Server OBI1 is the best! He made our dinner experience so memorable! Highly recommend and ask for OB1!!
Authentic hibachi dining near Disney Springs, Orlando. Awesome food, service and environment! Many selections for food combinations with drinks varied and excellent location with parking free!
Gary was AMAZING!!! His dad jokes were completely horrible and had our entire table cracking with laughter. 🤣 He did an amazing job catering to the different diet preferences while cooking and entertaining our table. Not our first time at Hibachi, but our first time at this location and everything was clean, the atmosphere was friendly, the food and cocktails were 10/10!
Food was great. Service was phenomenal. Juan was our server and he was EVERYWHERE making it happen. Rob was our chef and was very kind and entertaining. The management staff and host staff were very accommodating. The bartenders went above and beyond. They took our photo while we were waiting for a table and gave us a printed one in a frame only moments later. It was a great birthday celebration!
Macho was an amazing chef! He made our experience so fun and was so great with the kiddos! He made us laugh and the food was perfection!
Amazing food and experience! Alliyah and Bruce did an amazing job!!
Obie Juan he was so sweet to me. He also talked up one of the promos and made it sound so good I got it. He got me extras and helped me make my dinner alone wonderful He checked on me several times. Never made me feel like he was bothering me. However met my needs. He one of the best servers I have had in months.
We had an amazing dinner at Benihana Orlando inside the Hilton at Disney Springs! Our chef put on a great show — fun, friendly, and skilled. We ordered the Hibachi Shrimp and Hibachi Chicken, swapped the soup for double salads, and everything was fantastic. Fresh ingredients, perfect seasoning, and fast service. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Disney Springs looking for great food and atmosphere.
Ana was incredibly impressive — she memorized nine detailed orders flawlessly and repeated each one back word for word without writing anything down. Her focus, accuracy, and professionalism truly stood out! She also had a sense of urgency‼️ We needed to capture the moment🫶🏼 Rafael was our cook, and he was so much fun and cooked our food so good 😊
First time in a Benihana and loved it. The service was fast , the hostess helped us pick from the menus and our chef displayed an amazing show while preparing our food. Highly recommend

Steve and Liz were absolutely the best. We had the best dining experience. This cook Steve is so great and his performance along with cooking skills are perfection and and entertaining. Liz was a very attentive and fun server as well. This was the best dining experience ever. The food was delicious too. As a Hindu, I need my food (chicken) to be not touching beef and they were able to accommodate and still we were able to enjoy Hibachi. This restaurant was very clean and the quality and quantity of food was excellent. The truffle butter is worth the upgrade.
We came in with a large party and the staff and management were so accommodating! We could not fit at one table so they spread us out between two tables to make our experience incredible! The food and service was insane good! I've been to lots of Benihana's before but this one was definitely my #1 experience! Five Star!!!
Amazing experience! Great staff, great food, and a fun atmosphere. We were there celebrating a birthday and everything was perfect from start to finish. The chefs were entertaining, the service was on point, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend for birthdays or special occasions!
Last night we had dinner here. I understand that they didn’t have enough chefs for the amount of reservations that they had. That was beyond the restaurants control. I find it sad that so many people have come on here to bash this restaurant on New Year’s week. One person even went so far as to complain about the service another table was getting. We actually invited the manager over to our table to complement him on how well he was doing. I’m sure it was a very difficult night for him and I think he acted in a manner in which any restaurant would be proud. At one point, I thought that one of the men that was complaining was going to punch him. His wife had to actually hold him back. This much hate because dinner, the night before New Year’s Eve in Orlando, Florida was late. There’s a lot worse things that could happen in this world and having to wait a little bit longer than you expect for dinner. Our dinner was worth the weight and we had a lot of fun. Thank you for the great experience
On one of the busiest nights of the year, the staff at Benihana Lake Buena Vista came through. The chef Justin did an excellent job on the rice, meat and seafood. It was all perfectly seasoned and on point. Our server Santiago was gracious and made sure everyone at the table had everything they needed. The manager Daryl was personable and friendly. He stopped by and made sure everything was perfect.

Our waiter Liz was amazing an full of energy she also was every informational an patient… and let’s not forget the greatest chef in the building “CHEF JAY” he was full of fun and such a contagious smile.. the food was cooked to perfection that alone made our day we came to celebrate my sons 11th birthday an the two of them made it enjoyable for my kid an we wanted to let you all know how amazing the duo did. All in all every rate was 10/10 I will be back
Great experience at Benihana. Definitely make a reservation. Our chef, Steve, was fantastic: funny, friendly, and very engaging. The food was pretty good and they accomodated the vegan in our party. but the real highlight was Steve’s personality and his card trick, which totally stole the show. A fun, classic Benihana experience overall. My only issue was the amount of smoke and greese in the air. We all left smelling like onions! 😆

