Show Sushi is praised for its fresh fish, large portions, and friendly service, especially from staff like Tony and Melanie. Customers consistently highlight the high quality and variety of rolls. While the all-you-can-eat option is no longer available, many find the food worth the price, though some consider it overpriced.
Tip: Parking is usually plentiful in the plaza. The Three Roll special is a good deal, coming with miso soup.

FRESHEST fish EVER! Their sashami is top tier. They have the fattiest yellowtail which ive never seen and the best cut of toro. Every fish does not have a fishy taste. Been to some omakase places that aren’t as good as this place.
Such good service since your eating outside please bring what you need to survive the elements wind, shade, cold, sunscreen when the sun is out. I order the 3 item dinner combo chicken, spicy tuna roll and mix tempura 🍤 😋 👌 with 2 extra cuts of yellow tail sushi 🍣 was able to finish all my food and was compt ice cream at the end of my meal great stop for lunch or dinner my be a bit cold during night time dinner
Great spot for all you can eat sushi for less then $30 with unlimited rounds. And of course like most all you can eat you must finish. Always willing to make the extra drive to come join the in-laws or just a date night.
This place is by far one of the best AYCE sushi places I have ever been to. Easy to get to. Parking was pretty easy. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. The staff is professional and friendly. The major highlight is the quality of tuna they use. They use blue fin and you can tell.. Superior color, taste and mouth feel. You can also get uni, mackerel and red fish. The eel was also very nice. I will definitely be coming back.
The quality of fish is great for the price. Not everything is to my liking but I just avoid those few. I wish their eel was better. I mostly eat just their nigiri but their rolls are great. Definitely worth trying. It's nice because there's usually no wait here.
The staff is incredibly friendly, I cannot express that more! Mia is one of the best servers I have ever had. The food was really good as well, even down to the green tea ice cream!
Update: 1/24/22 still the absolute best sushi experience I'll ever have. Nothing compares to his place. In the past 4 years coming here, I have never been disappointed. 100/100 The absolute most welcoming sushi place i have been to yet. I had the lunch sashimi combo and it looked exactly like their images. The slices of fish i got were exquisite and fresh. We also had a crunch roll that came in 5 pieces which were too big for my mouth but were delicious regardless. The green tea ice cream is by far the tastiest ive had from anywhere. The staff are so welcoming that you'd feel at home. 10/10 would highly recommend!
Im a regular here and usually order to go. They consistently serve fresh, well prepared sushi. Definitely one of the best spots for sushi in orange county. For the price, i cant think of a better one.
Pretty much become a staple in the Buena Park neighborhood. Like all of their sushi dishes I wish they go back to all you can eat, but I understand nobody is. Great food great service super friendly.
Show Sushi was show good! Sushi was fresh and delicious. We had a couple of rolls and they brought us some appetizers on the house. Staff was great- attentive and friendly. Ended the meal with a complimentary scoop of ice cream- I really enjoyed the red bean!
Quality is key and Show has the quality. Couldn't wait to come here after outdoor dining reopened. Ser ice is top notch and who can beat the 2 for 1 drink specials. Have been a regular since my first visit.
this was amazing seriously. we stopped here on our way back from disney just getting a quick bite of some sushi. we were so shocked in a good way. first of all service was friendly and the food came out very quickly. the food had big portions even though they were fairly priced. i had the udon noodles. perfect tasted great. and my mom had some sushi (and was obsessed with how cold the beer was haha) everything came out amazing definitely recommend if you want a good food place to stop!
Every time I've ordered food the flavors, texture and freshness are always on point. I also like that they are generous with ginger I've never had to ask for extra :) My orders: spicy tuna, salmon sashimi, summer roll, and salmon plate. My only issue is the lunchtime rush, so I always opt for takeout.
Tired of waiting 2 hour wait line at Sake 2 Me, we decided to come here. Immediate seating and great service. While the quality is not as great, it's comparable. Honestly, most can't tell. Chef was fun as he brought out his specials and we bought him drinks. This went on 3 times before he came out for one last special and asked for no more alcohol. Anyways, check it out.
Wow, this place was excellent. The food was very clean and beautiful. The service was outstanding. My new favorite place. Oh yeah, I've never been served such big pieces of sashimi. Love this place.
