I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. Didn’t seem like much but the sushi was great and the service was also great. There’s not much seating so probably more of a takeout place, but we dined in and it was nice.

Food here is amazing! My husband and I are definitely becoming new regulars. Food is made fresh when ordered and the owner is so nice and friendly. If you like sushi, this is definitely a top choice to consider.

'Hidden gem' agree 100%. Utterly delicious, Bento box was sublime. Puts a lot of more expensive Australian sushi places to shame. Wonderful atmosphere, city and welcoming.

Good sushi at a great price! Got the Scorpion Roll, Temptation Roll and Lion King Roll (recommendation by the staff) and all three rolls were excellent. I really liked that the sushi chef created the perfect balance between rice and roll ingredients. Sushi rice was also made really well and you can tell that they really care about the quality of their ingredients. The only downside is that seating is limited. If you are in the area, definitely spot by!

Best sushi in Denton, without a doubt! Not only was everything I tried absolutely delicious, but everyone who worked there was so kind and attentive. The food presentation on each dish was done very well. The flavors were delectable and combination of ingredients tasted amazing!

The bento box is good. I had the sashimi bento box, which includes miso soup, salad, gyozo, shrimp tempura, California roll, and 6 pieces of sashimi.

SushiBox LakeDallas is my favorite restaurant in the area. They are always friendly, the atmosphere is warm, and the food is delicious. I was the COO of an international tool manufacturer and traveled extensively in Asia… Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, etc. I never had better Sushi that right here in Lake Dallas. The Louisiana Roll with crawfish is my absolute favorite of all time! Give it a try!!

Wish I had taken a photo before devouring our rolls but not a single one missed. Super surprised by the freshness, quality, price, portions, variety, everything! It was the best sushi I’ve had out of any of the spots in or near Denton. Will be back for sure

Beef Gimbap was phenomenal and the lunch special with the iced coffee was a nice touch to balance flavor. I have had Gimbap from H Mart, and Korean food places in the Carrollton Korean district and to compare them all, I would place this one as top of list for affordability and quality of the ingredients. 10/10 will visit again after that adventure and it's been added to my local favorites for sure.
