Ok everyone you need to head over to Urban Grill & Wine Bar! I am eating an excellent Half Mixed Greens Salad with balsamic vinaigrette and a Happy Hour special of Fried Calamari! The calamari has 2 excellent sauces with it plus lots of lemon like I like! The unsweetened iced tea is tropical and has a very light taste to it. I am so impressed!!! And my waiter Jacob is so accommodating and very sweet!
We've dined in 4-5 times and we've enjoyed the food and service everytime! The food is superb, and they use high quality ingredients. The servers checked up on us multiple times and were very friendly. We recommend the Artisan cheese board, Urban flatbread, Vegetable pasta, Mediterranean chicken, Seared dayboat salad entree.
Great food and wine!! Had the lamb chops and it was absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend the Raeburn Chardonnay 😍
Decided to try this place on a random weeknight. Best decision! The menu has almost anything you're in the mood for, but not overwhelming either. Their specialty cocktails were also great. Our server was very helpful and made great recommendations. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu, it was very difficult to decide on just one thing.
This is over if my fiancee and I favorite restaurants here in the lake Forest area. They always have prompt service, great food, great chef specials, awesome brunch and a wonderful drink menu. In the pictures below you have the scallops and French onion soup. The scallops were cooked perfect on a bed of some form of fried potatoes or root vegetables, delicious. The French onion soup base was delicious maybe needed just a touch of pepper my only other criticism was lack of the soup hitting the broiler. But aside from the semi soggy bread which was caused by the blanket of cheese creating a steam pocket it was delicious.
Great atmosphere excellent service the food is top of the line I will definitely be returning When they brought me the plate I kind of thought it was a little bit on the light side until I started eating I had more than enough Great place for a date right Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the plates and very attentive making sure we had whatever we needed When the bill came in and $158 I had no issue paying that bill because I was completely satisfied with the food and the service
In town for a soccer tournament and this place was right near our hotel. Staff was very attentive and made for a great overall experience.
Great food friendly service, and an independent restaurant, nice to have an option away from the big chain places.
The food here is off the charts delicious. You will not expect much this from the outside once you try the food you'll be quite impressed. This photo was scallops - I give them a 10+ rating

Traveling with my husband and stopped in for dinner. The hostess welcomed us immediately upon arrival. Our server, Justin, was excellent and very attentive. The manager, Kim, was wonderfully kind and inviting. Absolutely recommend and will be coming back!
So popular it was packed, just enough room to eat. Every bite was well worth it, every nibble was so delectable, the range of flavors were astounding. The lamb was cooked to perfection, the salad was crisp and light, the soup was flavorful and wholesome, even the bread was spectacular.
I cannot begin to Express how grateful I am for Urban Grill and Wine bar. I have ordered necessities twice now. They delivered to my door step. They have given me quality items, and I am enjoying everything from the eggs to the meat to the wine. They are a star in this dark time. Thank you Amanda and team. Our first time visiting you was Valentine's Day dinner. Who would have imagined that you would be brightening my life with necessities at a time like this?
Great place for wine and food. We got the cheese platter along with the Lamb Shank entree and they were both excellent. Also, the wine recommendations were on point. Chill vibe, with a few cougars sprinkled here and there.
This place is really a hidden gem. I've been here around 5 or 6 times and have never been disappointed. Meat is always cooked perfectly, service is great, and they have a great selection. (I took the prime-rib to work today as leftovers and it's still just as good!) I'll be back soon!
During this stay at home order, Urban Grill came to the rescue! I had the best dinner that I've had in a while! They delivered the food within a 1/2 hr. It was delicious! Even the left overs that I heated up in the microwave were great! Thank you Urban Grill for being there when we need you most!! You guys are Rockstars!
The food was absolutely amazing. The restaurant served a good portion of food. I ate it for lunch the next door. I wasn't sure when I drove up, but it was beautiful.
