This Mimi's gave me a very nice experience. Our server was super pleasant and attentive. Both my friend and I had different benedicts, and they were both fantastic. Their coffee was very good as well. There is plenty of parking, and the pricing is very fair for what you receive.
I'm not sure what Mimi's did as of late, but to me, their food used to be OK to good, but the past three doordash orders, the food has been amazing. Like, fine dining, 5 star hotel amazing. Great job, Mimi's. I can't wait to order from y'all, again!
Very clean establishment, very courteous staff, and absolutely love this place now. I haven't even been to a Mimi's in years. FERNANDA is an absolute pleasure to have as a waitress, attentive and very personable. The greater/seater was very fast and greeted us with a nice smile. The food is absolutely delicious. I had the rosemary steak sandwich, tender yet thoroughly cooked. The breakfast burrito was awesome, the meat melted in my mouth. And the banana crepes were absolutely mmmm... my favorite saying is " I'm about to have a diabetic coma". Funny not funny. Caramel drizzled over and around, whipped cream. Just yummmmm
The staff is extremely friendly and the muffins are delicious. Food is hot, comes out quick, and tasted really good.
David was an awesome waiter and he was super attentive to bringing everything we needed and more coffee refills! Over all the waiters and waitresses are very attentive. They are always so kind and they give 5 star service each and every time. I have been to other mimi’s cafe but this one by far is my favorite. I would go out of my way to drive to this location.
Great food at a reasonable price. Staff was good but slightly slow. Didn't bring silverware till after food.
Great experience as usual at this location, arath was our waiter and was very attentive and adjusted to our needs. The food was great. We enjoyed the seasonal options and kids menu.
I used to come here often but haven't been here for years since recently for a birthday lunch. I love how you can order breakfast during lunch hours. Food quality is great and tasted great. Their Eggs Benedict is one of the best around. Service was great. They got all our orders right and the food came out in a timely matter. The only issue we had was that their seasonal pineapple muffin was out and had to order an alternative which I can understand due to its popularity. Since this is my 1st time since the pandemic and inflation, I do want to point out the price increased only a little but they did lower the proportions. Place seems to be kept clean. It's still good overall and I still highly recommend this location.
I was traveling in the area and stopped by Mimis , the food is delicious and the service is nice. Unfortunately I left my wallet at the cafe and later after calling them they kindly agreed to ship the wallet on their own expense which was beyond what I expected. The manager was really kind and respectful during our conversation. I have nothing but a good memory left from this place!
Food was delicious. The service was outstanding. It was a little sad to see how empty the restaurant was on a Thursday evening at dinner time. The quality of the food is always good!
I come here with my family all the time. The food and service is the same everytime across the board. Thoughtful, delightful and professional people really bring the eating experience together. They had a fantastic Thanksgiving bundle which provided a great experience because we were able to bond over conversation rather than the hassle of cooking. Also, watching the employees wheel out the goods for the elders was quite a sight too see. Thank you Mimi's Irvine!
Got the 3 course meal and added an appetizer. The tomato soup was delicious. The spinach artichoke dip was amazing. The Parmesan crusted chicken was cooked to perfection and the dessert was yummy. The service was great. Best experience.
Oh, man! I only bought a muffin here for myself, but it was to die for! My daughter loved her steak meal. The staff was super kind and I hope to go back there someday. With the money.
Our Thanksgiving plans changed and we decided last minute to take our party of 8 over to Mimi's. Best decision ever! The food was phenomenal, the wait was manageable, our server was fantastic, and the manager (Andrew) went above and beyond to make our visit feel like we had stepped into a friend's home. Truly a great experience.
Mimi’s Cafe has been around for years, but more locations are closing. Mimi’s is a great go to place to meet up with your friends. The food and service are good too.
Big menu to choose from with lots of healthy options. The seating area is spacious with classic deco. Service is good and food is served fast. Great options for kids with kid menus. Food is generally more fine than Denny's or IHOP.
I love this place! My first experience here wasn't so good, told the waiter I had a tree nut allergy. I had ordered a muffin (I didn't know there was nuts in it) and got a bad allergic reaction. Told management and they gave my family and I free breakfast which was very nice! I have gone a few times after and they have been very good with my tree nut allergy. Great staff. Amazing food. Great coffee.
