Our waitress was very friendly, food came out in under 10 minutes. Seems like many locals come here, staff greeting them with friendliness. Atmosphere is nice diner feel. I ordered a veggie breakfast wrap. It was very delicious with egg, spinach, onion, & broccoli and came with potato hash. Also ordered strawberry waffles, strawberries were obviously not fresh, from frozen and way too much whipped cream. It’s what to expect w diner food, stick to the basics eggs, pancakes, omelets. Really good price, group of three we all ate under $11 each.

So I am revising my review on this establishment. I have been coming to the stadium diner for over 40 years. My phone is memories we're coming here with my parents and my father was there pretty much regularly. The stadium dinner has always been like family to me. On Saturday October 15th my husband and I got to enjoy a lovely dinner for 2 by ourselves with no children and we chose to go to the diner because I just going to make up my mind on what I wanted for dinner. I believe I had the brazed short ribs and my husband he enjoyed his philly cheese steak wrap. Both entries were absolutely delicious we had fantastic service As always from Izzy. The soup that I chose was Lentil it was delicious. I had an absolutely delicious salad. And the potato chips that my husband ordered with his rap rap were housemaid chips and they were delicious as well. Then again on October 22nd I went to the diner for breakfast with the entire family we were getting ready to go pumpkin picking and get things squared away for Halloween so we chose the diner for breakfast that morning. The girls both enjoyed a delicious pancake and aside a bacon I had a spinach and feta omelet which was delicious and my husband's breakfast was also fantastic he said the home fries were well cooked there were no onions in my home fries which is one of the things I cannot stand is hanging in my home fries and my waitress made sure that there were no onions in my home fries. Although When I came in I did let my posts know that sometimes I can be a little bit picky and I needed to have a waitress that was a little bit patient and I did notice that the waitress on that day and I don't know what her name was roll her eyes when the hostess let her know that I'm a little bit picky but but otherwise it was a very nice experience the server was very polite and I appreciate her taking the patience and time to make sure that the order was correct. My server I guess I don't know what her name was. All in all I have to say thank you very much for 2 fantastic experiences. And 2 completely delicious meals dinner and then breakfast not only that but their soups are housemaid and house made and they are totally scrumptious. We will definitely be coming back again. All in all I give both experiences a 5 star rating and since I can't do 2 separate reviews I decided to include both experiences in the same review. I was visiting Kingston and I ate here 3 days out of a week. Their food is fresh, tasteful and a great value for the money. With each entree you also get a bowl of soup and a salad. The portion sizes were generous. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient. I went on a Friday night and their clam chowder soup was amazing. I will make sure to go back when I visit Kingston next time. Would recommend.

Generous portions is an understatement. The meatloaf dinner came with three slabs. There was a large amount of mashed potatoes. However, the meatloaf’s flavor was a bit plain.

We love this wonderful diner! However we were disappointed that because we are older folks and we don’t eat a lot that we were charged $4.00 for a shared plate. We ate on a fixed income and don’t like to over order as we don’t eat as much as we used to. I had soup and my husband had a sandwich and they insisted on charging $4.00 because I might have had some of his sandwich and he might have had some of my soup. I think this kind of nickel and diming might just keep us away from the diner entirely 🙁

