Yogurt World is very based. They often have 10% discounts so you can support clubs. Also, the owner is very nice. They have a lot of flavors, but I don't think it really matters what you get since they all taste good. I just put a bit of each and forget what flavors I get. They each taste different so eating the milk tea flavor right after a fruit flavor makes it taste bitter at first. They have little sample cups if you ask. Personally I don't really bother sampling since they're all good
I discovered Yogurt World last year and have have been coming frequently ever since!! The froyo is outstanding (it doesn’t have that weird artificial/overly sweet flavor that I’ve found at most froyo chains) and the flavors are incredibly creative. The owner is also the NICEST man and the prices are reasonable. My favorite flavors are Saffron Rose, Black Sesame, Taro, Matcha, and Chocolate Brownie. The saffron rose is pictured here in both photos, and the multi flavor photo also has matcha (green), taro (purple), and chocolate brownie. The saffron rose reminds me so much of faloodeh and malabi, which are so hard to find in the US. The last photo is the flavors schedule. Highly recommend!! A perfect place to decompress after class.
Have consistently eaten here every chance I've gotten, well worth it! I can't stress enough just how nice the owner is. All of my experiences with him have been strictly positive. Also, all the flavors of the frozen yogurt that I've had are great! Sometimes the dispensers are a bit inconsistent with how they pour out the yogurt, but it's nothing that'd ruin the flavor or something of the sorts, and it's only something I've noticed with a few flavors, like the Pink Lemonade Sorbet. Do be aware that the flavors rotate, depending on the day, but I'm fairly certain that the owner keeps the schedule for that up on the front window. As for seating, it can get a bit crammed if you're planning on eating inside, but there's plenty of outdoor seating nearby. Despite these few minor complaints of mine, it's still a VERY easy place to recommend stopping by every once in a while! Don't let the small inconveniences discourage you from visiting! Also, I recommend the Frozen Lemonade Sorbet if it's available!
I freaking LOVE this place! This is one of my favorite dessert places on UCSD campus! I visit probably too much but the frozen yogurt is delicious. The matcha, coffee, and taro flavors are my favorite. The store manager is really nice and friendly and lets me take an extra spoon because I collect them lol. I have taken most of my friends and family here. The location is also a plus because right outside is the beautiful Triton fountain.
This place has an amazing selection! They have a wide variety of soft serve flavors and toppings I’ve never seen before! The shop owner is so friends as well! I will come again!!
I loved yogurt world! Highly recommend the jasmine milk tea flavor, the lychee/coconut jelly, and the mochi.
Great place for a sweet treat! The yogurt is creamy, fresh, and there are plenty of tasty toppings to choose from. Friendly staff and clean space. Perfect for a quick dessert stop in UCSD.
Umm why does Yogurt World have the best yogurt flavors in the world! Black Sesame Wednesday’s will be my new favorite treat to look forward to on campus!
Amazing, definitely one of the best places to eat something sweat on campus.

Just stopped in for a walking tour of local architecture and needed a refreshing treat. This place hit the spot! The gentleman working was very accommodating, worked quickly under the still distancing circumstances, and answered all of our questions! A Hawaiian pineapple/strawberry custard blend with yogurt chips and graham cracker crumbs hit the spot!! Amazing burst of flavor, great chat with the employee and fellow architecture lover, and it topped off our visit! This place is awesome in summer on a hot day!
Best FROYO I have had. Very clean, lots of toppings and super-duper nice owner. Every time we go to SD we get some 😋
You can go just about anywhere and find a FroYo shop with a wide variety of flavors and toppings. What really makes Yogurt World UCSD special is the service and the atmosphere. Both times I have gone here with my daughters, we have been treated like important guests and made to feel welcome. The owner even gave little duck toys to each of my daughters, which made their day. He even took an interest in my story, which I truly appreciated. We have a favorite FroYo place here in San Diego, and it is Yogurt World UCSD!
Long time customer of Yogurt World (going on 10+ years at this point). The store is meticulously cleaned and owner is very understanding of allergens. Super cute cups and spoons. Good mix of unique and classic flavors. Ample outdoor seating in front. A great place for a snack, to catch up with friends, or to de-stress.
The man that runs this place is a master of his craft. He makes several flavors that are made one-of-a-kind, that can't be found anywhere else in SD. Try the cheesecake, it's not what you think...extra creamy and decadent!
Literally one of the best frozen yogurt spots in San Diego. I still come all the way to campus for this place even after graduating. The owner is always so nice and all the employees are too. I love how unique their flavors are and they rotate pretty often. Tbh I go there especially because they'll do some really interesting Asian inspired flavors and they're so good every time. It's hard now for froyo places to differentiate themselves but this one stands out!
The owner (I assume) is literally the nicest and friendliest guy on campus. He's a pleasant man in all ways. And the yogurt is really good, especially for it's price. It's similar to Yogurt Land except the flavors provided (in my opinion) are much more flavorful. Would recommend for everyone to try.
Yummy and lots of flavor rotations downing on what day of the week you come. Be on the lookout on Reddit and campus for club promotions, where you can get 10-15% off
So much better than yogurtland🥰 honey Greek yogurt is my fav
Great place to make your own frozen yogurt bowl!! It is 69 cents by weight so you can mix and match as many flavours and toppings you like and then pay by weight! It was a great experience with kids and the variety of flavours was very vast! Highly recommended!
The guy who runs this is fantastic. Always nice, with a great memory for recognizing people, and seems to always be smiling. The yogurt flavor options are great with some changes often, and LOTS of topping/condiment options, from sweets to boba to soft caramel to candy bar pieces to nuts, etc.