A pleasant surprise. Came in for lunch on a Monday expecting pasta and sandwiches. What I received was a full menu including Alaskan crab legs and prime ribeye steak. I ordered the ribeye and it was cooked beautifully alongside grilled veggies, onion straws and fried. I also ordered an Argentinian Malbec that was served at the perfect temp. My server Raul was present but not overbearing. Great experience.
I have really enjoyed about 95% of the dishes here. Some of my favorites are the fremch toast and dcramble from thr brunch menu, the pork chop, scallops and the Mac and chrese are amazing. I only had an issue with one lamb dish i got being a under seasoned, but otherwise service is great, they have good cocktails and wine selection.
Our favorite place is the bar with some of the best happy hour food specials in South OC. The staff is friendly, personal, and quick to serve. Kim, the bartender, is amazing at making her own unique concoctions, as well as expert at the traditional selections. Entrees are fantastic, and can take care of any size appetite. Absolutely a 'hidden gem' tucked in the middle of the little retail center with Starbucks on one end and Wahoo's on the other.
Urban is a great, upscale gem in Foothill Ranch. The food is excellent, including the sirloin salad, and the beer list is short but very interesting. The real secret here is that they're very kid-friendly, at least at lunch.
My food was delicious recommend
First time visiting this area and Urban Grill came highly recommended by everyone. I was not disappointed at all, Sunday Brunch was delicious, looked just as delicious as it tasted, Bloody Mary's are top notch, staff is polite, helpful and very attentive, I truly look forward to visiting here again soon, would absolutely recommend!
This was an fantastic experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The beverage list was full of interesting local options (that did not dissapoint), and the food was simply perfect.
Great food, service, and atmosphere here. There are lots of choices, and options for vegetarians and vegans as well. Definitely give the brussels sprout appetizer a try while you're here!
Very pleasant surprise. Restaurant appears to be targeted to the businesses and hotel nearby, but is actually a great place for local residents to check out too. We stu led onto it while visiting family in the area and couldn't be more pleased. Food was perfectly prepared and larger than expected. Service was top notch and super friendly. We will be back next time we are in the neighborhood.
We were visiting from Phoenix and staying at hotel nearby. Walked over and had THE BEST lamb chops ever! Casual atmosphere.. good pleasant service, I asked a few questions about menu and asked for a few things and server was more than freindly and great service. My lamb chopeal was maybe one of the higher cost items but in my opinion cheap for what I got. I gave 2 of my 6 chops to my hubby because I was too full.. he still tells me how good they were, his loaded burger looked pretty good too. Hubby has a whiskey, we also had 2 beers.. ( drinks cost about 30$ total was expected and enjoyed) folks complaining about cost in some of the reviews I saw are rediculous. I wish I could return but it's a thousand miles away.. but I told my daughter and her hubby to go and order the lamb chops!
OK, so it is a bit on the pricey side, but it sure is worth every penny. I had one of the best Salmon dinners in my life, with a really tasty risotto. They have an extensive wine list and a very good mixed drink offering. Also, there is some nice craft beers. If you are looking for a great night out, or to celebrate a special occasion, this is a great place to dine.
What a great neighborhood bistro. The bartender Stacy was awesome, as a friendly companion during lunch as out of towners. Eclectic beer selection, with a solid lunch menu that complimented the dinner menu brilliantly. Next sales trip, we will be going back
Visited for the holidays and went here multiple times, sometimes for takeout and sometimes dining in. Every time, service was quick and on the mark. In fact, the waiter refilled our waters consistently without us asking. A great hidden gem. Big fan of the calamari, Caesar and ahi tuna salads, the steak, the lamp chops, and the steak sandwich. Highly recommend.
Very cute resturant. It is in walking distance from the Courtyard in Foothall. Server was really nice. Foo was delicious. I had the Lamb chop entree over medium. It came with spinach, nice sauce, potatoes, and roasted tomatoes. The Lemon drop alcohol drink was super good. Very good starter drink for virgin drinkers. Definitely will come back here again.
Amazing food and spectacular service during this strange pandemic time. We ordered their Classic Burgers, obviously to go, and we're told they would be ready in about 15 minutes. Less than 10 minutes later the food was delivered to our car. The food tasted incredible as well. The whole car ride home smelled amazing.