Delicious food and not too badly priced. Only downside is, it takes a long time to get food from here. They said 25 min over the phone, I got there in 30min and it still wasn't ready. I waited another 15 min.
This was a great place for sushi. AYCE for lunch is 25 flat, it's awesome! The fish is delicious. The staff is courteous and attentive. There's nothing I didn't like about anything I ate or experienced. Will definitely come back here if I'm in the area again.
Service was so attentive and the food was amazing. I will definitely be coming back and recommend to anyone looking for tasty good quality sushi
Very good menu, fresh fish. Depending on the time you come, the dinner offers specials not available during peak lunch. However, The bar is highly recommended, chefs give you on the minute selections immediately compared to ordering off of the usual menu paper and waiting for the all you can eat.
I just had the best experience I could have dreamed of, at this restaurant. To sum up in a word, spectacular! The staff was the right amount of attentive and enthusiastic while remaining unfalteringly helpful and friendly even though we came in an hour before closing. The food was amazing and came at a good speed. Great for all you can eat or take out, a surefire way to have a great experience.
Went with a few buddies. Good and quick friendly staff service. The sushi chef guys were generous, gave a couple of chef specials for free. No baked green mussels though :( . No big deal.
SO MANY OPTIONS! The sushi is amazingly fresh and the sashimi is well portioned, the selection is vast and service is fast. I loved the cooks, shared drinks with guests and created a fun atmosphere and had a really really entertaining happy birthday song!!!
The food was good, the place was nice enough, but the service was just ok. The waitress never came back to offer drink refills.
Sushi rolls are excellent 👌 Bake stuff Jalapenos delicious Spicy garlic edamame ( soy beans ) great Cold beer, hot sake.,. Hand rolls all food is 👍. Service 👍... Chef's are Great Main chef the boss... say hi when visit.
The sushi here is great and the AYCE lunch makes for a good vale if you're really hungry. This might sound unimportant but the music they play here us always on point. Whoever chose the music you get an extra star from me for that! Service is also prompt and extremely polite.
Amazing sushi. Went at the perfect time right before lunch rush. Was seated quickly. Very nice host/hostess and chief. We sat at the bar. Definitely going there more often.
Great quality, they do an awesome 4 classic rolls for $19.99 perfect to share. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. They have outdoor dining currently.
Very fresh fish. Attentive staff. The physical place is nicely laid out. Clean, with LED lighting, and has 8 HD tvs, that show sports. They also brought us salmon and tempura on the house. Wow! This is a good spot, fresh fish, friendly staff, freeway close, easy parking. And if it gets really good with your date, there's a hotel right behind it.
This place is an absolute 10/10, Ive been here last year on my first visit to Los Angeles and just came again and nothing changed. It is the best Sushi Ive eaten in my entire life! Great Service, fair prices and TOP tier quality. Its just a pleasure to see these so skilled cooks bringing such great Sushi on our plates. A must visit if you are in L.A, they should open a restaurant in Hollywood or Downtown ❤️
The place was really clean, huge and everything looked new. Food was so delicious and fresh. Server was also super kind, I don't know why the place was empty. I ordered Fried calamari that sound easy but actually difficult to find a good one and they served the best calamari so far in my Cali experience. I'd definitely go there next time again.
Always been great, first time I came with friends and we got the huge boat as well as some special rolls. I’ve come myself since I live 2 minutes away several times as well as ordered take out. My favorite is always the yellowtail surprise but it’s all good.
I loved the Alaskan roll. I also tried the Summer roll, Sweet Hawaiian, and Yellowtail Surprise. Although I liked the other rolls, I would probably be happy with two Alaskan rolls lol.
Close to empty at 6:30pm on a Monday. Got seated right away. Our server, Chelsey was very nice and fast. Since the place of kind of empty, we got our food very quickly. They didn't mess up the order like other all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants. The sushi was okay, but their eel was amazing. Definitely going back!
Quality sushi. So delicious and great service. This restaurant is so clean and well maintained.
Very fresh, sushi chef is excellent, highly recommended from a Japanese family!!
Fantastic service! The host who sat us was also the owner, was very welcoming. I eat sushi at only a few locations due to quality of fish, here every single bite was amazing just like the first & quality..is GREAT. They have a few items I have never heard of but where super tasty. $22.99 for lunch Ayce Sushi don't miss out.
