Excellent Mexican breakfast. South Texas Barbacoa as good as it gets. Ordered the plate with eggs prepared perfect. Beans have great flavor, flour tortillas Excellent. Counter service always on top of things. Ranch theme with many patrons working in the ranching industry, including many cowboys. Restaurant showcased on PBS by Chef Pati Jinich from Mexico City.

Carne Ranchero Taco and Egg & chorizo tacos were great. Carne ranchera has a good smokey flavor. Salsas were average, no green salsa available. Customer service is awesome always attentive and available for our needs.

This place has been my go to place for Breakfast Tacos. Laredo is my hometown. I visit every few years. But I visit this place 3 out the 4 days I'm here. Tacos de Carne Ranchera is a must! You will not be disappointed!!

Growing up our family were frequent customers. It was so refreshing to go back and the tacos were just as delicious as I remember. We had Barbacoa Taco (beef cheek meat), Carne guisda taco (beef meat cooked with a tomato base) and the Roberto Taco (Bean, brisket, bacon taco). The Cain's Coffee was the best coffee ever!

The food was awesome. The Robert's special taco is really good. It consists of bean and bacon with smoked brisket smothered in their signature gravy. It is a must try for anyone who goes there. Was recommended by a friend to try it and I was highly impressed. Their signature gravy is by far the star of the show. The machacado a la mexicana was also very good and a must try in it's own right. I am sure that their other selections on the menu are just as good. Will definitely go back for more.

Food was good. There was no waiting. Place was cleaned. Fast service. Prices are not bad at all. We order tacos and the flour tortillas are good. Salsas are good. It was hard to find parking but they have extra parking on the side. *****I didn't like that they have some selling chocolate inside the restaurant. It's ok if they stay by the door selling, but he was going table by table offering the candies. I don't like that.

This was an adequate breakfast experience. The parking is challenging to say it kindly, or dangerous to enter and exit. The inside is illuminated and attended to the point of sterility... managing to miss cleaning the restrooms thoroughly. Service was good, but not personable. Again, food was "good" but not anything more. This simply was not a place I would look forward to returning in the future.

We used to look forward on going every Saturday to enjoy their menudo, but recently we have noticed that the menudo doesn’t taste the same. We asked the gentle man if they had changed cooked because the tastes wasn’t the same anymore and he said it was that they changed the meat provider for the menudo. This was one of the few places that served good menudo. Very disappointed. 😔

Too pricey, I remember when the original owners started the restaurant. The new generation needs to remember customer service. Remember the customers make you or break you . Now they even charge you for coffee after 2 refills. Omg

The manager will harass you about your service k-9 even if you already satisfied their inquiry. Granted a business can only ask if the animal in question is a service dog and what tasks it performs. They cannot ask you for documentation or disabilities. Twice I provided my dog’s proof. Very confrontational and boasts about being a manager of a breakfast restaurant like I’m supposed to be intimidated or impressed. Thanks but no thanks. Food is subpar at best.
