I decided to try this place after a year, and damn the food still sucks for the most part. No flavor, I got a carne asada burrito, I did like that the carne asada was crispy on the edges. It's also smaller compared to other Mexican food spots. Man, I want to like this place but I can't do it at this time. Maybe I'm ordering the wrong items on this menu Something must br ultra exceptional that has to be keeping this place in business. I was greeted by a nice fluffy lady at the window, service is fine, food... not so much

I live in spring valley, and am born and raised in spring valley! Nando’s is by far one of the best taco shops. Their prices are good food is the great and the people are so nice offering a friendly warming atmosphere. If ur in the San Diego area you must give this place a try.

I was able to get a large Jamaica with two hard shell tacos with rice and beans for about $14 with tax. I thought the chicken was good, the red sauce was solid and overall a cozy little place. Give it a shot if you're in the area.

I stopped coming here for a few months because I noticed the quality had been slowly declining, but I decided to give it another shot today and I am not disappointed! I ordered carne asada fries and the flavor and freshness was there. The lady who took my order is super nice and sweet, great service and food. Best taco shop within Lemon Grove imo.

This taco shop is an absolute gem! The flavors are bold, authentic, and clearly made with fresh ingredients—every bite feels to be straight from Mexico. I tried the carne asada and al pastor tacos, and both were packed with juicy, perfectly seasoned meat. The homemade salsas added the perfect kick, and the tortillas tasted fresh off the grill. The staff was friendly and quick, and the laid-back atmosphere made the whole experience even better. If you're craving real tacos done right, this is the spot!

It's a typical Mexian Rest. I really like their Machaca Burrito and Green Salsa. The owners care to get it right. I only order through the Drive - thru.

The rolled tacos here are the best in this area that I’ve tried. The food and aguas frescas are delicious. The lady taking orders at the drive thru though is kinda rude though. She got my drink wrong and I asked her to fix it. She said she already poured it so she has to charge it still. On multiple occasions she puts the wrong salsa or no salsa at all even after asking. I wouldn’t stay to eat sit down and eat, but I’ll definitely pick up and enjoy the food at home or at a park.

Great taco shop. They are good and consistent. They did forget an item in my order and i had to return to collect the missing item in the drive thru, but overall i like their food and they are very fast compared to other shops. Plus, you know the food is good when you see older Mexicans eating in their dining room.

Used to be my favorite taco shop. Got rolled tacos today 4-26-25..they were so baddddd. Guacamole had absolutely no flavor, beef had absolutely no flavor idk what happened. :( ...used to be my favorite spot for a breakfast burrito. Sausage, bacon, potatoe, lite beans...would mix the green and the red sauce but the hot sauce doesn't even taste the same now. Hope they can bring back the old flavor.

Food was edible. Cashier was short and seemed annoyed when taking the order. At the window she was not any nicer and when I paid, she presented me with the opportunity to tip! Not impressed.

You'll never see anyone sitting in here. Service sucks, maybe due to no experience with customer service. Not sure. But the burrito had more tortilla than anything. Where is the beef? It looked big until you bite into it. Won't recommend this place.

Didn't notice it at first, but I was charged over $4 of what the price was supposed to be for my burrito. The food was decent. I've had better but not bad.

Complaint..Update your menu board by adding a sticker over old pricing...the Price needs to match what your charging on folks credit card... Now that's out the way, my Mixed Burrito was Delicious but I won't be back.

12/7/24 i’ve been a regular customer to Nando’s for years this is the first time the food has been Tasteless with No flavor at all I ordered Asada fries. The fries were so hard at the bottom. They barely covered the fries with Anything i also ordered tacos. They were very soggy. Disgusting, Only thing I can do with this food is put in the trash!!! Get a better cook!!

I was disappointed with my experience here. I order a single meal through the drive through on my card and they charged me twice the price. I went in later to get the extra money I was charged back and the lady at the counter was completely unapologetic. I will not be returning. My brother in law who works in pest control informed me that they have a very bad cockroach infestation.

They seem to target people here to over charge them. I was charged for a whole other persons meal and the cashier laughed with that other customer like he knew what he was doing. This place used to be good but it clearly went down hill over the years…

This would be my go to place but I think Who I’m speaking of is the owner Is absolutely rudeI refuse to give this gentleman anymore of my money. He’s condescending and extremely nonprofessional. The food is decent, but not decent enough for me to go back and deal with that man. I’m speaking of the older gentleman kind of tall with glasses who is usually there in the mornings. I don’t know how he’s staying in business. Extremely horrible customer service.

I used to love this place but the last time I ate here I ordered their Carne asada fries and when I got it home it tasted off and much to my dismay I found a wooden toothpick steak mixed in. Like on of those things you push through a burger to keep it from falling apart. I haven't eaten here since. I should've known this place was going down hill when they charging for extra hot sauce. Don't eat here, go to Penelope's on El Cajon Blvd. They know what's up. Worth the drive.

The man was rude and not interested in what we asked or wanted. I have life threatening allergies so I just wanted to inquire about one item and was totally ignored. I ended up ordering a chicken taco, what I got was a greasy small taco with a tiny chicken piece and a smudge of some sauce, no lettuce nor cheeseWe will NEVER GO BACK to that place, the food is not even that good. I don't recommend this place at all