It's a small restaurant and it doesn't look like much from the outside, because of the business offices around it, but this place is amazing. It's hands down the best steak place and best appetizer place. So delicious! The service is incredible. They're very quick. Just the ambiance is wonderful. I took my dad there for his 64th birthday and New Year's Eve. It's guaranteed very good food no matter what you order. I am willing to take that drive.
The food was fantastic, my filet cooked perfect. My husband had the chili and the meat was so tender and the spices just perfect. The atmosphere, appetizers and wine made for a great evening out. The staff is attentive and quick service. We definitely will be back. Steve & Viv
The food was great. Went for a work party and not one complaint. The cocktails were delicious.
Went there for a business meeting. Ordered kale and quinoa salad with mango and citrus dressing, mmmm it was gooood!! It was fresh and super crispy. My husband ordered Asparagus Cream Soup and Blackened Shrimp Caesar Salad, he thoroughly enjoyed the soup with bread. Salad was good too. All our business colleagues enjoyed whatever they ordered. Really happy to find a great place near our house. Recommended.
Had a great time with my first visit to Urban grill and wine bar. The atmosphere and service were A+ and the food was fantastic. My favorite was the side dish of Brussels sprouts. This will definitely be on my short list of restaurants, especially if meeting friends for drinks and dinner.
Essentially the only wine bar anywhere in the area. Quiet, chill and somewhat romantic atmosphere. They have a big menu in addition to their wine offerings. Service was great! Any time I'm looking for a laid back place to grab a glass of wine I'll come here.
This place is a gem. I had the pork chop and have to say that it was excellent. Grilled perfectly and the sauce was excellent. My daughter had the pasta with chicken and it was equally good. We also had a wedge salad and a garden salad which were very tasty and well dressed. Nice selection of craft beers and wines. I had a glass of the Roberts Pinot Noir. Sorry I ate the food before taking a picture. Try this place.
This place really is a great place to enjoy a meal! The pricing is good and the food is even better. I've only been a few times, but each time I have gone, the servers were nice and the food tasted delicious. I really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and design/feel of the place. I truly would recommend this to anyone who enjoys good food and wants to have a good time. Your friends will love this place if you recommend it.
The meals are amazing! Pork Chops are an out of this world flavor experience! Worth the price every time I have gone. Went a few days ago and everything is very Covid safe... which means you may have to wait a bit during peak times so plan accordingly.
My daughter always orders the pork chop plate because it is her absolute favorite. I tried the lamb chops with steamed spinach and fingerling potatoes. It was exceptional. I had the white and milk chocolate bread pudding—another excellent choice for dessert.
Outstanding food and service. Expensive yes, but again you get what you pay for. Cocktails are inventive and taste well. Atmosphere is nice for a place this small. I consider it an insider tip, go try it out. Money well spend
Delicious food. Brunch menu pork and eggs. It came with a chef special sauce and it was one of the best sauces I've ever had. It was not spicy but the flavor was out of this world. I had to ask for more to take home.
Urban Grill has some of the most hardest working employees. Hands down this restaurant took no time to modify how they do service in the times of covid. They not only had to change fast they helped the community with offering groceries and survival boxes. You truly want to support them in return. And if you love fish I highly recommend their Fresh fish on Fridays they are the best and so fresh. Thank you Urban Grill
Our 2nd time here, and everything was on point. Great food, very friendly service, and excellent cocktails. Give it a shot!
Urban grill is a great local gathering place to meet up for happy hour and tapas, as well as being able to enjoy a true culinary experience for a family gathering or a romantic date night and everything in between! It’s one of the best local restaurants around and in a central location, good people, and surrounded by the stunning landscape of our lovely community! Parking lot is fairly small but the majority of the surrounding businesses close between 6-7pm and then ample parking available! For visitors, if staying at the nearby Marriott, Urban Grill is walking distance and I highly encourage you to stop off for a drink, a small plate, and if the mood strikes, have a gastronomical experience! Enjoy!