The family and I recently ate here and fairly certain it was this location. Good food and service, just wasn’t whole lot of customers at the time but think it was due to fact we were there in between lunch and dinner time. My kid never had lava cake before and he loved it. I had the T Bone steak.
Very Comfy place, looks very nice, service is great, people are very gentyle and the breakfast are amazing, love this place, definitely I would recommend it
Definitely enjoyed our breakfast today! It was fresh and was just what we needed this morning. We ordered French toast with strawberries and blueberries. As well as eggs Benedict with Salmon. My husband and I shared and it was perfect. The potatoes with the eggs had tons of flavor which we love! Suhey our server was amazing! Very attentive! We will definitely be back to see her again! Thank you so much!!
Our server was extremely kind, helpful, and personable. And the food was really well made. We ate a classic Eggs Benedict, and the hollandaise sauce was light and flavorful. Hands down one of the best Eggs Bennie I have enjoyed in a long time, as in years!!
The staff greated us with bigs smiles & sat us down. I ordered the onion soup with the cheese, it was just as I had imagined it would be, spectacular. I also ordered a burger that was very tasty. Service was prompt & efficient. I recommend Mimi's highly.
We went for Thanksgiving and our waiter was amazing! The food was great! Loved it!
Staff was amazing, and the ambiance is cozy and welcoming, with a charming French-inspired vibe that makes it perfect for brunch or a casual lunch. The service was friendly and attentive, even during a busy time, which made the visit even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place with hearty meals, tasty baked goods, and a relaxed setting, Mimi’s Cafe is definitely worth checking out.
This was my first time at Mimi's Cafe. My mom & I will definitely be returning.
Our server Suhey was great! She was quick in taking our order and we didn’t have to wait for our food long, came out quick. Great customer service and she’s very friendly.
Stopped in for breakfast, staff was friendly and courteous, the service was quick and restaurant clean and well maintained. Ordered their bacon and eggs with home potatoes. It was pretty good and I was totally full. Fair price good sized portions.
Everything about this place is perfect! The staff are very professional, and the food quality is outstanding.
Literally, I have Mimi’s Café across from my home and go there very often—lunch, breakfast, and dinner are excellent! Quick service, and for a big group, they will charge individually. I love that when I go to celebrate someone and we are a big group.
Great location. Clean and expedient service. The food looks just like the pictures in the menu. Food served nice & hot. Would come again. Thank you Suhey for the service. So nice, kind, and attentive
We had our breakfast here quickly, and the food was amazing! We ordered and split a Savory Breakfast Bowl (quinoa/brown rice, garlic sautéed spinach, 2 poached eggs, and sliced avocado) and a Kids Egg and Bacon. Our server was kind and efficient, and our overall experience was great! Must say though, definitely try the Savory Breakfast Bowl. It was soooo good 🌟
Fantastic place for brunch. Large portions, fingerlicking delicious food and great service. They only serve French roast coffee however and I wished they had other varieties but I liked the latte anyway.. I ordered a Santa Fe omelette which was a real treat while my friend ordered their signature pain perdu or stuffed French toast.. it was heavenly! The service was great too so all in all a great place to dine at Irvine.
Went here this morning for the Easter Sunday Brunch. One menu for brunch, and a $25 3 dish dinner for the late afternoon and evening crowd. I had the Brioche French Toast, as did my Aunt. My cousin had the Santa Fe Omelet. We each had a Mimosa. My aunt and I enjoyed our meals while my cousin commented that the omelet was not "spicy" enough. The tab for the 3 of us with tax, and before tip was just under $70. Service was good, fast and efficient.
Mimi's has always been my favorite place. The area we live in closed the restaurant few years back. We go to Irvine for our fix, especially in the fall. Pumpkin muffins are the best as is all the rest of their baked goods.
We ordered a Thanksgiving turkey dinner plate to go. It was surprisingly extremely yummy. One dinner was enough for two people. The turkey with gravy is absolutely perfect. The turkey is not dry. It’s moist and really delicious. Sweet potatoes, delicious green bean casserole, and mashed potatoes and gravy. The pumpkin pie 🥧 was the best part. I wonder if they sell pumpkin pie all year round? Delicious!!! 🤤
Mimi’s Café is such a cozy and welcoming place! The food is always fresh and comforting — I loved the French onion soup and their muffins are a must-try. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere feels warm and homestyle. Perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast or lunch with family and friends!
