Oscar is the only night shift server you should have. The other servers we’ve had before were rude and incompetent. Keep up the good work Oscar. Update 11-22-2025 1:00am: Another night without Oscar as our server… the lady failed to make our order right on multiple levels despite telling her what we wanted twice. When she realized part of the order was incorrect due to Oscar checking on us, she tried to shift the blame on the cook and even Oscar despite him being the one to help us out in the first place. Again, Oscar is the only good night shift server. Promote him to night manager.

The food was way better than I expected, our server Christopher was really awesome. He is a polite and very friendly guy, made the experience 10x better.

Best IHOP ever! Portions were way more than I could eat. The crepes were perfect and fruity-licious. Scrambled eggs were just right and super cheesy. Grits were a huge bowl and just right. Staff was Chikfila nice and very attentive. I will go there again if I'm back in town.

My fiancé and I frequent the IHOP in LaMarque often and we always gotta sit at one of Shaniqua's tables. She is really fun to speak with and she is very attentive. It's a bit disappointing when we come in and she isn't working, we love her!

The avocado and bacon eggs Benedict at IHOP is good. Not only that, Kamille is an amazing server. She is very kind to our daughter, she visited our table to check in on us multiple times. Their children’s menu is picture based and allows your little ones to take initiative and order on their own easily. (She circles her choices).

By far the best IHOP I have visited in a long time.. service was exceptional from the time we walked in the door until we left .. it was so good I forgot to get a before pic..Thank you Nevaeh.

I had a great visit to IHOP! The pancakes were absolutely delicious, fluffy, fresh, and full of flavor. and our waitress chozen was amazing friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The only thing I noticed was that the floor could have been a little cleaner. Overall, still a wonderful meal and great service!

We needed some dinner and we didn't know the area since it was our first time in Texas City. We knew there would be something we all would enjoy

I am very disappointed with this location on 11/3/22. I felt very isolated as the waitress had no problem talking to my wife who is white and other white patrons but deliberately ignored me. She brought us an open hot sauce bottle with no lid. She only brought us 4 creamer. I asked for more creamer. She was annoyed and didn't want to. She forgot our crepe order. She was cleaning a mess and expected me to help her clean it up. I still blessed her with a nice tip.

Ordered the biscuits and gravy meal. Comes with 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, 2 pork sausage links, 2 eggs, hash browns and 2 biscuits with country gravy. I substituted 2 extra pieces of bacon for the sausage and ordered my eggs over easy. When my order arrived I was not pleased, what was supposed to be biscuits was more like 2 1"thick pieces of flatbread and had no flavor, the gravy was bland and cold and there was not enough to cover one biscuit much less 2. The bacon was extra crispy and resembled what you would get when you purchase precooked bacon off the dry goods shelf at the grocery store and it was literally ice cold like it had just been pulled from the walk in. The eggs were a perfect over easy, well perfect if you like your eggs cooked and then refrigerated. Again seems they had been cooked and then put in the wall in cooler as they to where ice cold like to the point the yolks had gelatized. Hi point was the hash browns although mushy where at least Luke warm. But hey for a change the coffee was good and did not taste like old dish water for a change. The waiter was very inattentive and when I complained to him about the food he was like a deer in headlights. No apologies no offer to have it remade(not that I would have done that, as I am way to familiar how short order cooks in these places handle that), no offer to remove the order from the ticket, and no contact with the M.O.D. the waiter was like oh! And then just walked off and hid until we where ready to leave then he comes over and tells us our order total and says he will take our payment when ready. To ticket or receipt was offered or given so we could see what was on it, when we questioned it we got told they do everything on the fancy little tablet and they had no way to get us a ticket or receipt.

Took way too long for service. Party of 16 Only assigned 1 server per table; finally got a mgr to help with orders -our server pretty much disappeared- Never asked to refill drinks, butters, sides were slow to come out Some of our group had finished before we got ours. Steak tips were ok, but low quality beef. Haven’t ate at IHOP in a long time. May be that long before I try again.

Hostess, which was the server, was very rude. She definitely had a hard life and is taking it out on her patrons. I hope the $5 tip could help her get a snickers, which she obviously needed! Hair in my food. So I didn't eat but only 2 bites after discovering it. I'd recommend driving the 20 mins to Galveston location for better service and much better food.

Stopped here for breakfast on my drive back home. Absolutely the worst service I’ve experienced almost 2 hours here. Service was very slow. I gave the waiter patience as I understood he may have been new but would forget to take out order, got the order wrong. NO sense of urgency. The manager was able to assist but it was too late.

Terrible, the service was bad and it took a long time to bring out the food. The food wasn’t even that good, the fried steak was VERY hard, not worth it. In the KIDS meal there were jalapeños we were not warned there were jalapeños. The omelette we ordered was bland, food had no flavor, and the sandwich I ordered, the bread was hard very hard. Me and my 4 kids will never be going there EVER again.

Everytime we eat here, we always are disappointed. This experience, no exception. I asked for hashbrowns extra crispy, I get what is pictured. The food does not look or taste like what is found at other Ihops. A plate of over priced disappointment. Customer service is definitely lack luster. This place is always under staffed, with only one or two people running a busy dining room. We've been here at least a dozen times hoping for a different outcome. This is the worst IHOP I've ever been to, hands down.

Came in for kids eat free special with my wife and two kids, left paying for both my kids meals with purchase of two adult entrees. Was told I had to come in by myself and one kid to get the promotion. Mind you promotion states “One free kids Entree with EACH adult entrees purchase”, ok fine we didn’t get the promo, but my wife bought a classic burger, got charged full price instead of the $6 the banner on the outside of the restaurant. Disappointed, will not be coming back.
