The food is absolutely amazing! Chef Craig and the boys back there put out plates that look like art. Martin, Sammy and Lucian do a fantastic job providing a top notch experience. Making sure that you feel special and like you're in Italy. Best Italian food I have ever had hands down. To have something like this in Laguna Beach and the Pacific Ocean within view just on the other side of the street, it's the perfect spot to have a memorable night out. Great for romantic dates, family outings or just to catch up with friends.

The outdoor patio has a stunning view of the sunset and beach. They serve some of the best Italian food in the area, with incredible service. I would highly recommend the Bolognese and the Fettuccine del Chef

Had an incredible dinner tonight. They have some wonderful outdoor dining on the upper parking lot. It felt like we were in a little Italian ristorante on the Italian coast. There food was excellent and the view of the sunset was incredible.

First time and it won’t be the last, so happy my wife and I try this restaurant. It took us back when we visited Florence. Everything we order was prepared and seasoned perfectly. I order my drink name after my daughter and me and they made it to perfection, I call it the Arabella Sprits: Aperol, Prosecco, Limoncillo and Tequila with a slice of Orange. Try it you’ll love it.. The service was top notch and love that the chef walk around the restaurant talking to us. Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes.

The Oceanview outdoor dining experience was so fun at this restaurant. My client chose to come here to celebrate The purchase of his new home. He has been friends with the owner for 30 years he says. I had delicious homemade ravioli from them. So rich and creamy! The bread with oil and balsamic was wonderful as well.

I have been to Rumari several times and each time you can count on consistently great food, service and quality. The restaurant can become rather loud, as the tables are close together and the establishment is cozy. Parking can be difficult during peak hours.

The pasta was absolutely delicious! The seasoning was delicate, and the house-made pasta (Chef's Rotelle) was especially amazing. The staff were also very friendly. It was a place we entered by chance, but it turned out to be a wonderful memory!

We had a great dining experience last night at Rumari. The hostess greeted us with a smile when we walked up and was accommodating to our request to sit outside. Our server Jorge was very pleasant, hospitable, and helpful. We started off with a bruschetta and Rumari salad, as well as their complimentary bread basket, which were all very good. For entrees, we highly recommend the Pollo alla Marsala! The mesh of flavors was perfect! The beef filet Souvlakia was also very good. We ended the night with a Grand Marnier Soufflé and coffee. The liqueur in the gelato was a little stronger for our palette but good nonetheless. If we were staying in Laguna Beach longer, we would definitely come back. But it will have to wait until next year 😌

Dinner at Rumari was absolute wonderful. First we were greeted by Yari and then sat with our waiter Noah who was so attentive to all of our needs. Yari was also fabulous in finding us a table in such a short amount of time. The food was amazing as well, will definitely be returning to try more things off the menu!

The chef rotelle was incredible. The separate flavors of the white cream sauce and the marinara are incredible and the mix makes for such an incredible taste explosion in your mouth. I order that dish every time just as an appetizer to share with the table and then order a separate entree for my meal. The lamb was so tender and flavorful. Everything is so fresh. You can tell it is all homemade.

Was surprised upon our arrival inside the restaurant as they had us follow them outside up a paved road to a rooftop restaurant. It was a unique experience with somewhat nice views of the ocean. I will say that the service was spectacular from an authentic Italian server, possibly Sicilian. Wine suggestion was magnificent but my expectations were high after he was raving on and on about the dishes being the best there is in town. They weren't bad but definitely not something to write home about. I still tipped him very well due to his enthusiasm and positive attitude.

The food was absolutely delicious, the service was attentive, kind, and friendly, but the restaurant was absolutely miserable to be in. It was packed WAY too full. The tables had maybe 2 feet in between them and the acoustics in the room were excruciating. I couldn’t hear the person sitting 6” to my left let alone across the table. It’s such a shame the atmosphere was so awful because it ruined what could have been a great experience.

This place doesn't not accept their own gift cards which is illegal... I have filed with the attourney general, better business bureau and consumer protection agency. Asking for a refund and apology would be nice.