Fantastic sushi, big roles. Great place, great value!
This place is nothing like those “Instagram-only” Japanese spots. It’s simple, no-frills, and focused on what actually matters — the fish and the knife work. No fancy plating, just straight-up thick-cut sashimi. And I mean thick. The salmon and tuna pieces are generous, rich, and super smooth. One bite in and you’re already satisfied.
I've dined here many times over the years. The food and service are top-notch, and I am happy to be a returning customer. The staff is kind and attentive, and the chefs are hardworking and genuine artists. There are also plenty of TVs to catch sports while eating. Some of my favorites are the Lunch Special Combos and bento boxes. On a recent visit, I ordered the beef bulgogi combo. It was tender and flavorful, the shrimp tempura was light and crispy, the miso soup was hot, and the salad was refreshing. The 10-piece sushi combo (your choice) with miso soup and salad is another go-to if I'm in the mood for a sushi meal and want to try several types of sushi. One of the things I also love about Show Sushi is the variety of sushi and sushi rolls they offer. The combos are reasonably priced, and the size of the sushi and sashimi is always generous, leaving me feeling satisfied. The appetizers and other offerings are also well prepared. At the end of the meal, you can enjoy a complimentary scoop of ice cream, available in either green tea or vanilla. Unfortunately, they no longer offer AYCE, which I enjoyed in the past. Despite the price increase due to inflation, Show Sushi remains a value for the money and is competitive with other similar businesses. I'm happy to support local. I can't wait to try more food!
This is always a dependable spot for your neighborhood sushi! Parking is great, usually there’s many spaces to park your car near the front. If you can’t find one, there’s way many more nearby in the plaza. Whenever I walked in, it’s been spacious with plenty of seats and tables. The cool air is on and the servers/chefs are attentive to greet you. Barely any wait and immediate walk through, which is surprising. Service has been pretty great the few times I’ve come by. Waiters/waitresses will check in on you or it’s easy to flag em down whenever you need to order. Every time I’ve come here to catch a lunch with friends, it never failed to provide us a good platter of appetizers and nigiri combos. I personally like getting their 20pc nigiri combo and adding an appetizer like their spicy edamame, garlic scallops, or tako. The chefs give generous cuts of fish with an even rice ratio. They also have a good amount of wine, beers, and even soju. Good spot to get lunches and dinners! Complimentary ice cream at the end is the perfect cherry on top. The matcha is creamy and has a slight vanilla taste to it. So good!
Regular here! Always outstanding! TV screens show news and sports Outdoor dining as well Service is efficient and friendly Sushi is excellent Miso soup Cucumber salad with crab meat Sushi rolls Salmon salad Green tea ice cream On various occasions Everyone I dine with loves it! Clean restrooms Plenty of free parking Wheelchair ♿️
This is the defacto place for good quality and moderately priced sushi. Their quality and freshness is quickly noticed. Their variety of rolls is immense. They also have TORO which is not found just anywhere specially not the quality of theirs. The staff is super friendly and polite. This place is highly recommended.
WOW, service was fantastic! No attitudes, no huffing and puffing from the staff! Chef was awesome and food was even better. I will definitely come back here every time I’m in the Cerritos area. Chef even gave me a complimentary baked Salmon which I thoroughly enjoyed due to the deliciousness of it!
This was my first time having all you can eat sushi and for the price, it was worth it. The service here was excellent, very quick on getting the food and drinks out, and gave an overall welcoming vibe. We had a waitress named Melanie I believe, and she was just great, beginning to end along with the other girl who helped along(never caught her name). The sushi was great tasting, very fresh, and even the soup I believe it was, was great tasting! I highly recommend that people should go here for sushi. Just don't eat with your eyes because there is a policy where if you can't finish what you ordered that you have to pay a fee for everything unfinished, which I see fit because seafood is expensive as it is. I will most likely be returning every time I'm in the area.
The service and sushi are good. Whenever I want fresh sushi, this is my go to spot.
The food was good, we all enjoyed our rolls. Only disappointment was that many of the rolls were only 5 pieces instead of the normal 8. The staff was friendly and it was very busy but we were well taken care of.
