Everything ok. Fresh hot food. Nice staff. Told us about the promotion and saved us $2 👍 One small minus - you have to clean the lobby more often. P.S. Today we had shrimps in Mango sauce. The sauce turned out to be very spicy and we didn't finish our dish. It is necessary to warn visitors that the dish is spicy.

The pollo bowels are mostly rice and beans with very little chicken its supposed to be double chicken and the serve very little. What I think is really terrible is the CHURROS lord please don’t sell the dish if you are not going to prepare it properly. There is nothing on them and they are supposed to be meant as a sweet treat. They are selling just dry flour sticks. I’ve bought them multiple times and they are always served the same as this location. Barely any sugar or cinnamon. Literally false advertising. Other locations make them the way they are supposed to. Please do better. Thank you

Food is great, you're forced to navigate a complicated and poorly organized kiosk, they will not take in person, in store orders, and if you need help with the kiosk, they reluctantly help only with the item you're having issues with. They said if I want to order in person, use the drive through. By the way, very expensive for what you get. It's high quality but the hassle, hijinx, escapade and all that really makes for an abhorrent experience.

I always dine in so can't comment on drive thru times. The food is consistently decent. This store needs a refresh inside badly, it doesn't present itself well.

Very poorly managed location in my opinion. Often the trash is overflowing and if you need help at the inside counter you have to wait and wait. Occasionally you will get an employee who cares, but today there was a problem with their automated ordering system and the employee treated me like a bother when he finally came to help. Other employees saw me standing there obviously waiting for help and had no intention of informing whoever was supposed to help. Not a happy place.

The chicken was tasty, the beans too salty and tortillas not whole. But the shocker was no one to talk to. There is an ordering kiosk and when the meal was brought forward, I had to remind the person of the other thing on the order. She apologized and went to get it. Upon returning I mentioned I still needed a cup. She said the fountain wasn't working. They were out of gas. I said I had paid for a drink. She said it wasn't working. There was nothing she could do. Again I said I paid for a drink. She said there is none. But I paid for it. Then she offered a refund, I said what about a cup of water? She gave me a cup, the ice worked, the water ran and so did the ice tea dispenser. Not first choice, but ok second choice. No salsa either. Very sad how far el pollo loco has gotten towards terrible.

I love El Pollo Loco so every time when I visit the West Coast I would binged. But this location is horrible. The chicken is so dry…. I ordered a 16 pcs family meal for 5 people and the lady gave me 2 salsas! When I asked for napkins I got 4. The place is dirty…the floor hasn’t been swept nor the tables. The restroom has no soap. The garbage bin was overfilled. Management needs to step up at this location. On the other hand, the location in Arcadia is amazing!

This place employees lacking. Tables food crumbs all over, the chair is all messed up. Foods trays still on tables, trash is full. The chicken is dry and over cooked.

Came into this El Pollo loco the other day and had two orders. The $5 order which was a coupon deal I didn't check before I went out of the store and it was literally throw away chicken it was completely burned up and couldn't eat it the second order was a full meal for two people and it was awful it was stale, the chicken was dry again. At least it wasn't burned up, sides were not up to the quality that I remembered prior to last year I used to go to this store all the time when I was working in that area so I thought it would be good but it sure has changed. Lots of employees behind the counter standing around. I frequented various El Pollo locos at least three or four times a week prior to the pandemic I definitely won't be back to this one and it gives me serious doubts about the rest of how the chain is run these days.

To top it off the sign for the drive thru was turned off or not operational. The debit machine was down. So we had to pay cash. We didn’t get asked if we wanted salsa. And the churros didn’t have and sugar or cinnamon on them. Corporate really needs to send a representative out to help this team. The chicken was dry and practically had no meat on the bones. I think that there needs to be quality control on what goes out to customers even if that means throwing out old product not good enough for consumption. The rest of the food was ok but e really would like to see an improvement of the quality and effort put out by this location. 1👍🏼 outta 3👍🏼’s because it seems they are really only doing the bare minimum.

Used to be very delicious but today August 3rd, 2025, I ordered 12 pc family meal and the chicken pieces were burned, very dry and hard. Maybe they are from old grilled pieces that were grilled twice today. My kids complained they were so hard to eat. The coleslaw was not good neighter. It is fresh but not enough mayo or too much water? I do not know but not good compare to before. Hope they find out reason and fix it because I go there alot.

When I got home we didn't get salsa cilantro lemon etc. The guy who handed it to me didn't even ask if u needed salsa knowing I was looking for the salsa area. It's my first time picking it up. It never happened to my husband bzillion times he picked up.
