We drive from San Antonio just to eat here & it’s amazing! Jose customer service is superb!!! He always makes his way from where he’s at to make sure we get attended and will even check on us when we are eating to ensure the food is nothing less than exceptional! The manager was very nice and welcoming & checked on us once the food was out (very fast might I add) and it was nice and fresh. I personally loved the grilled chicken, but the fried chicken was tasty as well! The sweet plantains took me back to home (Panama). I enjoyed the rice as well.

Back again! There is no fried chicken this good. It is so flavorful and crispy.. Not a thick batter. The flavors are like no other taste in fried chicken. I don't know how this place isn't booming.. Maybe lack of advertising. I can't imagine anyone who likes fried chicken could not absolutely love it. This place is such a gem. It's too bad they don't really advertise. This is hands down some of the best fried chicken I've ever had.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pollo Campero is a game-changer! My wife, originally from Los Angeles, insisted I stop by while I was in Austin for a meeting—and I’m so glad I did. I picked up the 20-piece chicken, and it was absolutely amazing. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. It’s no wonder she was so adamant about it! The service was quick and friendly, making the experience even better. If you’re looking for delicious fried chicken with bold flavors, Pollo Campero is the place to go. We’ll definitely be making this a regular stop whenever we’re in town!

This place is so yum!! Love it. On certain days and times it is packed and for sure I know why. The fried chicken is so delicious and moist and flavorful. The sweet plantains were my favorite. The staff is so kind and friendly and respectful I love it. I totally recommend yall.

The food was good. The yuca fries were fresh and the roasted chicken breast were pretty good. We encountered the dish washer as we came in and she was pleasant. The lady who brought the food out was also nice. The price is good as well. The only thing that could have been is the chicken was not as hot/fresh as the fries and there was some blood on one breast.

My sister picked up an order for me. I got a 9 piece nugget combo with rice and a roll. I seriously love the nuggets. The first time I tried them was in Kyle, Texas. They were so good! The new one opened up in Southpark Meadows on the 3rd of December. I was so happy to be getting some nuggets. Unfortunately I was deflated. The nuggets were heavy on the salt. 🫤 That's why I gave a 4 *. Maybe it'll be better on a different day.

We stopped here because Torchy’s and P. Terry’s were packed. We spent $48 on four meals. Our kids got the two-piece meal, and my husband and I got the spicy sandwich meal. Drinks aren’t included, so that’s an extra charge. Their soda machine was out of Pepsi, and the other options were flat. Overall, the chicken was pretty good, but we probably won’t be coming back.

We chose to eat here because it was late and close by Costco. I chose a 2pc with one side. The guy said they were famous for their fried chicken so that is what I chose. The fried chicken was good and very juicy. It could have used a bit more seasoning but good none the less. I wasn't a fan of most of the sides. I did try the yucca fries, not something for me. The fries were good but nothing spectacular. I did try the nuggets my grandbabies had and they were probably my favorite item on the menu. Overall experience was good.

It was my first time trying this place . I was with my girlfriend and she told me her and her family enjoy this so I had to try it . We got the 4 piece mixed non spicy with bread and a coleslaw with and Horchata drink . First I like chicken and this spot had flavor that I haven’t tried before , the bread was okay nothing special and the fries also . When I took a sip of the Horchata it was mid almost watered down but the back flavor was good . So over all I give thing place an 7.8 rating . Ordered 2 bowls, and a 2 piece grilled chicken plate with a side of plantains and a roll. The bowls were pretty good, the fried chicken wasn’t greasy at all which was great. Definitely could’ve shared the bowl instead of ordering 1 per person. This is a great lunch option if you’re looking for a small filling healthy cheap meal as the 2 piece was about $7/$8!! If I could change a few things it would be to add a sauce to the bowl, flavor the rice as a cilantro lime rice and on the menu, swap the pinto beans for black beans and list what comes in the bowl as well. Additionally, I’m not a huge fan of the grilled chicken seasoning flavor- tastes sort of bland and oily

Fried chicken: amazing. Grilled chicken: a crime. I came here ready to enjoy some chicken… and left with trust issues. The fried chicken was fantastic — crispy, juicy, everything my ancestors would’ve wanted for me. The grilled chicken, however… tasted like it was punished for something. Hard pass. Tasted like lemon Pine-Sol, lol The pinto beans? Delicious! The rice? I’m not sure what happened there, but it tasted... ummm... dirty? Idk, hard to explain. Also, the French fry portion was tiny. I ate them in about 7 seconds. They tasted good, but come on — don’t be shy with the fries. And the ultimate betrayal? They only have Pepsi products. I’m a Coke person. My taste buds were disappointed, and my soul was confused. Great fried chicken. Everything else… depends on how hungry you are.

I came here for the first time a couple days ago, and was disappointed. My gf ordered a chicken sandwich combo, I bought a four piece. Both with fries. She said the bread on her chicken sandwich was stale like it had been sitting out for a while. Tasted it, and sure enough, it was old. My chicken wasn't any better it was undercooked and was still pink in the middle. Gross. Also wasn't crispy at all. Wasn't anything special and a bit overpriced. Safe to say I don't think I'll be returning any time soon .

I got told me leave the drive thru and 5 minutes for my food. 20 minutes later I go inside and I see the cool throw it in the fryer/ whatever. My main problem was that the store wasn’t busy and people behind me inline got their food before me. I asked the truck behind me what he ordered and it was the same thing.