First time here. Its hot as hell in that dining room. Our chef Mateo I think his name was was great. He was so funny and entertaining. The food was delicious, better than any other hibachi I had.
The food was ok, but for the price there are much better hibachi style places. We tried this spot based on reputation, but would have stuck with Kobe or other local spots first having now tried them. I had the chicken and filet. The chicken was average. The filet was good.
We love eating at Benihana’s. We make it a point to stop in every time we travel to Orlando. This time we weren’t so happy. Our chef, Justin, was less than enthusiastic. It seemed as if he didn’t really want to be there. He barely spoke. A customer switched from steamed rice to fried rice at the last minute after he had already started cooking ours. All he did was add rice to the grill which though off the ratio of the rest of the ingredients so it didn’t taste as good as it usually does. Nothing was seasoned properly. My husband ordered his steak well done and he tried to take it off the grill still bleeding. The shrimp for the entire table hit the grill for seconds before being put on our plates. Nobody ate any of the shrimp. We were completely disappointed this trip. Guess we will have to go back to going to the location on International Dr.
Special for $39 (×2) But I only recommend you visit with a reservation. Their seating and service without a reservation for a chef experience was the worst I've experienced. Cold food. Slow service. No managerial oversight. Overworked staff placed in a difficult situation. Multiple patrons walked out. Others who said never again.
Disappointing. I have never been to a Benihana before and if this is what they're like, I'm not keen on trying another one. Everything seemed disorganized and chaotic. The kitchen was backed up and service was slow. The party next to me was debating on which one of them was going to express their concerns to the manager and the party on the other side of me left before ordering due to the wait. My beverage was empty for twenty minutes before it got refilled. My entree came out first but with no rice. The rice - which was so hard it was inedible - came out right as I was finishing my entree. My soup came after my meal and my salad never did arrived. The entree itself arrived with part of it on the plate and much of it wrapped in aluminum foil and Saran wrap like leftovers. The presentation was sad. It tasted okay, besides the rice. The soup, which ended up being my dessert rather than my appetizer, was pretty good. Honestly, it felt like the staff hadn't worked at a restaurant before. This was the kind of experience I would expect from a small town Chinese restaurant charging $9.99 for an entree, but with meals costing $40 - $60 each, I didn't get my money's worth.

We made a reservation six weeks in advance for a party of 12 at the Hilton Benihana. We live in St. Petersburg and stay at this Hilton 12–14 times a year, so this is not a one-off visit for us. Unfortunately, this has become a pattern. The last half dozen times we’ve dined here with a reservation, we’ve ended up eating at the bar instead of being seated. This time was far worse. Despite the six-week notice and a large party reservation, we were told upon arrival that the wait would be 1.5 to 2 hours, reservation or not. The hostess was openly snarky and stated they were behind due to “all the walk-ins,” which begs the question: what is the point of a reservation if walk-ins are prioritized? We had a 6-year-old with us and several people with early morning flights, so waiting hours was not realistic. Thankfully, the bartender Jonathan actually listened and showed genuine concern. He said he would get the manager. The manager (wearing an orange tie) told us the issue was “corporate,” claiming they have no control over bookings or reservations. That explanation is unacceptable to hear as a customer who planned far in advance and stays at this property regularly. After pushing for a solution, Jonathan stepped up and got our entire party seated, and we finally placed our order at 9:29 PM—long after we should have been eating. After reading Yelp reviews while sitting there, it’s clear this is a known and ongoing issue, not an isolated incident. Anyone considering dining here—especially for a group or special occasion—should be aware: a reservation means very little at this location, and you may still be left waiting while walk-ins are seated. The only bright spot was Jonathan at the bar, who showed professionalism and customer care that management clearly lacks.
If you plan to eat here make sure to set aside 2-3 hours. We had a reservation for 7:15pm and didn't get seated until an HOUR after our reservation and still had to wait ANOTHER hour for the chef to come and cook our food. HOWEVER, Chef Macho was AMAZING! Honestly the highlight of the night he made the experience so much more enjoyable and the food was delicious. They just need to do better for there reservations and seating
Horrible. Dirty. Slow. Honestly would give 0 stars if I could. It has been years since I’ve been to Benihana and I was excited to go to one again. Well this location is horrible and disgusting. First off we had reservations made prior and it still took 10 minutes past our reservation time to be sat. Then they sat us at the hibachi table when we put the bar/ lounge seating selection for our reservation…..Now after being moved to the bar/ lounge area the whole area was dirty and not a vibe. The staff was super slow and even forgot our drinks we ordered. Now after 1.5 hours of WAITING for 1 entree and 1 side of rice!!! we finally get our food….not only does it look distasteful but there was hair in it. At this point my partner and I are annoyed, hungry, tired, and super disappointed in what was supposed to be a high class popular hibachi restaurant. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!!! This place gives Benihana a horrible reputation.
This is, without question, the worst service I’ve experienced in Orlando in the past 10 years. I waited 25 minutes for my takeout order. When I approached the front desk and mentioned that I had been told to pick it up at 6:30 PM, the receptionist — without a single apology — snapped back that her system showed 6:50 PM and told me, in a commanding tone: “Sit and wait!” There were only three tables occupied in the entire dining area. Meanwhile, I watched the cooks step outside to smoke one after another, waving a huge red lighter, joking around loudly with the hostess right in front of customers. Zero respect, zero management, zero professionalism. An absolutely unacceptable experience. A complete failure of customer service.