So here's the deal. This location is not owned by the same people who own the location in San Dimas. They don't have the all you can eat menu or the wacky happy birthday singing. The sushi served here is the same, so great as usual. It feels a bit pricier but not excessively so. For 4 people, we left with a bill about $140.
First off, pre pandemic I was here alot and through the pandemic I ordered to go to help them keep going, they have some good sushi, and sushi chefs...post pandemic, no more all you can eat, it's hard to go back for the prices, unfortunately I'd travel to matsu in HB for this money...but still can say show is good in a pinch and delicious sushi, but unfortunately for the price and dine in experience I'll head south
I've been going to Show sushi (both branches) for many years and every time they served fresh and good quality sushi, nigiri, and sashimi. The portions are generous. My personal go to is the salmon and yellowtail nigiri and the rice-less raw rolls as well as the Tropical roll.
My go to place if I'm craving for Sushi and budget is a little tight. They have fresh fish and the price is not as expensive compare to Kabuki or any other mid tier Sushi place. My advice is to buy one of the Sushi Chef beer and he will hook you up with some free fish. The beer here is buy one get one free so I usually get one and then I gave the free beer to Sushi Chef. Give the beer to Chef Kevin and he will hook you up with some goodies. Yum! You might ask why 4 stars only... Well.. like I said unfortunately this place is a mid tier Sushi quality. Plus the ambiance is a bit loud. You see, I'm old fashioned. When I eat Sushi, I want to eat it in peace.
I was a little disappointed because they no longer have outside dinning; however, I was not disappointed by the DELICIOUS food. They do not offer all you can eat, but practically get the same deal when you order rolls. I highly recommend this place and my favorite is the Washington roll.
We ordered 20 pcs, 2pcs of eel were in a separate container. It's been a while since I had sushi last time. And I don't remember when I ever had this good sushi. There were a lot of sushi restaurants around the area, and we were extremely happy that we pick this place. We are definitely going back for more. The only problem was wait time. I was told 20-25 minutes to get my order ready. I showed up in 25 minutes and had to wait for 30 more minutes. You gotta work on that. Otherwise it would have been 5 star experience. Well done!
We came here for dinner for the first time. The restaurant is large and clean, there was plenty of staff so there was no wait time. Food: we had miso soup which was a little on the salty side. We also had three rolls: summer roll, tiger roll and yellow tail roll. Summer and yellow tail were very good, it was fresh good quality fish. The tiger was good but very large to fit in your mouth. To drink we had a Kyoto Yuzu beer which was very nice and smooth. The only negative i feel was that it felt like we were being rushed to eat and pay when it was 8 pm and the restaurant closes at 10 pm. We were drinking our beers when one of the waitress came by and asked us if we were waiting on anything else, and already had our bill when we still wanted to order the third and last roll. I think we would give this place a second chance though and hope the visit would be a more pleasant one.
This was my first time here and I have to say it was a very good experience! Even though this restaurant was very busy on Presidents Day night but the service was wonderful !! It was outstanding to see all the servers working as a team to the many customers. Thank you very much for the wonderful service !! Again service be in the Forefront of my satisfaction as for all those who read my reviews. I came here bcuz my customer whom we share our restaurant experiences with recommended it. She likes it because of the many varieties of different rolls they have. I agree with her that there are a lot to choose from. Even though I'm not a big fan of eating too many rolls due to the rice filling me up. I did enjoy them. The oysters were especially fresh and tasty! The fish was fresh. The only reason I gave this establishment 4 stars instead of 5 is bcuz I felt the amount of rice to Sashimi was more equal instead of being less rice and more Sashimi. This is why I mostly go to Ozen in Buena Park - because of the little amount of rice that goes with a big piece of Sashimi !!
This review started off as a 4 star review, initially. The place is super clean and organized. You can tell the owner's take pride having a spotless place. Our initial server was great. We decided to go with ACYE sushi. She was a little pushy at first, but all of our first orders came out quickly. Fish was fresh and portions are generous. Rolls I ordered were 8 pieces and the sushi eclipsed the rice underneath. Things went downhill from there, unfortunately. Our server, decided not to tell us her shift was over. So, our next server was not exactly attentive. After our finishing our first round of food, we waited about 15 min before even seeing the server again. After making our 2 round of orders, 20 min passed. Now I could chalk this up to the sushi chefs making all the food fresh. We decided to ask another server walking by if he had seen our server and we've been waiting for the 2 round of food. Apparently, he had forgotten to put the orders, while we were left wondering WTH is going on with the food. Luckily, the passerby server we asked, then became our new server and saved what could've been a disastrous lunch for 4 HANGRY people. Thank you last server guy for saving it. I might be a while if I return to this place or not.