Mimi’s Café is the perfect mix of cozy and classy. The menu has a little something for everyone—from hearty breakfasts to fresh salads and comforting entrees. The food is always flavorful and served in generous portions, and their baked goods are a must-try (don’t sleep on the muffins!). The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it great for family meals, brunch with friends, or even a casual date. The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes every visit feel special. Definitely a go-to spot when you want good food in a relaxed setting!
Mimi’s Cafe is a great spot for a relaxed meal with family or friends. The menu has plenty of choices—from hearty breakfasts to classic comfort food for lunch and dinner. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. Don’t miss their muffins and fresh-baked bread—they’re a highlight!
Indulge in a delightful brunch experience at this charming spot in OC! What truly sets this place apart, however, is the friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every guest. Whether you're catching up with friends over bottomless mimosas or enjoying a leisurely meal with family, you can count on attentive service and a friendly smile at every turn. For a brunch spot that combines mouthwatering food with a welcoming vibe, look no further—this place is a must-visit in OC!
Love this place - great food & excellent service. Ask for Carlos or Gabriel - best servers there! Everyone there is always helpful and very nice. Big fan of their bran muffin, their breakfast menu and their French Quarter Burger ´s amazing! My husband talked me into it - it’s a favorite!
This place is amazing. Ever since me and my family moved here 6 years ago, we’ve gone here almost every week. We’ve gotten to know some servers very well, but no names can be said. Today was our return after a pretty long time, and ive gotta say, nothings changed for the worse. The staff are nice as usual, the food is delicious, and the tables are squeaky clean. Love this place! (Also got served by our favorite waiter, Jose!!) Love this place!!
Do you want a cute brunch spot? Well this is the most by the book cute brunch spots my dudes. Like if you haven’t gone here imma assume you didn’t meet the reading goals in elementary school bc really that’s how most folks are introduced to this place. It’s either young kids with them reading rewards or geriatric folks enjoying a meal out. Sometimes it’s a cute combo of the two with the grandkid and the grandparent at the same table. Also solid spot for Mother’s Day stuff ya feel. So mosey on down and enjoy that French toast with that orange filling!
I love coming to Mimi’s café. They have delicious food here. I ordered the pot roast. We also had an appetizer of spinach artichoke dip. I also had the French onion soup. My children each ordered kids meals with a chocolate pudding dirt cup. We also split the chocolate lava cake for dessert. It was all delicious! I highly recommend coming here.
Friend and I went for breakfast on a Sunday morning in December. We got there at 9am and were seated at a booth immediately. It was rainy and cold outside, so the waitress was kind enough to ask if we would like hot water. We both had hot chocolate, which was pretty good. I had the Asian Chicken salad, and loved it. Very delicious, the wontons were pretty crisp, and the dressing also was tasty. Service was quick and friendly. Tips and taxes included came to just under 50$ total for the two of us. Friend had the Pain Perdu with mixed berries and liked it too.

Food here is delicious, however I order the EXACT same item EVERY time and it’s a different price each time which I find odd. Only real objection is that it’s a bit pricey but most places in the OC are.
Split a turkey, pesto, tomatoe, avacado, bacon on Chibata😋 so delicious with French onion soup. Plenty of food
I like this place and go there once every few weeks on my way to work. The quality of food is good in general. However, some of the items are different from the classic and common food I know. I like being innovative , but it should be as an additional option beside the original recipe or with a different name.
Haven’t been to this location in years. Honestly thought they closed down. Came here on a Saturday for a late breakfast/early lunch. They were a little busy but the food came out in a timely manner. I ordered the chicken pot pie. It was very fresh but could’ve used a little salt. I would recommend this location for a quick and casual meal.
It's been a great place to have breakfast on weekends, with good quality food and fantastic European-style design. Service didn't align with their business, looked to me like not well-trained staff, almost one mistake every time we go there, too frequent checking on or being away for a long time.
Good food and friendly service. The menu is not imaginative but plain, solid and tasty food.
Service left a lot to be desired at the Torrance location. Food celebrate was slow, and drinks never refilled. No one checked that our orders were correct (they weren't, but it was not that big a deal). When I finally flagged down the server to take my money, she came back with change but no bill. I had to ask for it (again after a lengthy wait), and she had rounded the change up to her benefit, not giving exact change. I am a very generous tipper, but it should be my decision.