Food was delicious and service fantastic! We were a party of six and enjoyed the restaurant. Will dine there again!
I came here for lunch and for dinner. I was satisfied both times, trying a sandwich with meat and a "simple" shrimp caesar. Taste was great and quantity was on point to be happy at the end of the meal. Staff will look after you greatly.
We always have a wonderful time at Urban Grill and Wine Bar, and last night was no exception. We love that it's a local place with friendly and attentive service. Our server, Holly, remembered us and our drinks, and she even remembered that we like to take our time before ordering. As small business owners ourselves, we appreciate the importance of making customers feel valued and remembered. I had the sea bass special, which was paired with an amazing raspberry sauce. The sea bass was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was the perfect complement. I always hope that the special is halibut or sea bass, because they always do a fantastic job of preparing these fish in different ways. We will definitely be back to Urban Grill and Wine Bar, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal and excellent service.
Great place with delicious food and great wine!! Highly recommended, we are definitely coming back!
Absolutely great place for lunch!!! Our beet and ahi salads were the best! Highly recommend this venue!
OMG!!! and I am very particular. This place is OUTSTANDING in all aspects. Just had their special with a nice glass of wine. The best Chilean sea bass I’ve ever had in my life! I’ve had this in many states before including Florida and Calif just to name a few but this was/is by far the best ever! Prepared to perfection with a mango-pineapple sauce on top of amazing mashed potato/baby broccoli spears. Ate every bite. Perfect sized portion for dining alone. I will be back soon and will tell all my friends who live in SoCal. If traveling as I’m doing, it’s a must stop by kind of place.

Burger was impressively sized and looked great. Ordered medium well, showed up well done (no pink, a little dry). I think the patty was some kind of blend with added ingredients, but not sure. I couldn't finish it, it was so huge. It was good, though. Flavors were there. Fries were crispy and delicious. Calamari was the star, highly recommend it. Came with two sauces, one I didn't like, the other I did. I would come back.
Nice little casual dining spot. Good menu selection of western food. I heard great things about the flatbread and the lettuce wrap so we ordered this. They didn't disappoint. The Thai chicken flatbread had a very tasty sauce and was large enough for a second meal. It tasted even better on day 2. The lettuce was also very fresh and wasn't too saucy. When the mixture is too saucy it can be a messy experience but this one wasn't that. Beverages were generously poured (at least wine) and cocktails were a little on the pricey side for a small glass with a lot of ice. Atmosphere and ambiance is okay (nothing too unique). They have a bar / pub area integrated with the dining section. Even though the restaurant is located in a plaza, parking could be challenging at times. So, just be aware that certain times of days may be hard to park. Service was excellent.
(Update 4/12/23 still excellent service. 4th time I have been here to get my favorite Drink that is available on their website but is never available when I'm here. So disappointing ) **Original review** Excellent, very unique cocktails! Chicken Lettuce wraps, and scallops plates are excellent! Like most things in life... It's all about the little details that distinguish good enough and wow! This little restaurant is tucked away in a very nondescript strip mall. Delivers all the correct information! Excellent customer service, food, and drinks!

The food was delicious. I had the filet mignon and just tender and spiced perfectly. The only problem we had was our waitress was evidently new to the trade. She had tattoos up and down both arms and it gave us all the skeivys. It would have been nice if she would have had on long sleeves. Also she broke a cork into a bottle of wine and tried to sift it into a carafe. There was wine all over the table and only after we insisted she get another bottle was this taken care of. We had reservations for dining outside but we had to go inside because the reservations were not right. We ended up sitting inside and it was fine as we had a table in a back corner with no one around. It, despite having an untrained waitress was excellent dining.
I had a steak. It was cooked perfectly. The potatoes were delicious. My veggies were cooked perfectly too. No one like mushy veggies, they had a nice crunch. Also enjoyed a cup of French onion soup.
My team at work have come here several times and have always enjoyed the food and drinks. The wedge and beet salads are very good... good portions too. The chicken and tri tip sandwiches are delicious too.
