The staff here is very respectful and helpful even with the fact that they were super busy I don't usually eat this type of food but just because of the staff and the atmosphere I will come back for sure, This crew tonight deserves a raise!

The lady that works there is awesome The first time she told me about the panda 🐼 awards or rewards or whatever that thing is called and I got a deal on the chicken 🐓 I was at $12.67 prior to my app discount and after I scanned my QR code boom 💥 dropped it down to $10.22 like let’s go!!!!!!!!! And she kind of threw in a few more scoops of chicken like the container 🫙 was filled to the tippity top like that paper cardboard container was tight when I opened it Chicken poureth frometh I had the teriyaki chicken and she graciously gave me two 2️⃣ forks as well thinking 🤔 yeah maybe this guy is about to share it with some one that’s far too much chicken teriyaki for a single person But nope! Not at all, that chicken ma’am I ate every bite of it and I have no regrets either I’ll do it again and again and again and again. That extra fork went to waste and I think about it every now and then but let me be abundantly clear I ate that chicken all by myself that was all me and I have no shame and yeah maybe it was portions for a family of four 4️⃣ and maybe it was enough for said family to get seconds But all in all it was just enough chicken for me!

A good place to o stop for a quick bite. My wife, Granddaughter and me using Panda Rewards App. Got a full lunch meal half rice, Chow Mein and a choice of 2 sides for $5.51.

Went in this evening after a LONG day with a bunch of relatives. It was such a small interaction, but Geovani A. made it a nice one. He provided excellent service. He was friendly and made us feel welcome. We ordered 4 different bowls. I rattled them off, and he remembered each one - without a doubt, if it had been me, I would've messed it up. So, I just wanted to give a shout-out to Geovani. Thank you for ending my day on a high note!

Loved the spring rolls and steak and shrimp entree. I had chow mein noodles, but the were the thin ones and very dry. They don't offer the thicker noodles anymore.

Service is mostly friendly, and helpful. Usually not short staffed though the line gets long at lunchtime.bthey have a rail to steer the line but it's not well placed so the line gets off frequently and then it's out the door. We waited for an entree to be fresh and they served it right away when it was ready. Portions are acceptable though a little less rice would be nice. Mostly clean but at busy lunchtime they need one more person out washing tables.

I give it 4 stars for the service and the Orange chicken but for price and portions I would give it a 2 stars. I just paid $12.32 for a two entree combo and a drink which is for my personal taste too expensive. PE please either lower your prices or give better portions.

The service and the food was excellent. The drinks need a lot of help. The purchase of the drink was a total waste of money. The tea tasted awful so I dumped it out and got lemonade instead but it was so watered down that it tasted more like water with a drop of lemon flavoring. Next time I bring my own drink.

I’ve had “authentic” Chinese food before, but not gonna lie I’d pick panda over it. Panda has added an amazing American flavor that we all know and love, salt! I got just a bowl with chow mein and orange chicken and tasted amazing like always 😋 the ONLY reason why I’m giving this place 4 stars is because the lady skimped out on giving me orange chicken which wasn’t the Panda 🐼 way... I figured I’d write a review to inspire others to ask for “more” food 🥘 after they read this review. 📝 PS the Chinese lady cooking the orange chicken 🐔 tonight was getting down on the grill

Nice and clean. I went in just before they closed so the items to choose from were limited. But they offered to make more which I appreciated. Had the teriyaki chicken ,fried rice, and chow mein. It hit the spot. Next time I will go earlier.

Food was fresh and delicious. 3 stars because there's only 1 employee plating food and waiting on customers while the others appear to be preparing pick up orders. Long wait at lunchtime.

It's fine. Food is good, generally friendly staff. They no longer have the fork packs. The fork comes with the bag loosely now. I wouldn't care except my back ripped last time and all my food fell on the floor. Covering it with napkins would fix that, but then we'd basically be back to what I would prefer - fork pack w/ napkin.

Small portions especially for prices and they actually will take food off your order if they think you got too much. Not like 99% of all other places where they want you to enjoy your food and make sure you get decent amount . Shrimp was tasty and paid extra forushroom beef and was waste of money there was only tiny pieces of meat it was mushrooms, rhey were tasty but to pay Extra and not really get what was supposed to be .sad. also u can't eat Inside or throw away your trash as rhey like to cover rhe trash cans with empty try upside down..

