Chicken very well made. I would get back but for the chicken only. The mashed potatoes and Cole slaw were very low quality. Don't enjoy saying this, but there should be a greater investment in these beautiful side orders. (Also, putting crispy chicken on soft rolls in a hot box creates flat bread). Service was sincere . Food is good but not worth it for the cost. Got 16 tender and frys cost the same as a family meal. There is a reason why the prices are not on menu. The family meal is 15 tenders 2 sides. This review is not to say the staff did wrong, the company or franchise owner is to blame as they won't post prices of items other then select few to change what ever price. If you gonna spend over $30 for food i would rather spend it elsewhere.

The food was terrible. The dining area looked messy and dirty . Tables were not clean. The windows looked like they had not been cleaned, from the outside, in a very long time. The food was hardly edible. My son had Buffalo Chicken Fries. I ordered fries and a coke. The Buffalo chicken fries looked and tasted like chunks of chicken breast meat covered in Louisiana Hot Sauce. The fries looked and tasted like Hill Country microwaved frozen fries. Maybe they were having a bad day?

Heard manager being very rude to her employees she was screaming and yelling to all. Very unprofessional we walked out.

Chicken and everything in menu is now tasting horrible, the only thing that was good was the bread. I don’t know what’s happening, but disgusting taste, like old, spoiled, foul odor or they are using very dirty oil…. It use to be good when they first opened. Hope the owners fix issues asap !! Hope I don’t get sick 🤢

Do not go with ELIZABETH REY there. She charges differently every time. The lady with the full black outfit and a braid. She will make your food wrong and is so passive aggressive. Why do you want to work miserably. Just work.

Dry buffalo fries. Elizabeth Rey ALWAYS does my order incorrectly, adds zero buffalo sauce EVEN THOUGH IM PAYING FOR EXTRA. The price is different EVERYTIME.

Absolutely sorry product. Ordered takeout order of good and it was overcooked, like beef jerkey, and like rocks. I called and asked for a refund and the manager said they NEVER give money back. She said that she would consider remaking the food but it had to be NOW. I told her that we would swing by tomorrow and she flat out refused. Seriously, if you acknowledge you made crappy food, one would think you would want to make it right. Should have gone to Cane’s!

I tried Bush's chicken for the first time yesterday. It was a long drive to the other end of town but, I thought I'd give it a shot. The place is clean and tidy. The decor is country-ish with booths along the perimeter by the windows and regular tables in the middle. The booths are typically comfortable but larger people will find it difficult to sit in them. They are the fixed type that you find in older burger joints (think Dairy Queen circa 1980). For my order, I selected the 2 piece fried chicken dinner. I paid an up-charge to get 2 breasts. For my sides, I ordered the Mac and cheese and country Cole slaw. The chicken breasts were big and the sides were of a good size too. I started with the mac and cheese, which I found to be doughy and bland. I've made better at home using generic boxed mac and cheese. The country cole slaw was better; it was creamy and sweet with a little tartness. The included bread roll was commendably light and airy. The chicken looked good but at first bite, the breading was hard and had absolutely no flavor. It tasted like fried flour. and, the breast itself lacked any flavor; it tasted like boiled chicken, yuck! I resorted to removing the breading from the breasts. My plate ended up looking like an autopsy. Southern fried chicken is an art, many people take pride in making their own, well, not here. Comparing the chicken only, Chick-fil-A, Popeye's and KFC have nothing to worry about. Bush's chicken would more directly compete with Church's chicken and, I would take Church's chicken any day! Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere. This chicken should only be sold at convenience stores and gasoline stations. FAIL!

I'm not one to post negative reviews. But I think it is necessary to hold people accountable, so that their service can be better overall. I came here for the first time, excited because I had heard great things. I now live close by and I was on my lunch break. A couple of individuals were working on my yard, so I decided to come here and buy some lunch for them aswell. I was excited to find out that there was a Tuesday Special. This was the perfect meal for 3 different individuals to share. 16 pieces is too much for one person. I was alone in my car when I ordered. The gentleman that attended me was kind and respectful. I asked if the package could be separated into two different boxes so that I could safely share it with other individuals. Due to COVID. The gentleman very respectfully said, I will ask my supervisor for you. I didn't think that this would be such an issue, so I waited patiently logically thinking that everything would work out. The supervisor told the employee this could not be done. I was surprised. When I asked if I could just have a seperate container and that I would be willing to pay for it, the employee said no. He said, I would have to buy two seperate packages. 32 pieces was too much for 3 individuals. I decided not to purchase the meal and instead went to the new Whataburger nearby, where they attended me greatly. And they had amazing service. What I was hoping would be a positive experience and a good deed for the individuals working on my yard, ended up trying to be stopped by this particular Bush's Chicken. Thankfully. WhataB was there to save the day. Very sad. I was excited to try their corn nuggets.
