Pizzafari offers decent, quick-service American-style pizza and Italian dishes in a themed setting. While some find the food mediocre or overpriced, others praise the family-style dining, allergy-friendly options, and convenient mobile ordering. Decor and air conditioning are pluses.
Tip: Mobile order your food to avoid lines, especially during peak meal times.
A Culinary Masterpiece in the Heart of the Animal Kingdom! Dining at Pizzafari was nothing short of a revelation — a true hidden gem tucked away in the wilds of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You might expect a quick-service pizza joint in a theme park to be forgettable, but Pizzafari absolutely shattered those expectations and delivered an experience that could rival a high-end trattoria in Rome. Let’s begin with the pepperoni pizza — my choice for the evening. This wasn’t your average slice. The crust was impeccably crisp with a delicate char that spoke of artisanal stone baking. Each bite delivered a symphony of flavor: the pepperoni was bold and perfectly curled with just the right amount of crisp, and the cheese was luxuriously melted, creating a creamy contrast that balanced the spice of the meat beautifully. The sauce? A bright, herbaceous tomato blend that hinted at garlic, basil, and maybe even a touch of sun-drenched oregano. My girlfriend, whose palate is famously refined (she once sent back crème brûlée in Paris for being too pedestrian), ordered the classic cheese pizza. She described it as “sublime in its simplicity.” The mozzarella was gooey, rich, and clearly high quality — it stretched with elegance on every bite. The ratio of sauce to cheese was spot-on, creating a harmony that even the most seasoned food critic would applaud. The ambiance deserves its own standing ovation. The dining room was whimsical yet tasteful, with vibrant murals and lush jungle-inspired decor that made us feel like we were sipping Chianti in a rainforest villa. And let’s talk about service: fast, efficient, and genuinely warm. The cast members treated our lunch like a fine dining reservation. If you think Pizzafari is just another theme park pit stop — think again. It’s a gourmet oasis where flavor reigns supreme, and every bite is a celebration. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or just someone with a deep appreciation for a damn good slice, Pizzafari is a must. Bravo!
The allergy friendly pizza here was much better then the "normal" pizza. It was bigger and less greasy. It's a cauliflower crust that had a nice rise and texture to it and tasted similar to regular gluten crust. There is no kid sized allergy crust, so order it off the kids menu. You'll pay $4 less for the same adult sized pizza and get two sides and a small drink included. As with all allergy orders though you cannot order via the mobile app and it took 15 minutes to make because they have a dedicated kitchen for allergy orders.
We had Chicken Parm on a Bun with Ceasar Salad and the Kid's Pasta with Turkey Sauce (includes a mandarin orange and Cinnamon Bug Bite cookie) . The food was good for the value and the atmosphere was simple yet well themed. Appreciated an air conditioned meal on a humid and hot day at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Updated on 8-31. Family dinning. They changed a bit. Now we can pick pizza, even half& half. And they will bring everything to you. Great service, super friendly stuff, great price for full course(fast food) 👍nice decoration too.
We loved Pizzafari. We did the family style dining, which is different from the regular Pizzafari menu. This was a very nice dining experience. You get caprese salad, ceasar salad, two types of pasta, pizza and cannoli's, all for $23 or 1 quick service credit. This is probably one of the best values for your quick service credit of the dining plan.

We ordered through the app and with minutes our order came. The cheese pizza comes in a personal pizza size, and tasted surprisingly pretty well with a good crust. The breadsticks were not bad, though the salad was not really fresh. The location has nice African decals on the walls and an open design with quick lines.
Pretty good meals. I had the chicken parmesan gnocchi. It was good. I liked the garlic bread. It tasted like if Starbucks made garlic bread. The chicken parmesan was very cheesy. I enjoyed that.
Decent Place to cool off and have something other than burgers. The menu is limited and the do not have any Gluten free options. The salad was mushy but for the price it was decent. I really liked the shrimp flatbread for something different.
Nice decor, quick service. I liked the fact the sandwhich came with a small ceasar salad and not fries. The sandwiches were ready in 10 seconds, so it was all pre-assembled, which made the chicken soggy.

The experience was overall pleasant—nothing particularly standout, but the food was decent and reasonably priced. The interior has some cute murals that add a nice touch of personality, and it’s great to see vegan pizza on the menu, which is always appreciated.
The food is a decent snack while passing through the park. I went with the cheese pizza that comes with a small salad and a coke. Hit the spot but do not expect gourmet. Just quick and easy while passing through. Plenty seating available but do try to avoid the normal meal times as it can get a little crowded.

Solid theme park fuel. Would’ve rather eaten somewhere else in the park, but the pizza wasn’t bad and the service was fast and cheerful. As with all things Disney it was overpriced, but that goes without saying.
We came here to get my brother a pizza for lunch and it was mediocre. It was good nothing was bad but at the same time, nothing stood out. I would come back if I was craving traditional fast food, American style pizza.
This cute little quick service is located right at the front of the park before getting to the tree of life. The best part about this place is you can mobile order your food & don't have to wait the lines! At around $10 per pizza combo, it's not bad pricing for eating at a theme park. My family of 9 ate for $120 and we even ordered garlic rolls too. I tried the vegan pizza and was really incredible disappointed. The cheese pizza was delicious, and the garlic rolls were better than the actual pizza. I would come back and just eat salad and garlic rolls, LOL.

Place beautiful , clean and staff friendly but the pizza doesn’t taste good. For the price is better to eat at Starbucks.

This place is awful. I love pizza. But their pizza was like expensive microwaved garbage. I know it's not actually microwaved. But it sure tasted like it. It was old and sitting under lamps, and is like a cracker. I bought a plain cracker pizza, a small soda, and garlic knots and it cost me 23$.
When it comes to the food, please avoid this place. There are genuinely better spots to eat than this place. If you have a picky eater, eat at Restaurantasaurus. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with ceased salad and my boyfriend ordered the chicken parm pasta with marinara sauce. We weren’t expecting the greatest food ever, but we were expecting something just okay. This was far from okay, it was one of the worst places on Disney property we have ever ate at. The pizza was greasy, the marinara sauce tasted like it was straight out of the can, and the meal itself was not very filling at all. Please avoid this place and do not eat here.
Super easy to sit down at 6:00 pm on a November Tuesday. Best thing here is the bear. Pizza, with plant based sausage, was rubber hard. I paid for it and thought I would endure, and surely these teeth could handle it, but I had to let it soften in my mouth to a few minutes before it was edible. The plant based sausage is terrible, hard AF, flavorless. The Caesar salad was soggy and not even cool. I would draft it as a tolerable. But seriously, my soft palette is wrecked.
I got the chicken parm sandwich, looked like it's made in a microwave. Id have been better off eating the tray. Everyone else in the group got a pizza. Pizza is about 8" across and is basically what you would expect for a park pizza. I wouldn't eat here again.

The food was old and stale, took 2 hours to get our food, they have no salad dressing or lids for drinks, the employees there don’t wear gloves or care about cleanliness, they deliberately decide to give you the old food rather than the food right out the oven, I saw an employee fiddling with something on my plate, the atmosphere was extremely loud and cramped, 0/10 would not recommend