The service was excellent. 3 people asked us several times if we needed anything. They were very attentive and very nice. We did not enjoy sitting next to the Asian family speaking another language the whole time!! It was very hard to hear our own conversation and to relax with their constant what sounds like babbling. They spoke english because they spoke it to the waiter and waitress. People from other countries should speak english if they are able while in public and their own language at home in private. It's disrespectful to Americans who are from here and want to enjoy there time eating and relaxing. I think they do it on purpose. They kept staring at us and we didn't know what they were saying while laughing. It's very uncomfortable not knowing what they are saying. We should have asked to move which is wrong living in our own country.
I have been at this place multiple times. I like their food and drinks (lavender cocktail is highly recommended) but every time I visit this place no matter how busy they are they always have some problems with service. For example, last time they brought french fries for my kid instead of fruit bowl and I had to wait to water refill and extra napkins forever. So they got very little tip!
Mimi's Benedict verdict: pretty egg-cellent! Non-traditional ham, but tasty. Hollandaise sauce? A bit of a, well, let's just say 'yolk'-ing stinginess. Across the street, Broken Yolk can't even boil an egg. So, Mimi's wins by default! Friendly staff, quick service, and a clean joint. Bacon, eggs, and potatoes: all solid. Fair price, generous portions. Bottomless mimosas? Yes, please! The downside is the dinner shift isn’t that good.
Been coming here on and off through out the years. The food and services were good for the most part. Casual breakfast or a relaxed lunch, Mimi's cafe is the place to consider. \nWe came here the d…
I wouldn't recommend trying this location during weekend brunch times. We were seated at a table that hadn't been fully cleared (previous occupants check was still on the table). It was cleared, and we ordered pretty quickly, but then we forgotten about by the waiter. No water refills during the entire meal. We waited 20 minutes trying to catch his attention to pay the check before finally being able to grab another server.
We went into it. Very excited based on the reviews. The baked goods we had were awesome. The croissant was delicious. Everything else we ate was pretty bland. We had breakfast and I don't think the eggs or potatoes had seen even a splash of salt. The turkey sausage was flavorless. We love breakfast and really wanted this place to be great but outside of their bakery I wouldn't eat their food.
This is only my first visit. I'll update my review on my the second or third visit. Meaning I liked it enough that I'm willing to go back. It's hard to really judge accurately with just one single visit. The hostess and the server were super nice and the atmosphere was cool. I ordered a burger. I can't remember what it's called, but I ordered the first one under the burger section on the menu. And it was good but it would have been much better if the bread had more density to it. It was on toasted sourdough, I think, with cheese on the outside of the bread. The bread was just very weak and sort of fell apart quickly. I really hate soggy bread. Everything else about it was great though. The cheese-crusted grilled sourdough is great idea and that would be awesome if the bread had more density. But you know, that's just my opinion. 🙂
It's been quite some time since we've eaten here. The food was fine but not as good as remembered. Service was a tad slow even though the restaurant appeared to not be busy.
I have liked Mimi's over the years, but I'm only giving them 3 stars due to a recent experience there. The server was nice but a little too timely. My mom and I were barely seated when he came to our table to take order. We realized they close at 9 and we got there 7:45pm. This was a Friday eve. Remind me not to go there on a Friday eve again! Or even much in the evening. It really is more of a brunch/lunch place. The server was polite but came to table too soon. Then when we ordered, we got food and bill but he wanted bill right away even though he said take all the time you need. Also, he was at some post near us and felt like he was looking over us, monitoring us so my mom and I didn't even feel we had much privacy to talk. I gave a good tip, but kind of wish I hadn't...looking back. I think there weren't many people in restaurant, so the guys there wanted to get off early from work or something and disappointed we came in. No idea...It was uncomfortable and if they want people to leave so much, they need to put a sign out in front. We wouldn't have stayed past closing time which was 9pm but this didn't seem gotten or trusted by server and maybe his restaurant crew. Frustrating! I will avoid evenings or maybe go on other side of restaurant or outside where not monitored as much. Just let people be a bit. If you're closing we're not going to leave later than 9! Seems like employees wanted to be out earlier than 9 but I have no idea=didn't make the dinner pleasant!