Great food, wide variety, fresh and delicious. And it's even outdone by an excellent wine list. I live this place. I travel to this area regularly and deliberately stay in Foothill Ranch so I can come here. It has a chill low-key atmosphere, great staff, and even has a couple TVs to catch a Monday Night Football game after a long day of travel. Burger is fresh ground meat and is delicious with nice mound of fried onion strings. Filet Mignon is delicious. Ahi tuna is delicious (and spicy). Did I mention the wine? Great list, lots of options for by the glass of above average wines at decent price points. They're not outrageous prices, but not cheap. It's the price of good quality food. Entrées are in the $25 range, with a couple burgers/sandwiches for about $15.
Busy little place. I suggest making reservations well ahead of time. I had the lettuce wraps as this place is NOT cheap. However, the dish was very good and a good size, the atmosphere was lively and the service was good.
Our server Natalie was great. Food was good not great. Don't recommend the chiliquiles.
Very good burger, excellent! Cooked well and the herbed matchstick fries were so good along side. Crab crab cakes good, but not my favorite. Take out service was wonderful, such nice employees. Highly recommend.
Great food, excellent food, and fabulous pairings. Great environment but parking is horrible when it's busy. I don't usually let servers pick wines for me as I tend to stick to budget at wine bars and when I do let others pick fit me, my budget is blown out of the water. It's happened to me twice here, but that's on me, not them! Truth is they have great wines though not a lot of old grapes, which are my faves. They really, really love their California wines and I wish they were a bit more adventurous with their regions, but overall a nice place.
The food was great as usual. However, the service was just meh. One of our guest said she was allergic to Tomatoes. The waiter acknowledged it and said she could pick them out of the dish. When the dish came, there was no way to just pick them out. Sub par service for the prices.
Nice spot and really good wine selection. We all ordered pasta and it was good but not memorable. I was told by others who have been here that their strongpoint is definitely not pastas. Great ambience, very attentive staff otherwise.
What a strange place this was. Advertised as a Grill and Wine Bar… felt closer to an outdated sushi restaurant. The food was OK at best. It felt like there were conflicting vibes
Great fish and chips, perfectly cooked. Only point I take out were the lukewarm fries (which were still very good, I just like them hot!). Service was absolutely spot on.
Pleasantly surprised. Tasty food and great service at lunch time. Fairly small but wasn't crowded. We got chicken lettuce wraps, Mac n cheese, crab cakes, and a side of blackened shrimp. Skip the lettuce wraps. Nothing wrong with them, there was just nothing particularly enjoyable about them. The chicken mix comes with peanuts already and there's a side of peanut sauce, so it basically just tastes like peanuts. Again, not bad but not worth taking a spot in your order. The crab cakes were awesome. Great flavor and a tasty sauce/jam underneath with some pickled veg on the side. The Mac n cheese was good, smoky flavor and you can never go wrong with prosciutto. Then we ordered a side of just the blackened shrimp they use for a salad. We should have asked for a bowl of them, they were so delicious that I'm definitely ordering them in some form next time, perfectly seasoned and blackened, still tender and really just delightful. So all that plus a kid meal, 2 soft drinks refilled once a piece, bill came out to 75 bucks. Really enjoyed checking this place out and will stop in again for lunch or dinner for sure.
Do you like hole-in-the-wall restaurants, with really good food and wine? I do… and found another one with Urban Grill and Win Bar. We enjoyed Mediterranean chicken and scallops and asparagus. Restaurant hidden in a corporate park/strip mall. Service was outstanding and friendly. Looking forward to my next trip, to visit again.

Friendly waitress remembered us from last visit, which was a while back. The food is okay to better than okay in general. Miniature patio/outside seating is enjoyable after the crowds have receded. Good beers on tap, chili, excellent au gratin potatoes. Don't get lettuce wraps if you've ever had lettuce wraps that you enjoyed. Heavy odor of mildew mop water ruins the inside dining area. Like a small town diner dreamt of growing up and did so, but didn't go to college. I like it alright. Not for the foodies, hungry fat guys, young girls, fussy eaters. Good for middle-aged lady wine drinking parties. I'll probably return for the potatoes, to the dismay of my company.