I like Panda Express but things have changed over the years. Prices up hard, w portions much smaller than the past for sure. Food is still pretty good and while it's lost value still holds up to scrutiny for freshness. All food at Panda Express is much better when fresh out of the wok. As food sits in the case, the quality does degrade, even with fast turnover.

I give service a 3 because my online order was on time, early, actually.. which made it a little soggy, anyway it wasn't late. and 5 stars to the as Asian woman (im sorry I didn't get your name), working the front line. She was so nice and welcoming and on the ball. The other employees (3 or 4, I think I counted), couldn't have cared less that they had customers. And the other young, Hispanic lady working the register had a pretty bad attitude. Made me feel a little bit like I was bothering her with my need for soy sauce. Anyway, it was getting kinda late, I suppose. Maybe they'd all been there all day and it wasn't personal... but customer service does entail a bit of interpersonal interaction.. so, maybe those who hate it and wear it on their faces, should work with birds or doors or something

Food was ok, but the wok seared steak and shrimp portion was miniscule, and, have you ever had potatoes in a Chinese dish? Well this one has plenty of them, and they look just like shrimp if you don't look closely. Purely filler! Shame on them. I won't be going back anytime soon.

Food is decent, place is clean the only reason I don't go there more often is because I don't get my moneys worth. They count every "little" piece of Chicken, beef, shrimp you order (and believe me it's not much at all) If they accidentally put an "extra" piece of whatever you're ordering they will scoop it out of your plate. I have eaten here n taken out the food several times but unfortunately the service has gotten worse time after time. I just picked up 2 plates with 2 items each with even their additional fee menu items so here is the frustration I felt tonite. First the person who was serving the plates was acting like she was counting how many Chow Mein noodles or how many pieces of Angus beef or how many pieces of chicken and vegetables go into each plate. Being cheap shows through loud and clear. I remember hearing the person after me ask that if she could put more of the items in their plates because they didn't think that they were getting enough. Second by the time I got to the cash register the guy who was putting the items together said anything else you'd like and I said no he tried to push me into buying drinks and I said no but I would like two egg rolls and hot sauce hot mustard Chopsticks and soy sauce. He kept repeating how much the food cost without even handing me over the bag. Once I saw the bag it was barely fitting the two styrofoam boxes in it, it did not have the egg rolls nor the soy sauce hot sauce or chopsticks. He asked me a second time for the money and I had to stop and said that I needed a bigger bag as I mentioned before because the items are not even fitting in well. One of the other employees heard me complain and said that's just give him a bigger bag. Once the items were put into the larger bag he said $22.02 and I said I heard you, I have the money in my hand, let me put all the stuff together first. Then we exchanged the money and I left. When I checked the contents of the bag in the car, I noticed that he has short-changed me the fortune cookies. He was so much in a hurry to collect the money that wasn't focusing on taking care of the customer and making sure to give the customer everything that he needs to put in the bag. The food is consistently good but the service has gone downhill a lot. The prices have gone up for the portions they're serving. This is what would kill the restaurant business. If I don't feel that I'm getting good value for when I pay for I don't care how good the food is if the service is horrible, I will not return. Hopefully perhaps management will see this review and do something about it or they're going to lose customers left and right.

Store ran out of box and game family meal on regular single bowl container. I asked if they were the same volume and they said corporate trained to do this when they ran out of boxes. I verified their claim and the container is 20 oz where the box are 24oz. They were giving customers less while using this container. If you got the bowl instead of box, ask for refund to corporate website. Not fair practice.

Honestly, this place is so stingy with their food, I asked the gal if she was able to at least fill up the plate and she literally told me that it’s only one scoop but the scoop wasn’t even full. It was half full. I’m not joking do not go here.

Some Asian lady didn't know how to take my order I had to tell her 7 times she was just telling me the price over and over instead of accommodating my order she was worried about the price like if she were to be paying for my order. She should really take English classes as well as customer service, so far everything local from where I live is just SMH.(shaking my head) with disappointment.

I ordered online at 3:50 and they said my order would be ready at 4:06…… I waited all the way until 4:20 for my food while I watched 10+ guests walk in order and get their food faster than me. The whole point of ordering online is so it’s ready when I get there….. I’m disappointed to say the least, I will never order online again. My food was cold

Pepper chicken was overly greasy and fatty. There was so much oil that the pepper sauce and oil separated leaving piles of clear liquid. Celery was not cooked and imparted a bitter taste to the dish. Never seen the oil thing before in all the panda expresses I've eaten at.