This place is a nice place for brunch. Overall: I did not see much of the “French” it claims in the food or place, but if you consider it closer to an American diner in an old house, it is ok. The place itself was clean and nice on a busy Saturday morning but we arrived early. Food: The food was good, but nothing that wowed me, and the meals were heavy on the salt in my opinion. The portions were big and hearty and they had a nice variety of American-like breakfast foods. French brunch classics like croque madame and croque monseiur were missing the menu, and they seemed to like enlgish muffins a lot, and their menu also offered corned beef, steak and potatoes, and chicken and waffles. The freshly made croissant was very good and was a nice surprise! I’d definitely would recommend trying! Service: The service was nice and our server was excellent.
I had the three course meal with the soup, chicken cordon blue spinach, potatoes, and cake. Everything else was good except the chicken cordon blue. It taste like crunchy paper. It would be nice if the chicken cordon blue was actually freshly prepared because eating frozen food at a sit down restaurant is crazy! I assume the fried chicken is frozen too so i would stay away from the chicken and waffles. I was extremely disappointed for what I paid for. The service was good though.
I was there on a weekday over lunch. The food was okay, but service a little slow. The noise level was high. Evenso, I would likely return but without my (103 yr old) elderly mother. They also looked to have a well stocked full bar of which you can belly up to.
Wanted a nice breakfast, instead we got a mediocre, expensive, cold one. Food was hot, but put on cold plates, like COLD. Yes, we could have returned the food, but we had already waited quite awhile, so we just ate fast. Cappuccino cup had something on the rim I flicked off and there was paper stuck to my butter knife. Restaurant felt dirty and our Server was checked out. Used to be a favorite for breakfast, not any more.
Took my grandkids to have breakfast here. Their coloring paper for kids was so messed up that you cannot see what was printed on the paper. A sign of their quality control. Then, the eggs on top of my crab cake Benedict were really overcooked, and the avocado I ordered never came. I have been to this restaurant before because it was close to my house. It was average before, but pretty unpleasant this morning.
My partner and I went to Mimi's a couple of days back in the evening for a late lunch. I have wanted to try this place for years now. I drive across this location regularly. Ambience was fine. Waitress was friendly and attentive. They had a very extensive menu. After going through all the options, we decided to order the half chicken plate and Mimi's meat loaf. Both were kinda disappointing. Meat loaf was salty (maybe because of the gravy) and the chicken was dry. We liked the mashed potatoes. The French onion soup was the saving grace. I don't think we will go back. In hindsight, maybe we should have tried the all day breakfast items - Looked good on the menu...
This was our first Mimis experience. We went for dinner on a Tuesday. The food was very mediocre. The best thing we had was the lava cake. For the price, this was not worth it.
Over priced and poor quality food. We started with the trio appetizer. The chicken strips were not only dry, hard to chew, but flavorless. Frozen Tyson chicken strips taste better than that. The jambalaya pasta tasted no better than a frozen meal. The butter toffee cake was a joke. It is basically a tiny little pound cake with caramel sauce that taste like it comes from the dollar store. Then it is served with ice cream, but not worth $13 by any means. We have always loved Mimi’s Café and were thrilled to come back to it while on vacation. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment to find that the quality of their food has dropped dramatically, and the prices have only increased. Perhaps breakfast is better but we will not be returning. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the atmosphere was clean and the service was fine.
Came here craving hot chocolate, and a dessert. I hoped they’d have pie on the menu, but the only thing that stood out was the bread pudding. The hot chocolate came. It tasted good, but wasn’t very hot. It had plenty of whipped cream too. The bread pudding came. It didn’t have much of a dollop of whipped cream. It tasted too much like bread with raisins… very little custard to bind it all together. It too could have been served warmer. I am a little disappointed in the food and beverage. Not at all like the times I’ve come to this location of Mimi’s. I’m in town for four more days, and doubt I’ll return here before leaving town.

Awful. Food and service sucked. Don't bother going in... there are far better options. Not the Mimis of 35 years ago.

Didn't think avocado toast was something you could mess up was so bad i couldn't eat it. Also husband ordered a better cut of meet with his meal and they sent out a cheap one. Staff wasn't trained at all... no fault to them but..