I went for the "brunch" but they did not really have an offering for brunch, with only 5 items on the brunch menu. I got the lettuce wrap and the California Omelette and a house chopped salad. The salad and lettuce wrap was not my taste. Salad was too sour while the lettuce wrap was too spicy. I prefer lettuce wrap with a bit of sweetness to it to fit the taste of lettuce. The California Omelette was decent, but other places make better ones.
Crowded, loud and overpriced if you are looking for that atmosphere. Good food though. Go to the Italian place right next door. Same owner. Great food. Fair priced. You can have a conversation.
Amazing service, drinks and the fish and chips were good. However, the Blackened Ahi salad was one of the most disappointing, gross, overpriced salads I’ve had in awhile. Dressing was oily with zero taste, Ahi was chewy, barely any toppings with greasy, limp fried onions and peanuts. Leaves had black marks all over it. Could’ve definitely gone to target and gotten their salad for half the cost but double the taste. Everything else was good tho! Go for drinks and anything else!
Food isn’t as good here as it was 5+ years ago. Shoestring Fries were always a hit but this last time the fries weren’t done like ‘the usual’ way. No salt, soggy, tasteless. Had the ahi tuna tar tar. Way over seasoned. Raw tuna wasn’t fresh.
Was one of the best places to eat in the area but changed with management, Covid or both. Ordered a "special" family meal for NYE and it wasn't good. I Called a few days later but no response. Closed on Sundays /Mondays as well. Update: I received a poorly received response from Kimberly at Urban. Not what you'd expect to receive from a review. She did give me a bunch of excuses for their issues and claimed to have sent me a refund but it was never received. Sad to say that nothing was resolved. I've had good experiences there and several good waitresses, just this one experience was negative and Kimberly didn't help.
It's a decent place but the food had very little flavor. The tomato bisque with chicken was described as similar to a chicken tortilla soup. Neither of us thought it was even a distant cousin and the promised "kick" tasted like good ol' vinegar based Louisiana hot sauce. The streak sandwich was tender enough but again, no flavor. We got the apple cobbler and it was a lit of oatmeal crumb topping with just a small amount of apples. Very small portion of cobbler. Try a different dessert. Friendly waiter but not overly attentive considering it was a light crowd. Bit disappointed.
I have been to Urban Grill and a few times now. All excellent experiences and service. Top notch service! However, this last visit was disappointing. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps. The lettuce was warm, wilted and dirty! Like, literal dirt on each piece. I had to rinse all of it. I used one lettuce leaf and just ate the chicken filling with a fork. The 2 sauces they provide? Amazing! Although, barely any in the containers. I also ordered the sweet chili brussel sprouts. Flavor? Delicious! But, they were drowning in the chili sauce. Couldn't eat more that 3 pieces. I also ordered a Creme Brulee. SO good! The staff are attentive and super friendly.
I don’t know how this place charges what it charges. The filet mignon 8 oz is $60. This is the same price as Mastros and other near-high end steakhouses. My friend had the Prime Rib and he said it was fair. I ordered the lamb chops. They were passable, but the spinach was greasy and flavorless. A side dog asparagus was smothered pure oil. Only the cheese plate and caprese salad were good. Those don’t really require cooking. At their prices, the ambiance and food needs to be much better. With non alcoholic drinks, one appetizer for two, a salad, and entree without dessert it was about $80-90 per person. Not worth the price. It’s about Urban plates (small chain) quality at Mastros prices.