Had a perfectly fine meal in this long-standing institution in Kingston. Met a friend here. One of us was in a breakfast mood the other for lunch. Both were easily accommodated as could dinner be accommodated if you were in that mood. Fairly standard Diner menu with a large selection of egg dishes for breakfast sandwiches wraps, Panini, etc. for lunch And salads had a huge selection as well as Italian dishes, broiled fish, meat, selections, etc. Their soups change every day. We sat in a booth near the window and it was perfectly comfortable. Companion had eggs Florentine, which was pretty much eggs Benedict with spinach. Came with a pile of home fries. He was happy. I had one of my favorites, the happy waitress sandwich which if you’re not familiar as an open faced grilled cheese, normally served with tomato and bacon on white bread. I modified it to use rye bread and no bacon. I also got an order of coleslaw rather than the included fries. It’s an impossible dish to ruin as all it takes is melting the cheese on top of the bread. If you look at the picture, I was a bit disappointed that the bread was not covered by the cheese, however, in a very pleasant conversation with the owner on my way out, she pointed out that rye bread is a lot bigger than the white bread they usually serve it on. She had a point. The coleslaw was amazing. Finely shredded with just the right amount of mayonnaise and sugar. The owner told me they get a huge amount of takeout business for the coleslaw and I’m not surprised. The service was unfortunately not great. It was efficient, but the waitress was not at all friendly. An attempt to make a joke, or even comment on her love is greater than hate T-shirt did not evoke a response. Thank youse did not get your welcome in return. It was actually the bus boy that came over and asked me if I would like a glass of water, never offered by the waitress. A perfectly fine Diner and when in Kingston, I would certainly return. Next time might try the desserts.

We stopped in for breakfast based on reviews from here when looking for some where to eat while in the area. Food was good and they have a large menu to select from. Service was great !!

Food was OK, server forgot to smile the entire time for us and every guest that we noticed. Water was so bad, it left Abad taste in my mouth, even after we were done eating and only had 1 sip, that's how bad the water tasted. I am unsure what the $1.50 charge on the bill is for.

A quaint Diner serving breakfast at anytime during the day,today I was having a late breakfast at 1:30 p.m. And Dietz was very accommodating, scrambled eggs fluffy and fresh,home fries cooked with onions was tasty and sausage links was a nice side as well as a side of French fries (frozen) would be nice if this was made fresh. Croissant was delicious but a bit soggy. If your in the neighborhood give Dietz a try, nice neighborhood eatery. I noticed quite a bit of regular customer as the waitress knew a few by name.

The GOOD, the Chicken Parmesian Panini was good and balanced between the sauce and cheese. The BAD, the pizza for the kids was sloppily assembled, the "crust" was wet and not from the sauce. The cheese was a literal piece of cheese thrown on haphazardly instead of shredded cheese. The wrap, was dry despite stating it had Chipotle mayo, the chicken wasn't seasoned and they could've added a sliver of bacon. Maybe the chef had an off day? Not sure but I know the chicken parm was good so I hope that the dining experience can be better.

I went to dietz for the first time in maybe 30 years. It was okay. Got the poppers - luke warm temp wise and absent any heat from the jalapenos. Can't recall what my sister got, but I do recall it was unremarkable. But the chocolate egg cream was right on time.

Maybe it was just an unusually busy time? It seemed like a decent enough place. I might try it again, but not when time is tight.

Slightly disappointing experience. The wait staff was inattentive, the food was subpar, and it took a long time to receive it. There are vastly superior Diners in town.

Food was not great :( I don't eat meat but I could taste sausage or bacon from the potatoes and it was gross. My friend had meatloaf burger and the meatloaf was dried out and not fresh.

Recently the service and food here have declined in quality. My last breakfast (b.e.c. wrap, pictured) had overcooked eggs, undercooked potatoes, and past the initial few bites only contained cheese and some fried egg bits in the wrap. Being very close by frequently I have gone here several times; and the past three visits/meals were disappointing to say the least. Best thing I have ever gotten here was the eggs florentine, even when ordered to-go, that dish is worthy of at least one star! Frankly it's probably the best eggs florentine I have ever had.

Make it very difficult to call in to order, ask for a simple change that does not add to order! Always trying to uncharge on every single thing. Rude on phone.

I ordered a turkey Panini. It was beautiful presented a lot of food I wasn’t too hungry so I only took about a bite out of the sandwich and brought the rest home. What a disappointment! When I bit into the sandwich at the diner it was very dry and tasteless. I took it home when I got home I immediately opened it up And sure enough it was so dried like if it was put in the refrigerator for several days without being covered I was so disappointed. Your food used to be so good what happened. You know customers are not idiots we could tell the difference between turkey the way it should be nice and moist or leather otherwise crap With no taste and dry. Just thought I’d say something, not that I feel I’ll do any good. This was a below sub or turkey sandwich. And I won’t be coming back