Service was Great, but the food wasn’t what I remembered. All the food was cold(specially the French fries), French onion soup tasted like it came out of a can. And the French Dip sandwich (for 16.00) tasted like it came out of the microwave. I get it if it was busy but it was Moderate. You guys need to Step it up! Or your restaurant will be like the Costa Mesa one is CLOSED. Mark
Very rude staff. I wanted to stop here on my way to airport so I called in and ordered ahead so I save some time and even mentioned the same when I called in. When I went in to say I had ordered ahead and where can we sit, the staff was so rude and told us to sit in the event space area coz this side was for customers who actually sit in and order and not for to go. He even gossiped to other people and they were pointing and laughing at us. Sorry for no tip but after the finger pointing and laughing my holiday spirit was ruined.
They are so unprofessional And rude I order the same item for 2 DIFFERENT addresses And they sent the two separate order to one address (???!) When I called to tell her the mistake she just answer like yea ok I don’t care you got you food bye And that was so disgusting ILL NEVER ORDER FOR MY STAFF FOOD FROM THAT HORRIBLE PLACE bad communication and so bad costumer service.
I have ordered delivery. The food was tasteless, the French dip was like dishwater. The onion soup was tasteless!, the worst I ever had. I would appreciate a refund for an unedible meal
tl;dr: the service quality isn't what it used to be, and the food has frankly become unworthy of my time and money. Look elsewhere, there's plenty of competition. I've never been more impressed with how quickly a restaurant went from being one of my favorite places for dinner to a place where I would never want to go back to. Previously we would visit 3-4 times a month when I'm in the area not only because we would get buy-1-get-1-free coupons via email, but because the food quality was so great. All of that changed on my most recent visit. I didn't think eating at a restaurant could make me feel so sad but this Mimi's managed to with flying colors. The Liver and Onions was served with onions that hardly caramelized and dry bacon. The pork chops looked just as dry, the spinach was soaked in oil/butter, and the potatoes gratin was cake-like in texture. I'm usually not this critical, but considering that we've ordered all of these before and know how good they're supposed to be it's incredibly disappointing that this is what we were served. Food aside, the service was fine but not outstanding as, again we would expect it to be being such frequent customers. And maybe that's my problem. The last time we visited this Mimi's I was on spring vacation from University about 2 months ago. Within that time, I am convinced that there was a change management. Another possible explanation is a chef-in-training, miscommunication in staff, or something I haven't thought of. Honestly, I'm just making excuses for them at this point because I really liked the place. But unfortunately, not even another coupon would bring me back for at least another few months and that would really only be to see if they've gotten things sorted again; at which time I will gladly revise my review. But until then if you're in the mood for something on their menu, I would direct you to a restaurant called Citrus: very similar menu, much better taste... especially right now.
Not sure to call this bad luck, or something else. Went here with my wife and a friend and a few minor things started to appear. - Glasses of water were clearly not cleaned properly - Dishes has dried food on them - Heinz Ketchup were either too old or not Heinz ketchup - My friends original order was wrong Given the staff were quick to correct things, but the part that got me was when I ate the second half of my eggs Benedict and the egg had clearly spoiled. At that point I got the manager and to her credit, super apologetic and refunded our meal. We ended up going around the corner to get a drink to help me to flush out the taste of the food. I won’t be coming back here.
20260131 lunch. Ordered two salads. The greens are in poor condition. Very little chicken in the salad too. I should not ate it. Diarrhea afterwards😗
I ordered the Turkish sandwich with pesto sauce from Mini’s Café, but it didn’t have any pesto at all. There was just a little bit of avocado, and the potatoes tasted really old. I was disappointed with the quality. 😡😡😡
I was so excited to enjoy Mimi’s in California because I enjoyed it when it was in Orlando. Man, I should have skipped it and I am truly sad it will be my last memory of going to Mimis. We had to send the food back - something I’ve never done in my life.. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce served was split and clumpy. The home fries were not edible because they were fried in old rancid oil. The place was dirty. We tried to order the once amazing blueberry muffins and my blueberry muffin had zero blueberries in the bottom. How in the heck is there not one blueberry in the bottom of the muffin? We paid and left as soon as possible. I am sad as this restaurant had long waits and the best food long long ago. I’ve got to say our server was very pleasant and attentive. We saw someone trying to speak with the manager but the manager (female) was not interested and looked so uninterested in everything. Another server was informing the manager of some information regarding a phone call and it was meant with disinterest. There is a real problem in leadership here. There is such a vibrant restaurant culture in Irvine - skip it. The only people eating here lost taste buds long ago. It may be the last meal if not careful.