We decided to try this place based on the great reviews. We either went on a bad night or the restaurant has went downhill. I made reservations through OpenTable and as soon as we sat down I had a feeling we weren’t going to have a good dinner. The table was very wobbly. They sat us under a cooking vent from a previous restaurant. It took around 20 mins to get our drinks out to us. The drinks were amazing. We got the hidden agenda and it’s pretty much a spicy take on an old fashioned. We ordered the scallops as an appetizer and we only received two scallops, yes only 2 when it’s a 21 dollar appetizer. We thought it was maybe a mistake and we asked the waitress how many scallops the appetizer normally comes with and her response was two! We almost wanted to end the dinner and leave after those drinks and appetizer but we decided to give them another chance and order dinner. I was wondering what the catch of the day was, the waitress was telling the other tables what the catch of the day was but not our table… My lady ordered the blackened ahi and I got the Australian lamb chops. My lady did not like her blackened ahi at all and was too embarrassed to send her food back. Instead of the ahi being blackened it was extremely sweet, like agave syrup sweet. Also the veggies weren’t cooked, cold inside. My lamb chops were good but cooked to the medium I asked. The potatoes weren’t cooked and the spinach was very soggy because there was way too much olive oil. I hardly ate any of it. Looks like from the previous reviews that they place has new owners. New owners most likely trying to cut cost due to a new acquisition and they own other restaurants. We won’t be back. Only maybe if they have happy hour and get drinks and a burger.

Stayed at the Marriott across the parking lot, really excited since it’s walking distance away. Disappointing. Ordered the chicken artichoke fettuccini, was looking forward to the pasta which is made in house. It was too thick and weirdly curly, didn’t taste fresh. The artichokes weren’t prepared right, extremely fibrous. Tiny pieces of chicken, slightly smaller than dress shirt buttons. Wine was good.
Service was almost nonexistent and without apology. Three out of five of us had something wrong with our order (missing sauce, missing syrup, no cream with coffee and by the time the sorry waitress brought it the coffee was cold and had to wait for another coffee.). The food was good, though. But the service was so poor that our first visit became our last one.
The food was fine (we just had appetizers). The prices for apps were a little high but the biggest issue was service. At 8:45pm they started blasting the music from the bar indicating we should leave. When we went outside, others were saying how they basically felt chased out by their server.

Other than Tannis everything was not right. Happy hour vodka at $6 is reasonable assuming you get more than one sip. I got two drinks @ $ 12 and not equivalent to a normal drink. The chili was served called with out the desired onions and cheese requested also more broth than meat and beans. After returned, it came back as requested and was good. Though the server ran away and I had to request for a spoon. The salad was to be served with pecans there were none and also sweet and soggy. The grilled cheese sandwich had no cheese. The fish and chips were soggy as if they were made with frozen fish. I had to request for lemons and vinegar. Also I had to request for silverware. Knowing what took place you would think that the restaurant would make some accommodation. Nope.
Service below average, the food we had was below average ( fish and chips which was recommended by our server) and the Ahi Salad, over priced too for such an establishment. Would not visit again and don’t recommend it to anyone.
Wish I could give LESS than ONE STAR! My guy and I *tried* to go to Urban Wine Bar & Grill on a Thursday afternoon for a couple of cocktails. What a mistake! He arrived a couple minutes before me and ordered both of our drinks. He was told “only one drink per person” even though I was just parking the car. They would not make my drink until I was seated at the bar. My drink was vodka-based, the “Hot & Bothered” and I prefer Tito’s. We were informed there are no substitutions. HUH??!! We also ordered another cocktail, “Tina’s New Rac” and asked that it be served over ice. We were told “We don’t serve that drink over ice because the ice will melt and water down the drink.” True. But we wanted it over ice. The bartender (who apparently has worked there for ten years and has “tons of regulars”) couldn’t be bothered with us. We were the ONLY people in the place. ZERO regulars were in attendance on Thursday evening for happy hour. Holly, the server, was equally sour and put off at our request to pay with Apple Pay. “Our system is old,” she quipped. “Sorry.” Despite visiting Urban Wine Bar & Grill several times previously and enjoying cocktails and small bites, we WILL NOT be returning. We left feeling that we were a complete inconvenience to the staff. The sour taste in my mouth even more bitter than my “Hot & Bothered.” Good luck.