I never write reviews and I feel compelled to do so for this. The best part of the evening was the manager of the valet parking, Brendan or Brandon(?). He was such a sweetheart. Other than that, this place is highly overpriced for what you get. Both my daughter and I left just as hungry as we came in. For $141 I expect to be somewhat satisfied/full and not leave hungry. Between the two of us we seriously got 16 shrimp(your meal comes with 3 shrimp each and I paid extra for 10 small shrimp of which I gave to my daughter), a thin slice of zucchini and less than 4oz of steak total. From forgetting our rice-which is half the meal to trying to charge me for a drink that I didn’t order, I can say that I will never go back to this or any Benihana location except to see Brendan 😁.
Absolutely OVERPRICED! Not worth it at all. The staff was the nicest part of the experience. Food was mediocre at best, restaurant was messy. Plastic bowls and spoons for soup. $100.00 for a lobster tail. $10.00 for a bottle of water. This isn’t Capital Grille, this isn’t Bull & Bear, it’s not Eddy Vs. They absolutely take advantage of tourists who don’t know any better. If it wasn’t attached to the Hilton, this place wouldn’t exist. Paid $350.00 for my wife and I before tip, i’ll never return again. I’ll spend more somewhere else.
Ordered at 5:34. At 6:50, still didn’t have a chef (teppan table). Asked our waitress to check and see how much longer it might be. 10 minutes later hadn’t heard from her. Found the manager, advised we ordered an hour and a half ago, didn’t have a chef, and that were were leaving but wanted to know if we owed anything for the salad and soup we ate. No apology. Just asked if we had ordered alcohol. Terrible experience.
This was one of the most disturbing dining experiences I’ve had, especially for a brand like Benihana and a location attached to a major hotel. The restaurant felt neglected and unclean. Our table was clearly dirty when we were seated, and the general condition of the dining area gave the impression that proper cleaning was not being prioritized. What truly crossed the line was seeing a roach on the carpet and another near the hibachi table. That is not something any guest should ever encounter in a restaurant. Equally concerning was the lack of visible leadership. Several managers were present on the floor, yet no one checked on tables, acknowledged delays, or addressed the obvious issues. Instead, the focus seemed to be entirely on turning tables and seating more guests, rather than maintaining cleanliness or guest experience. The wait time for a chef was excessively long, with no communication or explanation. When the food was finally prepared, it was bland and underwhelming, which only added to the disappointment given the delays and conditions. Overall, this location appears to be poorly managed and in need of serious attention. Between the sanitation concerns, inattentive management, and low food quality, this experience fell far below acceptable standards. I would strongly recommend caution before dining here and hope leadership takes these issues seriously.
They tell you you get a free appetizer instantly when you sign up for rewards, but that's a lie. The service is not good, they didn't seem to want to be at work and it showed. They seemed rushed and angry. The chef was nice but that's about it. The hibachi doesn't even come with fried rice. (Or noodles - you get steamed rice.) WAY overpriced for what you get. Atmosphere feels old and run down and dirty. They didn't add the points and said we need to call the number to get the points. Go to any other hibachi place in Orlando, it won't be worse than this.
Always heard good things about this place, and love the Hilton brand as well, so decided to visit with 7 of my family members for my birthday today. MISTAKE. From food to service, to even the atmosphere and basic dining etiquette, this restaurant definitely misses the mark. I was satisfied with just a lesson learned and not ever returning, but when a group of young adults were seated right across from us (2 out of the 6 who weren’t even paying customers but just wanted to stand around) I had to involve a manager. This group was disorderly, screaming, vulgar and made it almost impossible for anyone to even hear their own thoughts! When describing all of the to manager “Darryl” his response was utterly shocking - “that is the Benihana way. They can stand around, hang out around and be as loud as they want because that’s our culture.” SERIOUSLY??! Where was the empathy, the customer service, the apology for a dinner disrupted?? There’s a difference between having a good time eating with your family/friends and calling negative attention from an entire restaurant to yourselves! I don’t expect to drop a few hundred dollars on a meal and have to deal with such classless behavior! I’m so disappointed in this establishment and the response of management and will definitely not be returning!