I ordered take out through their app and looked forward to having a free lunch from their rewards program. However, it was far from enjoyable and in fact dangerous what happened next. After getting my lunch and eating, I chewed on something that was rather hard and somewhat painful. Turns out I bit into a piece of metal from the chow mein and fried rice! Needless to say I lost my appetite afterwards for that dish. A form was completed online two days ago to receive a response for this issue, but I still have yet to hear from anyone about this safety hazard. Definitely do not recommend this location for getting Panda Express.

Listen I understand you are trained to only serve so much with each item but honestly this place was so stingy and tight with their food it's ridiculous how much I paid for such little food. Please fire the ones that serve grown adults as if they were kids. And they were so busy talking with eachother and laughing that I wasn't even acknowledged until I stood there for uh min. Not to mention their orange chicken was hard and their beef and broccoli was dry and hardly had any juice. If your food is there for a few hrs it's best to toss it out because it's not edible after awhile. Please stop training your employees to serve very little of your food when you have so much to give. You want your customers to feel important and valued. I'll ask for another server next time.

THIS IS A GHETTO STORE IN A GOOD AREA!!!Some of these people like to waste Customer’s time. Waited because she said a fresh batch of chow mein was being cooked. She started serving the people behind me the stuff when it was ready. Very unprofessional. This place needs to improve. Tried this place again on 10/15/2022 for lunch. Sad 😞 to say the food gave me the shiiits for the day!!!!

Ordered ahead and the app said order would be ready at 11:50 a.m. Arrived at 11:55 and noticed my order wasn't in the pick up area so I stood there waiting for someone to ask me if I was picking up. After about 5 minutes with no acknowledgement, I stood in the regular line and asked about my order. It wasn't prepared yet so the server/manager (Flor) proceeded to make my order. After she completed it, I told her that I was disappointed in the process and she told me she just received the order, which was a lie, since I saw it hanging in the app order area when I arrived. The store wasn't busy and had only 4 customers in it. Flor continued to argue with me after I told her that I am a customer she should listen to my feedback but she refused to take responsibility.

I am extremely disappointed that Panda Express would hire someone with such a lack of hospitality towards their own customers. The manager was extremely rude to us. The food she gave us an issue with was a plate with special instructions to put the honey walnut shrimps on the side. When we arrived to pick up our mobile order, the manager immediately asked us if we were sure about wanting honey walnut shrimp on the side on both of our plates. This wouldn’t be an issue unless she gave us attitude, as I understand if she was just trying to solve a problem but clearly she wasn’t. Confirming the order, she then said that she put the shrimp inside of the plate with the rest of the food, blatantly confirming that she followed the very little and clear instructions. The whole reason we put this instructions is due to ordering this specific plate for our 74 year old grandmother, just arriving back from a long and exhausting trip excited to have some Panda Express, who cannot have it anymore because of cross contamination. Our grandmother has a serious allergy to seafood, the shrimp for our younger child. The worse part is that she then went to go make the plates after telling us that. They weren’t even ready yet but she told us just so she wouldn’t have to follow instructions out of spite!! When she was done the manager handed us our order asking why we couldn’t just put the shrimp on the side ourselves. We do NOT owe her an explanation especially something personal yet she tried to question us just for wanting shrimp on the side. She also put about 4 shrimps in the plate. Which left both my kid was unable to eat a sufficient portion and our grandmother couldn’t have any food at all due to cross contamination. An extra $1.50 for honey nut walnut shrimp would at least leave me expecting more than 4 shrimps. I am surprised Panda Express would allow their la Verne location to be ran by someone with such a lack of respect, kindness, and customer service care. She talked to us with an enormous attitude. I can’t believe she represents Panda Express as a company and the la Verne location. Please do better.

