At Oceanview Terrace, we're a college restaurant serving up international comfort eats that will become your new favorites. Our spacious interior is designed to feel like home, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy a meal. We've heard from our customers that our dishes are consistently delicious - think flavorful stir-fries and satisfying burgers - and our service staff is always friendly and attentive. One thing we love about our restaurant is the stunning views of the ocean just outside our windows, making every meal feel like a special occasion.
Was Kunden über Oceanview Terrace sagen
Oceanview Terrace is popular for its pizza, Spice station options, and beautiful views. It's a reliable spot on campus, especially for late-night eats. Downsides include long waits, occasional dirty tables, and loud music.

Tip: Order coffee half sweet, as it tends to be very sweet otherwise. Be prepared for long lines, especially during peak hours.

Great food and lovely dining areas
I had a good time. Keep it coming!!!
Love the pizza. Most reliable place on campus - the food is good quality, good tasting, and they are open most days, most hours.
Good pizza, better bagels. Get the salmon bagel with lemon caper cream cheese for a life changing experience.
It's right across from Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa. It's open for take-out only during the return weeks before the official start of the Fall 2020
Clean and bright place with a lot of choices. Even has a kosher section - one of few in San Diego.
Here w my daughter pepp pizza was good! Acai smoothie delish!
Well, in ucsd, I guess this is one of the place I think it is okay...decent food there :)
Really good food. Maybe a little crowded but that's not surprised with the food.
UCSD's only place to be seen eat'n out on a Sunday!!! Be cool, Be Healthy, Be there!!!
I hope Putin die very soon, and we can celebrate their all of us!!
It's a great place, I highly recommend it.
Love the view, food is great and customer service is always nice.
Lovely restaurant to hang out and study at. Pizza and a coffee/pastry bar.
The kosher section makes a great spicy chicken
Great selection of sweet and savory goodies.
My favorite dining hall at UCSD. Spice Station has great kosher options and Scholar's has the best pizza on campus.
Has a lot of pizza. Uses disposable plates only. The ocean is visible but the ocean view is not great
Sunset perfection. Beautifully open and bright space with brilliant glass architecture.

Thanks a whole lot to counter culture's pastries and donuts, it saved me many mornings and evenings. I really like bread and pastries, but there were almost no bakery stores near the campus. I almost gave up on having any pastries during my time in UCSD, until I found out OCT has its own corner for pastries. There are some choices but not a lot, mainly croissants, muffins, danish, and a variety of donuts. The taste is decent (in a good way) and I like it a whole lot. I visit the counter almost every week on my way back from class. Also, their drinks are too sweet for me and I wish there's an option to adjust it.
Beautiful views. One of the most beautiful places to eat at ucsd. The salmon is delicious and worth buying, the pizza is great (except for the soggy quattro fromage), and one of the only places on campus with a good drink and dessert selection. There's a bathroom in there too, tons of outlets for long study sessions, and a variety of seating. Worth your dining dollars, but spend your real money elsewhere
Oceanview Terrace is the best dining hall on the UCSD campus besides 64°. If you get the chance to eat at Spices there is a wide range of options from chicken, salmon, pork, tofu, etc. It has the most variety and is constantly changing giving it a dynamic that no other dining hall on campus has to offer.
The oceanview restaurant offers the best pizza in UCSD. 2 for 15dollars if you use the campus card. What’s more, it opens during summer sessions.

Overpriced but one of the better dining hall on campus
Pizza is good, gelato is nice, 24/7 space available with open coffee/gelato bar, new hangout spot at UCSD
I haven't had problems at Counter Culture. As far as dining hall at UCSD goes it's one of the better ones
The food is expansive but decent for an on-campus dinning hall. The remodeling looks cool
It is a very good place to get food and has cheap options.
Food is alright. Ocean view technically exists but a bit distant.
Somewhat of a misnomer, since you can't really see the ocean. But it was pretty decent food.
My favorite make your own pizza place on campus.
I happened upon this hidden gem when visiting my beloved grand nephew, Gareth. Ordering my staple meal for the last 52 years of my sorrowful life, the only thing that brings light to my years other than Gareth, my pizza. After waiting a mere 2 hours 23 minutes and 12 seconds on the dot, this homunculous of a pizza arrived within my vicinity. From its mere presence alone I felt my tongue quiver with excitement. Gareth.

always busy, have to wait so looong
Wide and open spaces with late night availability. Unfortunately, compared to other dining halls, Oceanview is pricier than most for students on s budget, and lacks variety, with pizza, bagels, or chicken being the main dishes.
Pleasant venue with plenty of good food options. Most seating is inside, but they do have some outside seating. I'd like it a little better if they didn't pipe music everywhere, but at least it's not too loud to hold a conversation.
Food is good, especially from Spice. The pizza is good too but always greasy. The tables are dirty most of the time but other than that the place is pretty clean.
I come here late at night with my girlfriend, during the day the line can get very long in all the food sections, especially the pizza line. The quality of your order will depend on who's working, student workers can sometimes undercook your pizza or misinterpret your order. But the redeeming factor is that it's open until 2am, great for late night cravings.
Usually a wait but its worth it most of the time. Gelato counter is almost never staffed. They make coffee very sweet so order half sweet is my advice. Salmom bagels are where its at.
spice and pizza are consistent 👍 lots of crumbs in seating area after 4:30 PM
Overall the food here is pretty good 👍 spice is quite good and has options that are quite healthful and fibrous. The pizza is solid and acceptable. The scholar’s Italian is not my personal favorite but it is fine. And I don’t really know a lot about counter culture, but it seems acceptable.

Good pizza, but sometimes the cheese to sauce ratio is compromised. Overall, not bad.
overhyped pizza, basically no other good food
Scholar’s Pizza is great. Has the best dining hall pizza for about $10, although the portion size is rather small. Counter Culture is okay but serves some decent bagels (nowhere near East Coast quality). Scholar’s Italian is much like the rest in that it packs light but charges heavily whilst Spice is new and always has a line, at least at the time of writing this.

This driving hall is ok, done good ears at spice you just have to know what to get and when to go because the wait can get pretty long. Lots of seating but the music in there is obnoxiously loud.
Spice is great. 5 stars. Good food, good service, decent price. Counter Culture is terrible. 1 star. Takes at least ten minutes to get any simple drink. Orders just go unfilled. Prices are just okay. There are cheaper, better places elsewhere on campus.

Six people working in the kitchen and only one actually doing anything, five people in line could be an hour long wait
shrimp pesto carobona was terrible. Don't try it.
Severely understaffed. Took 20 minutes to order, because the worker had to make each order before she could take another one.
The food was really good, but the service was sub par in specific I did not like the way Jose was talking to me, he made me feel unwelcome and degraded my whole experience.