Really a nice restaurant (in terms of atmosphere). Too bad it is tainted by poor customer service. I guess for the kinda money these guys are asking for, they can be snobby. $42.00 for pork chops? Better be the WAGYU of pork. Aside from the prices, their service was HORRIBLE. I came in just to have a beer and check out the menu. I count 6 employees. And I had to ASK someone if I could get a beer. I was happy to see a VERY nice selection on the menu... but the prices are like those of SUPER NICE RESTAURANTS IN LAS VEGAS. And Las Vegas quality? I'm guessing FAR FROM IT. But FOR DAMN SURE... I will not spend my money here... just because of POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am actually adding this part on to my original review SPECIFICALLY because of a what the female bartender said when I tried to pay and leave. As I sat at the bar with both my wallet and $20.00 bill in my hand, the bartender was cleaning/tidying things up. I even made eye contact with the "bar-back" who was just standing in place doing nothing but look at me, then back over to the bartender. So when I had to ASK someone if I could pay for my beer, the rude, unhelpful, female bartender came up to me and said the beer is on them and to, "Never come back"... GO BACK? NEVER!!! TELL ALL OF MY CUSTOMERS, FAMILY, AND FRIENDS ABOUT MY THIS PLACES POOR SERVICE & RIDICULOUS PRICES? EVERY DAY... LAST NOTE- I even went as far to read what ther OTHER LOW REVIEWS stated. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE is absolutely killing this nicely apointed restaurant. And from those other reviews, I think the common denominator is the bartender and waiter who have been there for a long time.
Ever heard of a place that won't give you a small sample of the draft beer they offer that you've never tasted before? No one that I've asked does. Urban Grill won't. They gave me a sample of their $10 per pint beer. I bought a pint. They wouldn't give me a sample of their $12 per pint beer. Are they stupid? Yes. They said they don't give samples of that beer because it's too expensive. I know there's no markup on beer (😏😜). If they can't give a sample of an unknown beer then they shouldn't be selling it. Food is really good but they've gotten expensive, especially for single shot drinks. They're getting greedy. Too bad. UPDATE: Here again tonight (my girlfriend wanted to go there for her birthday, figured I'd give them another chance). Got a TINY sample of the Blue Manchu beer. It was really good so I ordered one. Same story as our last visit with the next beer, when I asked for a sample of that beer, they said they don't give samples of that draft beer. REALLY? Maybe they only give samples of the first beer you want to try and then buy. If it hadn't been my girlfriend's birthday, I would have walked out. Seems moronic to me that they can't give a customer spending $150 a 1 ounce sample of one of their beers. I've NEVER been anywhere that won't give you a sample of one of their craft beers. I'll spend my $150 somewhere else next time. They've gotten GREEDY! Too bad.
Service was horrendous. We have been there many times before the change of management and it was one of our favorite places to eat. NOT ANYMORE. Firstly, the first server could not speak English, then secondly server was terrible, he took our drinks order and disappeared for 25mins; then we had to find him 20mins later to order food. 45 mins later he come back and asks if we would like food still waiting for one of the drinks. If I could give zero stars I would!!! There were also two other table where they ordered drinks and meals that never came, or when finally served the food was wrong and tables waiting 20-30 Mins for there credit card and receipt to come back. Whats unfortunate is there were only 4 tables to serve!!! Our drink and food never arrived and we ended up leaving without eating. We won’t be coming back.
Worst restaurant experience I’ve had in quite some time. I was seated in the bar area and sat there for about 20 minutes while employee after employee walked by without acknowledging me. I finally got up to leave and asked the hostess if anyone was going to assist me. She looked around and said she would find someone—though she was also one of the employees who had walked by during that time. Maybe it was because it was Valentine’s Day and I was dining solo, but either way, there’s no excuse for that level of service—especially with the prices they charge. Any one of those employees should have noticed a customer who hadn’t been helped and taken ownership, but none did. That says a lot about the culture and accountability. I won’t be back, and I’ll be sure to share my experience with others.
Waitress said, Be right with you. Then only worked the one 4 top in the place. I walked out after she acknowledged me, but continued to ignore me, for 15 minutes. Pretty sad, I was the only table other than the 4 top. Just because I am alone, and not drinking alcohol, no table should be ignored.