I dont know what is going on with this place. I have been been here many times and all has been good. But the last 2 times I stopped by has me questioning if I'll be backto this location. I think the way they process online orders breaks the flow and I couldn't keep track of my plates. I was there to get 2 plates of food and had no problem ordering the 1st plate. When I gave my order to the gal for my 2nd plate she starts serving something completely different because she started working on an online order in the middle of my order. She did 3 or 4 plates before continuing with my order. In the mean time, my 1st plate (3 item combo) was by the registers. I give her my 2nd order and then my plate starts getting processed. Plates start being moved around, online orders keep coming in and out for food and another plate makes it to the end. I know I was distracted because my panda app needed to be updated. It was bit chaotic at the register because some guys were picking up 3 online orders and the cashier could not find one of the orders after she got her, the 3rd order was found. Finally, I paid for my food and left. When we opened our containers at home.... I was MAD. The 3 item combo was missing the teriyaki chicken so I got 2 item combo. The 2nd plate was all wrong. I got orange chicken which I'm allergic to and some other chicken with green beans. I ordered teriyaki chicken with sesame chicken I had previously had an issue with an order but that time it was resolved quickly because we ate there. I obviously like the food at PE but this is ridiculous.

Which left both my kid was unable to eat a sufficient portion and our grandmother couldn’t have any food at all due to cross contamination. An extra $1.50 for honey nut walnut shrimp would at least leave me expecting more than 4 shrimps. I am surprised Panda Express would allow their la Verne location to be ran by someone with such a lack of respect, kindness, and customer service care. She talked to us with an enormous attitude. I can’t believe she represents Panda Express as a company and the la Verne location. Please do better.

I dont know what is going on with this place. I have been been here many times and all has been good. But the last 2 times I stopped by has me questioning if I'll be backto this location. I think the way they process online orders breaks the flow and I couldn't keep track of my plates. I was there to get 2 plates of food and had no problem ordering the 1st plate. When I gave my order to the gal for my 2nd plate she starts serving something completely different because she started working on an online order in the middle of my order. She did 3 or 4 plates before continuing with my order. In the mean time, my 1st plate (3 item combo) was by the registers. I give her my 2nd order and then my plate starts getting processed. Plates start being moved around, online orders keep coming in and out for food and another plate makes it to the end. I know I was distracted because my panda app needed to be updated. It was bit chaotic at the register because some guys were picking up 3 online orders and the cashier could not find one of the orders after she got her, the 3rd order was found. Finally, I paid for my food and left. When we opened our containers at home.... I was MAD. The 3 item combo was missing the teriyaki chicken so I got 2 item combo. The 2nd plate was all wrong. I got orange chicken which I'm allergic to and some other chicken with green beans. I ordered teriyaki chicken with sesame chicken I had previously had an issue with an order but that time it was resolved quickly because we ate there. I obviously like the food at PE but this is ridiculous.

Another sad victim of portion control most likely from corporate or the franchise owner. The amount of entree I received is pathetic and I considered walking out after being served with 4 small morsels of chicken but I decided to question it and I was responded to with a laugh in my face from the girl serving me and “would you like to order a side”. These types of restaurants are junk now don’t even bother.

Overall i knew what to expect here for food - average american chinese. The problem i had here is not the food rather service - the asian lady manager. The folks at the office wanted it so i went to pickup a large catering order. What ruined it for me was the way the tone was set by this manager - my large order was a bother to her and the team. Like i had the audacity to make a large order. What really pissed me off was when i was handed the box and i went to carry it out, i grabbed some napkins and the manager comes running out from behind the counter and starts to yell and lecture me on how i already had napkins w the packaged forks. Thats one napkin and they come thin and small. The order for 15 we will need some more. As a business owner I get watching cost but this manager goes well past that and ruins the experience and lost all our future orders because of this behavior.

I had an awful experience. I placed an online order using a Dodger promotion, waited 20 minutes, and then was told my Panda Express-issued gift card was declined. The promotion was on the food order, not the gift card. Now I’m out of balance on the gift card and I never received any food. The staff was unhelpful, and nothing was resolved. A complete waste of time and money. Avoid this place at all costs.

Ordered 3 item combos and was charged and paid for 3 item combos but got two item combos when I got home. When you're charging close to $50 for 4 adult meals, you'd better get the order right. Just proves California communism forcing establishment to pay artificially high wages was another Democrat failure.

I asked to see the individual balance of both of my items as she was showing me it brought the price down to $22. So then I asked how did it go from over $30 to $22? I was told, “someone else’s items were wrung up before yours.” Even if that was the case why not delete the entire order off of the screen before starting a new order especially with a whole different customer? I don’t know if I believe it was a mistake or if I was being charged almost $12 extra and that’s sad. You would think a worker would know 30 plus dollars is too large of an amount for a bowl and a plate. Simply, ridiculous.
