This place is great! Service is always good, and everyone there is friendly. Their breakfast is just okay, but their lunch and dinner plates are top-notch. It can be a little pricey, but it’s worth it. They also have the coldest beer out of any place in Laredo.

Fast,friendly, clean resteraunt with authentic high quality food. Was in town visiting on business and referred to this place for authentic taste. Brought out beans chips salsa and limes while looking over the menu . Had to try the enchiladas and tacos al pastor both were amazing quality food full of flavor.looking forward to future trips to try other items off the menu .

As you all know, I do not give 5 stars!!! I have been coming here for years and left for 3 years and came back this weekend. It's as if I never left. The quality of meat and the cooking is always to perfection. Never a disappointment. The tortillas de maiz are made there! Everything is cooked to order. There mole stys as a paste untill ordered! The atmosphere is smooth and great for a night out or a date. You won't be disappointed.

Being in Laredo, I was quite impressed by the efficiency of the service, particularly on a busy Friday night when many patrons were present for the football game. The waiter demonstrated a high level of attentiveness, and it is evident that the management of this establishment prioritizes operational effectiveness. On a separate occasion when we visited for breakfast, the service continued to impress. The waiter’s approach was commendable, as he frequently refilled our drinks without being asked, which we found to be a thoughtful gesture. In many dining experiences, guests often have to signal for assistance, which can be inconvenient. Overall, the attention to detail and the quality of customer service provided here is exceptional.

Best Mexican spot all around in Laredo for my money. From a wide menu selection, to cleanliness of the restaurant, to the food and drink quality. When in Laredo, I would consider it a must go to location.

If you ever happen to find yourself in Laredo, TX I recommend this place!! And you definitely need to get the starters... gorditas which come with a side of black beans topped with some queso fresco. And also the queso flameado 🤤 which I totally didn't get a picture of bc everyone dug in quick! Lol. My lub and I got the fajitas which come with 3 meats of your choice. I loved the chicken and the sirloin!! 3rd meat was the fajita which I was not too fond of. But overall its made my top list! And it the BEST thing is that they make their flour and corn tortillas by hand 🤤🤤🤤 And the service was exceptional!! They were on top of everything 😊

Had my second meal here, again everything was delicious. There is also a big window into the kitchen where you can see the staff hand making fresh tortillas which is very cool.

La Carretas delivered a great meal. The carne asada was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, and the salsas were excellent with fresh, bold taste. The charro beans had great flavor as well, though they could’ve used a bit more cooking time. Packaging for delivery was impressive — everything arrived secure, warm, and well-presented. Overall, a strong experience.