I can understand the name change and over all atmosphere of the place, but the really younger style let alone the loudness of the music was away more overly done. The beef teriyaki meat flat out way too much gristle, along with the lack of enough salad dressing on all 3 salads (tried to literally to scrape what ever remnant off the plate) lost cause.
Food is very good.... but if you have a food allergy..I highly recommend not coming or double checking your food... 2 times I have said I am deathly allergic to shrimp, and 2 times my meal had shrimp in it. First time I asked for a recommendation on a sushi roll that doesn't have shrimp ...and they recommended a roll...when it arrived it was stuffed with shrimp (hard to see) ...I am so lucky I noticed. 2nd time I ordered a rainbow roll without shrimp stating my food allergy 5 different times...and it came with shrimp. And never offered any compensation . Food is good. But they really don't care if you have an allergy, so be very careful , if you choose to eat here
The food is great and ive been eating here for the past several weeks, but I notice they never give me the same greeting as the other customers get and Im always being rushed and the severs constantly bombard me with "is everything ok?" Its cool when my sever ask me, but when every employee walking around ask you when your trying to enjoy your meal, it gets annoying. Every guest ive seen leaving have been thanked and treated nicely, but every time I leave no one says anything, not even a have a good day or anything. Customers should always feel welcomed and I dont feel it from this place... so imma find me another sushi spot!
I used to love the food here, but I recently came and not only was the fish not fresh, but some of it looked like it was dyed and sitting in a puddle of it to look better. I ended up getting really ill for about a week after with hives and upset stomach. I'm done coming here!
I ordered on the phone and they told me 25 minutes. I arrived 35 minutes later and did not get help right away and when I did get help they just started my order. So I waited and there were people Dining in the restaurant. There were people waiting and without masks but I had one on and they told me to wait outside. I usually treat my employees to sushi from this restaurant but I am going somewhere else from know on.
Very bad and it's like they force you to leave a tip even when the service is bad.
Worst service ever! Went here for my uncle's birthday with group of 12 people. Made reservation for 5pm and when we got there, they gave our table to another group of 12 because they got there 1st. After we finally sit down and ordered the all you can eat menu they brought out wrong orders and completely missed several orders, which they marked off as served. On our second round of order it took them over 50 minutes to bring our food. By the time we got our second order it was already 2 hours since we 1st sat down. My parents had to leave before the 2nd order came out because they had to leave for work. We complained to the manager/owner and she could only say they were busy. She didnt even apologize like bad service is to be expected because they were busy. Definitely not coming back to place.
It advertises on google that is all you can eat. This place is not all you can eat. False advertising.
They charged $10 extra penalty, cause, I left some rice. I have never got penalty from any restaurant in USA. Too much rice served with sushi, so I can not eat all. Tasty was not good enough to swallow, so I left some rice. Then a waiter charged $10 extra penalty. I complain this issue to the waiter, but He never say sorry and he teach "me do not order too much, and it is our rull". I feel very bad experience. It was awufull restaurant. Be careful at this restaurant. If you go to this restaurant, you must order small amount. Also, be careful sushi rice bad tasty.
My aunt dined here 2 weeks ago, tipped the waitress 18%, which apparently was not enough because when my aunt got her credit card statement she was charged over $118 on a $56 bill. She took her receipt & statement to the restaurant. Received somewhat of an apology and no admission of fault from the manager, was only able to get the difference back in cash. No offer for a future comp or discount, just excuses. She enjoys the food but staff needs to be retrained. Check your charges if you dine here.
Avoid this place and run to somewhere else! I'd rather donate all my money than eat here again. I've never had sashimi this bad. Their toro was sour, poorly cut. The uni wasn't cleaned properly and tasted bitter. Disaster sashimi bowl. For a restaurant where the average cost is over $50 per person, environment and food quality were worse than an average food court. Even the utensils and their cups felt extremely cheap. BTW, there were absolutely no services so I gave 0$ tips.
