This place was more than we expected! Our family celebrated 3 birthdays in one night. Never thought the restaurant would accommodate us the way they did. We received the private room in the back and had a lovely host by the name of Stephanie who was also part of the bday celebration "Woop Woop!". The food was amazing, and the privacy and atmosphere was beyond what my family needed. Everyone loved the service and could not stop bragging about how delicious the food was. We will definitely be returning. Thank you 😊

I wish i can give higher stars me and my boyfriend celebrated our aniversary there first of all the place is beautiful the service was super friendly the food was delicious and very authentic. At the end we recieved a complementary cake for our special day 🥹🎂 That really set the cherry on top for us a delicious cake 😋 Definitely will be back soon and visiting for the first time this restaurant for our aniversary was perfect❤️

This is like a hidden gem in lemon grove. Got here at 6 o’clock not too much of a wait. The place got packed. The service is really good and the food is excellent. We got the margarita, pizza, fettuccine, carbonara, spaghetti, and meatballs, some appetizers and everything was served really hot and really good. They even have a private room for small parties, which would be awesome.

Wonderful food and great service. I went here to celebrate my birthday. Everyone really enjoyed their food. Usually I'll take pictures but we just dove right in and starred eating. We started with the stuffed mushrooms, I only wish there was a couple more to share. There were only 4, but the flavors were great. I ordered the Gnoochi Caprese which was not what I was expecting but it was very delicious and I would have it again. My party also ordered the Short Rib Gnoochi, and again nothing that we expected and it was good. Also the Classic Caesar salad looked good. And my husband ordered the Fettuccine Maremonte, and wow that was good. The truffle stood out but not over powering. I liked the atmosphere and the outdoor dining was very cute all lit up but it was just too cold that night to enjoy it, so we did sit inside. I would recommend this place.

Best Italian food in Lemon Grove and probably all around San Diego County. Their brunch and dinner menus are both fantastic. I have tried the meatballs, the pizzas, the flatbreads, and they are all amazing. The owners are the best ever. They’re so kind and friendly all the time. If you’re in Lemon Grove, head out this way, no regrets!!!!

Italian dinner spot- My friends invited us to try out this new spot that we've been wanting to visit, and luckily, it's only a couple of blocks away from where we live. Our group of 12 was seated in a private room with a large table, and the customer service was top-notch. We ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, and it was amazing! The cocktails were also great, although a bit pricey, they were definitely worth it. Overall, we had a great time and we will definitely be back for more

Went to Giardino for a birthday with 4 people. The food was pretty good. We had the fried calamari and crab cakes for appetizers. The calamari was very good and the portion was substantial. The crab cakes tasted good and the mustard sauce was delicious but only came with 2 cakes. I got the chicken parm which was very good. Great portion size and quality food. Unfortunately the breading was a bit soggy but that was my only complaint. We also got the fettuccine Alfredo, salmon, and the lasagna. All the portions were fine and the food quality was high. Service was very nice but a but spotty on water refills. We sat at the outdoor patio which was nice but the overhead string lights were on a setting in which they would flash periodically, which bugged some of our party members. Overall, sit inside skip the crab cakes unless you really want them and enjoy Giardino because it deserves the hype.

We went there for Thanksgiving and the food was really good. They had a pre-set menu and the selection was perfect. Some of the items we got had been sitting around too long like the salad was limp. But the salmon was outstanding. Desert was out of this world good. Unfortunately the service was horrible. We were ignored! I felt pressured to leave a good tip because it was a holiday. The poor service really left a negative impression and the excellent food didn't make up for it. Doubt we'll go back.

Food was excellent but the service was 👎. Went for brunch at 11:30am on a Sunday so I know good restaurants are busy especially at the end of restaurant week. It was my honey, our pupper dog, and I so we sat at the front patio. There were 4 tables already seated so we expected a little wait. Initially asked for water and a coffee. Tasted my honey's coffee which was suprisingly refreshing. We requested a second coffee and ordered short rib Benedict and the short rib scramble. That was 11:40. Everything seemed fine. Waitress refilled my honey's coffee but never brought mine. 2 additional tables were seated after us and served at 12:10...still no coffee or food for us. Noticed one of the 2 tables being asked if they wanted desert by the time we received our 2 entrees at 12:18pm. Food was hot and the eggs benedict was perfect...thankfully... My coffee showed up at 12:25 which I kindly declined. I know not to be a bad customer before you get your food...I have seen "Waiting.. " with Ryan Reynolds and Anna Farris...but 40 minutes for 2 entrees is too long. Plus, the patio only had 1 fan so if the plastic coverings are down while it's sunny, be prepared to sweat. This is my 2nd encounter approximately 2 years apart at this restaurant. We had a similar experience (admittedly the wait wasn't as bad the 1st time)... great flavorful food but WAY TOO LONG of a wait depending on your server and where you sit which is fine if you're socializing and having drinks but this is not the place to go if you are on a schedule.

Service was great; however the food was really bad. We got calamari we had to send them back. It had no taste. They offer us bread; and that was frozen bread. I got lasagna; it was okay but not better than food you get get from target. They did offer us some tiramisu; that was good and truly home made. They even charged me for soda water.

Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. Flavor was good, pasta was cooked al dente and meatballs were good, but the sauce was extremely watery. It was like I was eating spaghetti soup. I wanted to try and change it, but the waitress was pre occupied (she did provide friendly and professional service, considering it was busy) so I continued to eat it. Would love to try it again to upgrade the review and hopefully the sauce isn't so watery.

Appetizer was good, but the pizza was a huge disappointment. It was overly cheesy and entirely too greasy to eat. There was literally a puddle of grease on top of the pizza. Why would you even serve that to a customer? We paid the tab and ate elsewhere. I will mention that our waitress did comp the greasy pizza.
